Abstract

The main problem addressed in this research is the challenges in implementing supervisory practices based on Islamic principles, particularly due to cultural barriers, lack of understanding, and conflicting values within diverse organizational settings. The objective of the study is to explore strategies for incorporating Islamic values into supervisory practices, focusing on decision-making, conflict resolution, and fostering collaboration. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing a descriptive-analytic method. Data is gathered from literature on Islamic management principles, leadership studies, and empirical cases of supervisory practices in Islamic organizations. The study emphasizes the role of empathy, justice, and integrity in creating a positive work environment. The findings suggest that educating managers on Islamic ethical practices and promoting cultural competence can effectively overcome barriers to implementing Islamic supervisory principles. Integrating Islamic values into management practices improves organizational ethics, enhances employee satisfaction, and fosters a more inclusive and productive work culture.

Abstract

This research explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) as a central theme in the educational setting, with a particular emphasis on its ethical implications. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze ethical issues that arise due to the integration of AI in the learning process, as well as provide ethical recommendations in its implementation. This research uses a library research method by reviewing academic literature, research reports, and public policies related to AI and education. The results show that while AI provides significant benefits in terms of learning personalization, administrative efficiency, and educational accessibility, its use also poses serious ethical risks, such as violations of student data privacy, algorithmic bias, technology access gaps, and reduced social interaction in the teaching-learning process. In conclusion, the application of AI in education requires a strong ethical and regulatory framework to ensure fairness, transparency, and protection of the rights and dignity of students. Teachers continue to play an important role in overseeing the use of AI, ensuring that technology is a tool, not a substitute for human values in education.

Abstract

This research rigorously reexamines Amin Abdullah's integrative-interconnected epistemology to provide a pedagogical framework suitable for modern Islamic education. Although Abdullah's framework has profoundly impacted the reformation of Islamic epistemology in Indonesian higher education, its practical application at the pedagogical level is still lacking development. This research utilizes a qualitative library research approach and theme analysis to integrate primary and secondary materials systematically, therefore connecting epistemological Theory with classroom practice. Research indicates that although epistemological integration has influenced institutional curriculum, it has not been implemented in instructional design, learning methodologies, and evaluation models in Islamic Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI). This research presents a context-sensitive educational paradigm grounded on Abdullah's transdisciplinary, dialogical, and ethical principles. The paradigm prioritizes thematic-integrative learning, critical analysis of religious texts, and the cultivation of social and moral literacy within the classroom environment. This work enhances the debate on Islamic educational reform by converting epistemological notions into instructional practice, contributing both theoretically and practically. The suggested method not only improves educational significance but also establishes Islamic education as a transformational entity by 21st-century requirements.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan dikotomi ilmu agama dan umum, yang berdampak pada polarisasi pemikiran dan kemunduran peradaban Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran dan kontribusi Prof. Dr. KH. Imam Suprayogo, M.Pd., sebagai tokoh pendidikan Islam yang berperan dalam mengintegrasikan kedua bidang keilmuan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, mengumpulkan data dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan karya tulis Imam Suprayogo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Imam Suprayogo menawarkan paradigma integratif berbasis tauhid melalui metafora "pohon ilmu", di mana akar, batang, dan cabang ilmu saling terkait dalam satu kesatuan. Konsep Tarbiyah Ulul-Albab yang digagasnya—menggabungkan aspek dzikir (spiritual), fikr (intelektual), dan amal shalih (aksi nyata)—telah diimplementasikan di UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang melalui kurikulum terpadu, Ma’had Aly, dan penguatan bahasa Arab. Pemikiran ini relevan dengan tantangan pendidikan modern, seperti globalisasi dan digitalisasi, karena menekankan keseimbangan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai agama. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi keilmuan ala Imam Suprayogo dapat menjadi solusi untuk membentuk generasi yang holistik, serta merekomendasikan pengadopsian konsep ini secara lebih luas di lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

Fenomena transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan menghadapi tantangan serius berupa sekularisasi ilmu, fragmentasi kurikulum, dan dikotomi ilmu agama dan umum. Ketimpangan dalam aspek ilmu agama dan umum, melemahnya nilai-nilai spiritual dan intelektual pada sistem pendidikan menjadi problem krusial. Muhammad Natsir, sebagai tokoh pendidikan dan pemikir Muslim Indonesia, menawarkan solusi dengan konsep pendidikan yang menyatukan dimensi spiritual dan intelektual, yang berpijak pada nilai tauhid sebagai landasan utama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi paradigma pendidikan Islam yang integral dan harmonis berdasarkan pemikiran Muhammad Natsir serta relevansinya di era transformasi digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research) terhadap karya-karya dan pemikiran Muhammad Natsir. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa paradigma pendidikan ala Muhammad Natsir mampu menghilangkan dikotomi ilmu melalui  pendekatan integral dan harmonis dalam mengembangkan pendidikan Islam yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital tanpa kehilangan nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian merekomendasikan revitalisasi konsep pendidikan Islam dalam bentuk implementasi pembelajaran yang menjawab tantangan zaman melalui pemikiran M. Natsir dalam pendekatan pendidikan yang integral dan harmonis.

Abstract

The dichotomy between religious and secular sciences within the Islamic intellectual tradition has led to a stagnation of thought and a weakened ability to respond to contemporary challenges holistically. This study aims to critically examine the integration-interconnection paradigm proposed by Prof. Amin Abdullah as a framework for reconstructing a holistic and contextual Islamic epistemology. Employing a qualitative approach, the research applies library research and content analysis methods on his primary works and related literature. The findings reveal that Amin Abdullah’s paradigm, illustrated through a “spider web” metaphor, emphasizes the interrelatedness between religious, social, and natural sciences. His integration of three epistemological approaches—bayani (textual), burhani (rational), and irfani (spiritual)—provides a dialogical framework for contextual Islamic understanding. The paradigm proves relevant in addressing contemporary issues such as the environmental crisis through multidisciplinary engagement that bridges revelation and empirical science. These findings affirm Amin Abdullah's significant contribution to the development of an inclusive, transformative, and context-responsive Islamic scientific paradigm. Keywords: Knowledge integration; interconnection; Amin Abdullah; Islamic epistemology; religious and scientific knowledge; contemporary issues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemikiran Hasan Langgulung mengenai pendidikan Islam dalam keluarga serta relevansinya di era digital dan globalisasi. Hasan Langgulung merupakan salah satu cendekiawan Muslim yang pemikirannya banyak berkontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam yang integratif dan holistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh dari karya-karya Hasan Langgulung serta literatur pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam dalam keluarga menurut Hasan Langgulung harus mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, dengan peran orang tua sebagai pendidik utama melalui metode keteladanan, pembiasaan, dialog, nasehat, dan evaluasi. Selain itu, pendidikan keluarga harus dimulai sejak dini dan dilakukan secara sistematis untuk membentuk karakter anak yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, dan cerdas. Dalam konteks era digital dan globalisasi, pemikiran Hasan Langgulung tetap relevan karena menekankan pentingnya penguatan nilai-nilai Islam, pengawasan terhadap penggunaan media digital, serta pembentukan kecerdasan spiritual untuk menyaring informasi. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam dalam keluarga menjadi benteng utama dalam membentuk generasi Muslim yang tangguh menghadapi tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ideas of Islamic education thought by K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, a great cleric who made significant contributions to the Islamic education system in Indonesia in the early 20th century, focusing on his efforts to overcome the educational gap caused by Dutch colonialism and reform traditional education to be more relevant to the challenges of the times. In this study Using qualitative descriptive methods and literature studies, this study found that K.H. Ahmad Dahlan initiated the concept of integrating religious knowledge and general knowledge, established schools that combined the two fields (such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Diniyah in 1911), and modernized learning methods that were useful for creating a "cleric-intellect" who was faithful and steadfast, knowledgeable, and physically and mentally strong. In conclusion, K.H. Ahmad Dahlan's thoughts on the integration of knowledge, modernization, and character education remain very relevant in facing the challenges of contemporary Islamic education, such as globalization and technological developments, to form a generation that is intelligent, moral, and globally competitive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif lebih banyak menjelaskan, mendeskripsikan dan lebih banyak menganalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan induktif. Penelitian kualitatif lebih mengutamakan proses dan makna yang didasari sudut pandang atau penilaian dari sisi subjek. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1). Kepala sekolah sebagai pimpinan sekolah harus mempunyai berbagai kompetensi dan keterampilan antara lain; keterampilan konseptual, keterampilan manusiawi, dan keterampilan teknik. Kegiatan pokok yang harus diemban kepala sekolah yaitu merencaranakan, mengorganisasi, mengkooordinasi, memantau, serta menilai atau mengevaluasi dalam bingkai manajemen sekolah. Ada tujuh peran kepala sekolah yang harus diamalkan dalam bentuk tindakan nyata di sekolah/madrasah yang disingkat dengan EMASLIM, yaitu peran sebagai educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator dan motivator. 2). Manajemen Sekolah di MIN 2 Surakarta meliputi: Manajemen kurikulum, manajemen sumber daya manusia, manajemen kesiswaan, manajemen keuangan, manajemen hubungan masyarakat, manajemen layanan khusus. Layanan-layanan tersebut harus di kelola secara baik dan benar sehingga dapat membantu memperlancar pencapaian tujuan pendidikan di sekolah. Pelayanan khusus atau pelayanan bantuan diselenggarakan di sekolah dengan maksud untuk memperlancar pelaksanaan pengajaran dalam rangka pencapaian tujuan pendidikan di sekolah. Berikut ini adalah jenis-jenis layanan khusus yang di sediakan sekolah: Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK), layanan Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS), layanan kafetaria sekolah, layanan asrama sekolah, layanan perpustakaan sekolah, layanan laboratorium sekolah.
