Abstract

Kepala sekolah sangat menentukan keberhasilan suatu sekolah, seorang tenaga fungsional guru yang diberi tugas untuk memimpin suatu sekolah dimana diselenggarakannya  proses  belajar  mengajar,  atau  tempat  dimana  terjadi interaksi  antara  guru  yang  memberi  pelajaran  dan  murid  yang  menerima pelajaran, Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa, kepala sekolah menuntut agar guru lebih dapat melakukan penelitian dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, mengembangkan diri, membuat artikel, dan membuat karya ilmiah sebagai salah satu pelaksanaan dalam kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan mengetahui besarnya kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa, Besarnya kontribusi motivasi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa, Besarnya kontribusi kepemimpinan dan motivasi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil penilitian, maka dapat diambil simpulan adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa. Besar kontribusi 10,3%., Motivasi kepala sekolah memiliki kontribusi yang signifik.an terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa. Besar Kontribusi 45,3 dan kepemimpinan dan motivasi kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Huda Kota Langsa. Besar Kontribusi 26,3%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of meeting the standards of educators and education personnel in the leading integrated modern Islamic boarding school Darul Mursyid, South Tapanuli Regency. The research method used in this research is using qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this study conclude that (1) the Islamic boarding school determines a minimum qualification of S-1 for educators and is competent according to the field of expertise; (2) the pesantren implements training activities, supervision, placement according to the field of expertise, and regular assessment of educators; (3) the pesantren takes time for educators to be able to attend training and develop their potential, as well as opportunities for comparative stunies; (4) equalizing the perception of educators that learning orientation is to create Islamic, independent, moral, intellectual and professional students; and (5) the pesantren creates a sustainable pattern for educators and education personnel in planning, procurement, coaching and development, promotion, termination/termination of work contracts, and evaluation equally for every educator and education staff.

Abstract

The principal, as a leader, must possess several abilities, including personal skills, knowledge of educational staff, the school's vision and mission, decision-making abilities, and communication skills. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. For data analysis, the study employs the analysis framework by Huberman and Miles, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is ensured through Lincoln and Guba's criteria, including credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings of this study show that: 1). The strategy of the principal at SD IT Roudhotul Ilmi Anshor in preparing teacher professionalism involves examining and assessing teachers' competency levels, providing guidance and motivation, offering opportunities, conducting evaluations, and giving rewards to teachers. 2). The principal's performance in preparing teacher professionalism is evaluated based on several competencies, including personality competence, managerial competence, entrepreneurial competence, supervisory competence, and social competence. 3). An effective strategy for the principal in preparing teacher professionalism involves closely observing teachers' abilities, providing guidance and motivation, offering opportunities and training, conducting evaluations, and giving rewards to teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe how the implementation (implementation) of administration and (2) the constraints and solutions that exist in the implementation of administration in MIN 1 Medan. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative research approach. The informants of this study were madrasa heads, teachers, administrative staff and students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed by interactive analysis which flowed with activities including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Testing the validity of the data is done by triangulation of methods and sources. From the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) The implementation of administration in MIN 1 Medan has been carried out properly and is organized as a function of the administration itself (2) Obstacles in the implementation of administration even if there are solutions can be found by first reflecting and evaluating.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal: 1) The contribution of commitment to the work discipline of State Junior High School teachers in East Binjai District, 2) The contribution of giving rewards to the work discipline of Public Junior High School teachers in East Binjai District, and 3) The contribution of work commitment and mutual reward on the discipline of state junior high school teachers in East Binjai District. This study uses simple and multiple regression statistical analysis techniques with a sample of 42 teachers. Data collection techniques were obtained through a questionnaire. The findings of this study reveal that there is a significant and meaningful contribution between commitment to assignments and teacher work discipline. This means that the higher and positive the commitment to the task, the higher and positive the work discipline of SMP Negeri teachers in East Binjai District by providing an effective contribution of 14.3%. This means that the variation that occurs in the commitment variable to the task of 14.3% can be predicted in improving teacher work discipline; there is a significant and meaningful contribution to the provision of rewards to the work discipline of teachers. This means that the higher and more positive the reward, the higher and positive the work discipline of SMP Negeri teachers in East Binjai District by providing an effective contribution of 14.2%. This means that the variation that occurs in the variable reward of 14.2% can be predicted in improving teacher work discipline; and there is a significant and meaningful contribution to the commitment to the task and the joint provision of rewards to the teacher's work discipline. This means that the higher and positive the commitment to the task and the provision of rewards together, the higher and positive the work discipline of SMP Negeri teachers in East Binjai District by providing an effective contribution of 14.7%. This means that the variation that occurs in the variable of commitment to the task and the provision of rewards together of 14.7% can be predicted in improving teacher work discipline.

Abstract

This study focuses on teacher performance management in integrated Islamic elementary schools Qur'an Kisaran, in this study a qualitative case study type method was used. data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that first, in teacher performance planning, the school and teachers work together to set clear and measurable goals. Teachers also make specific performance indicators and develop detailed and structured lesson plans. In addition, professional development efforts must also be carried out by teachers to improve the quality of teaching, and they also make a performance evaluation plan. Furthermore, in implementing performance, the teacher carries out learning activities according to the curriculum, conveys subject matter in a way that is easily understood by students, measures student progress objectively, creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and attends training and professional development regularly. Finally, in performance appraisal, the principal makes direct observations of each teacher with scheduled class supervision, teachers are assessed on the basis of academic progress and student achievement in the subjects taught, assessments of other teacher colleagues or fellow staff provide input on the assessed teacher's performance, and teachers compile portfolios containing evidence of their performance. In addition, teachers are also asked to do personal reflection about their performance.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the role of principals as leaders in improving teacher quality in the Panai Hulu sub-district, Labuhan Batu district. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation methods. Analysis of the data followed Huberman and Miles' approach, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Additionally, the data's validity was assessed using credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria proposed by Lincold and Guba. The findings of this study revealed several strategies implemented by Aliyah Madrasah heads to improve teacher quality, such as collaborating with external parties, providing motivation through training and workshops, maximizing subject teacher deliberations, facilitating continuing education, maintaining teacher resource materials, and conducting teacher supervision activities. The performance of the madrasa heads in enhancing teacher quality was assessed based on competencies such as personality, managerial skills, entrepreneurship, supervision, and social skills. However, various obstacles and constraints were identified, including financial difficulties faced by private madrasahs, resulting in limited resources and heavy reliance on the BOS funds. Additionally, teachers' punctuality and the age-related challenges in utilizing appropriate teaching media were identified as hindrances to improving teacher quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine: (1) The influence of emotional intelligence on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan; (2) The influence of stress management on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan; and (3) The combined influence of emotional intelligence and stress management on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan. The population of this study is all teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan, totaling 56 people, with a sample size of 30 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire using the Likert scale model. Assumption tests were conducted to test for normality and linearity. Data analysis techniques used simple and multiple regression at a significance level of ? = 0.05. The findings of this research indicate: (1) The influence of emotional intelligence (X1) on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan (Y) is 94.2% with the equation ? = 6.998 + 0.911 X1; (2) The influence of stress management (X2) on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan (Y) is 98.2% with the regression equation ? = 0.283 + 1.043 X2; and (3) The combined influence of emotional intelligence (X1) and stress management (X2) on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 35 Percut Sei Tuan (Y) is 98.3% with the regression equation ? = 1.223 + 0.148 X1 + 1.206 X2. This regression line equation explains that if emotional intelligence and stress management factors increase by one unit, teacher performance will also increase by 2.557 units.
