Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berjudul Penguatan Literasi dan Kepatuhan Pajak UMKM melalui Pelatihan Berbasis Praktik sesuai Kebijakan Fiskal Terbaru Tahun 2025 bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi perpajakan dan kepatuhan pajak bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kabupaten Bekasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan partisipatif yang melibatkan sepuluh peserta UMKM, satu dosen ketua, satu dosen anggota, dan satu mahasiswa pendamping. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian konsep, simulasi perhitungan, serta praktik pelaporan pajak melalui aplikasi digital seperti e-Billing, e-Filing, dan LAMIKRO. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 34% terhadap penghitungan pajak final, serta perubahan perilaku administratif menuju pelaporan pajak mandiri. Kegiatan ini juga memunculkan kesadaran sosial baru terhadap pentingnya kepatuhan pajak dan munculnya pemimpin lokal (local leader) sebagai penggerak komunitas. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik efektif dalam membangun kesadaran fiskal dan transformasi digital bagi pelaku UMKM.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat berjudul Penguatan Literasi Akuntansi Digital UMKM melalui Program Migrasi Pencatatan Keuangan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan kemampuan digital pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terstruktur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas yang terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu asesmen, pelatihan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan akuntansi dan digitalisasi pencatatan sebesar 40% setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Peserta mampu mencatat transaksi secara lebih akurat, memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usaha, serta menyusun laporan keuangan digital sederhana. Secara sosial, kegiatan ini mendorong perubahan perilaku keuangan menuju transparansi dan akuntabilitas, serta terbentuknya komunitas belajar digital di kalangan UMKM. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendampingan bertahap dengan metode praktik langsung efektif dalam mendukung transformasi digital dan memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha UMKM di era ekonomi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to identify which AI tools Indonesian graduate students use for academic writing and how aware they are of AI's use in their writing. A survey was administered to 79 graduate students to collect data for this study. The results indicate that ChatGPT is the most frequently utilized AI model, alongside various others that help improve students’ English writing and comprehension skills. The participants also demonstrated an understanding of the necessity of engaging with AI-generated writing for their academic needs and acknowledged the importance of maintaining research ethics when employing these tools. In summary, students are effectively using AI chatbots, especially ChatGPT, to support their academic writing. Their significant awareness of AI's role suggests they recognize that human contribution is still crucial in the writing process. The results of this study provide valuable insights into the AI tools that enhance academic writing among graduate students in Indonesia. It also presents the level of graduate students’ awareness of the position of AI tools in academic writing. Thus, it is advisable to reassess research ethics regarding the extent to which generative AI models can be incorporated into academic writing. Given its educational implications, universities should develop guidelines for the ethical and appropriate use of AI and clarify AI support limitations within their educational frameworks.

Abstract

The rise of student bullying in schools has attracted public attention due to its devastating impact, particularly on victims. Traumatic experiences can be expressed through creative writing to explore emotions and support mental health recovery. In response to the need to raise awareness of the severe impact of trauma on both victims and perpetrators of bullying, the Community Service (PkM) team from the English Language and Literature Study Program at UPI conducted a “Writing for Healing” training for teachers affiliated with the Bali Teacher Movement Center. This activity consisted of five sessions, including material presentations, creative writing practice, and reflections on creative writing experiences to support mental recovery. The training received a positive response from participants, as evidenced by high engagement and the quality of the written products. Several participants also expressed their intention to publish their work. Thus, this training has created a pathway to address bullying and can be used by teachers in schools. It is hoped that this activity will help teachers address bullying cases while also raising awareness of its impacts and alternative solutions.   Abstrak Maraknya perundungan murid di sekolah menjadi perhatian masyarakat karena berdampak buruk, khususnya bagi korban perundungan. Pengalaman traumatis dapat dicurahkan dalam tulisan kreatif sebagai sarana mengeksplorasi perasaan dan menjadi alat pemulihan kesehatan mental. Berkaitan dengan perlunya kesadaran akan dampak buruk trauma yang dialami korban dan pelaku remaja yang terlibat perundungan, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Prodi Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris UPI menyelenggarakan pelatihan “Writing for Healing” untuk para guru yang bergabung dengan Balai Guru Penggerak Bali. Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebanyak lima kali pertemuan yang terdiri dari pemaparan materi, praktik menulis kreatif, dan refleksi pengalaman menulis kreatif untuk pemulihan mental. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya respons positif dari peserta dalam bentuk tingkat partisipasi yang baik dan kualitas produk tulisan yang dibuat. Beberapa peserta juga berniat untuk mempublikasikan karya tulis mereka. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini telah membuka salah satu jalan dalam upaya penanganan perundungan dan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para guru di sekolah. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu para guru untuk dapat memberikan penanganan terhadap kasus perundungan, sekaligus meningkatkan kesadaran akan dampak perundungan dan alternatif penyelesaiannya. Abstract

Developing speaking skills remains a significant challenge for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in higher education. While Project-Based Learning (PBL) has been recognized as an effective student-centered approach, limited studies have explored the integration of presentation, storytelling, and debate activities within a single project framework to enhance speaking proficiency. This study aims to investigate the implementation of PBL and examine its contribution to students’ speaking development. A qualitative case study design was employed involving EFL students enrolled in speaking courses at a higher education institution. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, recall interviews, speaking performance assessments, and document analysis. The findings reveal that PBL was implemented through five stages: project planning, collaborative inquiry, project development, oral performance implementation, and reflection. The integration of presentation, storytelling, and debate activities improved students’ fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary mastery, grammatical accuracy, and communicative competence. Furthermore, students reported increased confidence, motivation, classroom participation, and willingness to communicate, while experiencing lower levels of speaking anxiety. These findings suggest that PBL provides authentic learning experiences that effectively support speaking development and foster positive learner engagement in EFL contexts.
