Abstract

This research aims to describe the mistake of vocational student in solving linier program question in term of conceptual and procedural understanding. The research was conducted at SMKN I Boyolangu Tulungagung. Subject was chosen based on the highest number of mistakes when completing linier program question. Data collection techniques in this research are test and interview. The instruments used in this research were the main instrument and supporting instrument. The main instrument is the researcher itself, while the supporting instrument are the test sheet and interview guidelines. To test the data validity in this research used time triangulation. Data analysis based on indicator of conceptual and procedural understanding that include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this study indicate that students who make mistake do not have a good conceptual and procedural understanding. This can be seen from subject cannot explain how to solve the question. In addition, subject cannot continue the answer because subject do not know the next step that must be done. Subject alsocan not explain the steps in solving linier program question. For this reason, teacher need to pay attention to students’ understanding when learning in class, especially conceptual and procedural understanding. In addition, teacher mut choose or design a conceptual learning design and procedural understanding to achieve the learning objective.

Abstract

Pendidikan Indonesia yang diduduki oleh Generasi Z kini telah bergeser dalam proses mendapatkan informasi dan belajar. Peserta didik generasi Z ini memiliki kecenderungan membaca dengan menggunakan gawai daripada buku materi. Selain meningkatkan hasil belajar, perubahan saat ini mendorong digitalisasi dan kebutuhan pendidik dan peserta didik untuk dapat menggunakan teknologi digital di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa baik e-LKPD berbasis lembar kerja langsung dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan paradigma pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada konten aljabar yang andal, bermanfaat, dan efisien. Penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan paradigma ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, and Evaluation) adalah metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Dua puluh siswa kelas tujuh di SMP Negeri 3 Watulimo berpartisipasi dalam uji coba produk. Metode analisis data meliputi uji-t berpasangan (dependant sample t-test), uji normalitas, dan perhitungan n-Gain. (1) E-LKPD dinilai sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase 93%; (2) E-LKPD dinilai sangat praktis dengan rata-rata persentase 80,5%; dan (3) E-LKPD dinilai efektif dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) pada pasangan data prates dan pascates yaitu 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Rata-rata hasil prates dan pascates ditemukan berbeda, yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan e-LKPD berbasis liveworksheet berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada konten aljabar.. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan mengecek kembali fitur dan jaringan internet stabil sebelum mengakses link e-LKPD, supaya semua fitur dan elemen dalam e-LKPD dapat ditampilkan pada layar.

Abstract

Schools are responsible for providing students with the skills needed to communicate ideas, analyze problems using complex data, respond to information, solve problems methodically, and use concepts and facts correctly. In reality, Indonesian students still have relatively low levels of advanced thinking skills. Program Results With a score of 379 for mathematics, 398 for science, and 371 for reading, Indonesia is ranked 68th in the 2022 International Student Assessment (PISA) announced on December 5, 2023. To improve critical thinking skills about reliable, practical, and efficient probability content, this study aims to test how effectively video content can be learned by utilizing the Problem-Based Learning model and scaffolding techniques. The research approach is based on the Borg and Gall paradigm. The product trial involved 34 grade X students from SMKN 2 Tulungagung. Data analysis techniques include paired t-tests (dependent sample t-tests), normality tests, and N-Gain calculations. The learning video was assessed as (1) very valid with an average percentage of 94.56%, (2) very practical with an average percentage of 95.05%, and (3) effective with Sig. value based on research findings. (2-tailed), especially 0.001 < 0.05, on the pre-test and post-test data pairs, indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The difference in the average scores of the pre-test and post-test indicated that the use of learning videos in the PBL model with the scaffolding method was proven to have an impact on improving students' high-level thinking skills regarding content on the probability of events.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is mathematics that found in the culture. The purpose of this research is to explore mathematical concepts in Gajah Mada Batik’s Motif Sekar Jagad Tulungagung. The research method used is qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques used library studies, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, conclusion. Checking the data validity is done by extending the observation, increasing perseverance, using reference material, member check. The result of this research, in Gajah Mada batik’s there are mathematical concepts in the form of two-dimensional figure, transformation geometry, angles, and line. The two-dimensional figure found in this batik is parallelogram, ellipse, rhombus. The transformation geometry that found in this batik is reflection. While the angles and line that found in this batik are obtuse, parallel line, opposite angle, upfront angle, opposite interior angle, opposite outside angle, upfront interior angle, upfront outside angle.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam kegiatan belajar, berpikir secara kreatif sangat penting bagi siswa, karena mereka diharapkan dapat memahami, menguasai, dan menyelesaikan masalah yang mereka hadapi. Namun, pada kenyataannya cara berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah masih tergolong rendah, sebab guru belum secara khusus memfokuskan pengembangan kreatifitas dalam pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pemecahan masalah. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu perbedaan gender. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kreatif siswa dalam memecahkan masalah PtLSV berdasarkan gender. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 1 siswa laki-laki dan 1 siswa perempuan kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Gondang. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes proses berpikir kreatif dan wawancara. teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes proses berpikir kreatif dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data yaitu menggunakan metode triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, proses berpikir kreatif siswa laki-laki dimulai dari mensintesis ide, membangun ide, merencanakan penerapan, dan terakhir menerapkan ide. Proses berpikir kreatif siswa perempuan dimulai dari mensintesis ide. Setelah tahap membangun ide, dalam tahapan ini subjek cenderung kembali memahami soal yang diberikan. Proses selanjutnya yaitu perencanaan penerapan, namun dalam hal ini subjek masih ragu-ragu sehingga sering memahami soal kembali. Tahap terakhir yaitu penerapan ide, subjek mampu memperoleh jawaban yang benar. Dengan adanya penelitian ini guru diharapkan mengetahui proses berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Selain itu, siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan dalam memecahkan masalah, mengemukakan ide-ide baru serta meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar yang lebih tinggi. Abstract

Another fact that was discovered was the low average daily mathematics test scores in one of the State Vocational Schools. This fact influences mathematics learning and the greatest difficulty is carrying out mathematical communication and problem solving on the questions given. The following is the average value of daily tests on Opportunity material for the last three years at SMKN. To respond to the problem of students' low mathematical communication skills, the enormous demand for progress in science and technology, it is very necessary to make changes to the learning process, especially the selection of appropriate mathematics teaching materials. One example is developing an Android-based teaching material or mobile learning. The use of smartphones in learning allows students to carry out learning activities by accessing learning materials, directions and information anywhere and at any time without limited space and time. Mobile Learning also overcomes time constraints and is able to train students to learn independently from various sources. Students whose learning received procedural scaffolding with the help of smartphones were better than students who received conventional learning. This mobile learning teaching material is said to be effective based on student response questionnaire data and mathematical communication test results data obtained. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 95% with the criteria of being very effective for use in learning. Meanwhile, the percentage of learning completion results was 98% with a very high learning completion interval. The use of mobile learning teaching materials has an influence on students' mathematical communication skills. The average score of the experimental class students' mathematical communication ability test results in each school was higher than the control class. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 1 Rejotangan was 85.00 while the average score for the control class was 76.15. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 1 Boyolangu was 85.64, while the average score for the control class was 78.62. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 2 Tulungagung was 82.79 while the average score for the control class was 75.99. After comparison and analysis, it was concluded that there was a difference in the test results of students' mathematical communication skills between the classes given the action and the control class.

Abstract

Penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SDN I Geger masih ada beberapa kendala diantaranya penyesuaian pembelajaran yang berpihak pada murid, dan keterbatasan kemampuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, perlu melakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat di SDN 1 Geger untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Metode penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan yaitu kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, evaluasi dan keberlanjutan. Hasil program pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran sebesar 81%, prosentase guru yang menghasilkan Produk media pembelajaran dengan aplikasi MMO sebesar 80, 5%. peningkatan pemahaman guru terkait pembelajaran yang berpihak pada murid sebesar 80,2%, dan prosentase guru yang menghasilkan modul Ajar dengan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dengan pendekatan onto semiotik sebesar 80,8%. Hasil pengabdian sangat penting untuk mitra dalam rangka peningkatan kompetensi guru di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the intuitive thinking skills of junior high school students in solving geometric problems based on their learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through a learning style questionnaire to categorize students, problem-solving tests on geometric shapes, and in-depth interviews to explore students' intuitive thinking abilities. The findings indicate that students with a visual learning style exhibit stronger intuitive thinking skills compared to those with auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. Visual learners provided clear and well-structured answers aligned with intuitive thinking indicators such as Catalytic Inference, Power of Synthesis, and Common Sense. Conversely, auditory learners tended to give less detailed answers, although they could identify relevant information. Kinesthetic learners offered brief and less detailed responses, particularly in specifying measurements and units in their calculations. These findings underscore the importance of understanding students' diverse learning styles to optimize mathematics teaching strategies, particularly in enhancing problem-solving skills and intuitive thinking.

Abstract

Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan menuntut siswa untuk bersikap aktif, kreatif dan inovatif. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya menunjukkan adanya kekurangan pada praktek pembelajaran. Salah satu pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa aktif adalah pembelajaran kooperatif. Dalam pembelajaran kooperatif siswa saling berinteraksi satu sama lain dalam kelompok untuk bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Interaksi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu interaksi belajar siswa dalam tugas dan interaksi siswa di luar tugas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIII-A SMP N I Modo Lamongan dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Data interaksi belajar siswa dalam kelompok diperoleh dengan lembar observasi dan rekaman handycam. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif yang terjadi dalam menyampaikan ide atau pendapat yaitu sebesar 34,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 32,3% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan yang disertai dengan penjelasan sebesar 15,6% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,6% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan tanpa disertai dengan penjelasan sebesar 25,0% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,6% untuk kelompok 2 dan interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam meminta bantuan sebesar 25,0% untuk kelompok 1 dan 26,5% untuk kelompok 2.

Abstract

This research aims to describe student’s level of creativity that have low mathematic disposition in math problem solving. This researchis qualitative research. Researcher as the main instrument. While instruments that use in this study are student’s mathematic disposition questionnaire, test of mathematic problems solving and guidelines for interviews. Data collection are questionnaire, test, and interview. The analysis data used are data reduction, data displayed, and conclusions. The use triangulation to check the validity of the data. The results of this research that the level of creativity of elementary school students who have a low disposition is the level of creativity 0. For that required a learning strategy that can improve students' mathematical disposition in order to solve math problems. So mathematical disposition affects the ability of elementary students in solving mathematical problems.
