Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi di era digital saat ini menjadi aspek penting dalam menunjang efektivitas operasional, termasuk dalam lingkup organisasi kemahasiswaan. Unit Keagamaan Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa Kristen Politeknik Negeri Samarinda menghadapi permasalahan dalam pengelolaan data anggota, kegiatan keagamaan, dan komunikasi internal yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga kurang efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah waterfall, karena model ini memiliki tahapan yang terstruktur dan mudah diterapkan. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter untuk sisi backend dan Bootstrap untuk tampilan antarmuka. Hasil sementara menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memfasilitasi pencatatan data anggota, pengelolaan jadwal kegiatan keagamaan, serta komunikasi antar pengurus dan anggota secara lebih terorganisir. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi efektif dalam mendukung aktivitas keorganisasian berbasis teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Rancang bangun sistem informasi pemesanan dan penjualan berbasis web merupakan proses sistematis dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak. Tujuan penelititan ini guna merencanakan dan membuat aplikasi berbasis web khusus untuk pemesanan pada Kedai Hitam Putih. Kendala yang terjadi dimana pemesanan masih dilakukan secara manual dan sistem ini dirancang untuk mengembangkan media informasi. Pendekatan metode yang diterapkan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini adalah Waterfall, yang memberikan kerangka terstruktur untuk setiap tahap pengembangannya. Pengembangan dilakukan secara terurut dan sistematis. Dengan demikian, Aplikasi berbasis website ini diharap dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan penjualan secara keseluruhan pada Kedai Hitam Putih.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan website E-Commerce pada Toko Shafirda guna meningkatkan efisiensi proses penjualan dan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Melalui website ini Toko Shafirda dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses penjualan dengan menyediakan layanan online yang memungkinkan pelanggan melihat katalog produk, melakukan pemesanan, serta menyelesaikan pembayaran secara online. Metodologi pengembangan menggunakan model Agile yang melibatkan tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian pada sistem untuk Toko Shafirda. Dengan demikian, pembuatan website ini diharapkan dapat membuat, pelanggan dapat berbelanja dengan lebih praktis, sementara pemilik toko dapat mengelola transaksi secara lebih efisien.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Wilayah Samarinda, Khususnya di Kelurahan Sungai Kapih saat ini sedang berkembang pesat. Dengan di bangunnya Jembatan Mahkota II dan Jalan Tol Samarinda-Balikpapan membuat Wilayah kelurahan Sungai Kapih ini juga ikut terkena dampak positif, Salah satu dampak positif tersebut adalah di bidang UMKM. Yang membantu mengangkat perekonomian dari warga sekitar, Tetapi masih banyak orang yang tidak mengetahui UMKM apa saja yang ada di wilayah tersebut dikarenakan kurang nya Media Informasi untuk mempromosikan usaha UMKM tersebut. Oleh karena itu dengan di bangunnya media promosi UMKM berbasis Web, Bertujuan agar UMKM tersebut memiliki wadah informasi untuk mempermudah warga sekitar.Metode yang digunakan adalah media informasi, sedangkan objek penelitiannya UMKM yang masih aktif menjalankan usahanya di Wilayah Kelurahan Sungai Kapih. Web yang di hasilkan hanyalah informasi mengenai UMKM, Hal ini memudahkan pelanggan untuk melihat produk UMKM dan Alamat yang diinginkan pelanggan dan menimbulkan niat pelanggan untuk membeli dan mengetahui Lokasi UMKM yang di promosikan melalui Website.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan enkapsulasi hiptolida dengan penyalut kitosan, pektin, dan tripolifosfat (TPP) menggunakan metode koaservasi kompleks. Proses enkapsulasi dibuat dalam bentuk empat formula: formula 1 kitosan (BM = 500 KDa) 1% dan pektin 0,05%; formula 2 kitosan (BM = 168 KDa) 1% dan pektin 0,05%; formula 3 kitosan (BM = 168 KDa) 1% dan pektin 0,05% yang disertai perlakuan sonikasi; formula 4 kitosan 0,04%, pektin 0,08%, dan TPP 0,01%. Karakterisasi ukuran partikel formula enkapsulasi menggunakan particle size analyzer (PSA), efisiensi enkapsulasi (EE) menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis, dan interaksi gugus fungsi hiptolida dalam masing-masing formula menggunakan spektrometer Raman. Hasil karakterisasi ukuran partikel formula 1 diperoleh 111,885 µm, formula 2 sebesar 118,389 µm, formula 3 sebesar 118,388 µm, dan formula 4 yaitu 20,578 nm, dengan efisiensi enkapsulasi 97,801%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa formula 4 dengan komposisi kitosan 0,04%, pektin 0,08%, dan TPP 0,01% merupakan formula optimum enkapsulasi hiptolida yang mampu membentuk nanopartikel berukuran 20,578 nm.

Abstract

Hyptis pectinata (L.) poit, popularly known in the world as “comb bushmint” is a medicinal plant commonly used for the treatment of throat and skin inflammations, bacterial infection, pain and cancer. The objective of this research is to determine the cytotoxic and antiproliferative effect under Hyptis pectinata ethanolic extract (HPE) treatment on breast cancer cells. The effect HPE of on cytotoxicity was examined by MTT assay on MCF-7 breast cancer cells. This assay also used to determine cell proliferation over 3 days of treatment with 1.5 – 100 µg/mL HPE. HPE showed that exhibited cytotoxic effects with IC50 value of 30 µg/mL for 24 hours and changes the physiological morphology on MCF-7 cells. Interestingly, the treatment of HPE for 48 and 72 hours highly decreases cell viability on MCF-7 with dose and time-dependent manner compared to untreated cells. These results indicate that HPE has antiproliferative activities and maybe the potential to be developed as a natural chemotherapeutic agent.Keywords: Hyptis pectinata (L.) poit extract, cytotoxicity, antiproliferative, MCF-7 cells

Abstract

Many studies of perineal wounds use the redness, edema, ecchymosis, discharge, and approximation (REEDA) scale as a healing assessment tool. Still, this tool has not become part of the standard of care in postpartum women with perineal lacerations due to the lack of evidence of its validity. This study aimed to analyze the consistency of the REEDA scale in healing perineal wounds of postpartum women. The method uses an observational study using the interrater reliability test for the REEDA tool on perineal wound healing in postpartum women with second-degree perineal lacerations, 11 women were recruited using consecutive sampling. Lacerations were observed by researchers, and midwives were trained on days 1, 3, and 7 postpartum. Cohen's kappa coefficient test was used to test the consistency of the REEDA scale. The results shows that the fair and excellent agreement on the redness item with kappa (0.57-1.00), agreement on the edema item showed good and excellent results (0.61-0.84), fair and good agreement on the ecchymosis item (0.51- 0.73), good and excellent agreement on discharge items (0.79 -1.00). On the approximation item (0.62–1.00), agreement improved to excellent at the final assessment. In the third evaluation, the scoring of all items showed good or excellent agreement between the raters.  The conclusion is  the overall assessment shows that the application of the REEDA scale is reliable because it shows consistency; namely, there are no more values with low agreement on the seventh day of the postpartum period.

Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of various ethanol concentrations (50%, 70%, and 96%) in extracting bioactive compounds from cashew leaves (Anacardium occidentale). Parameters analyzed included total phenolics, total flavonoids, and antioxidant activity using the DPPH and H2O2 methods. The results showed that the 70% ethanol extract produced the highest total phenolic and flavonoid content as well as significant antioxidant activity compared to other ethanol concentrations. This study offers practical insights for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and nutraceutical industries in selecting the optimal solvents for cashew leaf extraction. Additionally, the analysis showed that the 70% ethanol extract offered an optimal balance between extraction efficiency and antioxidant activity, making it the most efficient solvent for commercial use.

Abstract

The effects of temperature and heating time on the degradation and antioxidant activity of anthocyanin compounds from roselle petals (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) have been evaluated from this research. The purpose of this study is to determine, the degradation and antioxidant activity of anthocyanin compounds on variations of temperature and heating time. In this study anthocyanin was extracted from roselle petals using ethanol solvent at 25oC. Then the anthocyanin extract obtained was dissolved into aqueous solution. The solution was then heated at 40oC, 60oC and 80oC for 60 minutes. The degradation of anthocyanin compounds was analyzed by calculating the total of anthocyanin contents, while the antioxidant activity was evaluated using the DPPH method. The results showed that Total Anthocyanin Content (TAC) from the extract solution before heating was 144.28 mg/L. Meanwhile the total value of anthocyanin in the 60 minutes after heating at 400C, 600C and 800C are 108.88 mg/L, 88.84 mg/L and 63.78 mg/L respectively. Heating at 80oC decreases antioxidant activity by increasing the IC50 value to 86.8 ppm higher than the conditions before heating. The increase of temperature and length of the heating process made the anthocyanin structure degraded. Degradation was indicated by the reduction of total anthocyanin content and the decrease of antioxidant activity.

Abstract

Biosurfactants are surface-active compounds synthesized by microorganisms. These compounds offer several advantages, including low toxicity, high compatibility, and biodegradability. Biosurfactants can be isolated relatively quickly, a property that renders them potentially applicable in industrial settings. One type of microorganism that produces biosurfactants is endophytic bacteria, which live within plant tissues. The present study focuses on the characterization of biosurfactants produced by endophytic bacteria isolated from geothermal ferns in the area around the Gedong Songo hot spring in Semarang Regency. Isolate 9 (D9) demonstrated the optimal oil-spreading capability and was consequently selected for further production and characterization. The optimal growth curve for biosurfactant production by isolate D9 (BS-D9) occurred in the early stationary phase, approximately 132 hours post-inoculation, with an oil-spreading diameter of 5.1 centimeters. The emulsification index (E24) of BS-D9 reached 95%, which is nearly equivalent to SDS at 1000 ppm, suggesting a high emulsification capacity. The methylene blue test indicated that BS-D9 is an anionic biosurfactant, whereas the negative Biuret test result indicated that it does not belong to the lipopeptide group. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy indicates that BS-D9 falls within the glycolipid category. This classification is supported by a distinctive absorption peak corresponding to glycosidic bonds, potentially of the rhamnolipid type. Rhamnolipids are widely recognized for their high emulsification efficiency, stability, and environmental compatibility, making them attractive for various industrial applications. These results indicate that BS-D9 has potential applications as a surface-active agent with environmentally friendly properties.
