Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to review the current literature on the implementation of a learning management system (LMS) from a student perspective during the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, we develop a conceptualization and development of a hypothesis related to the implementation of (LMS) by using a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Using a qualitative literature review, we establish a new model and six hypotheses regarding the relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, personal innovativeness, LMS adoption, and learning performance. This model can be examined by future research.

Abstract

A sustainable decline in judges’ performance is very risky for the future of justice, especially in the religious context. Therefore, the present study aims to evaluate religious judges’ performance by the impact of job satisfaction and job motivation. The questionnaires were distributed on two target criteria. They are 32 persons on each, so a total of 64 judges have participated. The questionnaire distribution process is online, then the feedback data is analyzed with the assistance of SPSS’s latest version. The result stated job satisfaction has no significant effects on judge performance, both mutation within province and inter-province. While job motivation has a significant effect on judge performance who have experienced mutation within and inter-province. These results suggest future research to investigate another factor that affects performance in the religious court because judge performance is really important to the effectiveness of religious courts.

Abstract

Employee performance investigation from justice perception is a must in government sector, especially in HR Division, because it is associated with their job function which operates in employee management. This study aims to investigates the effect of interactional justice and procedural justice on job performance, and assess mediating contribution of affective commitment due to it describe emotional attachment of employee. Recorded sample was 48 and then the data analyst with Smart PLS version 4.0.9. Results stated that interactional and procedural justice have not significant effects on performance in the direct manner. Mediating contribution of affective commitment enhance the relationship interactional justice and performance by partial effect, while in the relationship between procedural justice on performance, affective commitment also has a partial contribution but not improve those relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the performance of academic staff through an evaluating model mediation of transformational leadership, career development, and job satisfaction. Recorded, eighty-five respondents have participated in this study to help institutional development. By the assistance of Smart-PLS software to the feedback data, result shows that transformational leadership isn’t significant to performance and job satisfaction, while career development was found significant effect on job satisfaction but not performance. Mediating contribution of job satisfaction stated partial effects on both, but only enhance relationship between career development and performance.

Abstract

In the industrial sectors, retaining millennial employees by optimizing organizational support and suitability of workload is important to maintain the company's existence through human resources management, especially in the cement industry which requires employees with high-level integrity due to heavy work intensities. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze and determine the effect of perceived organizational support and workload on turnover intention, by using the mediating contribution of job satisfaction to permanent millennial employees in one of the cement industries in Indonesia. Recorded, as many as 100 permanent millennial employees from various departments have participated. In terms of feedback data responses, were analyzed with the assistance of IBM SPSS software and Smart-PLS's latest version. Results found that fifth-relationships are in line with the research expectations while not to the other two. A quantitative approach with an explanatory design was used, in which the data were collected through online method distribution with the assistance of Google-form questionnaires. In the techniques of analysis, this study uses Smart-PLS software's latest version to assist the structural equation model (Average Variance Extracted > 0,5, Composite Reliability > 0,7, HTMT < 0,85, and R-square > 0,33), and second-order path-analysis (T > 1,96 & P ≤ 0,05) while IBM SPSS latest version used to descriptive analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of job demands and work family conflict on organizational commitment through the mediation of burnout. The population in this study were employees of the West Sumatra Financial Services Authority (OJK). The sample collection technique is total sampling, that is, the entire population is sampled. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. Based on the results of research tests, it shows that job demand has a positive and significant effect on burnout. Work family conflict has no positive and significant effect on Burnout, Job demand has no positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment of employees, Work family conflict has no positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment, Burnout has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Commitment. indirectly, Job demand influences Organizational Commitment through Burnout as mediation and Work family conflict does not influence Organizational Commitment through Burnout as mediation West Sumatra Financial Services Authority employees.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of service quality and customer perceived value on customer This research aims to see the influence of job design and employee psychological empowerment on performance with motivation as a mediating variable for BPKP Representative Auditors in West Sumatra Province. The population is all BPKP Representative auditors from West Sumatra Province with a total of 93 people. The sample in the study was the entire population. Data analysis technique using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Smart PLS. Hypothesis testing uses one-tailed statistical analysis, the hypothesis is accepted if the t-statistic value is > 1.65 and the significance value is < 0.05. The research results show that there is no significant influence between job design on auditor performance, there is no significant influence between job design on motivation. There is a positive and significant influence between psychological empowerment on performance, there is a positive and significant influence between motivation on performance and there is a positive and significant influence between psychological empowerment on motivation. Meanwhile, motivation does not mediate the influence of work design on auditor performance and does not mediate the influence of psychological empowerment on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to test and assess the effect of remuneration on staff performance through work stress at Andalas University. A total, eighty staff participated and gave their true responses to the online questionnaires proposed. Then, it was analysed with the structural equation model technique by the assistance of SmartPLS software version 3 (SEM-PLS). The result shows that the mediating contribution of work stress did not significantly contribute to the relationship between remuneration and staff performance, but the direct effect of remuneration on staff performance was significant. These results also indicate that the level of staff stress at the Andalas University sis till in control and has no significant effect on performance.

Abstract

This study explores laundry business development strategies through a comprehensive and innovative approach at JM Laundry in Payakumbuh City. Qualitative methods were used to identify the business environment through a SWOT matrix, design innovative value through the blue ocean strategy, and visualise the strategy through business model canvas mapping. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with the owner, employees, and customers of JM Laundry. Data analysis was performed using triangulation techniques—data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that identifying the business environment, creating innovative value, and modelling the current business facilitate JM Laundry in describing a strategic business model through the design of a new, applicable business model canvas. JM Laundry can optimize its reach into the dormitory, hotel, and apartment segments; utilize nanotechnology washing machines that can recycle used washing water; leverage AI (Artificial Intelligence) and IoT (Internet of Things) technologies; utilize subscription-based services; optimize the use of specialized applications; and offer additional services such as Laundry Plus Cafe, which provides a promising point of differentiation. The practical implications provide the laundry business with an innovative and sustainable business strategy model, thereby enhancing its competitiveness in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the expansion strategy and preparations for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of CV Khawla Atelier through a comprehensive approach. Qualitative methods were used to analyze macro-level external factors through PESTEL analysis, identify the business environment through a SWOT Matrix, identify product-market growth opportunities through the Ansoff Matrix approach, and assess IPO readiness through an examination of financial, legal, and governance aspects, as well as corporate structure. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with the CEO, Production Manager, Finance Manager (internal), the Cooperative and SME Office of Payakumbuh City, and customers (external). Data analysis utilised triangulation techniques—data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings emphasise that an in-depth analysis of macro-level external factors, a comprehensive identification of the business environment and product-market growth potential, and an assessment of the current IPO readiness level provide CV Khawla Atelier with a better understanding of how to develop effective expansion strategies and prepare for an IPO more effectively. CV Khawla Atelier needs to optimize the drafting of formal employment contracts and wage structures, implement an inventory management system, optimize digital-based promotion and sales, add casual fashion models while maintaining ethnic and traditional elements for young people, patent its works through intellectual property registration, and improve production management and corporate management to accelerate the company's transformation into a legal entity (PT) as a prerequisite for conducting an IPO. Effective business strategies offer opportunities for the fashion business to grow and gain a competitive edge in the future.
