Abstract

Menua atau menjadi tua adalah suatu keadaan yang terjadi dalam siklus kehidupan seorang manusia. Keluhan kesehatan lansia yang paling tinggi adalah keluhan yang merupakan efek dari penyakit kronis seperti asam urat, darah tinggi, rematik, darah rendah dan diabetes. Pemanfaatan herbal untuk pemeliharaan kesehatan dan gangguan penyakit hingga saat ini sangat dibutuhkan dan perlu dikembangkan, terutama dengan melonjaknya biaya pengobatan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit degeneratif melalui bumbu dapur yang murah, mudah didapat dan mudah diolah oleh masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat adalah pelaksanaan edukasi dan demonstrasi olahan bumbu dapur. Hasil kegiatan ini tim pelaksana memberikan edukasi tentang pemanfaatan tanaman obat, dilanjutkan dengan demonstrasi cara mengolah tanaman herbal dan diakhiri dengan pemantauan pemanfaatan lahan. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini menunjukkan warga masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan masih rendah mengenai pemanfaatan bumbu dapur untuk kesehatannya, sehingga perlu pendampingan dari berbagai pihak.

Abstract

Keakuratan hasil laboratorium dipengaruhi oleh stabilitas spesimen selama proses pengiriman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat inovasi berupa spesimen container transport berbasis thermoelectric cooler system yang diberi nama Bio-Porter dalam mempertahankan stabilitas spesimen klinis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pra Experimental dengan rancangan penelitian berupa One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian adalah spesimen darah yang diambil dengan  teknik accidental sampling pada mahasiswa berjumlah 5 orang yang diberi perlakuan yakni penyimpanan spesimen darah dalam Bio-Porter pada suhu 6℃ selama 12 jam dan 24 jam lalu diukur kadar kolesterol total dan glukosa darah. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik Oneway Anova diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,857 yang  berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna  terhadap stabilitas spesimen pada spesimen darah sebelum dan setelah disimpan dalam Bio-Porter suhu 6℃ selama 12 jam dan 24 jam. Sehingga Bio-Porter sebagai specimen container transport berbasis thermoelectric cooler system dapat mempertahankan stabilitas spesimen.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In tuberculosis patients increased levels of uric acid in the blood. Hyperuricemia is the levels of uric acid in the blood that exceeds the normal limits. The research objective in this study was to determine the correlation between the levels of uric acid in the blood and uric acid crystals in the urine in patients with tuberculosis accompanied by hyperuricemia. The research method used in this study was survey analytic with a cross sectional approach. The research used in this study population was all patients with tuberculosis who check in Health Centers of Mataram and samples total of 24 people. Data analysis used a statistical test Spearman Rank correlation. The results showed that levels of uric acid in the blood that is 8.2 mg/dl while on uric acid crystals in urine mean 0.6/fild of view uric acid crystals. The results indicated a correlation between the levels of uric acid in the blood and uric acid crystals in the urine in patients with tuberculosis accompanied by hyperuricemia. The results of the statistical test Rank Spearman showed a p value of 0.041 < 0.05 and the results of the coefficient correlation showed a value -0.419, its mean the strength of the correlation is medium. The conclusion of this study is that the patients with tuberculosis accompanied by hyperuricemia there is a correlation between the levels of uric acid in the blood and uric acid crystals in the urine.

Abstract

Sources of nutrition especially sufficient protein, is needed for the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Synthetic media is the most common medium for growing Staphylococcus aureus. Peanut is a biological source in nature with a higher protein content than synthetic materials which can be used as an alternative. Objective to determine the morphology and biochemical properties of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria grown on alternative media of peanut flour (Arachis hypogaea L.) as a medium for bacterial growth. This is a True-Experiment study with a completely randomized design. The experimental unit consists of five variations in the concentration of peanut alternative media. The sampling technique was done by simple random sampling. Data analysis used Descriptive. Staphylococcus aureus bacteria can grow at all concentrations of alternative media of peanut flour. The colony size at concentration of 2% was very small with weakly fermented mannitol. Meanwhile a concentration of 3% to 5% produces moderately fermented mannitol. The concentration of 6% is the concentration with the most widely fermented mannitol. The biochemical tests of all concentrations yielded positive catalase and coagulase, and the sugar test yielded positive reactions. An alternative medium of peanut flour can be used as a medium for the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with the most effective concentration of 6%.

Abstract

Carbohydrate diet is a diet pattern that reduces carbohydrate consumption. Therefore, the body will use fat as an alternative energy source. The continuous use of fat causes the accumulation of fatty acids so that it often causes ketone positivity in the urine. Objective : Find out the effect of a carbohydrate diet program on the positivity of urine ketones. Method : This research is an analytic observational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample used was urine from respondents who had been on a carbohydrate diet for 1 year, 2 years and 3 years, then urine ketones were examined using the dipstick method. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square test with a confidence value (α = 0.05). Result : The sample in this study amounted to 45 samples, with a total of 23 samples of positive ketones and 22 samples of negative ketones. The results of the Chi Square test obtained an Asymp. sig value of 0.009 <0.05 (α) which indicates that the carbohydrate diet program has a significant effect on the positivity of urine ketones.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kasus Covid-19 yang masih ada khususnya di Kota Mataram, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dampak dari pemberlakuan PPKM disejumlah daerah, membuat masyarakat semakin terbatas dalam aktivitas bekerja, bahkan diantaranya harus di PHK, sehingga berdampak pada pendapatan mereka. Padahal kondisi covid-19 saat ini masyarakat dituntut sehat dengan berbagai cara untuk meningkatkan imunitas tubuh, sehingga perlu adanya alternatif pencegahan agar kondisi tetap sehat Metode: Solusi yang ditawarkan melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah penggunaan rempah-rempah ini dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kekebalan tubuh terhadap covid-19 dengan biaya yang murah dan dapat diperoleh dengan mudah. 1) tahap perencanaan adalah: (a) Mengadakan pertemuan dengan Kepala Desa/kelurahan. (b). Mengadakan pertemuan dengan anggota pengabmas terkait penyusunan olahan rempah. 2) Tindakan adalah pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat. 3) Evaluasi. Hasil: kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sangat antusias dan terjadi diskusi setelah penjelasan materi. Kesimpulan: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan baik dan berdampak positif bagi masyarakat. Masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan rempah-rempah di sekitarnya untuk diolah menjadi ramuan yang menyehatkan, selain itu penanaman TOGA menjadi solusi bagi masyarakat untuk hidup lebih sehat.

Abstract

Physical activity is body movement that requires skeletal muscles and can cause energy expenditure. Physical activity is divided into three, namely light, moderate and heavy physical activity. Construction workers who carry out heavy physical activity for 7 to 8 hours every day can lose a lot of energy and fluids as well as important micronutrients, one of which is iron. Apart from carrying out heavy physical activities, construction workers also have an active smoking habit, which means they are considered active smokers if they smoke more than 20 cigarettes every day. Smoking is something that can cause health problems and smoking has become the biggest cause of death in the world. Cigarette raw materials such as tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide are the main toxicants that can trigger the formation of free radicals. The Research objective is to determine the description of SGPT levels in construction workers who have an active smoking habit. The methods of this research design is descriptive observational research where this research was carried out using the enzymatic kinetic method a total of 28 samples based on calculations using the Slovin formula. The results of the research is examining SGPT levels in construction workers from 28 samples showed an increase in active smokers 11-15 years, namely 3 samples and active smokers 16-20 years, namely 2 samples, there was an increase or were outside the normal value, which is where the normal value of SGPT levels in men -men, namely 42 U/L. The conclusion of this research is showed that 5 of the 28 samples had increased SGPT levels with levels of 63 U/L, 58 U/L, 52 U/L and 49 U/L in 2 samples.

Abstract

Background: The integration of Primary Health Care (PHC) services is crucial for improving health outcomes and efficiency in health systems globally. Nursing professionals play a critical role in delivering these integrated services. Understanding their contribution and the impact of their involvement is essential for optimising PHC delivery. The objective of this systematic review is to evaluate the roles and contributions of nursing professionals in the delivery of integrated primary healthcare services. Methods: A comprehensive search strategy will be implemented across electronic databases, including PubMed, CINAHL, and Cochrane Library, to identify relevant studies. Studies published from [start date] to [end date] will be considered. Two independent reviewers will screen titles and abstracts for eligibility, followed by a full-text review of potentially relevant articles. Data extraction and quality appraisal will be conducted using standardised forms. A narrative synthesis will be performed to analyse and summarise the findings. Conclusion: This systematic review will provide evidence on the contributions of nursing professionals to integrated primary health care delivery. The findings will recommend policy and practice in primary health care services.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Lari marathon merupakan salah satu contoh Latihan fisik kategori berat dimana, intensitas olahraga berat dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kadar protein urine. Peningkatan eksresi protein yang berlebihan pada urine setelah Latihan fisik dapat terjadi karena, pada saat melakukan Latihan fisik aliran darah menuju ginjal berkurang dan menyebabkan terganggunya fungsi glomerulus dan tubulus ginjal. Protein merupakan polimer asam amino yang diikat oleh ikatan peptide yang akan dimetabolisme oleh organ hati dan ginjal, normalnya pada setiap manusia yang sehat terdapat ± 150 mg protein dikeluarkan kedalam urine setiap harinya. Tujuan penelitian : mengetahui perbedaan kadar protein urine pada pelari marathon Wira Bhakti Club (WBC) berasarkan frekuensi latihan. Metode penelitian :rancangan penelitian ii merupakan penelitian yang bersifat obsevasional analitik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian : hasil pemeriksaan kadar protein dalam urine sebelum melakukan Latihan lari marathon adalah seluruh sampel negatif, setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan hasil protein urine setelah Latihan dari 30 sampel 21 negatif dam 9 sampel positif (+), dans etelah 1 hari istirhata latihan dilakukan pemeriksaan hasil protein urine menunjukkan 30 sampel yang diteliti 22 sampel negatif dan 8 sampel positif (+). Kesimpulan :hasil penelitian didapatkan peningkatan yang signifikan (p=0,005) kadar protein urine setelah melakukan Latihan fisik lari marathon.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Sebagian besar purin yang dihasilkan dari makanan akan di produksi menjadi asam urat. Purin terdapat dalam semua jenis bahan pangan yang mengandung protein nabati mauapun hewani seperti jeroan, daging, sayur bayam, seafood dan kacang-kacangan. Kandungan purin yang sangat tinggi sebagian besar terdapat pada protein hewani, sementara protein nabati dan beberapa jenis sayuran mempunyai kandungan purin yang dinilai dapat meningkatkan asam urat. Tujuan Penelitian : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar asam urat antara komunitas vegetarian lacto-ovo dengan non vegetarian. Metode Penelitian : penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik non probability sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sampel T-Test. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil rata – rata kadar asam urat pada vegetarian lacto – ovo dan non vegetarian yaitu 5,77 mg/dL dan 6,19 mg/dL. Uji t-Tes: P = 0,184 Kesimpulan : Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kadar asam urat antara komunitas vegetarian lacto-ovo dengan nonvegetarian yaitu p = 0,184 ≥ α = 0,05.
