Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran teks deskripsi berbasis pendekatan MIKiR pada siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Negeri Muaro Jambi. Pembelajaran teks deskripsi berbasis MIKiR meliputi merancang, pelaksanaan, dan penilain yang dilaksanakan oleh pendidik ataupun peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian meliputi RPP, skenario, media, dan LKPD MIKiR. Sumber penelitian yaitu informan yang dapat memberikan data meliputi pendidik dan peserta didik. Informan/partisipan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposeful sampling berdasarkan karakteristik individu yaitu pendidik dan peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis data, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi kegiatan mengorganisasikan data, memoing, mengklasifikasikan dan menfasirkan data menggunakan open coding, axial coding, dan selective coding. Penyajian data dideskripsikan sesuai dengan tema. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran teks deskripsi MIKiR meliputi kegitan merancang skenario, RPP, media, dan LKPD, pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdasarakan aktivitas pendidik dan peserta didik seperti unsur mengalami peserta didik mengamati teks, unsur interaksi peserta didik berdiskusi, unsur komunikasi peserta didik menampilkan hasil kerja, dan unsur interaksi peserta didik memberikan kesimpulan tentang struktur teks deskripsi, serta penilaian pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian diagnostik. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan dasar penguatan pembelajaran teksdeskripsi berbasis MIKiR di SMP.

Abstract

Evaluation of learning is a crucial step in understanding the progress of students' competence and determining the success of the learning process. This study aims to explain, with reference to the 2013 Curriculum, the experience of teachers conducting evaluations during online learning. This study focused on nine English teachers from nine public schools in Jambi City, including five junior high schools, two high schools, and two vocational high schools. This case study employed an interview instrument which data were then qualitatively analyzed. The findings of this study include teachers' comprehension of learning evaluation, forms of assessment, barriers in the learning process, and the effectiveness of implementing learning evaluation. First, teachers have a comprehensive understanding of learning evaluation, which includes students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes. However, teachers consider the number of student competencies that must be assessed in online learning to be burdensome, specifically due to limited hour of meeting. The teachers emphasize on delivering the material and decrease the number of competencies that students must acquire. Second, teachers assign daily tasks to assess students' knowledge, video projects to assess their skills, and pay attention to the punctuality of assignment submission and classroom interaction to assess students' attitudes. Third, the obstacles of learning include the absence of gadgets, limited of internet quotas, the difficulty of the internet access, the lack of student participation, and the absence of parental support for online learning. Fourth, the limited abilities of teachers, the difficult conditions of students, and the limited time contribute to the ineffectiveness of the online learning process. In conclusion,  the evaluation of online learning cannot completely reference the curriculum.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to describe stereotype The father figure in the short story Guru by Putu Wijaya is in accordance with Derrida's theory. The research method uses a deconstruction approach to Derrida's theoretical literary works. Deconstruction of literary works is able to analyze short stories from the language that has various meanings in a text. The data in this research is in the form of text documents containing fragments of characters, plot, caritas background in short stories. The data source comes from Jawa Pos, 05/08/2016 edition of teacher's short stories by Putu Wijaya. The data collection technique uses heuristic techniques, namely reading the initial stages by analyzing the elements contained in the story such as characters. The data analysis technique uses the hermeneutic technique of in-depth reading of literary works in the form of the social environment in the story and analyzing it in depth in accordance with deconstruction theory. Research result stereotype The character of the father can be shown based on dialogue or the character's speech, such as the environment, the character's reactions to other characters. It is known that the character of the father does not depict the attitude of a parent who is firm, wise and unemotional. And the meaning of opposition which shows my father's bad thoughts towards teachers is a form of criticism of the government.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkonstruksi model kooperatif tipe student team achievement division (STAD) sesuai identidifikasi masalah dan kondisi pembelajaran. Penelitian mengggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskripstif. Peneliti sebagai instrumen penelitian, data diperoleh dari proses pembelajaran dan dokumen pembelajaran, sedangkan sumber data yang peneliti gunakan yaitu sumber data sekunder dari berbagai jurnal, buku, dan media elektronik lainnya, uji validas yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan kondisi dan permasalahan pembelajaran bawa apresiasi cerpen dilaksanakan hanya menganalisis unsur instrinsik dan ekstrinsik cerpen sehingga tidak sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran. Dengan adanya konstruksi model kooperatif tipe STAD peserta didik melaksanakan kegiatan secara berkelompok dan diberikan lembar tugas atau kerja berupa tahapan apresiasi yang meliputi aspek emotif kegiatan mengenal permasalahan, kognitif kegiatan memahami unsur, dan evaluative kegiatan menilai dan menghargai cerpen. This study aims to construct of the cooperative learning model, student team achievement division (STAD) type, in the context of short story appreciation teaching, highlighting the identified problems and current learning conditions. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The researcher acts as the research instrument, with data collected through observations of the learning process and analysis of instructional documents. The primary data sources are secondary data obtained from various journals, books, and electronic media. Data validity is tested using theory triangulation. The study's findings reveal that the current condition and issues in short story appreciation teaching focus solely on analyzing intrinsic and extrinsic elements of the stories, which does not fully meet the intended learning outcomes. By construct the STAD cooperative model, students engage in group activities and are provided with worksheets that include stages of appreciation, covering emotive aspects (identifying issues), cognitive aspects (understanding story elements), and evaluative aspects (assessing and valuing short stories).

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak has had a significant impact globally, especially on social communication. Public figures with different professional backgrounds give rise to different humanist expressive language styles. Research on language and humanist expressive speech acts during an outbreak is still rare. The purpose of this study is to analyze the function of expressive humanist speech of public figures in the Covid-19 outbreak on YouTube. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The sources of research data are the speech acts of public figures during the Covid-19 outbreak on YouTube. The data used is the speech acts of public figures who allegedly contained humanist expressive speech during the Covid-19 outbreak. The results of this study show that from sixteen transcriptions of videos of public figures during the Covid-19 pandemic on YouTube, 123 expressive humanist speech acts were found. A total of 15 expressive speech functions can be analyzed from this data. These functions include saying congratulations, gratitude, sympathy, praise, apologize, criticize, suggest, blame, educate, complain, disappoint, motivate, hope, empathize, and be grateful. The tendency of expressive humanist speech of public figures based on the percentage of frequency, 20% motivating, 18% educating, and 11% sympathetic. The other speech functions are below 10%. Public figures have a role in disseminating information and need to be careful so as not to cause social conflict. The function of speech to motivate, educate, and be sympathetic is a function of speech that can be used by public figures in delivering information so that misunderstandings do not occur.

Abstract

The aim of the research in this study was to add variations to zig-zag run training on the agility of Pengcab KKI North Lampung kumite karate athletes. The research uses the R n D method (Research and Development), researchers developed existing agility training products and then modified them again according to needs. Of the four development steps, researchers limited only two steps to collecting information and planning zig zag run training products at Pengcab KKI North Lampung. This research uses data collection techniques, namely literature review this means that the researcher looks for several theoretical sources related to the research. The results of research on the development of zig zag run training in gathering information contained several problems including lack of targeted training, lack of training program structure, training focused heavily on other aspects of physical training, and lack of variety in agility training. Product planning includes a variety of structured exercises with zig zag exercises using cone, variation of the zig zag run exercise by circling cone, and variations of the zig zag run exercise with running sprint forward and run sideways past cone

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan E-LKPD berbasis kearifan budaya lokal pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi “Meliuk dan Menerjang” siswa SD di Lampung Utara. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Peneliti mendeskripsikan E-KPD berbasis budaya lokal secara detail sesuai dengan fakta yang ada di sekolah yang memanfaatkan E-LKPD berbasis kearifan budaya lokal. Data pada penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer yakni data yang diperoleh secara langsung berupa hasil observasi dan wawancara bersama pendidik di SD Lampung Utara, sedangkan data sekunder yakni data yang diperoleh dengan perantara meliputi dokumen bahan ajar E-LKPD dan sumber lain yang mendukung penelitian tetang E-LKPD. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur pengumpulan data meliputi tahapan rencana, klasifikasi, dan penyajian data. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis kearifan budaya lokal dapat dilakukan pada siswa kela IV pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi “Meliuk dan Menerjang” sesuai dengan nilai dan karakter kebangsaan. Pendidik dapat memanfaatkan teknologi dengan berbagai platform agar menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kritis, dan inovatif. Pendidik merancang E-LKPD berbasis kearifan budaya lokal memperhatikan indikator desain, meteri, dan bahasa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of code switching and code mixing that occur in workplace communication and to examine their implications from an educational management perspective. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, listening, audio recording, and documentation techniques. The data consisted of five selected speech events, which revealed two instances of code switching (internal and external) and three instances of code mixing in the form of words, phrases, and clauses. The dominant languages used were Indonesian, Sundanese, Javanese, and English. The findings indicate that code switching and code mixing are influenced by conversational context, speakers’ cultural backgrounds, habitual language use, the presence of a third participant, and the formality of workplace situations. Beyond their linguistic function, these phenomena reflect social interaction patterns, cultural identity, and communication effectiveness in multilingual professional settings. From an educational management perspective, the results highlight the importance of managing language use in workplace learning, communication training, and professional development programs to support effective collaboration and inclusive learning environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan psikologi kepribadian tokoh Sugeng dalam novel Janur Ireng karya Simpleman dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra Sigmund Freud. Dengan berfokus pada Gambaran psikologi tokoh Sugeng dan kepribadian tokoh Sugeng melalui tindakan dan dialognya. Sugeng, sebagai tokoh utama mengalami konflik internal yang mencerminkan tantangan moral dan emosional dalam hidupnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui pembacaan heuristik dan analisis data hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian terdapat 5 data, Aspek id terdapat 2 data, Aspek ego terdapat 2 data dan Aspek superego 1 data yang menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian Sugeng dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sosial dan budaya Jawa, serta konflik yang dihadapinya dalam keluarga dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana pengalaman Sugeng mencerminkan tema kekuasaan, pengorbanan, dan tradisi, serta dampaknya terhadap pembaca dalam memahami dinamika karakter fiksi.

Abstract

Batik is an Indonesian cultural heritage that plays a crucial role as a national identity. In the digital era, the preservation of batik faces new dynamics shaped by technological advancement, cultural globalization, and changes in public consumption patterns. This article aims to analyze the preservation of batik as a national identity in the digital era by examining its opportunities, challenges, and preservation strategies. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method through literature review of academic books, national and international journals, and official documents related to batik and culture. The findings indicate that the digital era provides significant opportunities for batik promotion and innovation through social media and digital platforms; however, it also presents challenges such as excessive commercialization, cultural value shifts, and declining understanding of batik’s philosophical meanings among younger generations. Therefore, adaptive and sustainable preservation efforts are required through cultural literacy enhancement, wise utilization of digital technology, and strong government policy support alongside youth participation to maintain batik as Indonesia’s national identity.
