Abstract

Mie ayam merupakan makanan rakyat yang sangat disukai oleh semua lapisan masyarakat dan berbagai golongan umur. Mulai dari cara penyiapan sampai dengan penyajian mie ayam ini sangat rentan terhadap kemungkinan terjadinya cemaran bakteriologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui angka kuman pada racikan mie ayam dan hubungan antara kondisi higiene sanitasi (sanitasi peralatan, sanitasi air,cara pencucian peralatan dan higiene penjamah makananpenjual mie ayam) dan cara pengolahan mie ayam dengan angka kuman pada mie ayam yang dijual di Kota Padang. Penelitian di laksanakan di kota Padang tahun 2011 menggunakan rancangan penelitian bersifat Explanatory atau Confirmatory Research dengan pendekatan crosssectional. Sampel diambil secara total sampling yaitu sebanyak 35 buah tempat penjualan mie ayam.Data hygiene sanitasi dan cara pengolahan mie ayam dikumpulkan melalui observasi sementaraanalisis bakteriologi menggunakan metode TotalPlate Count untuk mengetahui angka kumanpada racikan mie ayam. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan pemeriksaan angka kuman terhadap 35 sampel mie ayam di dapatkan 18 sampel yang tidak memenuhi syarat dengan angka kuman lebih dari 1,0 x 0,000005 koloni/gram. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan hubungan yang signifikan antara cara pengolahan mie ayam (p=0,001), cara pencucian peralatan (p=0,045), hygiene penjamah (p=0.036) dan sanitasi peralatan (p=0,018) dengan angka kuman. Tapi tidak ditemukan hubungan antara sanitasi air dengan angka kuman (p = 1 ,00).

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penyakit tidak menular seperti DM, jantung, tekanan darah tinggi, kanker, stress dan penyakit tidak menular lainnya disebabkan karena pola hidup tidak sehat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita DM dan hipertensi salah satunya adalah kegiatan Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi secara rutin untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anggota klub Prolanis, yaitu suatu sistem pelayanan kesehatan dan pendekatan proaktif yang dilaksanakan secara integritas yang melibatkan peserta, fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama seperti Puskesmas, dan BPJS Kesehatan sehingga diharapkan anggota klub dapat menerapkan pola hidup sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari berikut dapat berdampak baik pada kondisi kesehatan mereka. Sasaran pengabdian adalah anggota klub prolanis di Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya dan Ambacang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan berupa kegiatan Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE) dengan 4 (empat) tahapan yaitu kegiatan Pre-test, kegiatan Penyampaian materi tentang status gizi yang baik dan pola hidup sehat disertai dengan pemberian leafleat, kegiatan Post-test, dan pengukuran tekanan darah dan gula darah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan anggota klub tentang pola hidup sehat dengan melakukan kegiatan Pre-test dan Post-test. Tingkat pengetahuan anggota dengan kategori baik saat Pre-test adalah sebanyak 53,8%, sedangkan pada saat Post-test meningkat menjadi 59,6%. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan sasaran telah memahami konsep pola hidup sehat. Untuk kedepannya diharapkan kegiatan ini rutin dilaksanakan dan anggota prolanis yang ikut berpartisipasi jumlahnya lebih banyak dan lebih tenang sehingga pengabdi dapat memberikan kontribusi lebih dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan dan memperbaiki kebiasaan pola hidup pada anggota klub prolanis.Kata Kunci: Prolanis, Tingkat Pengetahuan, Pola Hidup Sehat Efforts to Improve the Quality of Life with the Implementation of the Healthy Living Patterns in People with Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension in Prolanis ClubABSTRACT: The disease is not contagious like DM, heart, high blood pressure, cancer, stress and diseases are not contagious to other due to unhealthy life pattern. Efforts that can be done to improve the quality of life of sufferers of DM and hypertension one is information communication and education activities on a regular basis to improve the knowledge of members of the Club Prolanis, i.e., a system of health services and proactive approach undertaken in the integrity involving the participants, first-level health facilities such as Clinics, and Wellness BPJS so expect members of the Club can apply healthy living patterns in everyday life These can have an impact both on the condition of their health. The targets of the devotion is a member of the Club prolanis at the Clinics Down crocodiles and Ambacang. This devotion activities carried out in the form of Educational information and communication activities (IEC) with four (4) phases i.e. pre-release test activities, activities of the delivery of the material about the status of good nutrition and healthy living patterns accompanied by awarding leafleat, activity Post-test, and measurements of blood pressure and blood sugar. Results of activity indicates that an increase in knowledge Club members about the pattern of healthy living by performing activities of pre-and Post test-test. Level of knowledge of members by category whether Pre-test is as much a 53.8%, whereas at the time of the Post-test increased to 59.6%. Activities running smoothly and target have understood the concept of healthy life patterns. For the future it is expected these activities regularly carried out and member of prolanis who participated in number more and more quiet so servants could contribute more in an effort to increase and improve habits the pattern of life on prolanis Club members.Key words: Prolanis, Level of Knowledge, The Pattern of Healthy Living

Abstract

Masa balita merupakan masa yang dikenal sebagai golden age dan periode kritis. Dimana, Golden age ini merupakan masa yang sangat penting untuk memperhatikan tumbuh kembang anak secara cermat agar sedini mungkin dapat terdeteksi apabila terjadi kelainan. Pemberian asupan gizi yang sesuai untuk tumbuh kembang secara optimal juga perlu diperhatikan, karena jika asupan gizi tidak terpenuhi sesuai kebutuhannya, golden age akan menjadi periode kritis yang akan mengganggu proses tumbuh kembang anak. Mengingat gizi merupakan faktor penting dalam pola pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak pada masa golden age, maka memperhatikan kebutuhan dan porsi pemberian gizi seimbang menjadi wajib bagi orang tua. Promosi gizi merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan komunikasi informasi dan edukasi yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi ibu,penanaman sikap ibu yang poitif terhdap gizi seimbang serta adanya perbaiakn pada pola makan dalam keluarga terkhusus pada balita. Pengabdian masyarakat ini melakukan promosi gizi melalui penyuluhan berupa penyampaian materi terutama mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang pada masa golden age yang disertai dengan pemberian leafleat dan demo dengan saran yaitu ibu yang memiliki balita di Puskesms Anak Air dan Puskesmas Air Dingin. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini diawali dengan pre-test untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap ibu mengenai gizi seimbang, kegiatan penilaian status gizi melalui pengukuran berat dan panjang badan. Kegiatan penyampaian materi oleh pengabdi yang diakhiri dengan kegiatan post-test. Tujuan pemberian pre test dan post test adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu yang memiliki balita setelah dilakukannya kegiatan penyuluhan. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan 1 kali per puskesmas pada selang waktu kegiatan posyandu di Puskesmas Air Dingin dan Puskesmas Anak Air. Kata Kunci : Balita, Golden Age, Gizi Seimbang ABSTRACT Toddler period is a period known as the golden age and critical period. This golden age is a very important time to pay close attention to the child's growth and development so that as early as possible can be detected if abnormalities occur. Providing appropriate nutritional intake for optimal growth and development also needs to be considered, because if the nutritional intake is not met according to their needs, the golden age will be a critical period that will interfere with the child's growth and development process. Considering nutrition is an important factor in the pattern of growth and development of children during the golden age, then paying attention to the needs and portions of balanced nutrition is mandatory for parents. Nutrition promotion is a form of information and education communication activities that can increase the mother's nutritional knowledge, the inculcation of positive maternal attitudes towards balanced nutrition and the improvement of dietary patterns in the family especially in infants. This community service is promoting nutrition through counseling in the form of delivering material, especially on the importance of balanced nutrition during the golden age accompanied by the provision of leafleat and demonstrations with advice, namely mothers who have children under five in the Water Children Health Centre and Cold Water Health Centre. This counseling activity begins with a pre-test to find out knowledge and attitudes of mothers regarding balanced nutrition, nutritional status assessment activities through weight and length measurements. Submission of services by the servants, which ended with a post-test activities. The purpose of giving pre-test and post-test is to find out whether there is an increase in knowledge and attitudes of mothers who have children under five years after counseling activities. Counseling activities are carried out once per health centre at the interval of Posyandu activities at Air Dingin health centre and Anak Air health centre. Abstract

ABSTRAK Ibu hamil termasuk dalam kelompok rentan gizi. Kebutuhan gizi yang tidak terpenuhi pada masa kehamilan mempengaruhi kondisi gizi ibu dan tumbuh kembang janin, berikutnya bisa mempengaruhi kondisi bayi yang dilahirkan, yaitu berupa berat lahir rendah, panjang lahir pendek dan pertumbuhan otak tidak optimal. Tujuan jangka panjang kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan gizi pada ibu hamil dan jangka pendek yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, kemudian meningkatkan sikap positif dan perilaku makan yang sehat dan bergizi selama kehamilan sehingga memberikan dampak positif bagi status gizi bayi yang dilahirkan. Sasaran kegiatan adalah ibu hamil yang mengikuti kelas ibu hamil yang diselenggarakan oleh Puskesmas Lapai. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE), meliputi kegiatan pre-test, penyampaian materi disertai pemberian leafleat dan kegiatan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan gizi ibu hamil berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test. Tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil dengan kategori baik saat pre-test adalah sebanyak 3 orang, sedangkan pada saat post-test meningkat menjadi 11 orang (91.7%). Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan ibu hamil memahami konsep tentang gizi ibu hamil. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan secara rutin dengan adanya kerjasama antara institusi kesehatan dan pendidikan di semua Puskesmas di Kota Padang, selain jumlah peserta yang ikut berpartisipasi lebih banyak. Kata Kunci : Promosi kesehatan, Tingkat pengetahuan, Ibu hamil ABSTRACT Pregnant women are vulnerable nutrition groups. Unmet maternal nutritional needs during pregnancy affect the mother's nutritional condition and fetal growth, the next can affect the condition of the babies born, namely low birth weight, short birth length and brain growth is not optimal. The long-term goal is to help overcome the nutritional problems in pregnant women and the short-term goal is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women so that they have good nutritional status and health, and have a good impact for the babies born. The target is pregnant women who attend pregnant mothers classes in Lapai Health Center. This program is Communication Information and Education in the form of Pre-test, the presentation about good nutritional status and nutritious healthy diet during pregnancy accompanied by giving leaflets, and Post-test. The results showed that there was a significant increase in pregnant mother's nutritional knowledge by doing Pre-test and Post-test. The knowledge level of pregnant women with good category when the Pre-test are 3 people when Post-test increased to 11 people (91.7%). Activities run smoothly and pregnant women have understood the concept of pregnant women's nutrition. Hopefully, this activity is routinely carried out and the total of pregnant women’s participation increases. Keywords: Health Promotion, Knowledge Level, Pregnant women

Abstract

The prevalence of tuberculosis (TB) has increased from 2018, which is recorded 10,000,000 cases of tuberculosis (5,800,000 men and 3,200,000 women) in the worldwide. Indonesia is among the three countries with the highest prevalence of tuberculosis in the world in 2018. The problem obtained from the results of the Healthy Family Indicator survey in Nagari Pianggu is the low percentage of TB patients who seek medical treatment regularly by 35%. This activity aims to increase public awareness about TB and medication adherence to TB sufferers. The activity was carried out using the PDCA (Planning Do Check Action) approach. The activity begins with problem identification, planning, implementation of activities, monitoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out in accordance with the plan, namely in Nagari Pianggu, Sungai Lasi Health Centre Work Area. The results obtained from this activity are the implementation of problem identification activities, determining problems and causes, determining alternative solutions to problems, intervening, compiling monitoring and evaluation plans. Intervention activities in the form of counselling about TB and the distribution of health promotion media went smoothly and it was also recommended that TB sufferers continue treatment until it was completed so that TB problems could be overcome.

Abstract

Website is a feature that is commonly used for various purposes, ranging from the actualization of individuals, business institutions in dealing with the community of users of services or products, to become a digital face for official agencies such as government. One of the Nagari who needs the benefits of this website is Lubuk Karak, District IX Koto, Dhamas Raya Regency. This is because complaints and aspirations are still very dependent on physical meetings between community representatives and the head of the Jorong, with the guardian of the village. With the existence of the village website, it is hoped that it can become a digital medium to accommodate complaints and aspirations of the community and increase community interaction and communication with the staff of the religion. Through the KKN Mental Revolution activity, students are expected to become agents of change by socializing and inviting people to make changes in line with the values of mental revolution. One of the work programs carried out by thematic KKN students of Andalas University spiritual revolution is the creation of a Nagari website, this program as a form of the Indonesian service movement. This Website Creation begins with training activities and introduction to the Nagari website created by Andalas University, namely the village Information System and the submission of the website that has been made to Nagari Lubuk Karak with the address "website lubuk-karak.sisnag.com."

Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by lack of nutritional intake for a long time in the first 1000 days of life (HPK), which is a critical period, resulting in growth disorders in children, namely the child's height is lower or shorter (short) than the legal age. Stunting in West Sumatra increased by 5.1%, from 25.5% in 2016 to 30.6% in 2017. Pauh Health Center is the health center with the highest stunting incidence in Padang City, 31%. The activity aims to increase the knowledge and healthy behavior of pregnant women and mothers under five to prevent stunting. The stunting-themed educational activity was carried out on five cadre representatives from each kelurahan and 21 respondents consisting of 10 pregnant women and 11 mothers with toddlers. This activity is carried out through social media Whatsapp. Through this social media, devotees create groups and deliver materials using leaflets that have been previously designed as a health promotion tool. The distributed leaflet was entitled Prevent Stunting with Diet, Clean and Healthy Lifestyle During the First 1000 Days of Life. The educational activities went well and received a good response and enthusiasm from the respondents. This is shown by respondents' enthusiasm to ask questions and share information obtained through their social media accounts. The education provided was also well conveyed as indicated by the increase in respondents' knowledge regarding stunting by comparing the pre-test and post-test results. For this reason, educational activities using social media need to be continuously implemented to increase public knowledge, especially the nutritionally vulnerable groups, namely pregnant women and toddlers.

Abstract

COVID-19 cases in West Sumatra have shown a significant increase in the past month. To accelerate the handling of COVID-19, the government implemented Large-Scale Social Restrictions started on April 22, 2020. Enforcement is also carried out in Padang which has the highest number of COVID-19 cases with 107 positive confirmed cases with 12 deaths. Efforts to prevent the spread of this virus can be carried out through collaborative community service activities between educational institutions and urban villages in Padang City. One of these activities was community service activities held in Jati, East Padang District, Padang City, namely through educational activities using leafleat and posters as promotion media then also donating masks to improve people's healthy behavior. Promotional media were distributed to the public due to situations that make it impossible to carry out activities by gathering many people in one place. The activity went well, received a good response from the village head and all village officials. Media and donations were distributed by the village head especially for poor families and low access to information. Monitoring and evaluation were needed from the village and service providers in increasing the implementation of healthy behavior by the community.

Abstract

Penyakit Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Hasil riset kesehatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kejadian DM terutama tipe 2 di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan kadar HbA1c anggota klub prolanis Diabetes Melitus tipe 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh anggota Klub Prolanis Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya dan Puskesmas Ambacang, Kota Padang berjumlah 92 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah anggota Klub Prolanis Diabetes Melitus tipe 2 di Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya dan Puskesmas Ambacang berjumlah 83 orang yang diambil secara simple random sampling. Kuesioner terstruktur dipergunakan dalam menggali informasi tentang asupan makanan, aktifitas fisik dan karakteristik sampel penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square, T-independent dan regresi linier ganda dengan Program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asupan energi (Pv=0,021), serat (Pv=0,005) dan aktifitas fisik (Pv=0,001) berhubungan secara bermakna dengan peningkatan kadar HbA1C anggota Klub Prolanis Diabetes Melitus tipe 2. Aktifitas fisik merupakan faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan peningkatan kadar HbA1c anggota Klub Prolanis Diabetes Melitus tipe 2 (Pv=0,001; β=-0,425). Perlunya kombinasi antara pengaturan makanan yang seimbang dan aktifitas fisik yang teratur dalam menjaga kadar HbA1c sehingga anggota klub memiliki status kesehatan yang terkontrol.

Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 yang melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia yang dapat menyebabkan kematian menuntut masyarakat untuk melakukan upaya pencegahan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan supaya tidak terkena COVID-19 adalah dengan mengkonsumsi makanan yang bergizi terutama makanan yang dapat meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku gizi keluarga dalam meningkatkan imunitas tubuh selama Pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional, sampel penelitian adalah ibu dari mahasiswa FKM Unand yang mengambil mata kuliah Dasar Ilmu Gizi Kesehatan Masyarakat. Data diambil menggunakan angket online. Analisis bivariat menggunakan Uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis menemukan pengetahuan dan sikap responden mengenai upaya gizi dalam meningkatkan imunitas tubuh selama Pandemi COVID-19 cukup baik (84,9%; 93,3). Namun perilaku responden mengenai upaya gizi dalam meningkatkan imunitas tubuh selama Pandemi COVID-19 kategori rendah (>55%). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap perilaku keluarga dalam upaya gizi dalam meningkatkan imunitas tubuh selama Pandemi COVID-19 (nilai p > 0,05), tetapi ada kecenderungan persentase responden dengan pengetahuan dan sikap kurang baik lebih banyak memiliki perilaku kurang baik. Dengan demikian diharapkan ada upaya edukasi yang terus disampaikan kepada masyarakat oleh institusi kesehatan dan institusi pendidikan kesehatan dengan melibatkan tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat sehingga perilaku masyarakat lebih baik.
