Abstract

This study examines the role of academic supervision in enhancing the professionalism of Christian Religious Education (CRE) teachers. Educational supervision is vital for helping teachers develop their pedagogical, social, and spiritual competencies. This research employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, analyzing 10 relevant articles published between 2019 and 2024. The results showed that academic supervision has a significant influence on PAK teachers' professionalism, encompassing aspects of knowledge, skills, and character. The positive results of supervision not only improve teachers' ability to manage learning but also contribute to improving the overall quality of education. Although there are challenges in implementing supervision, such as a lack of coordination and differences in the educational backgrounds of PAK teachers, a collaborative approach can create a supportive atmosphere for teacher development. Therefore, academic supervision should be viewed as a coaching effort that aims to foster a mutually supportive partnership among principals, supervisors, and teachers to enhance the quality of education. Abstract

Civics Education (PPKn) in elementary schools is often perceived as less engaging due to its conceptual nature and conventional teaching methods, leading to low student learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model integrated with classroom management on fourth-grade students' Civics learning outcomes. A quasi-experimental method was used with a Posttest Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The subjects were two fourth-grade classes, each consisting of 29 students. The experimental group was taught using the TGT model, while the control group received traditional instruction. A multiple-choice test with 25 validated items was used to measure learning outcomes. Data analysis involved normality and homogeneity tests, followed by an Independent Sample T-Test. The findings showed a significant difference between the two groups (sig. 0.011 < 0.05), with the experimental group scoring higher on average. These results indicate that the TGT model supported by effective classroom management can improve Civics learning outcomes. Therefore, this model is recommended as an engaging and effective alternative to conventional methods in Civics Education.

Abstract

Fourth-grade students aged 7–11 are in the concrete operational stage, making it easier for them to understand mathematical concepts through real-life experiences. However, the teaching methods applied have not sufficiently incorporated hands-on activities, resulting in low interest and poor learning outcomes. This study aimed to implement the experiential learning model using illustrated dice media to improve cognitive learning outcomes at SDN Pulutan 02. This Classroom Action Research adopted the Initial Reflection model by Rustiyarso and Tri Wijaya, involving 11 students as subjects. Data were collected through tests and interviews. The results showed an increase in the average score from 69 in Cycle I to 79 in Cycle II, and classical mastery from 65% to 82%. Improvements were observed in the aspects of understanding, application, analysis, and creation, although evaluation still required guidance. The process also enhanced students’ engagement, curiosity, and collaboration, and helped them understand data presentation in real-life contexts. This model is recommended for use in other learning contexts, accompanied by reflection activities to strengthen evaluative skills and connect material to students’ everyday experiences.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the challenges faced by school principals in conducting conventional academic supervision, which is often hindered by time constraints, limited resources, and data accessibility issues. To address these problems, a web-based academic supervision system was developed. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). In the Define stage, problem identification was carried out through observations and interviews at Sidorejo Kidul 2 Public Elementary School. The analysis results indicated that academic supervision had been conducted manually and was not systematically documented. In the Design stage, a prototype of the web-based academic supervision system was designed with key features such as supervision data management, supervision report generation, and real-time feedback. In the Develop stage, validation was conducted by information technology and academic supervision experts, revealing that the web-based supervision system falls into the "Highly Feasible" category, with a feasibility percentage of 83.33% for the technology aspect and 92.9% for the academic supervision aspect. A field trial involving school principals, teachers, and educational staff showed that the system achieved a user satisfaction rate of 81.4%.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the inclusive education program at SD Negeri Gendongan 01 Salatiga using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product) in relation to the stages of school management. The research employed an evaluative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, classroom teachers, special education support teachers (GPK), and shadow teachers. The findings indicate that SD Negeri Gendongan 01 Salatiga demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive education, as reflected in its school vision and focus on the development of students with special needs. However, there are challenges related to facilities and infrastructure, including the absence of dedicated classrooms for students with special needs. The input dimension also revealed limitations in human resources, although the presence of GPK and shadow teachers supports the inclusive program. In terms of process, student support is provided through a structured system, although the effectiveness of facilities and infrastructure still requires improvement. The product evaluation shows positive academic development, albeit with variability in individual student achievement. This study concludes that although the inclusive education program at SD Negeri Gendongan 01 has produced promising results, significant challenges remain that must be addressed to improve the quality of inclusive education. The implications of this study suggest the need to strengthen formal policies and enhance the quality of human resources in inclusive schools.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to further examine the strategies used by primary schools in Bengkayang, a border area, in developing the concept of digital economy through the Pelajar Pancasila Profile in the dimension of critical reasoning. This research is an exploratory study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects consist of three primary schools in the border area with different accreditation levels: A, B, and C accreditation. Four teachers were selected from each school, making a total of 12 teacher respondents in this study. The data collection includes interviews, open questionnaires, observations, and literature review. The results of this study show that the concept of digital economy is still unstructured, which can be seen from the fact that the teaching materials used have not been constructed comprehensively. The limitations of understanding related to the concept of the digital economy in elementary schools have not been fully mastered by teachers, so it also has an impact on student understanding. Such conditions encourage the need for training, especially in designing teaching materials and assessments that can accommodate this need. In addition, schools also need to support the improvisation of teaching materials so that they do not depend on the textbooks.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has led to a decline in student character, particularly in politeness, empathy, and respectful social behavior. In response, SD Negeri Gendongan 01 Salatiga implemented the 5S cultural program (Smile, Greet, Salute, Polite, Courteous) as a strategy for character education. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the 5S program using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) aligned with school management functions. This qualitative evaluative research employed the CIPP model and involved 21 purposively selected participants, including the principal, six teachers, two staff members, and twelve students. Data were gathered through structured interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis followed Miles and Huberman's qualitative technique, ensuring triangulation for validity. The context evaluation revealed that the 5S program aligns well with the school’s vision and mission, emphasizing the development of character traits. Input evaluation showed strong stakeholder involvement, though limited funding and infrastructure constrained implementation. Process evaluation indicated inconsistency in teacher role modeling and selective student engagement. Product evaluation showed positive behavioral changes in students, but the outcomes were inconsistent and not yet optimal. The findings highlight the crucial role of consistent teacher behavior in influencing student participation and program effectiveness. The integration of the CIPP model with school management phases provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating non-academic programs. This research contributes theoretically to character education implementation and offers practical recommendations for strengthening school-based cultural programs.
