Abstract

This research is to find outThe influence of organizational climate, communication competence and work motivation on the performance of North Sumatra Sharia Bank employees in North Sumatra. This research uses quantitative methods, with a form of descriptive research that processes data using the results of distributing questionnaires to population samples, so as to obtain a significant relationship and a mutual tendency towards the probability of error regarding the hypothesis being built. This type of research approaches path analysis (path analysis). The results of this research are: 1. Organizational climate has a direct positive effect on work motivation at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 8%. 2. Communication competency has a direct effect on work motivation at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11.2%. 3. Organizational climate has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11.9%. 4. Communication competency has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 12.6%. 5. Work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11%. 6. Organizational climate has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 1.5%. 7. Communication competency has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 0.8%. Work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11%. 6. Organizational climate has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 1.5%. 7. Communication competency has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 0.8%. Work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra by 11%. 6. Organizational climate has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 1.5%. 7. Communication competency has an indirect effect on employee performance at Bank Sumut Syariah in North Sumatra through work motivation of 0.8%.

Abstract

This research is to find out; 1) direct influence of organizational culture on lecturer performance, 2) direct influence of lecturer cognitive abilities on lecturer performance, 3) direct influence of lecturer work teams on lecturer performance, 4) influence of organizational culture on work teams, 5) direct influence of cognitive abilities on work teams , 6) the indirect influence of organizational culture on performance through work teams, 7) the indirect influence of cognitive abilities on lecturer performance through work teams. This research uses quantitative methods, with a form of descriptive research that processes data using the results of distributing questionnaires to population samples, so as to obtain a significant relationship and a mutual tendency towards the probability of error regarding the hypothesis being built. This type of research approaches path analysis (path analysis). This research examines or analyzes the relationship between research variables, as well as measuring the influence of one variable on other variables. In this research, there are four variables that will be studied, namely (1) organizational culture, (2) cognitive abilities, (3) work team, and (4) lecturer performance. The population in this study were all permanent lecturers at private universities consisting of forty-three (43) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra. The sample used in this research was proportional random sampling guided by the Krejcle and Morgan tables. The research sample included 311 lecturers from eight (8) universities and high schools in Kopertais Region IX, North Sumatra who were still active until 2021/2022. The results of the research, the R-Square value of Lecturer Performance (Y) is 0.760, which means that Organizational Culture (X1), Cognitive Ability (X2), and Work Team (X3) are able to explain Lecturer Performance (Y) by 76%, the remaining 24% explained by other factors, the R-Square value of the Work Team (X3) is 0.500, which means that Organizational Culture (X1) and Cognitive Ability (X2) are able to explain the Work Team (X3) by 50%, the remaining 50% is explained by other factors, Organizational Culture (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Lecturer Performance (Y), with a coefficient value (Original Sample column) = 0.383, and P-Values = 0.000 < 0.05 (Hypothesis Accepted),

Abstract

This study focuses on teacher performance management in integrated Islamic elementary schools Qur'an Kisaran, in this study a qualitative case study type method was used. data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that first, in teacher performance planning, the school and teachers work together to set clear and measurable goals. Teachers also make specific performance indicators and develop detailed and structured lesson plans. In addition, professional development efforts must also be carried out by teachers to improve the quality of teaching, and they also make a performance evaluation plan. Furthermore, in implementing performance, the teacher carries out learning activities according to the curriculum, conveys subject matter in a way that is easily understood by students, measures student progress objectively, creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and attends training and professional development regularly. Finally, in performance appraisal, the principal makes direct observations of each teacher with scheduled class supervision, teachers are assessed on the basis of academic progress and student achievement in the subjects taught, assessments of other teacher colleagues or fellow staff provide input on the assessed teacher's performance, and teachers compile portfolios containing evidence of their performance. In addition, teachers are also asked to do personal reflection about their performance.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the role of principals as leaders in improving teacher quality in the Panai Hulu sub-district, Labuhan Batu district. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation methods. Analysis of the data followed Huberman and Miles' approach, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Additionally, the data's validity was assessed using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria proposed by Lincold and Guba. The findings of this study revealed several strategies implemented by Aliyah Madrasah heads to improve teacher quality, such as collaborating with external parties, providing motivation through training and workshops, maximizing subject teacher deliberations, facilitating continuing education, maintaining teacher resource materials, and conducting teacher supervision activities. The performance of the madrasa heads in enhancing teacher quality was assessed based on competencies such as personality, managerial skills, entrepreneurship, supervision, and social skills. However, various obstacles and constraints were identified, including financial difficulties faced by private madrasahs, resulting in limited resources and heavy reliance on the BOS funds. Additionally, teachers' punctuality and the age-related challenges in utilizing appropriate teaching media were identified as hindrances to improving teacher quality.

Abstract

Pola komunikasi antar budaya adalah gambaran dua orang atau lebih yang memiliki latar belakang budaya yang berbeda dalam proses pengiriman pesan dan penerimaan pesan dengan cara yang tepat, sehingga pesan yang di maksud dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Komunikasi antar budaya etnis didalamsekolah termasuk kebudayaan dalam berkomunikasi sehingga berjalan dengan baik, kemudian yang menjadi pokok permasalahanya adalah bagaimana pola komunikasi antar budaya di desa lingkungan masyarakat dan lingkungan sekolah dalam menjaga toleransi hidup bermasyarakat.

Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of education and training, supervision, and pedagogic competence of the commitment of teacher profession. This quantitative research using a survey methods and techniques of path analysis. The population was in junior high school teacher Sarolangun by the number of samples 247 respondents selected by proportional sampling The results of data analysis showed that (1) the education and training of a positive direct impact against teachers' commitment of to the profession, (2) the supervision of a positive direct impact against the commitment of the teacher profession, (3) pedagogic competence positive direct impact against the commitment of the teacher profession, (4) education and training direct positif effect against pedagogical, (5) supervision of the principal positive direct impact against pedagogic competencies. There is should be an effort to improve education and training based on the needs of teachers and pro-actively supervise principals in improving the profession of commitment. Kata kunci:     pendidikan dan latihan, supervisi, kompetensi paedagogik, komitmen profesi guru

Abstract

Talking about the educator, Islam is complete in describing an ideal educator figure, but still real and synchronized in every space and time. Prophet Muhammad Sholloulohu 'alaihi wa sallam is the figure of the ideal educator in any educational activities, both the material being presented, the method applied, or programmed curriculum. So that the learners who were born into a generation that was capable both in terms of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and conative, so as to change the paradigm of civilization and distorted and underdeveloped. The idealism of the Prophet Muhammad as an educator this is the next level can be used as a reference for anyone who wants to become a full figure of educators who idealita but still reality, although of course absolutely not be able to equal it. In fact, this does not only apply to Muslims in particular, but also for other peoples. Because his message addressed to all mankind. Abstract

This research was conducted at the Balai Diklat Keagamaan Medan with the aim of evaluating the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program in substantive technical training for the preparation of the RPP for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers. This type of research is qualitative research using the CIPP (context, input, process and product) evaluation model which focuses on core questions, namely the context of the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program, the input conditions for the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program, the process conditions for the improvement program. Madrasah teacher competencies and product conditions in the Madrasah teacher competency improvement program. The results of this study consisted of 4 components. First. The context dimension is the analysis of the legal basis criteria, that every education and training must have a legal umbrella including Regulation of the Minister of Religion 10 of 2018 concerning amendments to PMA No. 59 of 2015 concerning the Organization and Work Procedure of the Education and Training Center and the Criteria for the Analysis of the Education and Training Organization, that the education and training organization that manages the education and training activities has a legal basis and also has a legal basis at work, the education and training organization is a transition of responsibility from the Kasi to the training committee. Educational and Religious Technical Staff were then given a Letter of Appointment (SK).
