Abstract

Daerah Irigasi Kelarik terletak di Kelarik, Kecamatan Bunguran Utara, Kabupaten Natuna, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau yang menunjang dan mendukung usaha pertanian lokal dengan luas layanan sebesar 677 Ha. Untuk mempertahankan sarana dan prasarana agar tetap berfungsi atau mempunyai umur layanan yang sesuai dengan rencana awal pembangunan dilakukan penilaian kinerja sistem irigasi. Penilaian kinerja sistem irigasi dilakukan berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat No. 12/PRT/M/2015 yang kemudian dinyatakan dalam nilai indeks kinerja, dengan adanya penilaian kinerja sistem irigasi ini kemudian akan didapatkan klasifikasi tindakan operasional dan pemeliharaan yang sesuai. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perhitungan Angka Kebutuhan Nyata Operasi dan Pemeliharaan (AKNOP) yang berfungsi untuk perencanaan penyediaan/kebutuhan anggaran operasi dan pemeliharaan berdasarkan klasifikasi tindakan operasional dan pemeliharaan yang sudah didapatkan sebelumnya. Anggaran operasi dan pemeliharaan yang dihitung meliputi: biaya operasi, biaya pemeliharaan rutin dan biaya pemeliharaan berkala. Nilai kondisi prasarana fisik secara keseluruhan adalah 62,72% termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan tingkat kerusakan 21-40% dan perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Biaya yang diperlukan untuk kegiatan operasi Daerah Irigasi Kelarik adalah senilai Rp72.992.332, dan biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pemeliharaan berkala adalah Rp258.719.099 sedangkan biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pemeliharaan rutin adalah Rp252.347.766.

Abstract

Daerah Irigasi (DI) Seberang Gunung melayani areal seluas 581 Ha. Jaringan irigasi yang mengalami kerusakan fisik dan penurunan fungsi akan mengakibatkan penurunan nilai efesiensi , maka dari itu diperlukan kegiatan pemeliharaan untuk mengembalikan fungsi jaringan irigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemeliharaan yang optimal dengan memaksimalkan keterbatasan biaya yang tersedia. Tahap untuk mendapatkan pemeliharaan yang optimal dengan keterbatasan biaya tersebut yaitu, (1) Melakukan identifikasi terhadap kondisi fisik dan fungsi jaringan irigasi DI Seberang Gunung yang berpedoman pada Permen PUPR Nomor 12/PRT/M/2015. (2) Menentukan urutan prioritas kegiatan pemeliharaan, penetapan nilai prioritas ini berdasarkan rumus yang tercantum didalam Permen PU Nomor 13/PRT/M/2012. (3) Menentukan biaya pemeliharaan untuk setiap bangunan irigasi. (4) Optimasi menggunakan metode linier programming yang terdiri dari fungsi tujuan dan fungsi kendala, fungsi tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai prioritas sedangkan fungsi kendala pada penelitian ini adalah keterbatasan biaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan anggaran yang terbatas yaitu sebesar Rp.119.057.337-, maka dapat dilakukan 11 kegiatan pemeliharaan yang bersifat perawatan pada DI Seberang Gunung, tetapi pada saluran primer biaya pemeliharaan hanya dapat terpenuhi sebesar 59,06%.

Abstract

Fenomena umum pengambilan keputusan bidang Pengembangan Sumberdaya Air adalah bersifat kompleks, multi sektor dan multi aktor, memerlukan keterpaduan antara aspek teknik dan non-teknik, diperlukan prosedur analisis secara sistematis yang mampu memadukan berbagai maksud yang saling kompetitif dan Decision Support System (DSS). Hal ini merupakan bagian penting sebagai alat analisis untuk pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menyusun strategi pengelolaan pencemaran Sungai Siak dengan menitik beratkan peran faktor dan aktor pendukung agar tetap berkelanjutan. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model AHP sebagai salah satu cabang Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) yang memiliki keunggulan sebagai program bantu (tool) untuk pengambilan keputusan pada bidang Sumber Daya Air yang diterapkan pada berbagai kasus dan terbukti sukses memecahkan berbagai problem pengambilan keputusan. Hasil utama penelitian membuktikan bahwa strategi pengendalian pencemaran air Sungai Siak menggunakan AHP dengan menetapkan urutan prioritas faktor adalah dukungan kebijakan, anggaran, SDM dan sarana prasarana yang didukung menggunakan aktor prioritas secara berurutan adalah Pemerintah, Masyarakat/ Organisasi masyarakat/ Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat/ Tokoh Masyarakat, Industri dan Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

Pandemi akibat penyebaran virus corona melanda Indonesia dalam rentang tahun 2020-2021. Ribuan korban terkonfirmasi covid berjatuhan. Pemerintah sudah melakukan program Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM), pemberlakuan 3M (menjaga jarak, memakai masker, mencuci tangan), 5M (menjaga jarak, memakai masker, mencuci tangan, menjauhi kerumunan, mengurangi mobilitas) serta pemberian vaksin untuk meningkatkan antibodi tubuh dalam melawan virus. Faktor penting lain yang diperlukan untuk melawan infeksi virus adalah imunitas tubuh. Imunitas tinggi, infeksi virus corona bisa dikalahkan. Asupan supplemen yang mengandung vitamin C, D, E dan zink, bisa menambah daya imun tubuh. Kekayaan pangan di Indonesia berupa rempah-rempah dan bahan pangan (bahan herbal) dapat dijadikan suplemen tradisional. Khasiat bahan herbal ini dirasakan sejak dahulu. Khasiatnya sudah diteliti dan ahli kesehatan/gizi juga merekomendasikannya. Tujuan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini adalah menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang khasiat bahan herbal untuk menambah imunitas tubuh dalam mencegah infeksi covid. Sosialisasi dilakukan pada Ibu-ibu Majelis Taklim Masjid Al-Manar Kelurahan Tangkerang Barat, Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai, Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini berupa penyuluhan tentang jenis tanaman herbal yang bisa digunakan sebagai obat herbal dan cara pembuatannya.Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan ibu- ibu MajelisTaklim Masjid Al-Manar tentang beberapa jenis bahan herbal yang bisa meningkatkan imunitas tubuh.

Abstract

Sedimentation is one of the problems that often occurs in rivers. Sedimentation that occurs continuously will cause siltation of the riverbed so that it can cause flooding due to reduced cross-sectional capacity of the river. Understanding these conditions, this study was conducted to examine the distribution of sediment transport that occurs in rivers. The river that is the location of the study is Batang Kuranji River which is located in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. HEC-RAS version 6.1 was used to model and simulate the sediment transport process. Simulations were carried out with a duration of 100 days and three flow conditions, flood discharge at return times of 2, 5 and 10 years. The sediment transport function used is the Meyer Peter-Muller equation. The results indicate the occurrence of sedimentary material deposits scattered throughout the study location. The total volume of sediment deposit in flood discharge conditions for 2, 5 and 10 years, respectively, is 6,978 m3; 2,989 m3 and 132 m3. The highest sediment deposit occurred in the simulation with a 10-year return period discharge at RS 14 (STA 1+350) which was 5,141,533 m3. After analysis, the high sediment deposition in the Batang Kuranji river section is caused by a decrease in flow velocity due to the influence of tides at the river estuary.

Abstract

The availability of long-term river discharge data covering at least 30 years is needed for proper hydrological studies, so the ability to predict river discharge is a matter of concern in the field of civil engineering. The Siak River in Pekanbaru City experiences overflowing water during the rainy season. One of the steps to prevent flooding on the Siak River is to utilize river discharge information, data-driven models utilize historical data to train or derive useful insights for predicting outputs, some data-driven models that are suitable for generating monthly historical data into new data include the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) method and the Thomas-Fiering method. The research begins by conducting the Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums (RAPS) test to test the homogeneity of the data, then the prediction of discharge data with several schemes using the ARIMA and Thomas-Fiering methods, then the performance comparison between the two models is carried out using MAPE, RMSE, Nash-Sutcliffe, and correlation coefficient r. From the research results, it was found that the Thomas-Fiering method tends to be more accurate for predicting 1-year monthly discharge as well as long-term discharge, namely periods of 3, 5, and 7 years, with the best prediction being 1-year discharge prediction using 5 years of observed discharge with MAPE, RMSE, Nash-Sutcliffe, and correlation coefficient r values of 7.42%, 26.76 m3s-1, 0.92, and 0.96, respectively. This study could be a valuable reference for future studies in selection and further modification of data driven discharge simulation models.

Abstract

The potential of local wood and the large amount of wood waste from the wood processing industry and window and frame businesses in Aur Sati Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, need to be utilized by the community so that training is needed to utilize local wood potential to support the tourism sector for youth groups and PKK mothers in the village. The purpose of this activity is to assist in optimizing processed wood waste to add economic value, and it is hoped that the results of this activity can provide knowledge and technology for utilizing local wood resources so that in the future it will be able to increase community income to support the tourism sector. The activity results have been applied as decorative table products from Durian tree trunks that are no longer productive and processed wood waste from the community. The products produced in terms of visual appearance have distinctive characteristics and look classic, so they will have a fairly high selling price. The results of this community service activity are in the form of assistance to the target audience in the form of training/counseling on making decorative tables from pieces of Durian tree trunks that are no longer productive and processed waste from the community.

Abstract

Drought disaster is caused by the decreasing of rainfall from normal condition and the duration of dry season. And the effect is show the reducing of water availability. Based on the drought disaster risk index map by National Disaster Management Agency, can be seen that 40-60 % Riau Province got drought. Therefore, it is necessary to anticipate to reduce the impact of drought by calculate the drought index using Run Theory. Drought index can be used to indicate the longest and the greatest number of drought. The rain data who used for the calculation of the drought index is satellite rainfall data in the last 8 years from 2009 to 2016 for every district in Riau Province. The rainfall data is divided into 2 groups, 15 days for daily rainfall data and 30 days for monthly rainfall data. For 15 daily rainfall data, the longest drought duration is 7.5 months and the greatest number of drought is 494.943 mm. While for monthly rainfall data, the longest drought duration is 12 months and the greatest number of drought is 508.6 mm. based on calculation classification level of drought for dryness criteria 15 daily rainfall data from Indragiri Hilir as many as 5 times incident. For monthly rainfall data is Rokan Hilir, Pelalawan, and Kuantan Singingi as many as 3 times incident. Abstract

There are several problems related to water resources such as floods and drought. One of the critical issue is drought. Drought is a nature phenomenon which is considered as common dangers which occurs in accordance of climate cycle related to hydrological cycle that affected by rainfall. Drought that affected only by rainfall is meteorological drought which is an early indication of drought. Based on the large impact, it is necessary to analyze index of dryness to find out the level of dryness as the early warning of further droughts. The location of the research was the Batang Anai watersheds which is one of water source of agricultural sector in Sumatera Barat Province. Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) was one of the methods to analyze drought index in an area. The calculation was done based on rainfall data of half monthly period and monthly period from 1997 to 2016 on every rain station in DAS Batang Anai. The result of SPI drought index was correlated with Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) phenomenon and then was mapped using ARC GIS software with tools Polygoon Thiessen. The final result of this research showed that in half period the highest value of drought index was -2,3811 (January, 1st periode, 2013) with extreme drought classification. While in monthly period, the value of drought index was -1,9183 (January, 2012) with very dry classification. This research also showed the suitability of SPI drought index with IOD drought phenomenon which has suitable average 70,14%.Keywords : Drought index, Standardized Precipitation Index, GIS, Indian Ocean Dipole

Abstract

Rainfall distribution is one of the parameters required for calculations of the design flood. The pattern of rainfall distribution is the mean of rainfall expressed in a graph that describe time function to variation in depth of rainfall. The pattern of rainfall distribution is obtained in two method, empirical method and averaging hourly rainfall data. The rainfall data used is obtained from TRMM JAXA in eight years (2009-2016) for Kampar Regency. In this research, the approach of distribution form between empirical methods with the hourly rainfall data average of TRMM to simplify the acquisition pattern of rainfall distribution. The empirical method used is Alternating Block Method (ABM), Modified Mononobe, and Tadashi Tanimoto. Based on TRMM rainfall data, that rainfall duration was dominated by one hours rainfall events. The analysis results for pattern of rainfall distribution approach of TRMM JAXA with empirical method shows that designed rainfall duration (3 to 8 hours) tends to approach Alternating Block Method (ABM) pattern.Keywords: Rainfall distribution, satellite rainfall data, Alternating Block Method, Modified Mononobe, Tadashi Tanimoto
