Abstract

Wall chart media based on local potential are designed by reviewing the aspect of setting proportions and color schemes in the form of schemes, pictures, and charts and their placement on classroom walls and whiteboards using local potential. This research is a Research and Development that aims to develop a wall chart media based on local potential that is valid, practical and effective. This study adapts the development model of Robert Maribe Branch (2009) which consists of several stages namely analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. The target of this study was the 22 students of class X MIPA 1 SMAN 13 Wajo. The research instrument used was a questionnaire to measure practicality and items to measure effectiveness. The results showed that the wall chart media based on local potential was developed on mushroom material had a validity value of 3.54 with a very valid category, the level of practicality showed a very practical category with a total value of 3.52. While the level of effectiveness shows the category is very effective because it reaches 100% completeness value. The implications of this research are: 1) Wall chart media can be used as a media to support learning; 2) Wall chart media is feasible to be applied as a learning medium that can increase activity; and 3) Wall chart media can be implemented in other schools with various biological materials.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) learning approach on student learning outcomes in the digestive system material for eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 23 Makassar. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 341 eighth grade students, with a sample of 76 students selected purposively and divided into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered at the pre-test and post-test stages to measure improvements in student understanding. In addition, documentation was used to reinforce the research findings. Data analysis was performed using prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests) and the Independent Samples T-Test using statistical software. The results showed that the average learning score of students in the experimental class was 84.13, while in the control class it was 81.76. Hypothesis testing showed a significant difference between the two groups (Sig. < α = 0.001). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the ATI approach is effective in improving student learning outcomes in digestive system material

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Stimulation, Investigation, Review, and Inference (SIRI) learning model on students creative thinking skills in the excretory system topic for Grade XI students at SMAN 21 Gowa. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of 104 grade XI students, with a sample of 70 students selected purposively. The data collection method used non-tests (observation) and tests. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The average creative thinking skills score of students in the experimental class was 79.5, while in the control class it was 76.42. The analysis revealed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students taught using the SIRI learning model and those taught without it (Sig. < α = 0.001). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the SIRI learning model is effective in improving creative thinking skills students in the excretory system topic.

Abstract

Education plays a role in the quality of life; therefore, education must create enjoyable learning. A good learning mode is really needed to support active, effective, creative innovative and fun learning. The PAIKEM model is a learning model that reduces unpleasant learning to become enjoyable. The research aims to determine the affective of applying the PAIKEM model combined with mind map media on excretory system material on the learning outcomes of class XI MIA students at SMAN 1 Lambu, BIMA regency. The research population was class XI MIA at SMAN I Lambu, totaling 90 people. The sample consisted of 62 students, using purposive sampling. The instrument used were learning outcomes tests, observation and interviews. The analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis research, a sig of 0,000 was obtained, indicating that sig a = 0,000 < 0,05, so that H 0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The results show that there is a significant influence from the application of the PAIKEM model combined with mind map media in the excretion system material on the learning outcomes of class XI MIA students at SMAN 1 Lambu, Bima Regency. The implication of this research is that the PAIKEM model can be applied to increase creative, innovative and enjoyable learning.

Abstract

The Adiwiyata program is a program prepared by the government in the world of education and creates responsible school citizens in environmental management efforts. SMA Negeri 10 Bulukumba is a school that has implemented the Adiwiyata program. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the implementation of curriculum policies related to the concept of adiwiyata in physical learning 2) To determine the implementation of teachers in the integrated physics learning process the concept of adiwiyata. 3)To find out the behavior of students in learning physics with the integration of the concept of adiwiyat. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with ethnographic method. Collecting data using interviews, observation documentation, triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this study was done by analyzing domain and taxonomy results showed that the Adiwiyata curriculum policy in physics learning refers to educational programs, such as graduation competency standards, content standards, process standards, educators and education personnel standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, management standards, education financing standards, educational assessment standards. The implementation of physics subjects with environmentalinsight is integrated into physics subjects through learning activities in the classroomis seen by solving environmental problems using the concept of physicsand outside the classroom is carried out by utilizing the school environment as a physics learning laboratory. But not all physical materials can be integrated with the environment but only certain materials. Student behavior in Adiwiyata learning is seen from student learning to have an attitude of caring for the environment and changing student habits by instilling character values to protect the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbandingan model SIRI (Stimulation, Investigation, Review, and Inference) dan GI (Group Investigation) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik materi sistem pencernaan kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto. Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen semu (quasy eksperimental) menggunakan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI berjumlah 332 peserta didik. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 40 peserta didik dan dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 (XI C) dan kelas eksperimen 2 (XI D), menggunakan teknik multi stage random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa 30 butir soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata skor hasil belajar 88,30 pada kelas eksperimen 1 dan 72,05 pada kelas eksperimen 2. Analisis statistik inferensial diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000, menunjukan bahwa sig. α = 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari model pembelajaran SIRI dan GI terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik materi sistem pencernaan kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a mangrove plant morphology atlas based on the local potential of the Puntondo Takalar Center for Environmental Education (PPLH Puntondo Takalar) as a supplementary teaching material for the Grade 10 high school Plantae topic that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects comprised 26 Grade 10 students and one biology teacher in a limited trial conducted at a senior high school in Takalar Regency. Data were collected through observation, interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation sheets, response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the developed atlas included nine mangrove species identified through field observations, presented systematically based on morphological characteristics and distribution locations. The atlas was supplemented with field photographs, identification keys, distribution maps, and observation tasks that support environment-based learning and scientific literacy. Expert validation results yielded an average score of 3.6, categorized as highly valid. The practicality test indicated a positive response rate of 92% from both the teacher and students, categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness test showed that classical learning mastery reached 100%, with all students achieving scores above the minimum mastery criterion (KKM). Therefore, this mangrove plant morphology atlas based on local potential is feasible for use as a supplementary teaching material and has the potential to support contextual biology learning while enhancing students’ biodiversity literacy.
