Abstract

This research is made to describe the learning methods that students with academic achievements usually do and the mostcommon learning style used by students with academic achievements have on fifth grade at SD Negeri 02 Bandar Sungai.The subjects of the research itself are student of first, second and third grade who have academic achievement. This researchis a qualitative research. The data collecting process is held through observations, interviews and documentations. Dataanalyst in this research is using Milles and Huberman data analysis technique, the process itself is done through cpllectig,reducing, displaying and taking conclusion. This research going through creadibility test, dependsbility, and confirmation togain data validation. The result of the research shows that students learning methods on fifth grade students of SD Negeri 02Bandar Sungai is the combination of vak learning methods. The tedency of student’s learning methods is various, the firstgrade students would prefer visual, second grade students prefer auditorial, and third grade students choose kinectical wayof learning. From data collecting exhibits, none of theree achievers students use one learning method in majority. Herewith,in this research the way of learning as may weel said as learning methods don’t affect student’s academic achievements.There are others indicators to it . That for instance, parent encouragement, teacher teaching methods, students learningenvironment, interes and genetic that runs in the family.

Abstract

This research method is a 4-D model that has stages which include: 1) defining, 2) design, 3) development and 4) dissemination. Respondents tested a limited instrument involving 21 fourth grade students in elementary school. The results of this study obtained an assessment from experts in the validation of linguistic intelligence instruments with an average of 3.5 with worthiness of 86.75 in the very feasible category. The next activity is the stage of developing instruments to assess linguistic intelligence and then a limited trial of 21 students with the results of linguistic intelligence obtained by students 1 (4.8%) female students who have very high linguistic intelligence, 7 (33.33%) students who linguistic intelligence with a high category, 11 (52.4%) students who have linguistic intelligence with a high enough category and 2 (9.5%) students who have linguistic intelligence with a low category. It can be concluded that the instrument for assessing linguistic intelligence in elementary school students can be used on a broad scale

Abstract

This study examined the connections between procedural and conceptual knowledge of addition and subtraction of fractions with the problem-posing skills of prospective primary teachers. The applied method was a correlational study with structural equation modeling-partial least square (SEM-PLS) analysis. The sample in this research was 101 third-year students from a primary teacher education study program of a public university in Riau, Indonesia. The results showed that prospective primary teachers have high procedural knowledge and problem-posing skills on addition and subtraction. However, they have poor performance on problems related to conceptual knowledge of addition and subtraction of fractions. Then, the results also revealed a significant connection between procedural and conceptual knowledge with problem-posing skills on addition and subtraction of fractions of prospective primary teachers. Improving prospective primary teachers’ procedural and conceptual knowledge could raise their problem-posing skills on adding and subtracting fractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan terhadap Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD)  dengan model STEM berbasis MIKiR untuk tema 2 “Selalu Berhemat Energi” pada kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dengan menggunakan model Plomp (2013). Tahapan pengembangan yang dilakukan dengan tiga fase:  Preliminary Research Phase, Prototyping Phase, dan Assessment Phase. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan angket. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif deskritif. LKPD yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga orang ahli yang terdiri dari ahli media dan ahli materi dan memperoleh persentase skor validasri rata-rata 93,52%. Sedangkan kepraktisan dilihat dari angket respon guru dengan persentase skor rata-rata sebesar 85,99%. Maka dapat disimpulkan LKPD STEM Berbasis MIKiR yang dikembangkan valid dan praktis dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. This study aims to Development the Student Worksheet with the STEM based on MIKiR for theme 2 “Always Save Energy” in grade 4 Elementary School using the Plomp model (2013). The development stage is carried out in three stages: Preliminary Research Stage, Prototyping Stage, and Assessment Phase. The research data were collected using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data processing in this study was carried out using quantitative decriptive and qualitative decriptive analysis. The worksheets that were developed are validated by three experts consisting of media experts and material experts , with an avarage skore percentage is 93,52%. Meanwhile, practicality can be seen from the questionnaire responses of teachers, with an avarage skore percentage is 85,99%. In conclusion, the Student worksheet STEM based on MIKiR developed is valid and practical and can be used in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to develop technology based numeric calender learning media on prime numbers in elementary as a support for proper learning. The feasibility of the media in terms of material and media aspects. Feasibility of the material consist of learning and content aspects. While the feasibility of the media includes aspects of display and programming. The method use in this research was 4D through 4 stapes of development; define, design, develop, and disseminate. The media was validated by material and media experts, and the subjects in this research were 9 fourth-graders of SDNelementary 11 Pekanbaru. The results of the content expert validation were 90% and the media expert valiadation was 72%. The results of students’ responses amounted to 87% for small group trials and 91% for large group trials. So that the technology-based numerical calender learning media on prime number material for elementary schools is feasible based on the experts’ judgment and students’ positive responses.

Abstract

Munculnya penyakit covid-19 di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia, corona virus merupakan penyakit yang menyerang saluran pernapasan pada manusia mulai dari flu yang biasa hingga pada penyakit yang cukup serius. Hal ini menyebabkan dampak yang begitu besar bagi berbagai bidang yang ada di Indonesia terutama dalam bidang pendidikan dan mengharuskan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, Walaupun mudah dalam proses pelaksanaan sistem kuliah daring ini, tetapi masih banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran didalam jaringan ini. Penelitian yang dipaparkan di artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja kesulitan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa PGSD selama melakukan proses pembelajaran dalam jaringan berlangsung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian yaitu mahasiswa angkatan 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa PGSD yaitu tidak menyukai pembelajaran dalam jaringan, bermain sosial media dan tidak memperhatikan dosen atau teman dalam menjelaskan materi yang diberikan, merasa bosan melaksanakan belajar dalam jaringan, tidak mampu memahami materi yang diberikan oleh dosen, peningkatan dalam hasil belajar meningkat tetapi tidak dengan pemahaman, dan kendala jaringan selama melakukan proses belajar dalam jaringan berlangsung.

Abstract

Artikel ini melaporkan sebuah penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi secara objektif serta mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan materi ajar geometri berbasis RME dengan siswa yang belajar dengan metode konvensional. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan jenis non equivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksankan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2021/2022 pada mata pelajaran matematika materi geometri. Subjek pada penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas 3 SD Madani Islamic School Riau yang terdiri dari kelas 3A sebagai kelas control dan 3C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dalam penelitian tersebut data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest) yang diberikan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 6 butir soal uraian. Data statistik yang diperoleh yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis yang diolah menggunakan program SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,029. Oleh karena itu, nilai signifikansinya sebanyak < 0,05. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan materi ajar geometri berbasis RME terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas 3 SD Madani Islamic School Riau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android di Sekolah Dasar untuk siswa kelas VI. Jenis penulisan yaitu Research and development (Pengembangan) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Media pembelajaran berbasis android  adalah berupa aplikasi yang dapat dibuka dan disimpan di smartphone dengan sistem operasi android.  Aplikasi android dapat dibuat dengan bantuan sofware, salah satunya yaitu menggunakan Smart App Creator. Hasil validasi dari validator memperoleh rata-rata skor 93,75% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian dari validator ahli materi memperoleh skor rata-rata 86,81% dengan kategori “Sangat Valid”. Penilaian produk penelitian pada uji coba terbatas yakni menggunakan praktikalitas guru dan siswa. Hasil perolehan rata-rata skor praktikalitas guru yaitu rata-rata skor 91,06% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Lalu hasil perolehan praktikalitas siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 87,09% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil penelitian yang dikembangkan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android materi sistem tata surya ini sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran diharapkan dapat di optimalkan dan di manfaatkan oleh guru saat proses belajar juga di implementasikan pada mata pelajaran lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences and increase in mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The research method used was an experiment with the research design of one group pretest-posttest. This research was conducted in class III of SD Negeri 144 Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on material money math subjects. The research subjects were class III students, amounting to 21 people. Data on mathematics learning outcomes were collected using a test technique in the form of a multiple-choice objective test. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there are differences and improvements in mathematics learning outcomes of Grade III students of Pekanbaru Pekanbaru Elementary School between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the PMRI approach. This is proven based on the results of the data analysis obtained in the study. This difference is based on the results of the t-test. Obtained t-count fulfills the criteria of t count> t table or 4.5881> 2.0423. with the average N Gain of 0.38 included in the medium category. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there are differences and improvements in student learning outcomes. Based on the evidence it can be concluded that implementing Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) has a positive influence on the results of mathematics learning for third-grade students of Pekanbaru Elementary School 144.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. It is a correlation research where population of all students of fifth grade at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru consisted of 109 students while the sampling method is cluster sampling. The instruments used are self confidence questionnaire and documentation of student mathematics learning outcomes that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used by the writer is product moment correlation test. The result shows that there is a significant relationship between self confidence and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru with a large relationship of 0.345 and it is categorized in low relationship category. This means that the increase in variable x will be followed by an increase in variable y. The coefficient of determination in this study is 0.119 which means that self-confidence contributes to student mathematics learning outcomes by 11.9% and the remaining 88.1% is caused by other factors such as teachers, infrastructure, intelligence and student motivation. The results of this study can provide information about one of the factors that affect student learning outcomes in mathematics so that the school, teachers and parents can determine effective steps to improve student mathematics learning outcomes.
