Abstract

The increase in the volume of public complaints in urban areas requires an accurate and explainable decision support system. This study developed an Explainable Decision Support System (xDSS) based on the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm combined with the SHapley Additive Explanations (SHAP) method to predict spatial and temporal trends in public complaints in DKI Jakarta Province. The research data was obtained from the Satu-Data Jakarta portal and included multi-year complaint reports that were processed through aggregation, temporal feature engineering, and regression-based metric evaluation. The results show that the XGBoost model has high predictive performance with an R² value of 0.8425, MAE of 2.9858, and RMSE of 4.9928, indicating the model’s ability to explain more than 84% of the variation in the actual number of complaints. SHAP analysis revealed that temporal features such as complaint_lag1 and complaint_ma3 had the most dominant influence, while external variables such as rainfall (rainfall_mm) and population density (population_density) also made positive contributions. These results indicate that the dynamics of public complaints are influenced by a combination of historical factors and environmental conditions. Practically, this xDSS system can provide accurate predictions and transparent interpretations, thereby supporting the implementation of Smart Governance and evidence-based policy. This approach strengthens the application of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) in public service governance by providing accurate, ethical, and auditable models to support strategic decision-making in the era of digital government.

Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has created new opportunities for delivering cultural information through interactive and accessible digital platforms. However, many cultural education applications still lack adequate attention to usability and user experience aspects. This study aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based Indonesian cultural heritage exploration application using the Design Thinking approach to provide an informative, engaging, and personalized learning experience. The research method follows the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing. The design process begins with user needs analysis, followed by the development of information architecture, user flow, wireframes, and a high-fidelity prototype. Usability evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 10 respondents. The usability testing results show an average SUS score of 76.5, which falls into the “Good” category and corresponds to grade B, indicating that the application demonstrates a satisfactory level of usability and effectiveness. Therefore, the proposed UI/UX design is considered effective in supporting interactive and personalized cultural exploration activities. This study is expected to serve as a reference for future development of digital cultural education applications that adopt a user-centered design approach integrated with AI technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer support and students' self-confidence in elementary school floor gymnastics lessons. The research used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population was 150 students in grades 5 and 6. The sampling technique used total sampling. The instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire measuring peer support (15 items) and self-confidence (12 items). Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis with the categorization of Ideal Mean (MI) and Ideal Standard Deviation (SDI), prerequisite tests (normality and linearity), and hypothesis testing using Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed that peer support level was in the high category for 75% of students and moderate for 25%. Self-confidence level was in the high category for 69% and moderate for 31%. There was a significant and positive relationship between peer support and student self-confidence, with a correlation coefficient of 0.557 and significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.311 indicates that peer support contributes 31.1% to students' self-confidence, while the remaining 68.9% is influenced by other factors not studied. The conclusion is that higher peer support leads to higher student self-confidence in floor gymnastics learning.
