Abstract

The rapidly developing and dynamic modern era has also presented various ideologies and behaviors that have caused many people to begin to doubt the existence of God in the universe. This condition also has its own influence on Christian families whose children no longer have high enthusiasm in efforts to strengthen their spirituality, so that practical atheistic behavior or attitudes that no longer view religion and spirituality as important elements in human life often emerge. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of Christian parents in anticipating practical atheistic behavior for the family. The research method applied is literature study and analysis by reduction. The research results explain, Parents have an important role and responsibility in the family, including having awareness in seeking education in such a way as to strengthen the spirituality of each family member to be obedient and believe in God. The example of parents who consistently embody their faith through their daily behavior in the family can encourage children to imitate it without feeling burdened/forced. Christian parents must be able to create a family whose character is in accordance with Christian values, so that it cannot be influenced by heretical ideologies and practical atheistic behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the conflict resolution of PAK teachers in creating a conducive learning climate. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection through Focus Group Discussion activities by interviewing 5 PAK teachers and 5 students in class XI SMK Negeri 2 Soe. The data were analyzed using a descriptive approach which discussed the results of the study that conflict resolution for PAK teachers had an impact on creating a conducive learning climate quite well and significantly, which was reinforced by almost all indicators of conflict resolution for PAK teachers that had been implemented optimally, such as giving a chance, discussing problems, compromising, forgiving each other, there is an agreement to maintain order. The implications can be measured from the learning climate indicators, namely the creation of a learning atmosphere away from noise in the classroom, students respect each other, students are not worried about asking questions, students do not go in and out during learning, although sometimes there is still a lack of neatness. However, in general PAK teachers have been able to optimally apply conflict resolution in creating a conducive and comfortable learning climate for students.

Abstract

Cultural diversity in Indonesia acts as a catalyst for tolerance and the formation of a diverse society with values rooted in religion, local wisdom, and cultural heritage. However, the low level of spiritual understanding and inadequate cultural integration in East Nusa Tenggara have triggered the emergence of cases that disregard the human life cycle, such as the prevalence of abortion and suicide, as well as social and economic pressures that undermine the mental well-being of the community. Previous research delved into the local wisdom of the Timorese community, the historical aspects of the Timorese culture, and the Toit Ulan Ritual in Central Amanuban. This study focuses on the beliefs of Atoni Pah Meto in the Banamas Neonsaet (East Amanuban), exploring its cultural heritage and local beliefs. It aims to understand the impact of ceremonies on each life stage from the perspective of their local wisdom that contributing to the preservation of the community’s mental well-being. Utilizing qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach involving community leaders, the study employs observation, interviews, and documentation, with subsequent data reduction, presentation, and verification. Findings highlight that life-cycle ceremonies reflect values of familial bonds, cooperation, and harmony with nature. Marriage and funeral processes involve family roles in maintaining spirituality and warding off spiritual disturbances. Despite the influence of formal religion, traces of traditional beliefs persist, shaping a unique identity that harmonizes cultural heritage and religion. The research underscores the importance of preserving and understanding this cultural richness for the sustainability and harmony of the Atoni Pah Meto in the East Amanuban. Key words: East Amanuban, Ceremony, Life Cycle, Local Wisdom, Atoni Pah Meto.

Abstract

Perundungan fisik di sekolah berdampak serius pada perkembangan psikologis dan sosial siswa. Sayangnya, pendekatan hukuman seringkali gagal memulihkan korban sepenuhnya. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana pendekatan empati dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam membantu siswa korban perundungan untuk bertransformasi menjadi penyintas. Empati, yang terdiri dari dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan welas asih, diterapkan sebagai dasar tindakan restoratif yang mendorong pemulihan emosional dan sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan desk study, dengan data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan prosiding. Data dianalisis secara reduktif, mengungkapkan bahwa peran aktif guru, konselor, teman sebaya, serta keterlibatan keluarga dan lembaga keagamaan seperti gereja, merupakan kunci untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang suportif dan aman. Dengan pendekatan ini, sekolah tidak hanya mencegah kekerasan tetapi juga menumbuhkan budaya penyembuhan dan pemberdayaan.

Abstract

Agama dan masyarakat merupakan dua elemen yang tidak terpisahkan sejak lama dikarenakan saling berkaitan satu dengan yang lainnya. Namun seiring perkembangan zaman, khususnya di era society 5.0 seperti saat ini terjadi berbagai kesenjangan antara pengaruh agama dan perilaku masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh agama dalam perilaku masyarakat di era society 5.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature research dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur dan dianalisis melalui kajian studi pustaka atau yang berbasis buku dan jurnal 5 tahun terakhir. Hasil penelitian yang dipaparkan yaitu diketahui terdapat bentuk perilaku negatif masyarakat era society 5.0 yang bertentangan dengan agama, di antaranya: perilaku yang lebih mengutamakan rasio/logika, bergantung pada kecanggihan teknologi, individualisme maupun konsumerisme. Terdapat teori-teori keagamaan yang masih berpengaruh terhadap perilaku masyarakat era society 5.0 tentang agama itu sendiri, seperti: teori thermodynamics, teori evolusi, teori liberalisme dan teori marxisme. Oleh karena itu perlu memahami implementasi pengaruh agama dalam perilaku masyarakat di era society 5.0 yang cukup penting di antaranya: pengaruh dalam kontrol sosial, pengaruh nilai transformative, pengaruh edukatif, pengaruh untuk hidup produktif, pengaruh dalam pendamaian, pengaruh penguatan solidaritas, menyadarkan tentang keselamatan kekal.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in depth the concept of cultural leadership in the Boti tribe. This study uses a qualitative research design with a thematic analysis approach. The informants in this study were the leader of the boti tribe who were called "usif or king", the village head and 18 followers as well as significant others as well as one informant who knew about the Boti tribe. Data obtained through in- depth interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study explain the existence of traits and behaviors that are born from the leader's personality and those born from culture. The main role of the leader is to protect the people and nature which is done through the tradition of planting corn. The results of the study show that the physiological impact is meeting basic needs and psychology, namely independence and self-esteem of followers. The concept of leadership in the Boti tribe also talks about the influencing process between leaders and followers. This influencing process involves the nature and behavior of the leader, as well as power i.e. spiritual ability and authority over the Boti ethnic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter orang tua bagi anak remaja usia 12-15 tahun di Suku Boti Dalam dan suku Boti Luar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan mewawancarai 5 orang sumber primer terdiri atas 1 orang Raja Boti (Usif), 2 orang tua dari suku Boti Dalam dan 2 orang tua dari suku Boti Luar yang memiliki anak remaja usia 12-15 tahun sehingga diperoleh data yang otentik. Analisis data dilakukan secara komparatif yaitu membandingkan pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan orang tua pada anak remaja usia 12-15 tahun di suku Boti Dalam dengan di Suku Boti Luar. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pendidikan karakter oleh orang tua bagi anak remaja usia 12-15 tahun di suku Boti Dalam sangatlah kental dengan adat-istiadat. Sebagai contoh raja Boti (Usif) melaksanakan pendidikan karakter dengan mengumpulkan masyarakat suku Boti Dalam pada hari ke-9 untuk menasihati, membentuk kelompok kerja, memberikan keteladanan, bercerita, melakukan pembiasan-pembiasaan positif yang dapat mendidik anak remaja. Sedangkah suku Boti Luar dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter tidak menghubungkannya dengan adat istiadat, tetapi dengan mendidik anak remajanya sesuai ajaran Alkitab yang menjadi dasar nilai-nilai kekristenan.This study aims to analyze the comparison of the implementation of parental character education for adolescents aged 12-15 years in the Inner Boti Tribe and the Outer Boti Tribe. The method used is qualitative descriptive by interviewing 5 primary sources consisting of 1 Raja Boti (Usif), 2 parents from the Inner Boti tribe and 2 parents from the Outer Boti tribe who have teenagers aged 12-15 years to obtain authentic data. Data analysis was carried out comparatively, namely comparing the character education carried out by parents on adolescents aged 12-15 years in the Inner Boti tribe is very thick with customs. For example, Raja Boti (Usif) carries out character education by gathering the people of the Inner Boti tribe on the 9th day to give advice, form working groups, provide examples, tell stories, make positive habits that can educate teenagers. Whereas the Outer Boti tribe in carrying out character education doesn't not relate it to customs, but by educating their teenagers according to teachings of the Bible which are the basis of Christian values.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the internalization of the value of religious harmony by PAK teachers in strengthening the social solidarity of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Soe. This study used a qualitative method where primary data was collected through interviews with 5 PAK teachers and 5 students from class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Soe as respondents using the FGD (Focus Group Discussion) approach. The data that has been collected is then analyzed and discussed using a descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the internalization of the values ​​of religious harmony has been manifested in every lesson by PAK teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Soe through teaching and education related to living the values ​​of tolerance, equality, and building cooperation with other friends regardless of background religious beliefs. In addition, the values ​​of inter-religious harmony that have been instilled as a whole and as a whole are able to have an impact on the strengthening of social solidarity among students at SMP Negeri 1 Soe which is shown by mutual trust, mutual respect, responsibility for the common good, paying attention to the interests each other despite living in religious pluralism.
