Abstract

Developing effective and interesting learning media is very important in the educational process, especially at the elementary school level. This article discusses the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora video editing software at Cinta Rakyat Elementary School 104208. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the model proposed by Borg and Gall. Research steps include initial research and information gathering, planning, product draft development, initial field trials, product revisions, main field trials, final product revisions, and dissemination. The research results show that the use of Filmora in art learning is effective in increasing students' interest, understanding and art skills. Students are more enthusiastic and creative in taking art lessons using Filmora-assisted learning media compared to conventional methods. Teachers also find it easy to convey art material in a more interactive and interesting way. This learning media helps students learn more practically and contextually, which in turn increases their understanding of the material being taught. Thus, the development of art learning media assisted by Filmora can be an innovative solution to improve the quality of art learning in elementary schools. It is hoped that this article can be a reference for educators in utilizing technology to create a more enjoyable and meaningful learning experience for students.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a product in the form of learning media, namely web-based learning media with Google Sites as a site creation tool. A validation test was carried out to assess the feasibility and quality of the Google Sites web-based learning media for grade V elementary school science learning. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model, consisting of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques involve observation or observations, and questionnaires. The results of the validation test by two validators, namely the media expert validator obtained an average percentage value of 67.5%, interpreted into the feasible category, and the material expert validator obtained an average percentage value of 100% in the very feasible category. Students' responses to the media achieved 100% results in the very appropriate category. And the teacher's response to learning media received a percentage score of 100% in the very appropriate category. Based on the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that the Google Sites web-based learning media for grade V elementary school science learning is suitable for use in learning activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development (R&D) dimana produk yang dikembangkan adalah Model Pembelajaran “CAPLAIRE” yaitu model pembelajaran IPA berbasis literasi sains bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Literasi Sains yang diberi nama CAPLAIRE. CAPLAIRE sendiri merupakan singkatan dari tahapan pembelajarannya, yaitu : Case Investigation (Investigasi masalah), Plan A Solution (Rencana Solusi),  Implementation (Implementasi), dan Reflection/Evaluation (Refleksi/Evaluasi). Hasil uji validitas produk diperoleh 93% sangat layak untuk digunakan di mata kuliah Konsep Dasar Biologi di Prodi PGSD FIP UNIMED.

Abstract

Lembar kerja siswa (LKS) merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun LKS yang selama ini digunakan belum mengarahkan siswa untuk mengintegrasikan konsep science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) pada proses pembelajaran sehingga tujuan pembelajaran belum tercapai. Penelitian iini bertujuaniiuntuk  mengetahui kelayakan, daya tarik dani kemudahan LKS berbasisiSTEMiipada materi fluida dinamis dan  mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS berbasis STEM pada materi fluida dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar uji validitas materi, lembar uji validitas oleh ahli media,  lembar angket kelayakan,  kemudahan, kemenarikan oleh guru. Lembar angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS berbasis STEM. Berdasarkan hasili penelitiani menunjukkanibahwa LKSiberbasis STEM layak digunakan dengan imemperoleh nilaii persentaseisebesar 82,38% denganikriteriaisangatilayak. Hasiliuji cobairespon siswa terhadap LKS STEM pada materi fluida dinamis yang telah dikembangkan menunjukkanibahwa padaiuji coba produk persentase responisiswaiterhadapipenggunaan LKS berbasis STEM pada materi fluida dinamis sebesar 90,55% dengan sangat kriteria baik, pada uji coba penggunaan persentase respon siswa terhadap penggunaan LKS berbasis STEM pada materi fluida dinamis sebesar 84,85% dengan kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of creative learning in the subject of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SD Negeri 104203 Bandar Khalifah. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including questionnaires for students, interviews with teachers, and observation of student interactions in the classroom. The results show that 80% of students feel more interested and motivated in learning when creative methods such as games, group discussions, and the use of visual aids are applied. Teachers also stated that the implementation of creative learning enhances students' understanding of the material, although challenges related to limited teaching resources and preparation time were encountered. Creative learning has been shown to increase student engagement and understanding, as well as facilitate more meaningful learning. Therefore, it is recommended that schools provide more support in terms of facilities and training for teachers to optimize the implementation of creative learning methods in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the teaching module for Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at SD Negeri 060877 Medan Perjuangan and to measure its effectiveness in the teaching and learning process. This is important because the curriculum must continuously be updated in accordance with advancements in science and technology, as well as the students' need for higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in current education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, information was obtained through observations, interviews with teachers, and analysis of the teaching module documents. The results indicate that the IPAS teaching module incorporates elements of Bloom's Taxonomy, with some aspects reflecting lower-order thinking skills (LOTS) and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Although the module includes HOTS elements, there is still a need to add more challenging activities to foster creativity and innovation among students. This research recommends the development of teaching modules to enhance the quality of learning in the fourth grade.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Sparkol VideoScribe dengan menggunakan model Case Method pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV di SD Negeri 060877. Proses pengembangan melibatkan validasi oleh tiga validator, yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru kelas. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini memperoleh rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 91,83%, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Layak." Ahli materi memberikan nilai 93,33%, ahli media 90,52%, dan guru kelas 91,66%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Sparkol VideoScribe layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to assess the comparative effectiveness of the application of the Personal Project Model and Flipped Classroom on Elementary School Teacher Education students during the learning process. Field facts show that: (1) the importance of students to have literacy and numeracy skills, (2) new learning innovations can be obtained by applying the Personal Project and Flipped Classroom models, (3) increased knowledge is conditioned by lecturers as their job. This research uses a quantitative approach with Quasi Experiment. This research is useful for improving the literacy and numeracy skills of Elementary School Teacher Education students. The output of this research is a sinta article and proceedings as well as HAKI in the form of a final research report. Abstract

The issue of science literacy has gained significant importance in recent years, particularly as the world faces complex, technology-driven challenges that demand scientifically literate citizens. Science literacy, which encompasses the knowledge and skills needed to understand and engage with scientific concepts, is a critical element of modern education. However, despite its importance, many educational systems, particularly in developing countries, struggle to effectively enhance students' science literacy. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Caplaire Learning Model in improving science literacy among students in the elementary school teacher education program at Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). The study uses a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative (pre-test and post-test) and qualitative (interviews and surveys) data collection techniques to assess the impact of the model. Findings indicate a significant improvement in students' scientific literacy following the implementation of the Caplaire model, with higher post-test scores and positive feedback from students and lecturers. The Caplaire model, which integrates inquiry-based learning and reflection, effectively engaged students and fostered a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. These results suggest that the Caplaire model can be a valuable tool for improving science literacy in teacher education programs, with potential implications for broader adoption in educational curricula.

Abstract

Pengenalan konsep menabung dan pembuatan celengan merupakan bagian penting dalam membentuk karakter dan keterampilan dasar siswa sejak usia dini. Dalam era digital saat ini, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti aplikasi Canva menjadi alternatif inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik dan efektivitas proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji kelayakan Aplikasi Pembelajaran berbasis Canva dalam membantu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 060826 Medan Area memahami materi “Menabung pada Celengan Indah Buatan Sendiri.” Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, validasi oleh ahli desain memperoleh persentase 92,63% dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan validasi oleh ahli materi mencapai 88,24% dan validasi kepraktisan oleh guru mencapai 95%, keduanya juga masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dan sangat praktis. Pengujian efektivitas melalui pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dari rata-rata skor 46,1 menjadi 85,5. Perhitungan N-gain sebesar 0,73 mengindikasikan peningkatan yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, hasil uji menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa yang signifikan berdasarkan skor N-gain. Penelitian pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam inovasi media pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan siswa dan guru.
