Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the information obtained from playing with an artificial sand environment on the eye-hand coordination abilities of young children. This study is a quantitative research using an experimental method and a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The respondents consisted of 22 children aged 5 to 6 years. The results of the research indicate a significant difference in the average eye-hand coordination abilities of children before and after the treatment, as evidenced by the scores obtained in the pre- and post-tests, which were 40.9% and 68.1% respectively. Although the t-test calculation yields a significant value of < 0.05, specifically 0.00, rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho), these results indicate a significant influence before and after the treatment. It is necessary to design and implement regular play activities according to the themed sand play in the classroom as a medium to stimulate eye-hand coordination. Additionally, it is important to disseminate this information to groups of teachers in the vicinity of the research location.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of role-playing on the Interpersonal Intelligence of 5-6-year-old children in Group B at TK Anggrek Kindergarten in Boidua Village, North Bulango District, Bone Bolangol Regency. It employed a quantitative research approach with an experimental method that applied treatment to influence the research sample, assuming that there would be changelling children's interpersonal intelligence. The results indicated that the experimental method in the Role Playing Influence on the Interpersonal Intelligence of 5-6 Years Children in Group B at TK Anggrek Kindergarten in Boidul Village, North Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency. The test results showed at count = 5.879, t-table value at α = 0.05; dk = n-1 (15-1 = 14) was obtained = 2.145. Thus, the t count exceeded the t-table (T count=5.879≥ Ttable =a2.131). Based on the testing criteria that accept Ha: if Tcount ≥ Ttable α = 0.05; n-1. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis a (Ha) can be accepted. Hence, it can be stated that role-playing affects children's interpersonal intelligence.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the effect of weaving on a child’s concentration level. The research method was the experimental with pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest). The results of the research with 30 children as sample showed that there was difference between the average pretest and posttest. It can be seen in pretest obtained 15.97 and the standard deviation was 1.4735 while in posttest obtained 29.07 and standard deviation was 2.09981. These results proved that there is a significant influence before and after treatment. So, there is an influence of weaving activities on children's concentration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan manggunakan Game Edukasi Avatar World di TK Kamboja, Kecamatan Kota Tengah, Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan setelah diberikan perlakuan dan sebelum diberikan perlakuan. Jumlah sampel 20 anak usia 5-6 tahun kelompok B di TK Kamboja,  Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada pretest ini yaitu 22.55 dari total skor 451 Sedangkan setelah perlakuan menggunakan Game Avatar World diberikan pada siswa TK Kamboja dengan menggunakan sampel 20 siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh 35.25 dari total skor 705. Data tersebut terlihat bahwa ada perbedaan atau kemajuan pada tingkat memahami anak di TK Kamboja, dan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang diberikan pada pemberian Game Avatar World berdasarkan uji-t dengan menunjukan nilai probabilitas 0,000 oleh karena itu berarti 0,000 < 0,05 serta Nilai t-hitung 48.367 yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh tingkat memahami anak mengunakan game avatar world.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low ability of children in recognizing letters, as well as the lack of utilization of learning media used to support the process. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using lapbook media on the ability to recognize letters in children aged 4-5 years at Kamboja Kindergarten, Central City District, Gorontalo City. This study applied saturated sampling technique which involved all group A as many as 19 people. The approach used was quantitative research and experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was done through performance tests. The results of hypothesis testing that the significance value of 0.000 < α = 0.05 and the value of t count = 15.650 and t table = 1.729 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of lapbook media on the ability to recognize letters in children 4-5 years at Kamboja Kindergarten
