Abstract

Innovative learning in the independent learning period from home by utilizing features in online applications in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to analyse the effect of the implementation of the flipped classroom model on concepts mastery and interpersonal intelligence of students. The research used quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were 5th grade. The sample were 100 students consisting of four classes. Two experimental classes were given flipped classroom and STEM approach and two control classes were given reguler learning. The samples were chosen with sampling purposive technique. Data collection techniques used test techniques (multiple choice questions) and non-test (observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews, documentation). Data analysis techniques are prerequisite test, one-way ANOVA test and hypothesis t-test. The results of the average research test in the experimental class of concept understanding were 89.52 and interpersonal intelligence was 85.64, while in the control class, understanding of concepts was 77.08 and interpersonal intelligence was 64.74. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there are significant effects and differences using the STEAM approach-based flipped classroom model in online mode to improve mastery concepts and interpersonal intelligence of students.

Abstract

Environmental-based learning is important for science learning in elementary school. It also refers to the concrete stage of students' thinking skills in elementary school. The use of problem-based learning model based on ethnoscience needs to be developed as a holistic learning process. This research sought to analyze the use of problem-based learning model on students' critical thinking skills and intrapersonal intelligence. This research employed mixed methods with a concurrent embedded research design. It took place in Babalan Elementary School and Kedungmutih Elementary School, located in Demak Regency. The research samples consisted of 96 fourth grade elementary school students. The data were collected through test, observation, and questionnaire techniques. The regression results revealed that there were significant differences in student activities using problem-based learning on their critical thinking skills. Based on the results of simple regression, it was found that (p = 0.00) < (∝ = 0.05); meaning that student activities in using problem-based learning affect critical thinking skills. The critical thinking skills affected students' intrapersonal intelligence, as shown by the results of the sig (2-tailed) regression test of 0.00 < 0.05; meaning that critical thinking skills affect intrapersonal intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to understand, describe, analyze, and measure the increase of critical thinking skills, self-efficacy and the character compassion due to the application of the flipped classroom online learning model equipped by thinking actively in social and context (TASC). This work is quasi-experimental research using the quantitative analysis. Data was collected from several techniques, consist of observation, tests, non-test and documentation.  The validity of the data in this study used normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using t-test.  The results show that the critical thinking ability obtained t-count value 1.988 with a significance 0.052, that means the average critical thinking ability of the experimental group is higher than that of control group.  Then, the self-efficacy component, a t-count value of 1.843 was obtained with a significance of 0.068, which means that the average self-efficacy ability of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group.  The t-count value of the character compassion component is 1.910 with a significance of 0.058, which means that the average of character compassion ability of the experimental group is higher than to that of the control group.  The results of the study showed that the TASC flipped classroom online learning model in physics of work and energy matter can improve critical thinking skills, self-efficacy and character compassion of the students on senior high school.

Abstract

This study focuses on promoting environmentally responsible behavior through humanistic education among fourth-grade students at SD Alam Tangerang. The research aims to analyze the effects of humanistic education on students' environmentally responsible behavior in their daily lives. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collection techniques including observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data validation was carried out using source triangulation through interviews with the school principal, fourth-grade teachers, and three fourth-grade students, as well as technique triangulation, which included observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis followed Miles and Huberman's interactive approach, which involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study's findings suggest that humanistic education should be implemented in elementary schools with a holistic and comprehensive approach. This education was essential for developing students' moral values, ethics, empathy, and environmental responsibility from an early age. Humanistic education places students at the center of the learning process, enabling them to develop critical thinking, creativity, and reflective skills. In practice, this approach should be integrated into the elementary schoolcurriculum through intramural activities, such as teaching mathematics, the Indonesian language, and other subjects related to environmental issues, as well as extracurricular activities like tree planting and environmental campaigns.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to analyze learning based on the character and friendly attitude of students. The purpose of this study is how the character and self-interest of students in learning physics in a learning model. The research design used was quantitative research with survey research. The research sample was public high school and private high school in Semarang. The instrument used was a questionnaire using a google form. The results of this study were the lack of student character in learning, one of which was the student's curiosity in learning with a character proportion of 48%. Then, the proportion of students' self-confidence or self-confidence is still classified as low category. Students who lack confidence in their achievements and in doing assignments at school can affect learning models that are less precise and effective.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a STEM-based performance assessment instrument to analyze students' creativity. This research used the Research and Development method referring to the 4D model. The define stage was carried out by conducting preliminary studies which were then analyzed, starting from analysis of initial, student, concept, task and learning objectives. The design stage was an initial design in the form of Draft I. The development stage was carried out to produce draft II, draft III, and final products from performance assessment instruments. Draft II was obtained through the results of expert validation revisions. Draft III was the result of small-scale product trials. The Final Product was from the results of large-scale product trials. STEM-based performance assessment instruments used to analyze students' creativity were developed in the form of 1) Lesson Plan, 2) Student Worksheets, 3) Grid, 4) Performance Assessment Sheet, 5) Assessment Rubric, and 6) Assessment Guidelines. Expert Validation of STEM-based performance assessment instruments used to analyze students' creativity produced valid criteria that was worthy of trial. Based on the results of product trials, both small-scale and large-scale also showed reliable categories. The developed STEM-based performance assessment instrument is valid and reliable so that it can be used to analyze students' creativity. Based on this, it was known the profile of students' creativity in two Public High Schools of Brebes Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of mathematics teaching materials in the context of child-friendly schools from 2019 to 2024. As an approach that links mathematical concepts with local culture, ethnomathematics has great potential to support inclusive, contextual, and meaningful learning, especially in elementary schools. This research uses a systematic literature review method with a biometric approach analyzed using OpenRefine, VosViewer, Biblioshiny, and Microsoft Excel. Data were taken from scientific articles published in the Scopus database with a focus on mathematics teaching materials and the concept of child-friendly schools. The analysis process includes the identification of research trends, collaboration among researchers, geographical distribution, and the visualization of relationships between main keywords in the relevant literature. The research results indicate that the topic of ethnomathematics is gaining more attention among academics, but a lack of teacher understanding and limited teaching materials still hinders its application in the field. Adequate teacher training also poses a barrier to the implementation of mathematics in schools. Nevertheless, the analysis results indicate a significant opportunity for further research, especially with the increase in the number of publications in recent years. This recommends close collaboration between educators, curriculum developers, researchers, and local communities to strengthen the implementation of ethnomathematics in creating an inclusive and child-friendly learning environment to improve the quality of primary education in Indonesia.
