Abstract

This study aims to design a self-care module for handling dysmenorrhea based on the needs of female adolescents. The method used is a qualitative descriptive exploration with a research & development model. The results of the study indicate that female adolescents' understanding of dysmenorrhea can be seen from four themes, namely perceptions about the meaning of dysmenorrhea, perceptions about the causes of dysmenorrhea, perceptions about the impact of dysmenorrhea, and perceptions about handling dysmenorrhea. In conclusion, female adolescents need educational media to hold the dysmenorrhea they experience, so this study produces a product design in the form of a dysmenorrhea handling module for schools and female adolescents. Abstract

A phenomenon that often occurs in lower middle economic circles is early marriage. Early marriage can threaten the health and well-being of the couples involved. Not only does it affect health aspects, but it also impacts psychological, social and spiritual aspects. Mental instability in running a household can lead to divorce and domestic violence. This research aimed to explore which factors play a major role in early marriage, especially among adolescents. Using a systematic literature review with keyword “Teenagers AND early marriage AND Factor Influencing” which had a limit criteria of 2019-2024, using English and Indonesian Language, qualitative research design, and full txt. There were 2079 articles SAGE, Portal Garuda, Neliti, and Google Scholar databases and were re-screnned to obtain a total of 7 journals based on inclusion and exclusion criteria with PRISMA Flow 2020 guidelines.  Early marriage is caused by external and internal factors. External factors include socio-economic factors, cultural norms, low level of education, poor parenting while internal factors include love, the desire to be accepted in society life, and new opportunities in life.

Abstract

A complication of diabetes that has been going on for a long time and spreads to the bones is called Diabetic Foot Osteomyelitis (DFO). The condition Diabetic Foot Osteomyelitis is associated with advanced peripheral neuropathy accompanied by peripheral arterial disease and foot deformity. The most serious complication of Diabetic Foot Osteomyelitis is amputation of the wound area. The non-operative action that can be carried out is wound care using the Conservative Sharp Wound Debridement (CSWD) technique by removing necrotic tissue, both bone and soft tissue that is infected. The aim of the study was to analyze the results of modern wound care using the CSWD technique in Diabetic Foot Osteomyelitis. The research method uses interviews and observation. The sample used was 1 client Mr. T who experienced Diabetic Foot Osteomyelitis using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tools (BWAT) wound assessment instrument. The results of this research are that the use of CSWD in debridement is effective in helping the wound healing process, this is proven by a decrease in the BWAT score from 34 to 28.. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the CSWD technique is effective in reducing necrotic tissue and bone that has experienced infection so that it can help the wound healing process.

Abstract

Diabetic ulcers are one of the complications of diabetes mellitus. Diabetic ulcers can be aggravated by the presence of vascular disorders, such as arteries and veins because they will give a painful sensation to the ulcer area. Therefore, proper wound care is needed to minimize the effects of these vascular disorders, namely by reducing the compression of the wound dressing. This study aims to look at the development of diabetic ulcers accompanied by arterial and venous vascular disorders by providing decreased dressing compression during wound care. The research design used is a single case study on a patient with grade IV diabetic ulcer accompanied by arterial and venous vascular disorders. The intervention was to decrease dressing compression for 10 days of wound care.. From the wound care, improvement was obtained with reduced slough, the firm boundaries of the wound began to appear, the wound area was reduced from 10 x 7 cm to 9.3 x 7 cm. Decreasing dressing compression during wound care is considered a positive development for diabetic ulcers with arterial and venous compromise.

Abstract

Kejadian kanker serviks di Indonesia menempati posisi kedua jumlah kasus terbanyak pada tahun 2020 mencapai 36.633 kasus (9,2%) dari total kasus kanker. Tingginya kasus kanker serviks dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya angka skrining yang dilakukan perempuan. Dalam meningkatkan skrining kanker serviks diperlukan informasi yang memadai, salah satunya dapat diberikan edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media audio-visual. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menelaah kembali penggunaan media audio-visual sebagai media edukasi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) terkait skrining kanker serviks yang dibuktikan dalam berbagai penelitian. Metode penelitian  ini adalah literature review dengan pencarian artikel melalui database EBSCO, Scopus, Oxford, dan Google Scholar. Artikel ditelaah menggunakan PRISMA Flow 2020 dan metode PICO untuk menentukan kata kunci. Kriteria artikel yaitu publikasi artikel dalam rentang tahun 2019-2024, berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia, desain penelitian eksperimen, serta full text. Pada pencarian awal ditemukan 2.675 artikel, kemudian artikel diseleksi sehingga didapatkan 8 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa media audiovisual dinilai lebih menarik dan mudah diterima oleh partisipan sehingga berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan wanita usia subur terkait deteksi dini kanker serviks, dibuktikan dengan terjadinya kenaikan nilai pengetahuan sesudah pemberian intervensi. Didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa media audiovisual berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan wanita usia subur terkait deteksi dini kanker serviks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pembelajaran yang masih cenderung menggunakan metode menjelaskan dan kurangnya ketersedian media disekolah. Tujuan 1) mengembangkan media Pop-Up Book pada materi pembelajaran tematik Tema 8 Sub Tema 1 Pembelajaran 1 s.d 6 kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau research and Development (RD). Model pengembangan digunakan oleh peneliti adalah model Brog and Gall. Sampel yang diambil yaitu 17 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 2 Penawangan. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui studi dokumen, wawancara, angket validasi, materi, dan media serta angket respon guru dan siswa kelas V. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli media mendapatkan 86% dengan kategori sangat baik dan hasil validasi ahli materi ada dua tahap yaitu tahap pertama mendapatkan 81% sedangkan tahap  kedua mendapatkan 85% dengan kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan  pada hasil uji coba lapangan, hasil respon guru ada dua tahap yaitu tahap pertama dan tahap kedua meperoleh 82% dengan kategori sangat baik dan hasil respon peserta didik mendapatkan  skor presentase 90%  dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book pada materi pembelajaran tematik ini terbukti valid dan dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kelas V SD.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Rawat gabung sudah digunakan oleh beberapa rumah sakit di Indonesia sebagai upaya mendukung ibu postpartum untuk merawat bayinya sedini mungkin. Adanya perilaku ibu (pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan) yang belum baik saat pelaksanaan rawat gabung di ruang perawatan RSB Muhammadiyah Cirebon menjadi fenomena dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perilaku ibu postpartum saat pelaksanaan rawat gabung di ruang perawatan. Metode: Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 39 ibu postpartum dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil :Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku ibu postpartum rendah dalam pengetahuan, tidak mendukung dalam sikap, dan kurang dalam tindakan saat pelaksanaan rawat gabung di ruang perawatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, peneliti menyarankan perlu adanya kerja sama antara perawat dan rumah sakit untuk memperkenalkan sejak dini tentang pelaksanaan rawat gabung pada ibu postpartum. Abstract

This study aims to see how the effect of complementary therapy on the quality of life of survivors of advanced breast cancer. The research method used is a scoping review where the author uses four databases, namely Google Scholar, Pubmed, Proquest, and Science direct, from 2013 to 2021. The type of research sought uses cross-sectional and retrospective observational. The results showed that alternative, complementary therapies often used by breast cancer survivors were herbs, spiritual therapy, vitamin and mineral supplements, mind-body manipulative practices, and exercise. However, five articles state that there is no association between the use of CAM on the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. However, seven other articles said that there was a positive effect of CAM on the quality of life of breast cancer survivors. In conclusion, the coordination of alternative, complementary medicine with conventional cancer treatment and standard procedures will ensure that patient care can be provided with maximum quality standards, the highest information standards, and maximum treatment safety. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of health coaching on the behavior and self-efficacy of mothers in preventing stunting: the research method, Quasi-Experimental with pre-test and post-test with a control group design. The statistical results obtained differences in behavior and efficacy before and after treatment in the two groups with p-value <0.05. The difference in the mean post-test behavior with health coaching is 85.55 and with the module 76.88. The mean difference in post-test self-efficacy with health coaching is 41.13 and module 23.88. Abstract

This study aims to obtain information related to the experiences of breast cancer patients using complementary therapies at Adventist Hospital in Bandung City. This research method is qualitative research with a descriptive explorative research type. The results of this study provide an overview of breast cancer patients' experiences using complementary therapies. This experience is described in six themes, namely: (1) herbal is the leading choice of complementary therapy; (2) friends are a source of information in determining the type of complementary therapy; (3) complementary therapy requires a lengthy healing time; (4) fear of surgery is the main reason for choosing complementary therapy; (5) expensive cost is an obstacle that is often encountered in using complementary therapy; (6) the use of CAM as an effort to improve the welfare of breast cancer patients. In conclusion, complementary therapies such as good herbal medicine, juice therapy, electro-capacitive cancer therapy (ECCT), gamat jelly, and Papuan ant nest teas have varying prices. When used for a long time, the accumulated costs incurred are more expensive than operating costs. . Keywords: Breast Cancer, Experience, Complementary Therapy
