Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis siswa berdasarkan teori APOS ditinjau dari gaya kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Gianyar dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin dan diperoleh jumlah anggota sampel sebanyak 246 orang. Istrumen yang digunakan berupa tes gaya kognitif menggunakan Group Embedded Figure Test (GEFT), tes pemahaman konsep, serta pedoman wawancara untuk menunjang hasil penelitian. Data tes gaya kognitif dikategorikan berdasarkan skor siswa. Data tes pemahaman konsep dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan data hasil wawancara dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 58% siswa memiliki pemahaman konsep berdasarkan teori APOS yang tergolong rendah. Beberapa solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yaitu dengan menggunakan metode dan model pembelajaran yang tepat dengan karakteristik siswa, perbanyak latihan soal, menggunakan bantuan media pembelajaran seperti video animasi dan lebih teliti dalam menyelesaikan soal. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konsep, Teori APOS, Gaya Kognitif

Abstract

This study aims to produce characteristics of digital learning devices and characteristics of the implementation of learning devices based on the ICARE model in improving students' mathematical problem solving ability and self-efficacy. This design research uses Plomp's research procedures. The product trial used the shifting method. The research subjects were students of class XA (limited trial), XC (field test I), and XE (field test II) at SMAN 1 Blahbatuh. The data collected from the research instruments were analyzed descriptively. The research results in the form of digital learning devices including teaching modules, digital student books, problem solving tests, and student self-efficacy questionnaires that are valid, practical, and effective. Validity uses expert test. Practicality uses the implementation sheet, student and teacher response questionnaires. Effectiveness using problem solving tests and student self-efficacy questionnaires at each meeting. The characteristics of the device obtained are digital; focus on improving students' math problem solving skills and self-efficacy; use the ICARE model; integrate technology; pay attention to the diversity of learning styles; self-efficacy questionnaire that can open students' minds; math problem solving test

Abstract

The government's recommendation to wear masks daily is very important to avoid the Covid-19. This article analyzes the use of the ESP32 Cam as a mask detector, where proper use must cover the nose and mouth. The captured images can be retrieved and executed by a program created using Python. The OpenCV library is used to access the camera, while the TensorFlow library with training files in the datasheet performs mask detection. The experimental results of detecting masks in bright conditions show the fastest time is 1 second with an ideal distance of 1m and a maximum distance of 2.5m. On the other hand, in dark conditions, the fastest time is 2 seconds with an ideal distance of 1m and a maximum distance of 1.5m.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a flat shapes e-module based on project-based learning (PBL) supported by Scratch to enhance computational thinking skills. The research method used is research and development with three development phases: preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment. The research subjects consisted of 30 students from class VII at SMP High Scope in the limited trial, and 32 and 35 students from SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar in field tests 1 and 2, respectively. SMP High Scope was selected for the limited trial because its student characteristics are similar to those of SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar. In addition, SMP High Scope frequently uses Scratch in its informatics lessons, making it more suitable for identifying and addressing issues with the e-module before further testing in a more general environment. The revisions and feedback from the limited trial were then followed by field tests 1 and 2 at SMP Negeri 5 Denpasar to refine the e-module. The e-module characteristics include learning objectives, estimated time, and project-based materials. The integrated support features include Scratch, learning videos, and evaluation exercises. The e-module was assessed using validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires for practicality, and pre-test and post-test sheets for effectiveness. The results showed that the e-module was valid with a score of 4.00, indicating it was appropriate for use. The practicality, based on student response questionnaires, was 75.34%, and for teachers, it was 75.45%. Effectiveness was tested using a t-test with a significance value of 0.00 and an N-Gain score of 0.31, categorized as moderate.

Abstract

The non-coprime graph of the integer modulo group is a graph whose vertices represent the elements of the integer modulo group, excluding the identity element. Two distinct vertices are adjacent if and only if their orders are not relatively prime. This study explores two topological indices, the Hyper-Wiener index and the Szeged index, in the non-coprime graph of the integer modulo-n group. The results reveal that these indices are equal when the order is a prime power but differ when the order is the product of two distinct prime numbers. This research provides new insights into the patterns and characteristics of these indices, contributing to a broader understanding of the application of graph theory to abstract group structures.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (P2M) ini adalah Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru dalam mendesain media pembelajaran menggunakan  model  Dick  &  Carey  di  Kecamatan  Penebel.  Kegiatan  P2M  ini melibatkan 20 orang guru SD dan Kepala sekolah di Kecamatan Penebel yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan. Pelaksanaan kegiatannya, sebagai berikut: (1) Melaksanakan pelatihan desain media pembelajaran selama dua hari, meliputi: hari pertama pelatihan secara teoritis tentang desain media pembelajaran; hari kedua, pelatihan merancang beberapa contoh media pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan. (2)  Membimbing  guru  dalam  mengembangkan  media  pembelajaran  menggunakan model   Dick & Carey selama dua bulan. (3) Melakukan penilaian terhadap media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan oleh para guru. Hasil yang diperoleh dari seluruh kegiatan P2M ini adalah draf media pembelajaran sebanyak 6 jenis untuk mata pelajaran matematika SD dengan kualitas “baik”, yaitu: luas daerah trapesium 3 set , luas daerah jajar genjang 3 set, luas daerah layang-layang 3 set,  luas daerah belah ketupat 3 set, luas daerah segitiga 3 set, dan alat peraga blok pecahan 2 set. Tanggapan guru-guru terhadap  pelaksanaan  kegiatan  P2M  ini  adalah  “sangat  positif”.  Usulan  program lanjutan yang diajukan terkait dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan P2M ini adalah pendampingan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbantuan media eksploratif bagi guru-guru SD di Kecamatan Penebel. Hal ini dilakukan sebagai kegiatan lanjutan dari pengembangan draf bahan ajar yang telah dihasilkan pada kegiatan P2M ini

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (P2M) ini adalah Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru dalam mengimplementasikan  media pembelajaran inovatif pada sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Penebel. kegiatan P2M ini melibatkan 50 orang guru SD dan Kepala sekolah di Kecamatan Penebel yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan. Dari 50 orang guru yang ikut pelatihan, dipilih 3 orang yang didampingi dalam mengimplementasikan media inovatif pada kelas dan sekolah masing-masing. Pelaksanaan kegiatannya, sebagai berikut: (1) Melaksanakan pelatihan tentang cara mengimplementasikan  media pembelajaran matematika inovatif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran selama satu hari. (2) Membimbing guru dalam mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran inovatif dalam kelas yang sesungguhnya selama dua bulan. (3) Melakukan penilaian terhadap kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP dan mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran inovatif dalam kelas. Hasil yang diperoleh dari seluruh kegiatan P2M ini adalah Terbentuk 7 kelompok kerja guru (KKG) dengan masing-masing anggota sebanyak 4  sampai 9 orang, berdasarkan distribusi lokasi sekolah. Rata-rata kemampuan mengajar guru menggunakan media inovatif, berkualitas “baik”. RPP yang disusun guru, berkualitas “baik”. Rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan dari 6,2 sebelum pelaksanaan pembelajaran  berbantuan media menjadi 7,4 setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbantuan media. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah dicapai, para guru SD agar senantiasa berupaya secara terus  menerus mengembangkan kemampuan profesionalisme guru melalui kegiatan KKG, sehingga masalah-masalah yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas masing-masing dapat dicarikan solusinya secara bersama-sama

Abstract

Unit graph is the intersection of graph theory and algebraic structure, which can be seen from the unit graph representing the ring modulo n in graph form. Let R be a ring with nonzero identity. The unit graph of R, denoted by G(R), has its set of vertices equal to the set of all elements of R; distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if x + y is a unit of R. In this study, the unit graph, which is in the ring of integers modulo n, denoted by G(Zn). It turns out when n is 2^k, G(Zn) forms a complete bipartite graph for k∈N, whereas when n is prime, G(Zn) forms a complete (n+1)/2-partites graph. Additionally, the numerical invariants of the graph G(Zn), such as degree, chromatic number, clique number, radius, diameter, domination number, and independence number complement the characteristics of G(Zn) for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive e-module oriented towards computational thinking to enhance the problem-solving skills of 10th-grade high school students in the topic of number sequences and series. The e-module was developed using the Plomp model, which consists of four stages: preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, and test, evaluation, and revision. The e-module was developed using the Moodle platform with integration of H5P features and Scratch. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja, involving three 10th-grade science classes. Research instruments included validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and a problem-solving ability test. The results show that the developed e-module met the validity criteria with an average score of 3.7 based on expert assessment. The e-module also met the practicality criteria with an average student response score of 4.56 and teacher response score of 4.71. The effectiveness of the e-module was demonstrated through a significant improvement in students' problem-solving abilities (p-value = 2.8293e-6 < 0.05) with a large effect size (Cohen's d = |-1.23537|). In conclusion, the developed interactive e-module oriented towards computational thinking is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the topic of number sequences and series.

Abstract

AbstrakMerdeka belajar adalah kebijakan yang memiliki esensi kemerdekaan berpikir. Untuk mendukung merdeka belajar, maka Ujian Nasional (UN) dihapuskan dan diganti asesmen kompetensi minimum dan survei karakter. Asesmen kompetensi minimum meliputi literasi dan numerasi. Siswa diharuskan memiliki pemikiran kritis khususnya dalam menjawab soal literasi. Salah satu cara yang dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah dengan mengembangkan dan membiasakan pembelajaran yang berbasis masalah. Tetapi, kenyataannya guru jarang memberikan permasalahan kepada siswa, dan lebih mengutamakan materi di buku dan soal di lembar kerja siswa (LKS). Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 4 Dalung, untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan guru menyusun masalah dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu untuk mengetahui tanggapan guru terkait dengan penting atau tidaknya suatu masalah dalam pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan kuisioner. Diperoleh hasil bahwa semua guru menyatakan bahwa pemberian masalah kepada siswa penting dalam pembelajaran. Dari pengolahan data identifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi guru dalam menyusun masalah, diperoleh hasil yaitu belum terbiasanya guru menyusun masalah; pemikiran yang rumit dalam menyusun masalah; jarang menggunakan dan mengembangkan berbagai fitur edukasi online; guru di SD Negeri 4 Dalung kebanyakan adalah wali kelas yang mengampu semua mata pelajaran, sehingga kurang menguasai konsep beberapa mata pelajaran.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, berbasis masalah, literasi, merdeka belajar.AbstractMerdeka belajar (freedom of learning) is a policy that has the essence of freedom of thought. To support independent learning, the National Examination was eliminated, replaced by the minimum competency assessment and character survei. The minimum competency assessment includes literacy and numeracy. Students are required to demonstrate critical thinking skills, especially in answering literacy questions. One way that can be developed to improve critical thinking skills is by developing and getting used to problem-based learning. However, in reality teachers rarely give problems to students, and prioritize material in books and questions on student worksheets (LKS). The research was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Dalung, to identify teacher problems in developing problems in the learning process. In addition, to examine teacher responses related to the importance or not of a problem in learning. This study uses interviews and questionnaires to collect data. It was found that all teachers stated that giving an important problem in learning. From the identification of problems faced by teachers in formulating problems, the results obtained were that teachers were not accustomed to arranging problems; intricate thinking in problem structure; rarely use and develop various online educational features; most of the teachers at SD Negeri 4 Dalung are homeroom teachers who handle all subjects, so they do not master the concepts of several subjects.Keywords: critical thinking, problem-based, literacy, independent learning
