Abstract

This development research aims to produce worksheet chemical bonds based on Learning Cycle 7E,  to know the validity level of the worksheet according to the validators, to know the practicality level of the worksheet according to the teacher, and to know the attractiveness level of the worksheet according to students. The development model follows the plomp model. Plomp consists of the preliminary investigation phase, the design phase, realization or construction phase, the test phase, evaluation and revision, and the implementation phase. Based on the results of product validation by three validators, the results obtained with the category valid from five aspects, namely the feasibility of the content, Learning Cycle 7E characteristics, language, presentation, and graphics with the percentage of 91.67%, 92.71%, 94.44%, 91.66%, and 88.89%. Teachers 'response as worksheet users based on the Learning Cycle 7E category is very practical with a percentage of 88.15%, and students' responses to worksheet based on the Learning Cycle 7E category are very interesting with a percentage of 89.99%.

Abstract

Akar tapak kuda (Bauhinia hullettii Prain) merupakan tumbuhan  dari genus Bauhinia yang banyak dijumpai di Indonesia. Tumbuhan Bauhinia dilaporkan kaya akan senyawa flavonoid dan stilbenoid. Dua senyawa flavanon (1 dan 2) dan senyawa fenolik (3) terdapat pada kulit batang dan daun akar tapak kuda.Uji aktivitas antioksidan dari tiga senyawa terhadap radikal DPPH menunjukkan aktifitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat untuk senyawa 1 (5,7,3’,5’-tetrahidroksi flavanon)  dan  3 (asam 3,4,5-trihidroksibenzoat).  Senyawa 2 (5,7,4’-trihidroksi-6-metilflavanon) tidak aktif sebagai antioksidan dengan IC50>1000 µg/mL. Senyawa 1 dan 3 diketahui lebih aktif daripada Vitamin C dengan IC50 masing-masing 6,33 dan 1,26 µg/mL. Kata Kunci: Bauhinia hullettiiPrain, flavonoid, fenolik, aktivitas antioksidan

Abstract

Peran mikroba endofit dalam memproduksi metabolit sekunder dengan kualitas yang hampir sama dengan tanaman aslinya sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bakteri endofit yang terdapat didalam jaringan kulit batang Laban (Vitex pubescens Vahl) serta kemampuannya untuk memproduksi metabolit bioaktif yang mempunyai aktivitas sitotoksik. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teknik inokulasi langsung dengan jalan meletakkan sampel tanaman di atas permukaan Nutrient Agar (NA). Metoda Micro tetrazolium (MTT) digunakan untuk menetapkan aktivitas sitotoksik dari ekstrak etilasetat. Bakteri endofit yang berhasil diisolasi sebanyak 3 isolat yaitu Bakteri-2A, Bakteri -3B dan Bakteri-6C. Berdasarkan hasil penapisan dari 3 isolat tersebut didapatkan dua bakteri yang memiliki aktivitas potensial yang baik terhadap sel serviks (HeLa) yaitu isolat Bakteri – 6C (IC50 = 82.54 µg/mL) dan Bakteri-2A (IC50 = 297.09 µg/mL). Isolat yang menunjukkan aktivitas sitotoksik terbesar adalah isolat Bakteri-6C sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa isolat tersebut merupakan isolat yang paling potensial sebagai penghasil senyawa antikanker.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan model pembelajaran Osborn dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pokok bahasan reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi di kelas X MIPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah eksperimen serta rancangan penelitian randomized control group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian ini kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kedua kelas dilakukan uji normalitas menggunakan uji Liliefors dan diuji homogenitas menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Osborn sedangkan kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan Osborn. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t pihak kanan. berdasarkan uji analisis data diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,30 >1,67, artinya penerapan model pembelajaran Osborn dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pokok bahasan hidrokarbon di kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The implementation of Novick learning model has been implemented in class XI MIA SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. Ther purpose of this study is to achieve student’s mastery learning on the subject of buffer solution. The type of this research is pra-experiment research with one-shot study case design. The research data were collected from 27 March to 25 April 2019. The population in the research were class XI MIA SMAN 1 Kampar Timur. The samples were selected from the three existing classes, namely class XI MIA 4. Data analysis technique used is to calculate presentation of classical mastery learning. Based on the researth results were obtained by classical learning completeness of 77.78 % and classical indicator completeness was 80 %. This means that the application of the Novick learning model can achieve student learning completeness in the material buffer solution in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Timur.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Schoology-based e-learning media and to find out the validity and response of users (teachers and students). The method used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The implementation stage was not carried out due to the limitations of the research. Validation tests carried out by material and media experts as well as limited trials on students and teachers were obtained using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The validation results from material and media expert showed the percentage of 93.23% and 90.69% in the valid category. The results of trial by student and teacher responses showed the percentage of 94.40% and 93.12% in good category. The Schoology-based e-learning media on ion equilibrium and buffer solutions is valid and suitable for use in online learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive e-module on redox concept. Research and Development (R&D) method was used in this study with a Plomp model. This model included three phases: preliminary, prototype or development, and assessment. Validation sheets and response questionnaires were used as research instruments. Six expert lecturers, consisting of three media and materials experts each, assessed the validity sheets. A small-scale test was carried out utilizing two approaches; a one-to-one test and a small group test. A one-to-one test was given to three students who had high, medium, and low abilities; while the small group test was conducted on three teachers and 30 students from three different schools, which are MAN 2 Pekanbaru, MAN 1 Pekanbaru, and SMA IT Al-fitiyah. The results showed that the interactive e-module was very valid and could be used in learning activities. This is indicated by the percentage of validation from material experts 89.27% and media experts 88.76%. In a small-scale trial for a one-on-one test, the teacher's response 95.83% with very practical criteria; and student response test 87.73% with interesting criteria.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the KAPRA learning model (associate, experience, think, negotiate, and apply) students' critical thinking skills on buffer solutions. The subjects of this research are students of class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental and class XI MIPA 4 as the control class at SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. The method uses experimental research with a randomized control group pretest-posttest research design. The data obtained were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis testing and N-Gain test. The results showed that the KAPRA learning model effectively increased students' critical thinking skills. Based on the hypothesis test, tcount > ttable (5.89 > 1.66) with the N-Gain value in the moderate category of 0.52.

Abstract

Abstract: The Research about application ofcooperative learning modelbermain jawabanhas beendonetoimprove student’s achievementon the topic ofnomenclature of compounds and chemical equations at 10th of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru November 2013. This research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X.7classas control classandX.5classas experiment class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Cooperative learning model bermain jawaban applied in X.5. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtainedtcount>ttable (4,04> 1,66). It means that the application of cooperative learning model bermain jawaban can improve student’s achievement on the topic of nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations at10th of SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. The improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was supported by N-Gain score 0,79 that included in high category.Keyword :Cooperative Learning, Bermain Jawaban, Nomenclature of Compounds and Chemical Equations

Abstract

Isolation, characterization, and in vitro testing against murine leukemia P-388 cell of flavonoid compounds from Bauhinia hullettii Prain stem bark have beenperformed. Isolation was carried out by extraction and fractionation. Extraction usedmeceration method at room temperature to obtain n-Heksana extract, dicloromethaneextract, and etil acetate extract. Based on phytochemical testing, etil acetate extractcontain flavonoid compounds. Extraxct etil acetate was fractionated by vacumcolumn chromatography, gravitation column chromatography, and flash columnchromatography. The fractionation resulted yellow crystal that having melting pointof 188oC - 189oC. The in vitro testing against murine leukimia P-388 cell of isolatedflavonoid compounds show “medium” activity with IC50 = 22,5 μg/ml.Key word : Bauhinia hullettii Prain, Flavonoid, Murine Leukemia P-388 Cell
