Abstract

Interest is one of the important factors in supporting students' understanding and success in learning. With the interest, students can more easily learn and understand the material conveyed by the teacher because students have an interest in teaching materials delivered by the teacher. However, the reality in the field is that there are students who have low interest in learning, there are still many students who do not pay attention to the teacher, are not interested in the lesson, do not like the lesson and lack of participation in learning. The interest in learning is the tendency of individuals to have pleasure without any coercion so that it can cause changes in knowledge, skills and behavior and it is thought that one of the factors that influence it is peer interaction. This research is a descriptive correlational research with quantitative methods. The total sample of 226 students was selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research instruments used were peer interaction questionnaires and student learning interest questionnaires. The results of the study revealed that (1) peer interaction of students in Padang State Vocational High School 6 was in the good category. (2) students 'interest in learning at SMK Negeri 6 Padang is in a good category (3) there is a significant relationship between peer interaction with students' interest in learning at SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Based on research findings, it is recommended that school counselors / counselors be able to provide guidance and counseling services, namely information services and individual counseling services in order to help students who have problems with interest in learning

Abstract

AbstrakPerilaku menyontek adalah suatu kecurangan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik ketika mengerjakan tugas sekolah, pekerjaan rumah dan ujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan kontrol diri siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan perilaku menyontek siswa, dan (3) menguji signifikansi hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku menyontek  pada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis deskriptif korelasional. Subjek penelitian adalah 267 siswa SMKN 1 Batusangkar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner kontrol diri dan kuisioner perilaku menyontek yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program SPSS for windows 20. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) kontrol diri pada siswa berada pada kategori cukup dengan persentase 62,47%, (2) perilaku menyontek siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 77,08%, (3) dan terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku menyontek pada siswa dengan koefisien korelasi -0,363 dan taraf signifikansi 0,000.Kata Kunci: Kontrol Diri, Perilaku Menyontek Siswa

Abstract

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Guguak masih rendah sehingga ini menjadi alasan untuk melakukan penelitian ini. Siswa cendrung pasif dan tidak memahami soal terlebih dahulu serta tidak membuat perencanaan dalam menyelesaikan soal dengan langsung menulis jawaban. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS).Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gugus III Kecamatan Guguak. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 07 Guguak VIII Koto dan siswa kelas V SDN 11 Guguak VIII Koto Kecamatan Guguak. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji T dan anova dua arah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model TPS lebih baik dari yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. 2) Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan motivasi belajar tinggi dan rendah yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model TPS lebih baik dari yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. 3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan komunikasi matematis

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pada rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SDN Gugus I Kecamatan Payakumbuh Barat. Sementara itu, kemampuan representasi matematis memiliki peranan penting dalam membantu siswa memecahkan masalah matematis. Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan representasi yang baik maka akan baik pula dalam memecahkan masalah matematis. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan pendekatan open ended. Penelitian ini juga melihat apakah gender berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gugus I Kecamatan Payakumbuh Barat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas Va dan Vb SDN 28 Payakumbuh kecamatan Payakumbuh Barat. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji anova dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan pendekatan open ended lebih baik dari yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. 2) Kemampuan representasi matematis siswa laki-laki tidak lebih baik dari siswa perempuan. 3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan gender dalam mempengaruhi kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang implementasi pendidikan sebagai hak asasi manusia. Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) adalah hak asasi yang mendasar yang mengacu pada harkat dan martabat ciptaan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa yang dibawa sejak lahir dan tidak dapat dilanggar atau dihapuskan oleh siapapun. Pendidikan sebagai hak asasi manusia berarti bahwa setiap orang berhak atas supremasi hukum tanpa diskriminasi. Dengan demikian, negara berkewajiban untuk melindungi, menghormati, dan menegakkan haknya atas pendidikan, memantau setiap pelanggaran yang terjadi, dan mengadili pelanggaran tersebut secara hukum. Berdasarkan UU No. 20 tahun 2003 tentang sistem pendidikan nasional terdapat kewajiban pemerintah dalam memenuhi hak atas pendidikan. Kewajiban tersebut mengimplikasikan bahwa negara bertanggungjawab atas terlaksananya penyelenggaraan pendidikan dasar yang wajib dan secara gratis bagi anak usia sekolah. Hal ini juga sesuai dengan pasal 13 dan 14 ICESCR. Kewajiban tersebut juga mengamanatkan baik pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah bertanggungjawab dalam upaya mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa.

Abstract

This article will begin with an overview of REBT theory before moving on to a discussion of the ethics governing the field of psychology. This paper will try to answer the question whether Ellis's (1955) REBT theory can be used independently during therapy sessions, or whether it requires a combination of ethics and values to provide the best service to clients or not. Ethical considerations must be applied to the application of theory to improve it and make it more useful in therapy sessions, therefore it is important to determine how well theory can function on its own while still meeting the needs of its clients.

Abstract

This research background is based on preliminary study of SMAN 15 Padang students. the first discovery showed there were many students has difficulty in interpersonal communication; in message delivery or unclear information and inproper information receiving, the delivered information hurt other people, and there was also different mind and opinion which caused conflict, and less of attitude implementery while comunicating. this research is aimed to (1) disclose the differences of interpersonal communication difficulty in experimental group students before and after joining group counseling using transactional analysis approach, (2) disclose differences of interpersonal communication difficulties analisis transaksional control grup students before and after joining group counseling,  and (3) reveal differences in interpersonal communication difficulties of experimental group students who follow group counseling using a transactional analysis approach with group counseling without special treatment. This research used quantitative approach, with experimental method, while the chosen research design is quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group design as the model. There were 10 groups of experiment samples and 10 people for group control. The sample used purposive sampling. The instrument that used for the research is a likert scale model, the data was analyzed by using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Samples with SPSS 26.00 version. The result of research showed that (1) there were significant interpersonal communication difficulties in experimental  group of students before and after group counseling treatment by using transactional analysis approach, (2) there were significant differences of interpersonal communication difficulties in experimental students group before and after group counseling treatment without special treatment, (3) there were significant differences of interpersonal communication difficulties in experimental students group which given counseling treatment by using transactional analysis approach and without special treatment. To conclude, group counseling by using transactional analysis approach is more effective to  decrease students' interpersonal communication difficulties.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kajian tentang pemanfaatan media e-learning sebagai salah satu bentuk dari modernisasi dalam bidang pendidikan. modernisasi merupakan sesuatu yang alamiah terjadi dalam peradaban manusia dimana hal ini terjadi dikarenakan kehidupan manusia yang terus bergerak maju, modernisasi membawa banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia salah satunya adalah mudahnya mencari informasi dan hal ini ditandai dengan perkembangan yang begitu pesat pada bidang teknologi informasi, dunia pendidikan tentunya tidak dapat lepas dari modernisasi ini, perkembangan teknologi informasi juga mempermudah dunia pendidikan, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan media e-learning sebagai salah satu media dalam menjalankan proses belajar mengajar. E-learning merupakan proses pembelajaran yang berbasis elektronik, media yang digunakan adalah jaringan komputer, perkembangan jaringan komputer dapat dikembangkan dengan berbasis web, dan kemudian dikembangkan ke jaringan komputer yang semakin luas yaitu internet, hal ini menunjukan sistem e-learning berbasis web dapat menjadi lebih interaktif, informasi yang didapat akan lebih cepat dan nyata, Pemanfaatan e-learning sebagai salah satu media dalam pembelajaran tentunya sangat mempermudah dalam proses belajar mengajar, namun terdapat pula dampak-dampak negatif dari penggunaan e-learning sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata kunci: E-learning; Modernisasi; Pendidikan Absctrak This article aims to describe a study on the use of e-learning media as a form of modernization in the field of education. modernization is something that naturally occurs in human civilization where this happens because human life continues to move forward, modernization brings many changes in human life, one of which is the ease of finding information and this is marked by rapid developments in the field of information technology, the world of education. Of course, it cannot be separated from this modernization, the development of information technology also facilitates the world of education, namely by utilizing e-learning media as one of the media in carrying out the teaching and learning process. e-learning is an electronic-based learning process, the media used is a computer network, the development of computer networks can be developed on a web-based basis, and then developed into an increasingly wider computer network, namely the internet, this shows that web-based e-learning systems can become more sophisticated. interactive, the information obtained will be faster and more real, the use of e-learning as a medium in learning is certainly very easy in the teaching and learning process, but there are also negative impacts from the use of e-learning as a e-learning medium. Abstract

This paper explores the critical importance of guidance and counseling facilities in schools for optimal service delivery. With schools often overlooking the necessity of these facilities, it is imperative to shed light on the consequential deficiency in the delivery of such services, negatively impacting the academic trajectory and life skills development of students. The literature review methodology employed in this study delves into the conceptualization of guidance and counseling, the essential resources required, and the significant role of school administrators and BK (guidance and counseling) teachers in ensuring these facilities are available. The findings reveal the paramount importance of data collection instruments, data storage devices, service delivery tools, and BK room equipment for effective guidance and counseling. Furthermore, this study underscores the legislative mandates calling for the provision of these resources. Ultimately, this paper argues that optimal facilities, strategic planning, and collaboration between all school personnel are key to the successful implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. The insights derived from this research are beneficial for school administrators, BK teachers, and policymakers, contributing to the enhancement of educational outcomes and the overall student experience.

Abstract

In following the learning process at school, a student does not always get good learning results, sometimes the results obtained are not in accordance with the expected results. In the implementation of the learning process, two student characters will appear, namely positive student characters who are actively involved in learning activities and negative student characters who are passive and commit fraudulent acts in learning activities such as cheating or imitating assignments and peer tests. Cheating is copying answers, trading in exam answers, viewing exams illegally, turning in someone else's work, soliciting other students' answers and changing record grades. This study aims to describe students' cheating behavior and the teacher's role in handling it. The population of this study included 974 students of SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek, the sample size was 252 people, obtained by random sampling technique. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative research methods. Data was collected by administering a questionnaire, and analyzed using percentages. The results of the study revealed: 1) The findings of the study regarding cheating behavior at SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek were generally in the moderate category with a frequency of 184 and a percentage of 73.02%. This means that more than half of the students who are the sample of the study still practice cheating behavior, either independently planned, individually opportunistic, socially active or socially passive. 2) The role of the counseling teacher in handling cheating behavior is provided with guidance and counseling services such as information services, educational services individual counseling, group counseling services, group counseling services and content mastery services.
