Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis struktur dan kaidah kebahasaan teks eksplanasi yang ditulis oleh siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Tanjuang Baru, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, pada tahun pembelajaran 2022/2023. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa/siswi kelas VIII. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan dokumen hasil penugasan yang diberikan oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia kepada siswa untuk menulis teks eksplanasi. Dokumen tersebut kemudian dipinjam oleh peneliti dari guru Bahasa Indonesia. Tahapan selanjutnya adalah membaca dan mengklasifikasikan data, lalu memasukkan data ke dalam tabel analisis teks eksplanasi sesuai dengan struktur dan kebahasaannya. Dari 20 data yang dianalisis, 18 siswa (90%) dapat menulis teks eksplanasi dengan struktur yang tepat. Namun, 2 siswa (10%) tidak dapat menulis dengan benar. Dari 20 teks yang ditulis, hanya 7 siswa (35%) yang menggunakan ketiga kebahasaan teks eksplanasi, yaitu konjungsi kausalitas, kronologis, dan EYD. Sebanyak 13 siswa (65%) tidak menggunakan ketiga kebahasaan tersebut.

Abstract

The background to this research is that technological developments are increasingly rapid in human life in various fields, one of which is education. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D). The development model used in this research is a 4-D model consisting of four stages, namely: 1) define, 2) design, 3) develop, and 4) disseminate. This research used a questionnaire instrument data collection technique which was distributed to class VIII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Based on the results of the student needs questionnaire analysis, the results showed that 83% of students needed digital learning media. There are 3 aspects in the research questionnaire, namely student needs in the learning process aspect which obtained a percentage of 84%, student needs in the learning media aspect 84%, and student needs in the teaching material content aspect 80%. The average percentage result for all aspects is 83%, so it falls into the "very feasible" category. From the results of the analysis of the student needs questionnaire, it was concluded that researchers needed to develop learning media in the form of interactive e-books based on local wisdom.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the use of diction and conjunctions in procedural texts written by students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research is qualitative in nature, using a descriptive method. The data for this research consists of qualitative data in the form of diction and conjunctions used by the students in procedural texts. The data source for this research is the procedural texts written by students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency. The researcher is the instrument for this research. The data collection technique used is documentation. The data validation technique used in this research is triangulation. From the 29 research data, a total of 3,002 instances of diction were found, consisting of 2,753 instances of accurate diction usage and 249 instances of inaccurate diction usage. The procedural texts written by students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency tend to be constructed with structured diction, indicating that the students have a good command of appropriate diction. Secondly, the research found a total of 423 instances of conjunctions from the 29 data, consisting of 363 instances of accurate conjunction usage and 60 instances of inaccurate conjunction usage. The procedural texts written by students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency tend to be constructed with structured conjunctions, indicating that the students have a good command of appropriate conjunctions, especially in their writing. Therefore, students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency tend to use standard diction and conjunctions that are not yet accurate in writing procedural texts.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat dalam kehidupan manusia di berbagai macam bidang, salah satunya pada bidang pendidikan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (RD). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4-D terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu: 1) define, 2) design, 3) develop, dan 4) disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data instrumen angket yang disebarkan kepada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket kebutuhan siswa, mendapatkan hasil bahwa 83% siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran digital. Terdapat 3 aspek pada angket penelitian, yaitu kebutuhan siswa dalam aspek proses pembelajaran memperoleh presentase 84%, kebutuhan siswa dalam aspek media pembelajaran 84%, dan kebutuhan siswa dalam aspek isi bahan ajar 80%. Hasil rata-rata presentase seluruh aspek, sebesar 83% sehingga masuk ke dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Dari hasil analisis angket kebutuhan siswa, disimpulkan perlunya peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa e-book interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujaun menjelaskan proses ekranisasi pada novel 172 Days karya Nadzira Shafa ke dalam film 172 Days disutradarai oleh Hadrah Daeng Ratu. Serta implementasinya pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif komperatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah novel dan film 172 Days. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi dengan menggunakan human instrument. Teknik penyajian data adalah teknik membaca, menonton, dan mencatat. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil Ekranisasi novel ke dalam film 172 Days terdapat penciutan, penambahan, dan perubahan variasi pada alur, tokoh, dan latar. Penciutan atau pemotongan menghasilkan 9 data, penambahan menghasilkan 14 data, dan perubahan variasi menghasilakan 2 data yang berfokus pada perbuahan variasi alur. Kajian ekranisasi dalam penelitian ini dapat diimplikasikan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada materi novel. Materi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan, yaitu unsur intrinsik dan ektrinsik, dan unsur kebahasaan seperti majas, ungkapan, dan peribahasa.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using interactive e-books based on local wisdom with a project based learning approach in learning news text reading skills in class VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang. This research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design involving two classes, namely an experimental class that uses interactive e-books and a control class that uses Ministry of Education and Culture books. Data was obtained through pretest and posttest tests which were measured using the N-Gain Score test. The research results showed that the average N-Gain Score for the experimental class reached 71.10%, which was included in the quite effective category, while the control class only reached 45.61%, which was in the moderate category. These findings indicate that interactive e-books based on local wisdom are more effective in improving students' reading skills compared to Kemendikbud books. The advantage of interactive e-books lies in the integration of multimedia elements and local wisdom which makes learning more interesting, contextual and relevant to students' lives. The PjBL approach also makes a significant contribution in training students' critical, analytical and collaborative thinking skills. This research recommends further development of digital-based learning media to support educational success in the modern era.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan struktur dan kebahasaan dalam teks cerpen karya siswa kelas XI MAS Diniyyah Pasia Kecamatan Ampek Angkek Agam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks cerpen siswa kelas XI MAS Diniyyah Pasia Kecamatan Ampek Angkek Agam yang berjumlah 20 teks cerpen. Teknik pengabsahan data yang digunakan adalah teknik uraian rinci. Hasil temuan dari 20 teks cerpen yang telah dianalisis, secara umum siswa tidak menggunakan keenam struktur teks cerpen. Selanjutnya, dari segi kebahasaan, siswa lebih dominan menggunakan majas perbandingan dan tidak satu pun ditemukan teks yang mengandung majas penegasan. Lalu, ditemukan juga 15 teks cerpen yang memiliki kesalahan dalam penggunaan kata depan. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI MAS Diniyyah Pasia Kecamatan Ampek Angkek Agam belum mampu menggunakan struktur teks dengan lengkap.

Abstract

This research stems from the problem of learning poetry writing skills that still focus on completing tasks sourced from books. The dominance of the teacher's role in learning also results in a lack of opportunities for students to actively participate. In addition, limited vocabulary mastery also makes it difficult for students to develop ideas and imagination in writing poetry. This study aims to examine the effect of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model on poetry writing skills in students with high and low learning motivation. Furthermore, this study seeks to examine the interaction between CTL learning model and learning motivation in influencing poetry writing skills. This research used experimental method with 2x2 factorial design. Applying performance test instruments and questionnaires, this study involved 71 samples divided into an experimental group of 35 students and a control group of 36 students. Through t-test and 2-way ANOVA, this study showed that the CTL model had a significant effect on poetry writing skills, both for students with high and low learning motivation. However, the interaction between the CTL model and learning motivation did not occur significantly, meaning that the CTL learning model provides a consistent influence on poetry writing skills, regardless of the level of student learning motivation. Thus, teachers can apply the CTL model evenly and focus on applying contextual learning strategies that are relevant to students' experiences, thus helping students more easily develop their poetry writing skills.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide an understanding of the application of digital media in the manufacture and documentation of official letters carried out at SMPN Padang Pariaman Regency. Based on observations, it is known that the structure and language used in official letters are still not in accordance with the rules of the Indonesian language. In addition, it was also found that the preparation and storage of archives in schools was still inadequate. School archives or documents are arranged in a cabinet, so it takes a long time to find them and is not well maintained due to improper arrangement and storage. Therefore, an activity is needed to correct errors in writing official letters and documenting existing school archives. Based on this explanation, it is necessary to conduct training activities regarding the creation and documentation of digital-based official letters using the Arterial application at SMP Negeri Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra
