Abstract

The development of information technology has a big impact on the world of education. Progress in information technology makes it easier to implement learning. Blended learning is one of the learning that is in accordance with these developments.This study aims to analyze the learning outcomes and autonomy of students after blended learning. The research method used is mixed methods. The design used is explanatory sequential design. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique, with the study sample using one class in the XI MIPA class of SMA N 1 Padamara. Data collection methods in this study include documentation, tests, observations, questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study showed that the edmodo application assisted blended learning was obtained by the percentage of classical learning completeness of 86.67%, the percentage of skill aspects was 88.40% and the student attitude aspect was 82.29%. The analysis of the autonomy of students in class XI MIPA 1 obtained a percentage of 77.27%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes and autonomy of students of class XI MIPA 1 in SMA N 1 Padamara on acid-base material with assisted blended learning are edmodo applications are good. This shows that assisted blended learning is an effective edmodo application on student learning outcomes and autonomy.

Abstract

Learning also needs to be directed to familiarize students to formulate problems, not only solve problems. In addition, the learning done must train critical thinking skills not just thinking mechanically. The US-based Partnership for 21st Century Skills (P21), identifies the competencies needed in the 21st century namely "The 4Cs" - communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Science learning was developed as an integrative science subject, namely integrating applicative biology, physics and chemistry to develop thinking skills, expressing skills and developing innovating and collaborating skills. To improve critical thinking skills, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration, of course, the teacher must have the right model or method. PBL is a model that begins with a case and problem that has a goal so that students can solve the problem. This study aims to determine the profile of communication skills and critical thinking skills of students. Research carried out using the type of descriptive research with the method used is a qualitative method to observe critical thinking skills, creative, communication, and collaboration in science learning. The data taken was the result of observation of communication skills, the results of tests of critical thinking questions, and interviews of Muhammadiyah 4 Semarang Junior High  School students as many as 9 research subjects. The profile of students' communication skills was assessed from the results of observations during the last six meetings. The scores were averaged 55.56% with very high categories, namely SP1, SP2, SP3, SP5, SP6 and 44.44% of high-category students namely SP4, SP7, SP8, SP9. The results of the observations were also supported by the results of interviews of students from SP1 to SP9 which showed a correspondence with the scores obtained. The profile of students' critical thinking skills is assessed from the results of tests of critical thinking when the final learning material is obtained 11.11% is very high category, namely SP1; 33.33% of high category students, namely SP2, SP3, SP4; and 55.56% in the medium category, namely SP5, SP6, SP7, SP8, SP9. The results of the tests of critical thinking are also supported by the results of interviews of students from SP1 to SP9 which indicate the existence of correspondence with the scores obtained.

Abstract

Hasil  belajar  kimia  siswa  kelas XI SMA Negeri Ungaran masih  rendah. Hal  ini dikarenakan siswa kesulitan memahami konsep kimia. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penugasan dan penilaian portofolio dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan penugasan dan penilaian portofolio. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refl eksi. Obyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI PSIA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Ungaran. Fokus yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar siswa. Data hasil belajar kognitif siswa diperoleh dari nilai tiap siklus sedangkan hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik dari hasil observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai kognitif, psikomotorik dan afektif dari siklus I sampai siklus III. Hasil dari penilaian portofolio diketahui nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I,  II, dan III masing-masing adalah 74,4, 78,6 dan 81,1 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal berturut-turut adalah 95%, 100% dan 100%.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, penugasan, penilaian portofolio

Abstract

Moodle adalah salah satu software open sourcee-learning yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan e-learning berbasis Moodle dengan pendekatan Guided Inquiry terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi hidrokarbon kelas XI.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa di suatu SMAN di Purwodadi Kelas XI MIPA semester gasal tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest-only control design.Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berturut-turut adalah 83,33 dan 78,47. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji perbedaan rata-rata satu pihak yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar daripada tkritis.Artinya rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol.Hasil analisis kualitatif afektif dan psikomotorik kelas eksperimen tiap aspeknya lebih baik dari kelas kontrol.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan e-learning berbasis Moodle dengan pendekatan Guided Inquiry efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi hidrokarbon SMA kelas XI.

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of guided inquiry oriented green chemistry for science process skills at XI school grade of SMA in Semarang on 2012/2013 period. The population is normal and homogeneous, so to take two groups of samples using cluster random sampling techniques. Design of this research is posttest only control design. The succes of this research seen from cognitive aspect of student achievement reach KKM. At the final stage of the analysis, the t test used was left-test with t count > t table (1.696). The student achievement for experimental classes obtained t count of 3.860 while the control class 0,914. This suggests that the experimental class has achieved mastery learning, while the control class not yet. The average value of the psychomotor aspects of students in the experimental class was 82.6 which is included in the excellent category and control class was 74 included in good category. In the aspect of Students environmental concern, the average value of the experimental class was 88.65 included in the excellent category and class control was 81.7 included in good category. The conclusion was that the research-oriented guided inquiry of green chemistry proved effectively increase the science process skills.Keywords: Green Chemistry, Guided Inquiry, Science Process Skills

Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis 1,2-dimetoksi-4-propil benzena melalui reaksi metilasi eugenol dilanjutkan hidrogenasi metil eugenol yang dihasilkan. Hidrogenasi dilakukan dengan katalis Ni/Zeolit alam. Preparasi katalis dilakukan dengan aktivasi zeolit alam dengan perlakuan asam, impregnasi ion Ni 2+ dan kalsinasi pada temperatur 400 C selama.... jam. Hidrogenasi metil eugenol dengan katalis Ni-Za menghasilkan 1,2-dimetoksi-4-isopropil benzena maksimal 88,61% pada 175 o o C dan durasi reaksi 3 jam. Hasil transformasi diuji strukturnya dengan FTIR dan GC-MS. Spetra IR dan spektra massa membuktikan terbentuknya produk akhir 1,2-dimetoksi-4-propil benzena. Uji aktivitas atraktan 1,2-dimetoksi-4-propil benzena hasil hidrogenasi metil eugenol menunjukkan peningkatan selektivitas dibandingkan metil eugenol. Aktivitas maksimal didapatkan pada botol tidak berwarna (transparan) dengan atraktan 1,2-dimetoksi4-propil benzena dan ketinggian pemasangan 1,5 m.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of discovery learning model to students? learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja on buffer solution material. This research was true-experiment consisting of preliminary stage, preparation stage, implementation stage, and final stage. The applied design was experiment control group posttest-only design. Population in this research was class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja. Sampling was done using cluster random sampling technique. Class XI MIPA 5 as experiment class and class XI MIPA 6 as control class. Data collection includes documentation, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The result of the research shows that learning with discovery learning model in the experimental class reaches 91.18% (31 of 34 students), 100% practicum skills, 100% student attitude profile. While in the control class using ordinary learning (lecture and practice) obtained learning mastery of 67.65% (23 of 34 students), skills proficiency profile of 97%, and attitudinal profile of 94%. The experimental class students gave a positive response that the application of discovery learning model can increase students' interest and motivation. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that discovery learning model effective to students' learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 1 Sokaraja on buffer solution material.

Abstract

Absrak Nanoteknologi diaplikasikan secara luas di bidang sains dan teknologi dengan tingkat molekul dalam skala normalnya 1-100 nm. Pegunaan tumbuhan sebagai bioreduktor dalam green synthesis nanopartikel berhubungan dengan kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Minyak atsiri merupakan salah satu senyawa metabolit sekunder yang mudah menguap (volatil).Komponen utama minyak atsiri kayu manis adalah sinamaldehida merupakan senyawa yang memiliki gugus fungsi aldehida dan alkena terkonjugasi cincin benzena. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kemampuan bioreduktor dalam mensintesis nanopartikel emas dan karakteristik  nanopartikel emas. Minyak kayu manis diperoleh melalui proses destilasi uap air. Nanopartikel emas disintesis dengan pendekatan green synthesis, dengan cara mereduksi HAuCl4 berbagai konsentrasi dengan bioreduktor.  Hasil  analisis GC-MS minyak kayu manis diperoleh kadar sinamaldehid sebanyak 49,61%. Hasil analisis FTIR pada minyak atsiri kayu manis menunjukkan adanya gugus CHO aldehida pada pita serapan 2820,1 cm-1, 2743,54  cm-1, gugus C=C alkena pada pita serapan 1676,91cm-1, 1577,12 cm-1, hal ini menunjukkan adanya senyawa sinamaldehida. Nanopartikel emas yang dikarakterisasi menggunakan PSA memiliki ukuran partikel sebesar 140 nm dan ukuran nilai PI sebesar 0,315. Abstract Nanotechnology is widely applied in the fields of science and technology with molecular levels in the normal scale of 1-100 nm. The use of plants as bioreductors in green synthesis nanoparticles is related to the content of secondary metabolites which have antioxidant activity. Essential oil is one of the volatile secondary metabolites (volatiles). The main component of cinnamon essential oil is cinnamaldehyde, a compound that has a functional group of aldehydes and a benzene ring conjugated alkene. This study aims at the ability of bioreductors to synthesize gold nanoparticles and the characteristics of gold nanoparticles. Cinnamon oil is obtained through a steam distillation process. Gold nanoparticles are synthesized with the green synthesis approach, by reducing HAuCl4 various concentrations with the bioructor. The results of GC-MS cinnamon oil obtained 49,61% cinnamaldehyde. The results of FTIR analysis on cinnamon essential oil showed CHO aldehyde group on absorption band 2820,1 cm-1, 2743,54 cm-1, group C = C alkene on absorption band 1676,91cm-1, 1577,12 cm-1 , this indicates the presence of cinnamaldehyde compounds. Gold nanoparticles characterized using PSA have a particle size of 140 nm and a PI value of 0.315.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa pada daun kari dan kajian reaksi oksidasi  minyak daun kari (Murraya koenigii L.) menggunakan oksidator  KMnO4. Reaksi oksidasi dilakukan pada temperatur 25, 45 dan 65oC  berlangsung selama 30; 60; 90; 120; dan 150 menit. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dimulai dengan isolasi minyak menggunakan penyulingan destilasi uap dan air kemudian dilakukan identifikasi kandungan menggunakan gas chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) dan Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR), selanjutnya dilakukan reaksi oksidasi minyak daun kari dengan KMnO4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minyak daun kari mengandung senyawa golongan terpenoid. Hasil isolasi didapatkan 25 senyawa yang terkandung dalam minyak daun kari.  Komponen utamanya yaitu kariofilena (38,92%), ?-pinena (19,10%), ?-felandrena (8,91%), ?-humulena (7,13%) dan germakrena (6,51%). Hasil reaksi oksidasi minyak daun kari terdapat 63 senyawa hasil. Senyawa klovena dan ?-terpinena merupakan hasil reaksi yang paling merujuk untuk di analisis lebih lanjut. Klovena diduga berasal dari reaksi oksidasi kariofilena sedangkan ?-terpinena diduga merupakan produk isomerisasi ?-pinena. The aim of this study was to identify compounds in curry leaves and study the oxidation reaction of curry leaf oil (Murraya koenigii L.) using KMnO4 oxidizing agents. The oxidation reaction is carried out at temperatures 25, 45 and 65oC for 30; 60; 90; 120; and 150 minutes. The research method was carried out starting with oil isolation using steam and water distillation distillation then identification of the content using gas chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) and Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR), then oxidation of curry leaf oil with KMnO4. The results showed that curry leaf oil contained terpenoid compounds. The results of isolation obtained 25 compounds contained in curry leaf oil. The main components are caryophyllene (38.92%), ?-pinene (19.10%), ?-phellandrene (8.91%), ?-humulene (7.13%) and germacrene (6.51%). The results of the curry leaf oil oxidation reaction found 63 compounds. clovene and ?-terpinene compounds are the reaction products that most refer to further analysis. clovena is thought to originate from the caryophyllene oxidation reaction whereas ?-terpinene is thought to be an ?-pinene isomerization product.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse effectiveness of Project Based Blended Learning (PB2L) to mathematics communication skill of students and to describe the skill on PB2L learning with moodle. This mixed method research with sequential explanatory design took XMIPA of SMA N Garawangi, Kuningan, in academic year 2018/2019 as the population. The subjects consisted of 33 XMIPA4 students. The techniques of collecting data were test, observation, documentation, and interview. Based on the findings, the mathematics communication skill on PB2L with moodle was effective. Students with poor mathematics communication skill consisted of 2 persons, the moderate students consisted of 24 persons, while the high category students consisted of 7 persons.
