Abstract

Quality and safe food products are the basic right of every consumer, including food products produced by small and medium industries. Good food production is an important factor in meeting quality standards or food safety licensing requirements. In setting standards, the government also plays an important role in providing direction and assistance to small and medium industries on achieving the specified quality standards. During this time the process is still carried out in a conventional manner directly to the industry. This conventional process is still considered ineffective by seeing the low level of business actors’ knowledge of the standards for Good Food Production Practice (GFPP). So, with this lack of knowledge, business actors’ interest in making food licensing is low. This study designed the application of an expert system that stimulates and provides an illustration for a standards assessment of Good Food Production methods. This research was conducted using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) engineering method for program development and using forward chaining for reasoning methods. This research proved that the application of an expert system for licensing due diligence can function in accordance with standards set by the government.

Abstract

The existence of social restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic has had many impacts, one of which is limiting direct sales of SMEs. One of them is Doa Ibu Kosmetik which sells various personal needs like cosmetics and body care. Doa Ibu Kosmetik opens a digital shop through Tokopedia to encourage sales. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) method was implemented in the Tokopedia account to compete with others. The method used to optimize the shop page is to upgrade the shop's status to Power Merchant and activate the features provided by Tokopedia. Product page optimization is carried out by adding titles, prices, descriptions, and product photos so that they comply with Tokopedia's recommendations and can compete with other sellers. The TopAds feature, which is Tokopedia's paid advertising feature, has also been implemented to help increase traffic on the Tokopedia Doa Ibu Kosmetik page. The research results show that optimization on Tokopedia can increase visits and sales.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to answer the problem of procurement of goods and minimize goods reaching expiration due to too long storage time, then as a provider of information about the forecasting system at Warung Sehat 1000 Kebun, then to predict sales of goods at Warung Sehat 1000 Kebun and identify how many goods that have been sold. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data used in this study is sales data for 2 (two) months with 30 lines of data and a total of 3 types of goods studied, namely sales data of pakcoy, cocofresh and free-range chicken eggs. The method used starts from data collection, forecasting calculations, forecasting testing, forecasting selection, and forecasting application. The forecasting methods used are moving average and exponential smoothing, by testing the mean absolute deviation, mean square error, and standard deviation. Forecasting results yielded outputs for pakcoy products as much as 1583.33 grams, for cocofresh products as many as 11 pcs and for chicken eggs as many as 9 pcs. Keywords:  exponential smoothing, forecasting examination, time series data, moving average

Abstract

Efficient microclimate management is crucial in enhancing crop yields in greenhouses. Factors like temperature, relative humidity, and ultraviolet (UV) index significantly impact crop quality. The absence of adequate ventilation mechanisms in greenhouses presents a challenge for temperature regulation. This study proposes a solution for tropical greenhouses by designing a system that automatically activates fans when temperatures rise above 30 °C. This system regulates temperature and cultivates optimal growth conditions for crops. It is supported by a web page that enables monitoring and adjustment of microclimate data. To accommodate individual crop requirements, the minimum temperature threshold for fan activation can be modified, enhancing the system's adaptability. The impact of the UV index on greenhouse temperature is also considered. The automation system decreases the temperature by around ±3 °C when the UV index hits 10. Nonetheless, its cooling impact wanes beyond the UV index of 10. A greenhouse automation system, equipped with fans and internet access, proves quite useful for agricultural environment management. It tackles the temperature control issue and offers varied solutions.

Abstract

Mango Day is small medium industry that echoes a healthy lifestyle as one of their visions with fruit strip as their product made from dried mangoes. The purpose of this research is to get the best marketing strategy for the Mango Day business. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques for instance, interviews, observations, and documentation with analytic descriptive results. The SWOT analysis technique is used to process data to obtain alternative strategies. There are four alternative strategies that can be used by companies as the company’s latest marketing strategy. SO strategy: maintaining product quality and creating new product variants, ST strategy: intensifying marketing on social media and other E-commerce is inserted with knowledge of products to be affordable to all groups and to expand the spread of products offline. WO Strategy: improve the quality of packaging and WT strategy: improve production processes to industrial scale

Abstract

Tanpa disadari perusahaan, permintaan pasar yang tinggi menimbulkan masalah dalam kegiatan jual-beli. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi perusahaan adalah terjadinya kekurangan dan kelebihan persediaan produk yang menyebabkan perusahaan menjadi tidak efisien dalam kegiatan jual-beli. Pengelolaan persediaan yang baik dan benar akan membantu kelancaran kegiatan jual-beli, sehingga pesanan konsumen dapat dipenuhi dengan waktu yang lebih cepat. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dikenal sebagai metode untuk mengoptimalkan besarnya jumlah pembelian bahan baku yang mengoptimalkan biaya total persediaan sehingga efisiensi dalam manajemen persediaan tercapai. Penelitian ini mengangkat kasus persediaan buah Apel Fuji pada ritel modern yang mengharapkan adanya perbaikan manajemen persediaan melalui optimalisasi besarnya jumlah pembelian setiap pesanan produk, menggunakan model EOQ. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus (case study). Analisis terhadap sistem persediaan buah Apel Fuji menghasilkan model perhitungan biaya total persediaan baru dari model dasar EOQ. Model ini mempertimbangkan komponen biaya kerusakan produk selama persediaan berlangsung, disamping kelompok biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanannya. Melalui model perhitungan EOQ ditambah kondisi aktual perusahaan diperoleh adanya penghematan sebesar 29% dari biaya persediaan yang sebelumnya diterapkan. Namun total biaya persediaan dengan menggunakan model dasar EOQ masih lebih efisien dibandingkan hasil perhitungan metode EOQ ditambah biaya kerusakan dengan diperolehnya penghematan sebesar 30% dari biaya total persediaan aktual perusahaan. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan model dasar EOQ didapat pembelian bahan baku yang optimal yaitu 48,61 kg, frekuensi pemesanan 44 kali dengan persediaan pengaman (Safety Stock) berada pada jumlah 171 kg dan titik pemesanan kembali (Reorder Point) sebesar 193,37 kg.

Abstract

Perkembangan industri yang semakin pesat menjadikan setiap perusahaan dituntut berinovasi supaya selalu relevan dengan kebutuhan dan perilaku pelanggan sehingga mampu menciptakan nilai loyalitas dan menjaga hubungan dari pelanggan terhadap perusahaan. Hubungan yang baik terhadap pelanggan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam keberlangsungan bisnisnya sehingga diperlukan analisis untuk mengenali dan memahami pelanggan. Metode RFM (recency, frequency, monetary) dapat membantu dalam mengidentifikasi segmentasi pelanggan berdasarkan kesamaan sesuai dengan tujuan dan kebutuhan PT. XYZ saat ini. Metode RFM adalah proses menganalisis perilaku pelanggan dan menentukan segmentasi pelanggan berdasarkan tiga indikator yang ada yakni recency, frequency, dan monetary. Proses analisis RFM dilakukan menggunakan data transaksi pelanggan dari tahun 2015 hingga 2022 dengan menetapkannya ke dalam 11 kategori segmentasi. Hasil analisis RFM menunjukkan kategori segmentasi About to Sleep, Hibernating, dan Churned Customers menjadi tiga segmentasi mayoritas. Segmentasi About to Sleep mencakup pelanggan dengan aktivitas pembelian rendah, Hibernating mencakup pelanggan dengan pola pembelian yang rendah dan kurang terlibat, dan Churned Customers mencakup pelanggan yang telah lama tidak bertransaksi dan beralih ke pesaing. Hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa PT. XYZ belum mampu menciptakan hubungan dan loyalitas yang baik terhadap pelanggan sehingga diperlukan strategi pengembangan bisnis untuk ke depannya. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of brand awareness of the Oorange Unpad Café products on consumer purchasing interest. This research uses a quantitative descriptive multiple linear regression analysis method with the research target, namely respondents consisting of visitors to the Oorange Unpad Café. Based on the results obtained from multiple linear regression analysis, the majority of the five dependent variables show a significant and strong relationship with the independent variables. However, the five multiple linear regression results had P-Value values that were not significant due to several factors that hampered the research. The variable consumer satisfaction with service at Oorange Unpad Café and the variable consumer satisfaction with menu variations at Oorange Unpad Café show the most positive and significant relationship with the independent variables with a Multiple R value of 0.85 and an R Square of 0.72 which is considered quite high compared to other variables.

Abstract

This study involves the creation and deployment of a Laravel framework-based web-based management information system for a business entity referred to as Buluk Lupa. The website serves as a platform for all transactions in Buluk Lupa, as well as a medium for promotion and storage of product and stock data online. The website employs a bootstrap with the Magenta theme, organizing the appearance of the website like a table while also providing separate pages for each menu item. The website also includes a shopping cart feature for users to purchase products, as well as a cookie system to streamline the user experience during login and order placement. The website underwent black box testing to ensure all functions align with the intended requirements. The text also discusses the economic feasibility analysis of Buluk Lupa's products and the proposed system modifications to make the existing information system more effective and provide a positive impact on sales and data collection, affecting Buluk Lupa's growth.

Abstract

In the pursuit of optimizing information systems and website development for PT. PVI (Renstra), an extensive analysis was conducted on the use of CMS WordPress supplemented with the Elementor add-on as the primary tool for website construction. This analysis sought to assess the feasibility and capabilities of Elementor basic in meeting Renstra's requirements. Various critical aspects were evaluated, including account creation, login and logout systems, as well as form display and integration. Elementor basic, while providing the convenience of a user-friendly drag-and-drop design interface, falls short of fully satisfying Renstra's needs. A significant challenge encountered was Elementor basic's inability to create a seamless account creation system integrated with login and logout features. This posed a hindrance for website users seeking to input data, as they were unable to smoothly implement login functionalities within Elementor basic. To address these challenges, several recommendations are proposed. Firstly, Renstra should consider upgrading to Elementor Pro, which offers an array of comprehensive features, including streamlined form integration and efficient account creation. Secondly, designing an efficient login system within Elementor Pro to enable users to effortlessly create accounts, log in, and access their work progress is paramount. Thirdly, meticulous attention should be given to integrating form submission and the Progress Bar to enable users to submit data effortlessly and view their progress directly on the website, eliminating the need for manual Progress Bar adjustments. Fourthly, leveraging Elementor Pro's additional design features can significantly enhance the website's overall appearance, ensuring it aligns with user requirements. Finally, Renstra should explore the development of supplementary features to enrich the user experience, such as enhanced work progress management, progress notifications for registered users, or more restricted access for specific users. Implementing these recommendations will enable PT. PVI to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their information system and website. This, in turn, will enable them to provide superior services to their users, enhance transparency in progress reporting, and ultimately achieve their goal of optimizing their corporate information system.
