Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive harmonic picture of Photovoltaic operations integrated with the Electric Power System (Photovoltaic on-grid). Harmonics in Photovoltaic on-grid are generated from the inverter. One way to reduce harmonics is by installing a filter. Apart from reducing harmonics, filters can improve the system power factor value. This research examines the effect of variations in Photovoltaic on-grid filter parameters on inverter power capacity using Simulink/Matlab simulation. The FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) method is used to determine the harmonic order and THD of the current and voltage of the system on the side before and after the filter. The simulation results show changes in filter parameter variations for Qc (Var) values ​​giving THDi and THDv values ​​before and after filter installation using the FFT approach.

Abstract

Global warming and the environmental impacts of fossil fuels are very important to understand, especially for the younger generation, including students. Geographically, MTs Negeri 1 Mataram is located in the Mataram city area with a distance of approximately 1 kilometer from the Mataram University campus, which is the place of duty for the team carrying out this service. The method for implementing this service is through socialization and education about the basic concepts of solar power plants, how they work, and their environmental and social benefits through various stages including presentations, discussions, practical demonstrations of PLTS modules, and assessing student understanding through post-tests. and pre-test. Practice demonstration of PLTS modules. Evaluation of the 20 students who took part in this activity showed an increase in their awareness regarding the importance of PLTS in sustainable energy and environmental conservation, because the average post-test and pre-test score was above 83. This is expected to encourage active participation of students in supporting renewable energy in the future

Abstract

The allocation of LPG gas subsidies has increased, putting a burden on state finances, while surplus electricity production is not being utilized optimally. Electrical energy can replace LPG gas by replacing the gas stove with an electric stove. This conversion requires adequate installation to ensure the safe and secure operation of the electric stove. The implementation of the conversion program must be supported by community readiness regarding standard electrical installations for electric stoves in the form of training. Training activities were carried out in Nyurlembang Village, Narmada, West Lombok, as a community service activity. This activity aims to educate and train the public about repairing and redesigning electrical installations for electric stoves. Training methods include lecture, discussion and practice methods. Before and after the activity, participants are given a written test to determine the success of the training activity. The test results show an average score before and after training of 38.33 and 66.00 for the range 0-100. These results show that the training was quite effective with an increase in participants' theoretical and practical knowledge of 27.67.

Abstract

One of the renewable energy power plants whose construction is very massive is the solar power plant (PLTS) because it can be built anywhere in Indonesia. The type of PLTS with cheap investment is the on-grid system. This study aims to analyze the performance of the 600 Wp on-grid PLTS based on data loggers. Data logger is a data recording system designed using an Arduino Nano microcontroller equipped with sensors such as a solar radiation sensor (PYR20), temperature and humidity sensor (DHT22), PV module temperature sensor (DS18B20), DC voltage sensor, DC current sensor (ACS712), real time clock (DS3231), AC digital wattmeter module (PZEM-004T 10 A) and Micro SD Card Mini to store measurement data. The data logger is set to store measurement data every 5 minutes. The results of sensor measurements after calibration have an average measurement error of 5.20%, 0.56%, and 0.68% for the PYR20 irradiance sensor, 50 V range DC voltage sensor, and DC current sensor (ACS712). Based on the results of data logger recording, the 600 Wp on-grid PLTS system has a PV module efficiency in the range of 2.45 - 19.2% with an average of 8.60%, and the inverter (smart microgrid inverter) has an average efficiency of 89.40%.

Abstract

Technological advances in the energy sector, especially electricity, are needed to utilize clean and renewable energy sources towards net zero emissions. This condition supports the use of new, renewable energy (EBT) by the government and society. Together with Mitra (head of Sandik village), the Mataram University Lecturer Community Service Program team will carry out community empowerment in the field of EBT by socializing Presidential Decree No. 5 of 2006 concerning KEN and PP no. 112 of 2022 concerning Accelerating the Development of EBT to supply electrical energy providers as well as introducing solar module installations as a source of electrical energy to support the energy diversification program. The methods used are presentation, discussion, pre-test, post-test, practice, use of solar energy measuring instruments and presentation on installing solar modules as an electricity source. The implementation of this PkM activity was assisted by students majoring in electrical engineering, electrical systems and equipment from Sandik Village. There were 21 men and 9 women taking part in the PkM. The results of the achievement evaluation mean pre-test score to post-test score increased from 49.725 to 72.0375, an average increase of 44.87%. The community's interest in using PLTS as a source of electricity shows the enthusiastic participation of the Sandik village community.

Abstract

The importance of renewable energy use is increasing to support energy sustainability around the world and reduce the use of fossil resources that are increasingly limited. To achieve national energy security, it is necessary to regulate the development of renewable energy to all groups including students, must work together to encourage energy conservation and diversification programs. Based on this, training on the planning of new and renewable energy potential measurement methods was conducted to improve student skills in theory and implementation in the field of new and renewable energy. The methodology in this activity will involve a structured series of steps to measure renewable energy potential while improving students' practical skills and interpersonal skills. The evaluation of the training results in an increase in students' knowledge in applying their analytical skills to interpret the measurement results and calculate the potential energy that can be generated from the measured sources.

Abstract

Dengan tingginya permintaan bahan bakar fosil seperti minyak bumi dan batu bara, Indonesia saat ini menghadapi energi yang kompleks. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi ketahanan energi, kesehatan masyarakat dan keberlanjutan lingkungan. Kabupaten Lombok Barat memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk mengembangkan energi terbarukan, khususnya energi surya, mikrohidro dan angin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana radiasi matahari, debit air dan kecepatan angin dapat mempengaruhi produksi listrik pada PLTMH, PLTB dan PLTS di Desa Sesela. Penelitian ini juga akan merancang sistem pembangkit listrik on-grid yang optimal menggunakan perangkat lunak yaitu HOMER. Diharapkan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan yang dirancang dapat digunakan sebagai penyediaan energi untuk event-event besar berskala internasional yang diselenggarakan di Pulau Lombok seperti event MXGP yang sudah mulai rutin diselenggarakan di Pulau Lombok tepatnya di Desa Sesela, Hasil simulasi ini menjelaskan bahwa perencanaan pengembangan sistem yang tepat dengan total beban tahunan sebesar 11,26 kWh/tahun yaitu dengan nilai NPC diperoleh biaya sistem sebesar Rp81.180.600,00 mampu menghasilkan energi listrik yang dapat dijual dengan harga Rp768,64/kWh dengan biaya operasional sebesar Rp2.959.201,00. Energi yang dihasilkan oleh Panel PV sebesar 2.426 kWh/tahun, mikro hidro sebesar 1.788 kWh/tahun dan Turbin Angin sebesar 2.069 kWh/tahun serta excess energy yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan tersier dan event sebesar 1.260 kWh/tahun.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang semakin maju, pentingnya interaksi antar penggemar semakin meningkat untuk membangun komunitas yang solid dalam mendukung idola mereka. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkanlah sistem web interaktif untuk fanbase JKT48 Lombok di LearningX. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan penggemar melalui media interaktif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pengembangan aplikasi berbasis Flask sebagai backend dan MongoDB untuk manajemen basis data, serta penggunaan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript untuk tampilan antarmuka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterlibatan penggemar dan peningkatan kualitas interaksi melalui berbagai fitur, seperti forum diskusi dan galeri. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan sistem ini berhasil mencapai tujuan meningkatkan interaksi dan loyalitas fanbase.

Abstract

Program sosialisasi peduli bahaya listrik yang dilaksanakan oleh PLN UP3 Pontianak bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya keselamatan dalam penggunaan listrik sebagai salah satu kegiatan KKN MBKM MSIB Batch-6. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan melalui berbagai metode, salah satunya termasuk penyebaran brosur. Hasilnya, masyarakat menjadi lebih sadar akan risiko listrik, seperti kebakaran akibat korsleting dan potensi kecelakaan dari instalasi listrik yang buruk. Dengan edukasi yang diberikan, tercatat peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam melaporkan bahaya listrik dan permintaan untuk memperbaiki instalasi rumah tangga yang tidak sesuai standar. Selain itu, insiden yang melibatkan listrik juga menurun secara signifikan. Meski begitu, beberapa tantangan masih dihadapi, terutama dalam menjangkau masyarakat di daerah terpencil. Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi ini berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan ketenagalistrikan di Wilayah Pontianak. Untuk ke depannya, program ini perlu dilakukan secara lebih intensif dan berkala untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Fire is one of the significant disasters, causing great losses to the environment and humans. Based on BNPB data, in 2019 there were 757 cases of fire in Indonesia, with electrical short circuits as the main cause. Fire prevention education is important, especially for young children. There are many ways to provide education to children, one of which is games. Android-based educational games can increase children's awareness of the dangers of fire and fire mitigation through a fun and interactive approach. The main objective of this socialization is to provide education to children regarding fires to increase awareness of young children about the risks and dangers of fire through an interesting and interactive game-based approach. The results of the implementation of this socialization are that it can help children understand the risks of fire and encourage safer behavior in the future.
