Abstract

This research is a development research (research & development). A Classical Guidance Service Toolkit to Increase Student Learning Responsibilities is the finished product. The 4D model put forth by Thiagarajan (1974) is used in this study's development, which goes as follows: Define, design, develop, and distribute are the first three steps. Five guidance and counseling professionals, including three professors at FIP Undiksha and two counseling teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, participated in this study. Examples of classical guide service instruments include evaluation tools, service materials, media, and RPL. The findings of the CVR index calculation using the overall score yielded a CVR of 65 upon acceptance of the classical guiding service device, yielding a CVI calculation result of 1. As can be seen the t-test probability value or Sig.(2-tailed) on the table is 0,023 this value is less than 0.05 significance level. The classical guidance service tool is hence successful in raising student learning responsibility. Thus, increasing student learning responsibility is successful with the typical guidance service tool

Abstract

This research is research development or research and development. The development procedure used in this study uses the 4D model, namely: define, design, development, and dissemination. This study implemented the subject of 3 guidance counseling experts from Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha guidance counselors and 3 guidance counseling experts from counseling teachers at schools. In the process of studying the effectiveness of the guidebook, researchers implemented 10 students of SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja as subjects. Of the 25 items of the instrument which were used to assess content validity, it was stated that the group guidance manual with problem solving techniques for student career planning had good validity in each item. The assessment of the content validity index of the counseling manual is very important to determine whether it is appropriate or not to be used. The hypothesis study explains that the Handbook is effective in enhancing students' career planning. For the ES value = 1.334 which is included in the high ES category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a behavioral approach with self-management techniques to minimize truancy behavior in class XI students of SMAN 4 Singaraja. The design in this study used "Pre-Experimental Design: One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design", a purposive sampling method involving 10 students and obtained research samples in class XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, XI IPA 1, XI IPA 6, and XI BB 2. The data collection method used was observation and counseling documentation. In data analysis using a list of student attendance. Next, the calculation of the test analysis will be carried out using the Wilcoxon Marked-Level Test calculation. After obtaining the calculated t value, then proceed with consulting the t table value of a significance level of 0.05 of -1.96 or in other words Z0.025 = -1.96. The Z value obtained in the study was 2.26. The Z value in the table with a significance level of 0.05 is -1.96. Or in other words Z0.025 = -1.96. This means Zhit>Za/2, so H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted. So, the application of behavioral counseling using self-management techniques is effective in minimizing truant behavior in class XI students of SMAN 4 Singaraja.

Abstract

Developing students' literacy skills and character values is essential in fostering holistic competencies in elementary education. However, conventional learning media often lack contextual relevance and fail to integrate cultural values, limiting their impact on students' personal and academic development. This study investigates the effect of character-based learning media integrated with local wisdom on students' literacy skills and character development. A quasi-experimental research design was applied, involving elementary school students assigned to experimental and control groups. The data were gathered through literacy performance assessments and character observation rubrics. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was employed to analyze the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed that students who engaged with character-based media grounded in local wisdom demonstrated significantly greater improvement in both literacy proficiency and character traits compared to the control group. The integration of culturally relevant content with character education principles allowed students to connect more deeply with learning materials and internalize core values such as responsibility, respect, and cooperation. These findings highlight the potential of localized, value-driven learning media in enhancing not only academic achievement but also moral and social development. The study suggests that adopting culturally rooted and character-based pedagogical approaches can substantially enrich elementary education practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling using modeling technique and counseling transactional analysis using role playing technique to minimize student’s tendency of aggressive behavior. This experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design is taking samples using purposive sampling technique. The sample were 18 tenth grade students from Senior High School Laboratorium Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha who have high aggressive behavior. 18 sample were randomly assigned to three group, that is: (1) experimental group of behavioral counseling using modeling technique; (2) counseling transactional analysis using role playing technique group; and (3) control group. Data on aggressive behavior tendency before and after treatment were collected using questionnaire of aggressive behavior, then analyzed by t test. The results show: (1) behavioral counseling using modeling technique were effective to minimize the tendency of aggressive behavior; (2) counseling transactional analysis using role playing technique were effective to minimize the aggressive behavior; and (3) counseling transactional analysis using role playing technique were more effectively minimizes the tendency of aggressive behavior rather than behavioral counseling using modeling technique.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop and test a digital counseling model that integrates Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Harmony (MCBH) with digital tools to enhance students’ learning comfort and happiness in educational contexts. Methodology: A Research and Development design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing model validity, practicality, learning comfort, and learning happiness from 280 elementary school students in Bali, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to determine the effectiveness of the model. Main Findings: The study found that the MCBH digital counseling model significantly enhanced students’ emotional regulation, learning comfort, and happiness. The digital tools used, including mobile applications and online platforms for mindfulness exercises and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, were highly effective in providing accessible, continuous emotional support. This technology not only complemented traditional counseling methods but also contributed to the learning process by fostering sustained engagement, improved focus, and enhanced academic performance, showing how digital platforms can serve a pedagogical function in education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study introduces a digital counseling model integrating mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and local cultural wisdom (Tri Hita Karana). It demonstrates how digital tools enhance emotional regulation, student engagement, and learning outcomes through continuous support and real-time feedback. The model contributes to educational technology by offering a scalable, sustainable, and culturally responsive approach to student well-being and learning support.

Abstract

Every student will undergo their education with the difficulties they will experience, and every student will experience a thesis or final project which is one of the requirements for a student to be considered a graduate. When carrying out a thesis, the average student will experience anxiety, and anxiety regarding the thesis can be said to be academic anxiety. Academic anxiety is a feeling of fear, danger, and fear due to the pressure of the education being pursued. Rapid counseling is a method of therapeutic assistance that is carried out quickly, with just one meeting, and can be carried out individually or in groups. and can be combined with music. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Rapid Counseling with Single-Session Music Therapy to reduce anxiety about the thesis in three Atma Jaya Counseling Guidance Students. The subjects of this research were three female students from the class of 2019 who were taking a thesis and had a high level of academic anxiety. This research is a quantitative experimental research with a single subject design. The interview data collection technique and assessment scale instrument constructed by Situmorang is the Academic Anxiety Scale which has a total of 24 items with a validity result of 0.268 and a reliability of 0.961. In the implementation of Rapid Counseling with Single-Session Music Therapy, it can be effective in reducing anxiety about the thesis with just one meeting session and can provide the counselee with a "soundtrack of my life" that has been made together with the counselor during the counseling service so that when anxiety about the thesis is high again, the counselee only needs to listen to the song that has been made together with the counselor.

Abstract

Kemampuan penyesuaian diri siswa merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan akademik dan sosial, terutama pada masa transisi ke jenjang sekolah menengah pertama. Namun, tidak semua siswa mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan baik karena adanya pola pikir negatif yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kognitif behavioral dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif dalam setting kelompok untuk meningkatkan penyesuaian diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Sebagai sampel penelitian, dipilih secara selektif sebanyak 14 siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Singaraja dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang selanjutnya didistribusikan ke dalam dua kategori kelompok, yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket penyesuaian diri, kemudian dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji t, dan effect size. Analisis hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa distribusi data memenuhi asumsi kenormalan serta menunjukkan tingkat keseragaman (homogenitas). Analisis yang dilakukan terhadap hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol bersifat signifikan secara statistik, yang tercermin dari nilai signifikansi (p) yang lebih kecil dari 0,001. Selain itu, nilai effect size sebesar 7,313 menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat dari perlakuan yang diberikan. Peserta didik dalam kelompok eksperimen memperlihatkan perkembangan pada aspek interaksi sosial, keterlibatan aktif, serta rasa percaya diri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang diberikan efektif dalam meningkatkan penyesuaian diri siswa. Simpulan studi ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan konseling kognitif-behavioral yang dipadukan dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif dalam konteks kelompok layak dan efektif dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu alternatif layanan bimbingan dan konseling di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas konseling kelompok kognitif behavioral dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif dalam menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment, yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan konseling kelompok kognitif behavioral dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala prokrastinasi akademik yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan bantuan IBM Statistic SPSSi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Selain itu, hasil perhitungan effect size menunjukkan nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 3,33 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok kognitif behavioral dengan teknik restrukturisasi kognitif efektif dalam menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas X. Dengan demikian, layanan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif intervensi dalam membantu siswa mengurangi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik di sekolah.
