Abstract

Kesehatan anak usia sekolah dasar sangat dipengaruhi oleh pola hidup sehari-hari seperti kebiasaan makan, kebersihan diri, dan aktivitas fisik. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang kurang memahami pentingnya pola hidup sehat, sehingga rentan terhadap gangguan kesehatan seperti obesitas, kurang gizi, dan penyakit menular. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa sekolah dasar tentang pentingnya menjaga pola hidup sehat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif yang meliputi penyampaian materi interaktif, demonstrasi cuci tangan pakai sabun, senam bersama, kuis edukatif, serta refleksi komitmen sehat. Metode ini dipilih agar siswa dapat belajar sambil bermain dan langsung mempraktikkan kebiasaan hidup sehat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan 95% kegiatan edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang pentingnya hidup sehat. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi. Mereka aktif bertanya saat sesi penyampaian materi, semangat mengikuti simulasi cuci tangan. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif tidak hanya bagi siswa, tetapi juga mendorong sekolah untuk mendukung program pembiasaan hidup sehat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research aims to develop the CareCouns application based on Pancasila Student Profiles as a preventive measure against free association among students at UPT SPF SMPN 48 Makassar. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method by Borg and Gall, modified to the second revision stage. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews, analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative techniques. Findings show a significant need for interactive multimedia applications in guidance and counseling services. The CareCouns prototype includes features such as Guidelines, Home, Text, Video, X P5, Counselor, and Evo. The application was validated with material validity at 90% and media at 94%, and rated practical by teachers at 94% and students at 98%. The CareCouns application is effective as a counseling media tool to enhance understanding of free association and the values of Pancasila Student Profiles.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to develop students' assertive abilities, (2) Prototype of I-Care website media to develop students' assertive abilities, (3) Validity of I-Care website media to develop students' assertive abilities, and (4) Practicality of I-Care website media to develop students' assertive abilities. This research utilizes the Research and Development (RnD) method with an adaptation of the Borg and Gall model. The data analysis techniques applied include content analysis for qualitative data and descriptive analysis for quantitative data. The research results reveal that: (1) students need assertive information service media to prevent acts of sexual harassment, but until now there is no such service media at school. (2) Assertive information service media in the form of the I-Care Website is expected to be a solution for providing assertive information service media, (3) The assertive information service media developed has been validated by experts, and (4) This media shows results in the very practical category based on expert tests and small group trials. Therefore, the I-Care Website is considered very suitable as a supporting medium for assertive guidance services for students.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research aimed at testing hypotheses or theories through measurement and analysis of numerical data. The main goal of experimental research is to determine cause-and-effect relationships between the variables studied. Research in the form of Quasi Experimental Design uses methods that do not fully control the variables that influence the research results, but can still provide useful information about the cause-and-effect relationships between the variables studied. Based on the problem formulation: (1) What is the description of the use of Powtoon learning media among class III students at SD Negeri Region II, Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency? (2) What is the description of students' learning motivation before and after using Powtoon learning media in class III of Region II Public Elementary School, Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency? (3) Is there an effect of using Powtoon learning media on the learning motivation of class III students at SD Negeri Region II, Polewali District, Polewali Mandar Regency? Abstract

This research aims to (1) provide an overview of the school principal's academic supervision in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (2) provide an overview of teachers' work motivation in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (3) provide an overview of teachers' performance in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (4) analyze the influence of the school principal's academic supervision on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (5) analyze the influence of work motivation on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District; (6) analyze the combined influence of academic supervision and work motivation on the performance of teachers in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational research design. The study was conducted at five schools in Tamalatea District, Jeneponto Regency, namely UPT SMP Negeri 1 Tamalatea, UPT SMP Negeri 2, UPT SMP Negeri 3, UPT SMP Negeri 4 Tamalatea, and UPT SMP Negeri 5. The results show that: The school principal's academic supervision in Public Junior High Schools in Tamalatea District is rated very good by teachers and has a positive impact on their performance. Teachers' work motivation is also high, with slight variation, indicating a supportive professional development environment. Teachers' performance is in the good category, although some teachers are in the moderate and low categories. Academic supervision and work motivation play a significant role in improving the quality of teachers' performance. Academic supervision contributes 29.2% to teachers' performance, while work motivation contributes 47.9%. Multiple regression analysis shows that academic supervision and work motivation together have a significant influence of 49.7% on teachers' performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of school principal leadership in developing teacher professionalism at SMK Negeri Tapango, West Sulawesi. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The primary informants included the Principal, Vice Principals, and selected teachers. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and verification using source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that the principal of SMK Negeri Tapango applies a transformational leadership style, combined with a familial and collaborative approach. The principal acts as an inspirator, facilitator, and provides individual support for teachers’ professional growth. Professional development is carried out in a structured and sustainable manner through training, workshops, benchmarking activities, field mentoring, and professional learning communities. These strategies have effectively enhanced the teachers' pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, which in turn have improved their motivation and teaching quality. Supporting factors for successful professional development include government policy support, BOS (School Operational Assistance) funding, strong collegiality among teachers, and the availability of information technology. The main obstacles identified are limited ICT infrastructure, resistance from a minority of teachers to change, and high workloads. The principal addresses these challenges through adaptive approaches, collaborative solutions, and continuous evaluation. This study reinforces the relevance of transformational leadership theory in the context of vocational education and offers a model of best practice for teacher professional development in vocational high schools.

Abstract

The principal as a leader plays a role and is responsible for organizing, monitoring, fostering, and improving the teaching and learning process. The concept of democratic leadership style and principal competence has a role in improving teacher performance. This quantitative research was conducted to determine: First: Description of the principal's democratic leadership style; Second: Description of the principal's competence; Third: Description of teacher performance; Fourth: The influence of democratic leadership style on teacher performance; Fifth: The influence of principal competence on teacher performance; Sixth: The influence of democratic leadership style and principal competence on teacher performance. Data on the description and influence of democratic leadership style, principal competence and teacher performance were collected using a questionnaire instrument with a likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using multiple regression at a significance level of 5%. The results of the analysis show that (1) The majority of teachers gave a high rating to the principal's leadership style which reflects participation, open communication, and deliberative decision-making. This finding indicates that principals in the area have implemented democratic leadership principles consistently and effectively. (2) The principal's competence is in the very good category, with an average score of 66.44 out of a maximum of 75, or equivalent to a percentage of 88.58%. Most teachers gave a positive rating to the principal's ability to carry out his leadership role. (3) Teacher performance is in the very good category, with an average score of 64.34 out of a maximum of 74, or equivalent to a percentage of 86.94%. Most teachers are in the high score category. This indicates that teachers have good abilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process. (4) The insignificant influence of the principal's democratic leadership style on teacher performance with a significance value (> 0.05) of 0.537 with a calculated t of 0.619 < t table 1.97. (5) there is a significant influence of the principal's competence on teacher performance with a significance value (< 0.05) of 0.000 with a calculated t of 6.755 > t table 1.97. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi profesional guru dengan kinerja guru sekolah dasar di kecamatan Barebbo kabupaten Bone. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh guru sekolah dasar di kecamatan Barebbo kabupaten Bone yang berjumlah 40 guru. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 40 guru. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan mengetahui adanya nya pengaruh pembelajaran berdefrensiasi terhadap pembentukan budaya positif di Kelas V SD Negeri 38 Pao-Pao Kecamatan Malunda Kabupaten Majene. Pendekatan penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa Kelas V di SD Negeri 38 pao-Pao Kecamatan Malunda Kabupaten Majene yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 31 siswa. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah gambaran sebelum penerapan pembelajaran berdefrensiasi menunjukkan kategori sedang dan setelah penerapan pembelajaran berdefrensiasi menunjukkan kategori sangat tinggi dan budaya positif dapat digambarkan pada hasil belajar diperoleh yaitu pada pretest mendapatkan nilai sedang sedangkan pada posttest mendapatkan sangat tinggi serta penerapan pembelajaran berdefrensiasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pembentukan budaya positif khususnya di Kelas V SD Negeri 38 Pao-Pao kecamatan Malunda kabupaten Majene

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate a group guidance model based on traditional Mandar games to improve the social skills of junior high school students. The research was motivated by the observed decline in students’ social competencies, particularly in communication, cooperation, and empathy, as a consequence of increased reliance on digital technology and reduced face-to-face interaction in school settings. Traditional Mandar games were selected as the core medium of guidance because they embody local cultural values such as cooperation, respect, empathy, and sportsmanship, which are essential for social development. The study employed a research and development (R&D) approach adapted from the Borg and Gall model, simplified into five stages: needs analysis, model design, initial product development, limited field trials, and final revision. The participants consisted of 25 eighth-grade students at a public junior high school in Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi, selected purposively based on identified social skill difficulties. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, model practicality questionnaires, and social skills tests measuring cooperation, empathy, communication, and self-control. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative and quantitative techniques. The findings revealed that the developed model achieved a validity score of 86.4% (very valid), a practicality score of 89.2% (very practical), and demonstrated high effectiveness, as indicated by a significant increase in students’ social skills from pretest to posttest with a gain score of 0.78. These results indicate that the traditional Mandar game-based group guidance model is conceptually sound, easy to implement, and effective in enhancing students’ social skills. The study concludes that integrating local cultural wisdom into group guidance services provides a contextual, engaging, and sustainable approach to social skills development in schools.
