Abstract

Abstract. Teaching materials for electronic blood circulation systems based on electronic books were developed based on the lack of learning resources and media available in schools. This product development will make students learn independently and use learning resources that can be used anytime and anywhere. This study aims to produce products in the form of teaching materials for electronic bookbased circulatory systems in which there are media in the form of text, images, videos, virtual labs that are done through e-learning media (bioedukasi.com) and are valid. Electronic book-based teaching material developed using the Kvisoft application so that the display of teaching materials is like a printed book in general. The fundamental differences in teaching materials developed have a variety of media in the form of videos that can be played directly in teaching materials. The development research model conducted refers to the four D (4D) model initiated by Thiagarajan. Model four D (4D) consists of the defining stage (define), the design phase (design), the stage of development (develop) and the stage of deployment (disseminate). Based on the research results obtained that the product in the form of teaching materials based on electronic books and e-learning media (bioedukasi.com) is valid. The valid value of the teaching material obtained is 4.36 while the valid value of e-learning is 4.43. The two products produced are valid so it is feasible to use. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to develop humor-based teaching materials on environmental pollution material for class VII students who are valid and practical. This type of research is development research (R & D). The development of this magazine uses the ADDIE model. The ADDIE stage is analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This magazine's evaluation was evaluated by two expert validators. The results of the evaluation of biological humor comics by expert validators show that the biology humor comics are valid with a value of 4.49 (valid). The practicality of the product obtained from the teacher's response with a value of 83% (practical) and the response of students with a value of 81% (practical). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of biological humor comics in environmental pollution material is valid and practical. Keywords: comics, humor, teaching materials

Abstract

Abstract. The type of research is research and development (R & D). The purpose of this research was to develop of Biological learning module based on Scale Process Skills (SPS) on material structure and function of tissue animal that is valid and practical for Senior High School students. The development procedure used in this study is the ADDIE model which consists of five stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection was done through the validation process of the learning module and questionnaire responses of students and teachers to the learning module. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that SPS of based biology learning modules were "valid" and "very practical". Valid because the SPS of based biology learning module developed has fulfilled the validity criteria in the valid category. The learning module is said to be very practical because students and teachers respond very positively to the learning module. Keywords: biology module, science process skills, structure and function of  animals tissue

Abstract

Abstract. This study is the quasy experiment research that aimed to know the influence of Science Process Skills Approach to the Study Results of the Student Class VII SMPN 2 Wonomulyo in science subjects in the study of life organization systems. The independent variable in this study is the application of the science process skills approach and eksposotori, while the dependent variable is the learning outcomes of students on the material of life organization systems. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Wonomulyo as many as 6 classes, while the sample was class VII C as the experimental class and class VII B as the control class. In the experimental class, The experimental class was given treatment that was taught using a science process skills approach with 23 students and the control class using an expository approach with 23 students. The research data were obtained by giving a learning outcome test on the material of life organization systems in the form of a pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique is covariate analysis (Anacova). Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, it was found that P = 0.001 was smaller than α = 0.05. It can be concluded that the application of the science process skills approach (Science Process Skills) has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Class VII Students of SMP Negeri 2 Wonomulyo in science subjects in the study of life organization systems. Keywords:  science process skills approach, learning outcome, life organization  systems

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes and the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning model using E-Learning on the learning outcomes of class X MIPA students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. This research is a pre-experimental research design using One Group Pretest-Postest. The population in this study were students of class X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. The research sample was selected with a specific purpose (purposive sampling), namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations in order to obtain one class, namely class X MIPA 1, totaling 27 students. The data collection technique used is through tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the posttest mean score of 74.07 was higher than the posttest average score of 28.74. Based on the results of the data analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students who are taught with the flipped classroom model have an average value that is in the good category and the Flipped Classroom learning model is effective on student learning outcomes on virus material for Class X MIPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Bone. Keywords: learning models, Flipped Classroom, learning outcome

Abstract

Abstract. This study is a quantitative descriptive research that aims to examine the Biology teachers’ perception on authentic assessment in SMAN (public senior high schools), the implementation of authentic assessment in Biology learning, and the inhibiting factors of Biology teachers in implementing authentic assessment at SMAN in Makassar City. The research population were 23 SMAN in Makassar City. Of the 23 schools, only 16 schools had teachers willing to be respondents or the sample of the study with the total of 35 Biology teachers at SMAN in Makassar city. Data collection techniques employed observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study reveal that the Biology teachers’ perception on authentic assessment is categorized as Very Good, while the implementation of authentic assessment by Biology teachers at SMAN in Makassar City which includes the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains is categorized as Very Good as well, where the teachers assess the knowledge competency by giving written and oral assignments to students, in the affective domain the Biology teachers at SMAN in Makassar City assess each student during and after learning, and in the psychomotor domain the teachers conducts an assessment by giving project assignments, portfolios, and products to students both individually and in groups. The inhibiting factors encountered by Biology teachers in authentic assessment overall have similarities, namely limited time in assessing, lack of students’ motivation in learning, and lack of availability of facilities and infrastructure in Biology Laboratory. Keywords: Authentic Assessment, Perception, Assessment Implementation, Assessment Inhibiting Factors

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the biology learning outcomes of high school students in the circulatory system topic. This is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The population in this study comprised all eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The research sample included class XI Biology 5 as the control class and XI Biology 7 as the experimental class, selected through random sampling. The research instrument consisted of a multiple-choice test with 25 questions. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests in the form of ANCOVA tests. The analysis results showed that the learning outcomes of students in the class taught using the PBL model, with an average pretest score of 31.12, categorized as poor and very poor, significantly improved, marked by an average posttest score of 86, categorized as very good and good. The ANCOVA test results showed a sig. value of < 0.05, indicating that the problem-based learning model has an effect on the biology learning outcomes of high school students.Keyword: learning outcomes, problem-based learning
