Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop KATARIAN as an Android-based Edutainment media to improve the multiplication calculation skills of class III students at SDN Lebak Gede and find out the feasibility of the media being developed. Apart from that, through this research, it will be known how students' abilities increase before and after using KATARIAN media. This research uses a type of development research with the ADDIE development model. The research instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media experts validation sheets, pretest-posttest question sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for validation by experts and teachers are measured using a Likert scale, then the pretest and posttest sheets use the N-Gain formula analysis. Meanwhile, media feasibility is measured by teacher and student response questionnaires. From the research results, it is known that this Edutainment-based KATARIAN media is very valid in terms of validation results from material experts and media experts with an average percentage of 96% in the very valid category. Judging from the pretest-posttest results before and after media use, the N-Gain result was 0.6073 with a "medium" increase category. The suitability of the media can be determined through the results of the teacher questionnaire, namely getting 98% results and student response questionnaires getting 99% results. Based on these results, KATARIAN media can be categorized as very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the bullying problem in elementary school students. The role of PAI subject teachers in shaping and teaching students' behaviour, morals, manners, and positive attitudes has a special and different touch. With the limited methods and media used to socialize students about the prevention of bullying and the inappropriate state and condition of libraries, as well as the very limited supply of books regarding bullying, the development of the e-book Stop Bullying is presented as one solution to help PAI teachers grow knowledge and attitudes toward anti-bullying in students. The research was carried out at SDN Bekasi Jaya IV, with the research subject being class 4B. Research and Development with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Before being tested, the e-book Stop Bullying carried out a validation assessment by media experts and original material. The level of material validity obtained a total average percentage of (85.97%) and media validity of (93.12%). The e-book Stop Bullying received a teacher response rating with a total average percentage of 87.86%. After the trial and students carried out a test in the form of a questionnaire, the average rate of total knowledge obtained was (94.93%) and entered the very good category. The results of the attitude questionnaire obtained a total average percentage of (93.97%) and were included in the positive category. The E-Book Stop Bullying product can help PAI teachers cultivate anti-bullying knowledge and attitudes in students.Keywords: Development, E-Book, Bullying, Knowledge, Attitude

Abstract

Kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam mempelajari mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya materi pantun. Tak hanya itu, peserta didik seringkali merasa bosan jika pembelajaran tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran yang nyata. Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran yang disebut animasi video KATUN (Kania Berpantun). Model Hannafin dan Peck digunakan dalam proses pengembangan animasi video, yang meliputi tiga langkah: analisis, desain, dan implementasi. Metode pengumpulan data ini menggunakan metode angket dan tes. Penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa subjek yaitu 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media pembelajaran, 5 uji coba individu, 20 peserta didikuji coba kelompok kecil, 44 peserta didiksebagai pengguna produk pada tahap diseminasi, dan 3 wali kelas kelas V sebagai asesor pengguna produk. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 26. Validitas materi kurang lebih 82,5%, dan validitas media pembelajaran kurang lebih 90%. Uji coba perorangan dengan rata-rata 85%, 95%, 95%, 90%, 85%, dan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan rata-rata 85%. Hasil evaluasi produk saat diimplementasikan di sekolah yang berbeda adalah 92,9% untuk VA dan 88,75% untuk VB. Hasil pengujian produk oleh guru kelas V sebagai pengguna produk adalah 76,6%, 80%, dan 87%. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta didik dalam mempelajari dan membuat pantun.  Disimpulkan bahwa video animasi KATUN (Kania Berpantun) mudah digunakan dan membantu dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The development of cultural globalization that is currently happening does not reflect the noble character and norms in the country of Indonesia, and the Islamic religious law is widely imitated by children through the internet. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen morals and strong implementation so as not to fade the moral values ​​of the nation's successors. The BOPAK (Book Of Plans Akhlakul Karimah) product is a semi-digital learning media development which contains material on Akhlakul Karimah, this material is contained in a book and in the form of an animated video that can be accessed in the form of a barcode. This book also does not only contain material, but there is a mission to complete each akhlaq karimah material that can be done by students which aims to strengthen akhlaq karimah attitude for students. This research and development aims to: (1) find out the results of product validation as an effort to improve the morals of fourth grade elementary school students, (2) develop conventional book-based learning into semi-digital-based interactive audio-visual media using barcodes. For data collection, this study used a D&D research approach. The product will be validated by several experts including teachers, and students through three aspects of assessment, namely aspects of media, learning, and material. From the results of research that has been carried out regarding the effectiveness of using BOPAK products by students and teachers, the majority get scores with very good criteria. The statement stated that this barcode-based book learning media was very helpful as a source of moral cultivation for elementary school students based on the conversion of assessment criteria.

Abstract

This research is a development of learning media in the form of a website "MENARA (Mengenal Nabi dan Rasul)" to enhance elementary school students' understanding of Nabi and Rasul. The research method employed is Design and Development (DND) along with the application of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study involved teachers and 4th grade students from Babakan Hurip Elementary School in the Sumedang regency as research subjects. An interactive website titled "MENARA" was developed with content focusing on introducing Nabi and Rasul in Islam, tailored to the elementary school curriculum. The website was designed with an engaging design approach and is easy to comprehend for children. The research findings indicate that the use of the "MENARA" website significantly improves students' understanding of Nabi and Rasul. Both student and teacher responses show that the designed product can be categorized as excellent. These findings demonstrate that website development using the DND approach and the application of the ADDIE model is an effective method in enhancing students' understanding of religious material, particularly the introduction of Nabi and Rasul in Islam. The implications of this research provide support for internet technology-based learning approaches in the context of religious education in elementary schools. Abstract

Research entitled Utilization of Interactive E-books "Leadership of Khulafaur Rashidin" to Increase the Knowledge of Elementary School children in Grade 6 using the Design and Development (D&D) research method with the ADDIE development model explains the design and development of interactive e-book learning media on Khulafaur Rashidin's leadership material in elementary school grade 6. The background of this research is to determine the composition of interactive E-book learning media, develop learning media, and collect responses and comments from experts and media users. They collected data using interview techniques, observation, distributing questionnaires, & literature study. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and research procedures. Reviews are grouped into several aspects, namely the quality of the content/material, language, & content. Responses from experts and users averaged 91% “Very good.” Experts & users also provide suggestions for evaluation material for designing and developing the developed learning media.   Keywords: Interactive E-book, Khulafaur Rasyidin, Knewledge

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate the EKSIS product, a learning media based on ecosystem materials designed to introduce the concept of ecosystems to third-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D), with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation instrument consists of a five-point Likert scale assessment sheet to measure the quality of the product from two main aspects: product design and content material. The validation results show that EKSIS received an average score of 5 for both assessed aspects, placing it in the "excellent" category. The product was deemed relevant to learning needs, supported curriculum achievements, and had an effective design that engaged students and enhanced their understanding of ecosystem materials. Based on these findings, EKSIS is considered suitable for use in the learning process. The use of this product is expected to help introduce the concept of ecosystems and provide an engaging and in-depth learning experience for students. This research significantly contributes to developing innovative learning media that align with educational needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The integration of technology in learning is constantly evolving to improve student understanding. One of the challenges in teaching science in elementary schools is presenting abstract concepts, such as faunal diversity, in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Augmented reality offers a solution by providing an immersive visual learning experience. This study aims to assess the effect of augmented reality flashcards on understanding the concept of faunal diversity in fifth grade students. This study used an experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design, students were divided into two groups, where the experimental group used augmented reality flashcards and the control group with conventional methods. Data was collected through pretest and posttest, analyzed using paired sample t-test, independent t-test, effect size, and N-Gain. The results showed a significant increase in the understanding of students who used augmented reality flashcards (Sig. 0.004 <0.05) with an effect size of 2.08 (large category). N-Gain analysis showed a higher increase in comprehension in the experimental group (0.57) compared to the control group (0.36). This finding confirms that augmented reality flashcards can be an effective learning tool for teachers in teaching abstract science concepts.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi semakin berkembang untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menganalisis efektivitas video animasi “Kilani” berbasis Canva dalam menyampaikan kisah keteladanan Nabi Ibrahim a.s. kepada siswa kelas 2 SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengembangan media ini melibatkan perancangan animasi yang interaktif dan menarik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video animasi ini dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa serta mempermudah pemahaman mereka terhadap nilai-nilai keteladanan Nabi Ibrahim a.s. Selain itu, respon guru dan siswa terhadap media ini sangat positif, dengan indikator peningkatan partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Keunggulan utama dari video animasi ini adalah kemampuannya menyajikan materi secara kontekstual, menarik, dan lebih mudah dipahami dibandingkan dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Oleh karena itu, media ini dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The goal of this project is to create an interactive, web-based flipbook called "KIPRAH NABI MUHAMMAD SAW" that will help students better comprehend the Prophet Muhammad's political battle in the establishment of Islamic culture. The Design and Development (D&D) approach, which includes phases for analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, is used in this study. Third-grade students participated in the study, which was carried out at SDN Margamulya, Cimalaka Village, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency. Direct observation and instrument validation were used to gather data. The investigators employed applications and platforms such as Canva, Pinterest, Heyzine Flipbook, and Wordwall to develop and present the material interactively. This flipbook is integrated into the Google Sites platform to ensure broad accessibility for students and educators. Evaluation results indicate that the use of this website-based flipbook provides a more engaging and effective learning experience compared to conventional methods. Students demonstrated improved comprehension of historical and political Islamic values applied by the Prophet Muhammad in building Madinah. With this digital media, Islamic Education (PAI) learning is expected to become more interactive and aligned with the needs of the digital era.
