Abstract

Prof. Amin Abdullah has a scientific integration mindset based on theory in accordance with understanding modern dynamics. Furthermore, Prof. Amin Abdullah has a mindset related to solving complex world problems today that cannot only be solved through the approach of one field or one discipline. The purpose of writing is to explain Prof. Amin Abdullah's thoughts in the integration of Islamic sciences. The method used is a qualitative research type through a literature review approach. The findings are that the Spider Web theory is a model integrated by Prof. Amin Abdullah. This aims to complete the science of needed connections between human reason, the universe, and the Qur'an. Based on the implementation of this theory, it can have an impact on answering the challenges of modernity and building epistemological foundations contextually, dynamically, and inclusively.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah memicu perubahan signifikan dalam sistem pendidikan global, termasuk pendidikan Islam yang berakar pada wahyu dan prinsip-prinsip maqasid al-shari'ah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peluang, batasan, dan solusi adaptasi untuk integrasi AI dalam pendidikan Islam dalam konteks Society 5.0. Teknik yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metodologi penelitian literatur, termasuk penilaian kritis terhadap literatur primer dan sekunder yang bersumber dari basis data global dan dokumen kebijakan resmi selama dekade terakhir. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa AI memiliki potensi besar dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran personalisasi, memastikan akses pendidikan yang adil di daerah terpencil, memfasilitasi otomatisasi berbasis data, dan mendorong pembuatan materi interaktif yang selaras dengan kemajuan teknologi. Namun, penerapan AI menghadapi banyak hambatan, termasuk infrastruktur teknis yang tidak memadai, literasi digital yang rendah di kalangan pendidik, bias algoritmik yang mungkin terjadi, kurangnya aturan keamanan data yang kuat, dan penolakan budaya terhadap modernisasi. Implikasi dari temuan ini menyoroti kebutuhan akan strategi adaptif yang komprehensif dan berorientasi nilai, mencakup peningkatan infrastruktur digital, penyusunan kurikulum terintegrasi, penyelenggaraan pelatihan profesional, pembentukan ekosistem pembelajaran Islam yang kredibel, dan promosi literasi digital dengan fokus pada kesadaran etis. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi konseptual dalam penyusunan kebijakan pendidikan Islam kreatif yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip spiritual dan tuntutan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh pengelolaan diri, kecerdasan emosional, dan kecerdasan spiritualterhadap kemampuan menghafal Al Qur’an pada santri MTs di Pondok Pesantren Al Manshur Popongan Tegalgondo Wonosari Klaten tahun 2010. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif untuk menguji hipotesis. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 206 santri yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: (1) Terdapat pengaruh pengelolaan diri terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil t-hitung sebesar 11,513 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05; (2) Terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil t-hitung 14,496 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000< 0,05; (3) Terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil t-hitung sebesar 15,412 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05; (4) Terdapat pengaruh pengelolaan diri dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil F-hitung sebesar 119,345 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05; (5) Terdapat pengaruh pengelolaan diri dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil F-hitung sebesar 140,896 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05; (6) Terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil F-hitung sebesar 156,480 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000< 0,05; (7) Terdapat pengaruh pengelolaan diri,kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kemampuan menghafal, dengan hasil F-hitung sebesar 108,458 dengan nilai signifikasi 0,000 < 0,05. Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values instilled by Ustadzah and the strategies used in shaping the students' character at Darussholihat Islamic Boarding School in Andong Boyolali, as well as to evaluate the results of implementing these strategies. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the moral values instilled include honesty, discipline, piety (wara’), responsibility, love for Allah SWT, and acceptance of His decrees. The strategies applied by Ustadzah utilize behavioristic and social constructivist approaches. The behavioristic approach emphasizes reward and punishment, habituation of worship, shaping techniques, and self-reflection. Meanwhile, the social constructivist approach is manifested through peer mentoring, collaborative learning, and discussions on moral values. This strategy has proven effective in shaping students' character to be disciplined, self-aware, and in fostering a learning environment that supports moral development. The intensive role of the Ustadzah as a 24-hour mentor is key to the success of this strategy.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of Work Life Balance (WLB) for teachers and educational staff in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). The boarding system requires educators to be active around the clock, which often leads to stress, emotional exhaustion, and decreased teaching motivation. Findings indicate that implementing welfare-based management—such as work schedule rotation, proportional workload distribution, and social support from leaders—has a positive impact on teachers’ motivation and psychological well-being. Spiritual values such as sincerity (ikhlas) and reliance on God (tawakal) also strengthen their psychological resilience. Therefore, the application of WLB in pesantren should be grounded in humane policies and Islamic values to achieve harmony between work productivity, worship, and personal life. Pesantren can thus serve as a model of holistic human resource management that integrates both worldly and spiritual well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the human resource management system (HR) at the Daar El Qolam 3 Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang as a model of modern Islamic education management that integrates spiritual values with the principles of professionalism. This research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the management of teaching and education personnel, (2) the management of students through an integrated education and parenting system, and (3) the management and empowerment of alumni as part of the sustainability strategy of the Islamic boarding school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of internal documents of the pesantren, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model.  The findings show that HR management at Daar El Qolam 3 operates in a systematic and value-based manner. Faculty management is carried out through selective recruitment, training, competency certification, and performance evaluation based on moral and spiritual values. Student management is carried out in an integrative manner, combining academic education and character development through the MUMTAZA student organization as well as leadership and social programs. Alumni management is carried out through IKADEQ, an alumni organization that functions as a platform for collaboration and strengthening academic, social, and international networks with foreign universities.  This study concludes that the success of HR management in Daar El Qolam 3 is supported by the internalization of Islamic values such as sincerity, simplicity, brotherhood, and responsibility into the modern managerial system. This model increases the attractiveness and competitiveness of Islamic boarding schools in the global era and serves as a reference for other Islamic educational institutions in building professional, spiritual, and sustainable human resource management.

Abstract

The crisis of values in modern education has created an urgent need for an Islamic education paradigm that is both intellectually focused and morally and spiritually transformational. This research seeks to thoroughly examine Buya Hamka's Islamic educational philosophy by highlighting the aspects of morality, spirituality, and nationality via a humanistic-transcendental lens. This study employs qualitative methods, including literature reviews and thematic analysis of primary texts such as Modern Sufism, Lembaga Budi, and Falsafah Hidup, to compile key conceptual categories: Sufi moral education, the integration of reason and revelation, humanist spirituality, and prophetic national education. The study's findings indicate that, according to Hamka, education is a blend of reason, spiritual ethics, and social responsibility aimed at cultivating an ideal human being. This study's contribution is the reinterpretation of Islamic educational philosophy that addresses the issues posed by Generation Z and the secularisation crisis in contemporary education. These results have significant implications for the reformulation of the Islamic education curriculum, the enhancement of teacher ability grounded on spiritual principles, and the development of a holistic educational paradigm in Indonesia and the broader Islamic world.

Abstract

Hubungan interpersonal yang harmonis antara guru dan siswa merupakan fondasipenting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Konflik yang tidakterselesaikan dapat mengganggu proses pembelajaran dan mempengaruhikesejahteraan psikologis peserta didik maupun pendidik. Oleh karena itu,penerapan strategi manajemen konflik yang efektif diperlukan untuk membangundan meningkatkan kualitas hubungan interpersonal guru-siswa. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di MTsN 3Boyolali. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi,kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapenerapan strategi komunikasi terbuka, mediasi, dan pembinaan emosionalmampu mengurangi konflik dan meningkatkan hubungan interpersonal yangpositif. Disarankan agar pihak sekolah lebih aktif dalam pelaksanaan pelatihanmanajemen konflik dan memperkuat kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua.

Abstract

This research seeks to investigate the conceptual synergy between M. Amin Abdullah’s integrative-interconnective epistemology and the use of artificial intelligence in Islamic education in the context of the Industrial Revolution 5.0. The study used a qualitative library technique to critically analyze original philosophical texts, peer-reviewed journal papers, and policy documents, therefore constructing a theoretical framework that contextualizes AI within Islamic educational principles. The investigation revealed that the majority of current methods for AI integration in education mostly emphasize technical and practical dimensions, neglecting the ethical and epistemological factors crucial to Islamic pedagogy. The results demonstrate that Abdullah's framework offers a thorough basis for integrating technical innovation with the spiritual, ethical, and intellectual aspects of knowledge. This research presents a conceptual paradigm that directs curriculum creation, policy design, and teacher capacity enhancement, guaranteeing that AI implementation upholds the maqashid sharia and the cultural integrity of Islamic institutions. The study offers a unique viewpoint by illustrating that AI may serve as a catalyst for epistemic renewal when aligned with a cohesive Islamic framework. These findings are anticipated to guide next empirical research and facilitate the development of contextually relevant digital transformation initiatives in Islamic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the sports class management strategy at MTsN 6 Sragen and its impact on the image of the madrasah. The establishment of dedicated sports classes in educational institutions in Indonesia, including religious-based schools, is a relevant innovation for optimizing student potential, both in academic and non-academic areas. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, such as the madrasah principal, program coordinator, sports teachers, and students. The results identified four main themes: (1) sports class management as a form of educational innovation, (2) the role of sports in character building and the image of the madrasah, and (3) challenges faced in implementing sports classes, and (4) contributions within the community to strengthen madrasa branding. Despite various obstacles, such as limited facilities and budget, sports classes have great potential to contribute to improving the image of madrasas and developing student character. This study also highlights the importance of support from internal stakeholders and the external community in ensuring the successful management of sports classes and enhancing the reputation of madrasas. The findings of this study provide an overview of the importance of integrating sports into educational strategies and its impact on comprehensive student character development, which in turn can strengthen the positive image of the institution.
