Rice production was a crucial component in maintaining national food security, particularly in Sumatra, which was known as one of Indonesia's rice granaries. This study aimed to analyze the determinant factors affecting rice production in Sumatra using a multiple linear regression approach. Secondary data utilized in this research included 224 observations from eight provinces in Sumatra, covering the period from 1993 to 2020. The independent variables analyzed included Year, Harvest Area, Rainfall, Humidity, and Average Temperature, with Rice Production as the dependent variable. The resulting multiple linear regression model was expressed by the following equation: Rice Production (Y) = −63.442.498,904 + 32.535,572 × Year + 4,622 × Harvest Area + 46,106 × Rainfall – 3.993,403 × Humidity – 62.701,579 × Average Temperature. Data processing was performed using SPSS software, which included normality testing, linearity testing, simultaneous F-test, and coefficient of determination analysis. The normality test results indicated that the residuals of the model were normally distributed (Asymp. Sig. = 0.227 > 0.05). The linearity test showed a significant linear relationship between the independent variables and rice production, with no deviation from linearity. The regression model demonstrated a coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.877, meaning that 87.7% of the variation in rice production could be explained simultaneously by these five variables. Furthermore, the F-test results indicated that the regression model was statistically significant (Sig. = 0.000). These findings suggested that the five variables significantly influenced rice production and could serve as a basis for strategic decision-making in the agricultural sector. The resulting model also held the potential as a predictive tool in planning policies to enhance rice production in the future.

The purpose of the study is to optimize the cooling system maintenance on the Mitsubishi 6UEC52LS Main Engine on the MT. Princess Naomi belongs to PT. Waruna Nusa Sentana. This research was conducted in the engine room of the MT. Princess Naomi. This research employed qualitative descriptive approach methods. Data collection techniques were obtained through field research by combining observation methods, documentation, in-depth interviews, and a literature review. Data analysis was conducted in triangulation (combination). The results of the study showed that the maintenance of the diesel engine cooling system on the MT. Princess Naomi belongs to PT. Waruna Nusa Sentana has been running optimally with an average after optimization treatment of 83.75%. The cooling system on the main engine of the MT. Princess Naomi applied a closed cooling system. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education opened up significant opportunities to improve the quality of learning through personalization, efficiency, and innovation. This community service program aimed to enhance the digital literacy of junior high school teachers at SMP IT Baitussalam Prambanan, Yogyakarta by utilizing AI in the learning process. The program involved 14 teachers and included training on integrating AI into lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation using applications such as ChatGPT, Moodle, and coding tools. The methods employed included identifying teachers’ needs, preparing training materials, conducting activities, and evaluating the impact. The training results showed an increase in teachers’ confidence in developing AI-based Lesson Plans (RPP) and using interactive learning media. AI also helped teachers better understand students’ learning needs, creating a more personalized and effective learning experience. The program concluded that AI-based training had a significant positive impact in supporting the transformation of learning, with recommendations for follow-up training to deepen teachers' understanding of AI technology in broader educational contexts.

Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) bertujuan untuk mendorong fleksibilitas dan kolaborasi dalam sistem pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, salah satunya melalui mobilitas dosen antar kampus. Sehingga membuka peluang bagi dosen untuk mengajar di kampus lain sebagai bentuk pengabdian, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pertukaran pengetahuan antar perguruan tinggi. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada kontribusi dosen dalam memperkaya metode pembelajaran di kampus lain, sekaligus mendukung sinergi akademik lintas institusi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan dalam pengabdian masyakarat ini menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran dosen dari luar kampus memperkuat interaksi ilmiah, menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih dinamis, dan membuka peluang kolaborasi penelitian maupun pengabdian. Fuel system maintenance is one system that plays an important role in the smooth operation of a diesel engine, because each diesel engine will not be separated from fuel for the combustion process in running or operating an engine. The purpose of this study is to find out how the maintenance activities of the diesel engine fuel system type 12 PC4 – 2V on KM ships. Mutiara Berkah II which is one of the cruise fleets owned by PT. Atosim Lampung Sailing. The research methodology used is qualitative descriptive with field research. Data collection was used using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results showed that diesel engine fuel system maintenance activities as the main mover on KM ships. Mutiara Berkah II at PT. Atosim Lampung The cruise has been going well.

In ensuring the safety of shipping as a support for the smooth running of ship traffic at sea, it is necessary to have a crew member who is skilled, capable, and skilled. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the plan maintenance system and the readiness of the crew on the smooth operation of the MV. Asike Global at PT. Korindo Cruise Jakarta. The method used in this study was descriptive quantitative, where the sample used was 30 people. Sampling technique with saturated sampling. The type of data used is primary and secondary data, where primary data is obtained from questionnaires while secondary from literature and books. Data analysis techniques use Likert scale weighting, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determinant coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing both simple and multiple. Based on the analysis and discussion, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of the plan maintenance system on the smooth running of operations, there is a positive and significant influence of the readiness of the crew on the smooth operation, there is a positive and significant influence of the plan maintenance system and the readiness of the crew on the smooth operation of the MV. Asike Global at PT. Korindo Cruise Jakarta.

Given the magnitude of responsibility in carrying out the task of maintaining the health of the longmarch participants who traveled a distance of approximately 35 km, a clear division of work is needed, the work of First Aid in accidents team personnel. The purpose of this community service is to conduct continuous education training First Aid in management planning and division of work in the long march activity at the Yogyakarta Maritime College. The service method used is to carry out continuing education and First Aid in accident training for cadets. The result of this community service is the implementation of continuing education training First Aid for several years from 2017 until now as well as the readiness of management planning and division of work for First Aid team officers in logmarch activities at the Yogyakarta Maritime College. Overall, the results of this service not only improve the quality and competence of individual cadets, but also have a positive impact on their community and surrounding environment. Trained and knowledgeable cadets are expected to become future leaders who contribute to the development of a healthier and safer society.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi alat keselamatan di Kapal MT. Patra Tanker 2 agar dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sementara itu teknik pengumpulan data didapatkan melalui penelitian lapangan field research dengan penggabungan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan interview mendalam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan fungsi alat keselamatan sangat penting dalam mendukung suatu kapal dalam berlayar terutama jika kapal tersebut dalam keadaan bahaya baik itu kebakaran, orang jatuh kelaut, kepal tenggelam dan lain-lainnya. Alat keselamatan agar dapat berfungsi dengan baik dengan cara, selalu diadakan perawatan rutin. Agar pada saat terjadi keadaan darurat, alat-alat keselamat dapat berfungsi dan dapat digunakan dengan baik. Pada Kapal MT. Patra Tanker2 alat-alat keselamatan sudah baik dan lengkap serta sudah mematuhi peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh IMO.

In determining the seaworthiness of the ship, ship inspection is very important to do. KSOP has a very important role in determining the seaworthiness of ships. This study aims to determine the role of marine inspectors in ship inspection at KSOP Class IV Probolinggo. The research used qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out by surveys and interviews. The results of this study show that the marine inspector has the role and task of preparing to discuss the formulation and implementation of policies, standards, norms, guidelines, criteria, and procedures as well as technical guidance, evaluation, certification, and reporting in the fields of ship design, measurement, construction and stability of ships, nautical, technical, and radio as well as equipment and equipment for ship safety and equipment as well as prevention of pollution from ships and management of ship safety and operation for ships indonesian flags that sail in Indonesian and international waters for all types of ships and all sizes. In the duties of inspection and measurement of ships carried out in the Legal Status and Certification of Ships section, carry out inspection tasks at the Port of Probolinggo. The results of the survey of the marine administration examination and physical examination were obtained that it took an average of 32.57 minutes.

Muara Berau Anchorage is one of the waters in East Kalimantan that many ships visit for coal loading and unloading activities. The coal export transhipment was carried out in the Berau Estuary, Samarinda because the draft of large ships did not allow it to enter the far and shallow river channel. In the execution of loading there is often a shortage of load caused by several factors. The purpose of the study is to determine the causes and impacts of load deadfreight and efforts to reduce the occurrence of load deadfreight in the coal loading process. The methods used are descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation, interviews and literature studies that were tested for validity and reliability tests. The results of this study show that the cause of the load deadfreight in the MV. RB MYA is the theft of cargo along the Mahakam river, spillage of coal cargo during the loading process, and lack of supervision in the loading process at the Jetty. The impact of the deadfreight of coal cargo is the occurrence of a shortage of shiploads and the occurrence of losses for shippers. Efforts were made to reduce the occurrence of payload deadfreights in the MV. RB MYA is to hold barge escorts, increase the effectiveness of communication between the ship and floating cranes, and increase the number of Foreman Jetty.
