Abstract

Macrozoobenthos is a group of benthic organisms measuring more than 1 mm that plays a crucial role in the process of decomposition and mineralization of organic material in aquatic ecosystems. The purpose of this observation was to determine the ecological index and density of macrozoobenthos in Pengudang and Dompak Waters. This observation was conducted from May 26-27, 2024 in the waters of Pengudang and Dompak using the survey method. Determination of sampling points is done by random sampling of 20 points each line transect. Macrozoobenthos measurements using 1x1m quadrant transect. The results showed that Pengudang waters had a higher species density with an average value of 13 (medium) compared to Dompak with an average of 0.03 (low). The diversity index ranged from 0.36-1.05, with Pengudang showing higher values. The uniformity index in Pengudang was 0.50 (medium), and in Dompak 0.17 (low). The dominance index was higher in Dompak (0.84) than Pengudang (0.40). Water quality parameters showed that temperature, salinity and pH were within safe limits, but TSS values in Dompak exceeded quality standards, indicating higher sedimentation levels.

Abstract

I'jaz ilmi" is one of the miracles of the Koran related to science, which appeared during the revival of science among Islamic Muslims, and greatly motivated its followers to study continuously. Even science is considered important. The earliest verses of the Qur'ân are the most fascinating references and the most important facts on the subject, because they encouraged people to explore and uphold this knowledge. In the Qur'an, the words "sama" and "bashar" often appear in the same verse, but usually the word "sama" comes first. The author found and collected data about the research object, namely the words sama and bashar, using a qualitative approach. The study reached several conclusions, one of which was that the words "sama" and "bashar" are mentioned thirty-four times in the Quran.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine how external and internal factors influence the development of business strategies at Maze Café, as well as to formulate relevant and applicable strategies in responding to the dynamics of the F\&B industry. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation, structured interviews, and documentation from Maze Café’s official social media accounts. The data were analyzed using a thematic analysis method focusing on internal and external factors. The findings indicate that Maze Café has strengths in terms of location, aesthetic concept, and service quality, but shows weaknesses in healthy menu innovation and digitalization. Intense competition and shifting consumer trends pose threats that must be addressed through adaptive strategies. It is concluded that Maze Café needs to implement an aggressive growth strategy through differentiation, digitalization, and product and market development. This research is expected to provide practical contributions to similar culinary MSMEs in facing the dynamic competition of the industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal yang memengaruhi keberlangsungan dan daya saing perusahaan batu alam Jibal Stones. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara langsung kepada pemilik usaha serta kajian literatur dari sumber-sumber akademik. Analisis lingkungan eksternal menggunakan pendekatan PESTLE dan Porter’s Five Forces, sedangkan analisis internal dilakukan melalui VRIO, Value Chain, dan matriks IFAS-EFAS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Jibal Stones memiliki kekuatan pada kualitas produk, estetika, layanan terintegrasi, dan pemasaran digital. Namun, perusahaan menghadapi tantangan seperti fluktuasi pasokan bahan baku, harga tinggi, serta kurangnya dukungan dari pemerintah. Strategi S/O (Strength-Opportunity) dinilai paling sesuai untuk mengoptimalkan peluang pasar melalui penguatan keunggulan internal, digitalisasi, dan inovasi produk.

Abstract

UMKM Bebi Bonsai merupakan usaha tanaman hias bonsai yang sedang berkembang di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi keberlangsungan bisnis, serta merumuskan strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk pengembangan usaha. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces, Competitor Mapping, EFAS, VRIO, Value Chain, BMC, SWOT, dan Matriks IE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan utama Bebi Bonsai terletak pada keunikan produk dan keahlian SDM, sementara tantangan utama berada pada aspek legalitas dan pengiriman produk. Strategi GROW AND BUILD diidentifikasi sebagai strategi utama untuk meningkatkan daya saing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a case study of Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann, a local business specializing in traditional Sundanese snack food, cireng (fried tapioca cake). Despite its potential market, this MSME faces challenges related to product quality, distribution, and promotion. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, interviews, and direct observation of the business owners and consumers. The findings reveal that product differentiation strategy, along with a strong focus on quality and innovation in flavor varieties, plays a key role in improving competitiveness. Additionally, effective marketing management through social media and partnerships with distribution agents significantly contribute to market expansion and product visibility. By implementing the right strategies, Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann has successfully improved its position in the local market and strengthened customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors that affect the sustainability of the Kebab Sultan MSME business in Panyileukan, and to develop appropriate development strategies based on these conditions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews with MSME owners and employees. Data analysis was carried out using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) approach to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the Kebab Sultan MSME. The results of the study show that MSMEs have several strengths such as distinctive product tastes and strategic locations, but also face weaknesses in terms of marketing management. From the external side, the opportunities are wide open with the increasing public interest in fast food, but there are threats from similar business competition around the Panyileukan area. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, development strategies that can be applied include increasing digital promotion, increasing brand awareness, and more efficient operational management. This research is expected to be the basis for strategic considerations for MSME actors in developing their businesses sustainably.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the economy, including in the growing culinary sector. Cimol Bojot Aa, a culinary business focusing on selling cimol snacks, operates in a highly competitive market. This study aims to analyze the internal and external environments influencing the business strategy of the SME Cimol Bojot Aa. The methodology used includes SWOT and TOWS analysis, combining internal and external factor analysis to formulate business development strategies. Data were collected through interviews with the business owner, direct observation, and related document studies. The results show that Cimol Bojot Aa has strengths in unique products and competitive pricing, but faces challenges in marketing and financial management. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the business focus on strengthening digital marketing strategies and improving financial management for sustainable growth. This study provides practical recommendations for SME owners in planning adaptive and competitive business strategies in the culinary market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internal and external conditions of the Es Teh Poci business in Panyileukan, Bandung, as a strategic case study of a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) in the soft drink sector. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the business owner and supported by recent scholarly literature. The analysis employed several strategic frameworks, including PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces, Competitor Mapping, Industry Matrix, EFAS, IFAS, IE Matrix, as well as internal analysis tools such as VRIO, Value Chain, Business Model Canvas, and TOWS Matrix. The findings reveal that Es Teh Poci has advantages in its distinctive taste, affordable pricing, and customer loyalty. However, it also faces challenges such as intense market competition and limited digital promotion. A differentiation strategy focused on product quality and service is essential to maintain its position in the local market. Based on the IE Matrix, the business is positioned in the “Grow and Build” quadrant, suggesting that efforts should be directed toward strengthening internal capabilities—particularly in digital marketing and product innovation—to seize external opportunities amid the rising trend of modern beverage consumption

Abstract

The study aims at investigating factors affecting college students for entering technopreneurship, and whether their intentions are affected by their education backgrounds. The variables being used in the study are Social Support, Academic Support, Attitude toward Technopreneurship, Technopreneurship Intention, and Education background as moderating variable between Attitude toward Technopreneurship and Technopreneurship Intention. The research method is a quantitative study using PLS-SEM analysis. There are 333 respondents data were collected from students of various universities in Bandung and are valid for being used in the study. The result shows that Social Support and Academic Support are significantly affecting students’ Attitude toward becoming technopreneurs, while the attitude toward technopreneurship significantly affects Technopreneurship Intention. However, the effect of Social Support on Attitude is stronger than Academic Support. The Social Support is the degree of family influence on the students (such as having family background which have strong entrepreneurship values and practices). It is surprising that Academic Support, the degree of influence of the academic institutions toward technopreneurship mindset of the students, have a rather weak effect on the students. This finding is quite a reflection of the technopreneurship education so far in the higher education. Another interesting finding is that the education backgrounds (major) of the students do not significantly moderate the relationship between Attitude toward Technopreneurship and Technopreneurship Intention. That means the intention to become technopreneur is not dominated by students who have an IT-based education. This result is contrary to the assumption that students with IT background are more likely to develop ventures for IT startup company. That is in line with our expectation that a technopreneur can emerge from any major background.
