Abstract

Purpose this research is to describe the differences in student learning outcomes given the model of cooperative learning type Make a Match and students who are given cooperative learning model type Talking Stick. This research was conducted in SMK Negeri 2 Palu using experimental method. Cooperative learning model is divided into two factors, the model of cooperative learning type Make a Match and cooperative learning model type Talking Stick. Data analysis used is t-scheffe test analysis with 5% significant level, obtained thitung = -0,084 < ttabel = 2,01, then H0 accepted, The result of research indicate that there is no difference of learning result of student's history given model of Make a Match and the students who are given the Talking Stick model and the learning outcomes of cooperative learning model Talking Stick type is higher than the Make a Match type in the class X AP SMK Negeri 2 Palu.

Abstract

The problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction on student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of student learning motivation, the relationship between the direct instruction model and the student learning motivation, and the relationship between the problem-basic-learning model and direct instruction towards the students' learning motivation in history subjects in class X MAN 2, Palu city. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is 250 students. Sampling was done by random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used was correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a strong relationship between the problem-basic-learning model of learning motivation with a sig value of 0.002, the relationship between direct instruction models and learning motivation also showed a strong relationship with a sig value of 0.048, while the relationship between problem-basic learning models. -learning and direct instruction on history learning motivation obtained a strong relationship with a value of 0.7484.

Abstract

This research aims to; (1) describe the ability of teachers in designing and evaluating learning through the 2013 curriculum in Class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi; (2) knowing the ability of teachers to implement learning strategies through the 2013 curriculum in class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi. 3) determine the impact of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on student learning outcomes in class XII of SMA Negeri 2 Sigi. Data collection techniques namely observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis. The results obtained are: 1) The ability of teachers in designing planning for the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SMAN 2 Sigi, teachers are able to link basic competencies, learning materials, learning activities, indicators of competency achievement, assessment, learning resources and the application of information and communication technology that they design in one wholeness learning experience. 2) the ability of teachers to implement learning strategies through the 2013 curriculum using direct learning strategies and indirect learning strategies. 3) the impact of applying the 2013 curriculum to student learning outcomes is the value of student semester exam results on average by more than 70%, this is because teachers use scientific approach models, project based learning, discovery learning, and various forms of strategies to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that most students own and use gadgets as a learning medium of economic. It is information from the students who reveal that economic teachers demand the students to use the device, some students who are new to using gadgets on particular material in economics subject. The use of gadgets as a medium of learning in the classroom needs to be balanced with the social skills of students. It needs to be a concern that the use of gadgets does not make students an individualistic and "autistic" figures. Besides, there should be prevention that they will not have engrossed themselves with gadgets, which makes them ignore their surroundings, including friends. The purpose of this research is to describe The Effectiveness of Gadgets based on the Uses and Gratification Theory in Economic Learning to Build the Social Skills of Grade XI Students at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi. This research used descriptive and qualitative methods. The results indicated that under the theory of needs and motives for the use of media or Uses and Gratification, at least some aspects can be used with teachers being able to build social skills in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sigi, namely: 1) Cognitive Skills, 2) Affective Skills, 3) Personal Integrative Needs; 4) Social Integrative Needs, 5) Escapist Needs. Teachers can carry out the use of gadget media in economic learning effectively, can develop economic learning materials that fit the needs of new knowledge for students. Teachers can make positive affective efforts (actions), and students can learn themselves or be actively involved (participative) in knowing new economic learning materials, then simultaneously in building social skills Grade XI Students at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi through the use of gadget.
