Abstract

A principal has an important role in establishing student character because a principal is authorized to put policies and rules related to the development of educational institutions. The principal rule is to lead, to guide and to counsel the teachers and staff, so that they can carry out their duties properly. The teacher as an educator and facilitator is an extension of the principal in developing student character. The phenomenon of juvenile delinquency occurred recently is a proof that at this time the spiritual mentality of young generation still weak. Therefore, it is very important to encourage religious values, character and cultural building to the students at the early stage/age.

Abstract

This article discusses government policies to strengthen education quality assurance in Islamic educational institutions. This is library research, with documentary data collection methods analysis using content or content analysis. The results showed that the education quality policy refers to eight SNP: Content Standards, Process Standards, Graduate Competency Standards, Educator and Education Personnel Standards, Management Standards, Facilities and Infrastructure Standards, Financing Standards, and Assessment Standards. Of the eight National Education Standards, each has its policy. To measure the implementation of quality standardization nationally, which includes 8 (eight) national standards of education, measuring the achievement of reference standards and evaluating the quality of education is carried out on educational units/programs through 1). Education Unit/Program Self Evaluation (EDS); 2). Monitoring of Education Units/Programs by Local Government (MSPD); 3). Accreditation; 4). Certification; 5). National Examination; and 6). Database and Information Data Collection. The conclusion of the quality assurance system policy is divided into SPMI and SPME. The internal campus carries out SPMI, while SPME is external if the school is BAN SM and the college is BAN-PT and LAM.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the characteristics of organizational culture based on local wisdom in an early childhood education institution in Probolinggo Regency, East Java. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. In order to get an overview of the characteristics of the local wisdom-based organizational culture, the researchers conducted direct observations and documented activities at the institution. Interviews were conducted with principals, teachers, and guardians of students. The results showed that the characteristics of local wisdom-based organizational culture developed in schools include; child-friendly school-based women's leadership, the dual role of a teacher, strong work ethic, and religion. This study implies that developing organizational culture characteristics based on local wisdom can give complete trust to the community in these organizational institutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi strategik khususnya berkaitan dengan program-program yang dilaksanakan dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum tahfidzul qur’an di yayasan el-rahmah surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kualitatif dengan studi kasus. teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Analisis data melalui tiga tahap, yakni kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah program pelaksanaan kurikulum tahfidzul qur’an yang dilakukan oleh Yayasan El-Rahmah Surabaya meliputi meliputi TPQ, membaca bin nadzor, Tahfidz, Tasmi’ dan Pasca Tahfidz. Proram TPQ secara gari besar dilaksanakan dengan tiga sesi, yakni TPQ Pagi, TPQ Siang dan TPQ Sore dengan jilid 1-5. Program membaca bin nadzor dilaksanakan setiap pagi dan sore dengan mewajibkan santri khatam 60 kali. Program Tahfidz dibagi menjadi kelas kecil sesuai dengan juz masing-masing dengan sistem hafalan satu halaman perhari. Kegiatan dalam bentuk setoran antar teman, murojaah bersama guru, membaca bersama, istima’. Sementara itu untuk program tasmi’ dilaksanakan setiap santri menghafal 5 Juz. Setiap santri wajib melaksanakan 10 kali Tasmi’ sebelum di wisuda tahfidz dengan disaksikan oleh 2 teman, 2 orang tua dan 1 guru. Program pasca tahfidz dilaksanakan dalam bentuk hafalan kitab hadis baik arba’in An-Nawawi dan Riyadhus Sholihin. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menghafal 1-3 hadist tergantung panjang dan pendeknya hadist. Kata Kunci: Implementasi strategik, Kurikulum, Tahfidz Al-Qur’an

Abstract

This article examines the integrative paradigm in the management of human resources (HR) of Islamic education, which combines the values of monotheism and professional competence. The research method used is library research, with the process including analyzing various literature related to human resource management, Islamic education, and integrative paradigms. The results of the study show that the integrative paradigm emphasizes the development of human beings, namely individuals with a balance of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence. The application of this paradigm involves the integration of Islamic values such as trust, justice, and deliberation in every aspect of HR management, from recruitment to career development. Challenges in the implementation of this paradigm include resistance to change and lack of understanding of the concept of integration. The solutions offered include comprehensive training and development, as well as the formation of an organizational culture that supports Islamic values. This article concludes that the integrative paradigm is a relevant approach to manage Islamic education human resources in the era of globalization, with the aim of improving the quality of educators and education personnel with noble character. This study formulates three fundamental principles of the integrative HR paradigm, namely the foundation of monotheism, morality-based professionalism, and orientation to Kamil people. Practically, these principles serve as a strategic guide for education managers to transform human resource management from just an administrative function to a process of building superior character and noble character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam dapat mengembangkan literasi digital kritis sehingga mampu menangkal radikalisme dalam media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini adalah metode literatur review. Tekhnik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menemukan data melalui bahan bacaan seperti buku, artikel jurnal, materi website yang tersedia. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh terkait dengan literasi digital kritis yang diterapkan dalam kurikulum berbasis kompetensi Pendidikan Islam adalah: 1) Pendidikan Islam dapat dijadikan sebagai pondasi moral dan etika dalam penggunaan media digital, 2) Literasi digital kritis dapat dijadikan sebagai alat untuk mengimpelementasikan nilai-nilai Islam yang telah diajarkan, 3) Pencegahan radikalisme dapat di lakukan dengan menggunakan kompetensi literasi digital kritis, 4) Literasi digital kritis dapat membentuk muslim yang moderat, 5) Terjadinya integrasi antara kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dengan Pendidikan Islam. Literasi digital kritis dalam kurikulum berbasis kompetensi dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara yakni: identifikasi konten, verifikasi secara valid, pencegahan supaya tidak terpapar ideologi ekstrim, membangun narasi tandingan, dan memiliki kesadaran akan keamanan akun media digital.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dimensions of the spiritual experiences of the congregants of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat under the guidance of Ulul Albab at the Integrated Islamic Boarding School Daru Ulil Albab, Nganjuk, as well as to analyze the influence of teachings and the practice of dhikr on changes in congregants' behavior. The approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological research type, conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and verification using source triangulation. The research findings indicate that the spiritual experiences of the followers of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Order are reflected in five main aspects: self-transformation, inner peace, awareness of always remembering Allah, consistency in worship, and the ability to maintain a balance between spirituality and worldly life. The practice of dhikr, especially dhikr nafi isbat and ismu zat, serves as the main means that fosters tranquility, enhances self-control, and strengthens discipline in worship. These findings align with William James' theory of spiritual experience, particularly regarding the noetic, ineffability, transiency, and passivity aspects, and are relevant to Max Weber's theory of social action, which shows that the behavior of the followers is influenced by a combination of value-rationality and instrumental rationality. This study affirms that the practices of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Order play an important role in shaping the spiritual depth and behavioral changes of its followers.   Keywords: Spiritual Experience, Sufi Order, Qadiriyah and Naqshbandiyah, Dhikr, Social Action

Abstract

Digital transformation in the world of education requires madrasas to adapt to technological developments, one of which is through the implementation of digital libraries. This article discusses the implementation of a web-based digital library at MAN 1 Jombang with the aim of increasing student literacy while addressing various library management challenges. Activities are carried out by involving librarians, teachers and students in planning, implementation and evaluation. The results of the service show that the digital library provides easy access to collections via personal devices and increases student involvement in literacy activities. The challenges that arise are limited internet networks and the number of digital collections. The solutions taken include providing a more stable LAN network, regular collection updates, and involving students and teachers in determining collection needs. With this strategy, the digital library at MAN 1 Jombang is able to provide optimal services, strengthen literacy culture, and support technology-based learning. This activity shows that collaboration between stakeholders can strengthen the function of digital libraries not only as a collection provider, but also as a means of sustainable literacy development in the madrasah environment.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam administrasi dan layanan akademik di dunia pendidikan. Raport Digital Madrasah (RDM) sebagai inovasi yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Agama bertujuan mempercepat, meningkatkan akurasi, dan transparansi pengelolaan nilai siswa secara real time bagi kepala madrasah, guru, dan orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan RDM di MAN 1 Blitar serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan strategi optimalisasi penggunaannya agar layanan akademik lebih efisien dan berkualitas. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), penelitian ini melibatkan guru, wali kelas, dan operator dalam identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemanfaatan RDM mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan nilai, akurasi data, dan transparansi. Namun, kendala teknis seperti gangguan jaringan dan keterbatasan kompetensi pengguna masih menjadi tantangan utama. Pelatihan berkala dan peningkatan infrastruktur menjadi rekomendasi penting untuk mendukung kesinambungan transformasi digital di madrasah. RDM tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi layanan akademik tetapi juga memperkuat kolaborasi dan budaya kerja digital di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam tata kelola pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan penting di era industri 4.0, termasuk bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti pesantren yang masih menghadapi keterbatasan akses dan pemahaman teknologi informasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk menjawab permasalahan pengelolaan data pendidikan di Pesantren Subulussalam Tulungagung yang belum optimal dalam penggunaan Education Management Information System (EMIS). Program pendampingan ini diselenggarakan oleh Mahasiswa Program Magister Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung dengan pendekatan workshop partisipatif yang dipadukan dengan praktik langsung di lapangan. Sebanyak delapan orang pengelola dan operator pesantren terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan ini, yang meliputi pelatihan input data santri, validasi mutasi antar lembaga, serta pelaporan berbasis sistem EMIS versi 4.0. Evaluasi hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan teknis operator dalam mengelola data digital, dengan tingkat keberhasilan penerapan mencapai 85% pada tahap akhir pendampingan. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan partisipasi tinggi dan antusiasme kuat dari pengurus pesantren. Hasil kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan teknis yang terstruktur dan partisipatif mampu meningkatkan kapasitas digital lembaga pendidikan Islam, memperkuat akuntabilitas data, serta mempercepat integrasi pelaporan pendidikan berbasis sistem nasional.
