Abstract

Teachers still use traditional teaching methods, so students' mathematical problem-solving abilities must improve. Because the anticipated model lends itself to improving students' math problem-solving abilities, the authors of this study applied the Realistic Mathematic Education model. This study aims to ascertain how the Realistic Mathematics Education Model affects students' aptitude for solving mathematical problems. Quasi-experimentation is an adopted research approach. Nonequivalent Control Group Design is the format adopted for design. The participants of this study were all fourth-grade students of SDN Cipadu 1 Tangerang City for the 2022–2023 year. The research uses a saturation sampling strategy. Sixty-one students were included in the sample for this investigation. This study uses verified and considered reliable tools in the form of tests. The aim is to determine how students' ability to solve math problems affects data; the SPSS 22.0 program is used for analysis. The results showed that the significance of the t-test was 0.000, indicating that the Realistic Mathematics education paradigm significantly impacted students' mathematical problem-solving ability.

Abstract

Learning mathematics has a very important role in forming the attitudes and mindsets of students and solving problems independently. The problems faced at this time are that students have low mathematics learning outcomes and students feel the material they are learning is difficult, and the way of learning in learning mathematics is less effective. The teacher is still the center of the learning and teaching process of mathematics. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of Kahoot learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at MI Unwanul Huda. The Kahoot application media is interactive and interesting, so students don't feel bored and bored in learning. This application is a game in the form of a test. The method used in this study is a quantitative experimental method in the form of a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design. Sampling was done by the saturated sampling technique. The sample of this study consisted of a class, namely class V, which consisted of 28 students. The data collection technique used is the test. The results of the hypothesis test used the t-test with parametric statistics. It is known that the average post-test of student learning outcomes using Kahoot learning media is 65.00 and the average pre-test of student learning outcomes is 37.14. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on the mathematics learning outcomes of students who use Kahoot learning media.

Abstract

Background. Self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety are like two linked currencies, when a student's level of self-efficacy is high, mathematics anxiety is low and vice versa, this condition is related when learning mathematics. Purpose This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This research method uses a survey method, the population is all elementary school students in class VI in Ciwandan District which consists of 4 clusters and a sample of 100 students is taken with a sampling technique using multistage random sampling and for research instruments in the form of questionnaires and tests. The research results show that the results of the first hypothesis show that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and students' mathematical reasoning abilities with a moderate degree of correlation and a positive relationship. The second hypothesis is that there is a relationship between mathematics anxiety and students' mathematical reasoning abilities, which has a moderate degree of correlation and a negative relationship. The third hypothesis is that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and mathematics anxiety on students' mathematical reasoning abilities with a strong relationship in a positive direction, while the coefficient of determination is 0.386, meaning that the contribution of mathematical reasoning abilities is 38.6%, which can be predicted based on self-efficacy and mathematics. anxiety, while the remaining 61.4% can be predicted from other factors.   Latar Belakang. Self-efficacy dan mathematics anxiety bagaikan dua mata uang yang saling berikatan, ketika tingkat self-efficacy siswa tinggi maka mathematics anxiety rendah begitupula sebaliknya, kodisi ini berhubungan ketika mempelajari matematika. Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self-efficacy dan mathematics anxiety terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, populasinya, yaitu seluruh siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas VI di Kecamatan Ciwandan yang terdiri dari 4 gugus dan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 100 siswa dengan teknik sampling menggunakan multistage random sampling dan untuk istrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan tes. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan hasil hipotesis pertama diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan antara self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan derajat hubungan korelasi sedang dan bentuk hubungan yang positif. Hipotesis kedua diperoleh bahwa terdapat terdapat hubungan antara mathematics anxiety terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa mempunyai derajat hubungan korelasi sedang dan bentuk hubungan yang negatif. Hipotesis ketiga diperoleh bahwa terdapat hubungan antara self-efficacy dan mathematics anxiety terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan derajat hubungan kuat dengan arah positif, sedangkan nilai koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 0,386 artinya kontribusi kemampuan penalaran matematis 38,6% dapat diprediksi berdasarkan self-efficacy dan mathematics anxiety, sedangkan sisanya yaitu 61,4 % dapat diprediksi dari faktor yang lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difficulty of learning algebraic calculation operations based on newman's error type in Bekasi City. This research is a qualitative research involving grade VIII students of Bekasi City. Researchers tried to collect information to analyze the difficulty of learning mathematics on the material of algebraic form calculation operations using the concept of Newman theory. Researchers only took 3 subjects to be the subject of research. At this stage, researchers use research instruments in the form of written tests that contain description questions and algebraic form calculation operations. Data collection by researchers using tests and interviews. The use of qualitative method techniques in analyzing research data shows that there are several factors based on the type of newman error so that they make mistakes doing questions such as, 1) students' answers are considered less thorough, 2) students find it difficult to understand the subject matter of the questions so that students cannot get important information from the questions, 3) students' inability to change story problems into mathematical forms also causes a Students make mistakes in answering questions, 4) students lack understanding of the concept of algebraic material. There are 3 types of difficulties experienced by these students, namely Difficulty in understanding concepts, Difficulty in Solving Verbal Problems, and Difficulty in understanding principles. While there are 5 types of newman type errors, namely, Reading Errors, Wrong Comprehension, Wrong Transformations, Wrong Skill Processes, Drawing Wrong Conclusions.

Abstract

Constructivism learning theory is very relevant to be applied in Indonesia because it has advantages that can be used as an innovative learning method. However, the constructivism learning model is still rarely applied, especially in mathematics learning so that the learning objectives are not achieved properly. This research was conducted to obtain comprehensive information on how constructivism theory is used in online mathematics learning and the obstacles faced. This can be useful to find out good new adaptations in implementing online mathematics learning in the future. In addition, it can be useful as an evaluation material for the application of constructivism theory in online mathematics learning in the future. This research uses descriptive analysis method with literature study technique. The constructivism theory referred to in this study is a constructivist learning theory that has been explored in the application of online mathematics learning into four parts, namely: a learner-centered learning environment, a knowledge-centered learning environment, an assessment-centered learning environment, and an assessment-centered learning environment. community-centred learning.   Teori pembelajaran konstruktivisme sangat relevan untuk diterapkan di Indonesia karena memiliki kelebihan yang dapat dijadikan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif. Namun model pembelajaran konstruktivisme masih jarang diterapkan khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi yang komprehensif tentang bagaimana teori konstruktivisme digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika online dan kendala yang dihadapi. Hal ini dapat bermanfaat untuk mengetahui adaptasi baru yang baik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika online di masa depan. Selain itu dapat bermanfaat sebagai bahan evaluasi penerapan teori konstruktivisme dalam pembelajaran matematika online di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik studi literatur. Teori konstruktivisme yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini merupakan teori pembelajaran konstruktivis yang dieksplorasi dalam penerapan pembelajaran matematika online menjadi empat bagian, yaitu: lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada peserta didik, lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada pengetahuan, lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada penilaian. , dan lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada penilaian. pembelajaran yang berpusat pada komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach using concrete media, specifically the Snakes and Ladders game, on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the topic of multiples and factors of whole numbers at SDN Baru 06. The research employed a quasi-experimental method involving two groups: an experimental group using the Snakes and Ladders game and a control group using traditional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and then analyzed using normality tests, linear regression, T-tests, and F-tests. The results showed that the CTL approach with the Snakes and Ladders game significantly improved students' learning outcomes compared to traditional methods. The average score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, with statistical analysis indicating a significant impact between the scores and the students' grades. This study suggests that the use of CTL with concrete media can make mathematics learning more engaging and effective, helping students better understand the material and relate knowledge to real life.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) dan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika saat ini. Tujuan riset ini mengetahui seberapa jauh kemampuan guru matematika dalam memanfaatkan AR dan AI dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru-guru matematika yang telah menggunakan AR dan AI dalam proses pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena dapat memberikan gambaran dan deskripsi yang lengkap. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan deskripstif kualitatif yang membantu peneliti memberikan penguatan atas temuan yang di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa AI dan AR sangat membantu guru dalam pembelajaran matematika yang lebih berkualitas. Tantangan terbesar pembelajaran matematika berbasis AI dan AR yaitu proses penyiapan pembelajaran yang sangat membutuhkan waktu tetapi disisi lain, kegiatan persiapan pembelajaran yang sangat membutuhkan waktu, tenaga, dan modal yang tidak sedikit masih belum diperhitungkan sebagai beban kinerja guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to look at research trends and the distribution of research on the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model. The research method used is a bibliometric analysis method using the Publish or Perish and Vos Viewer applications. The number of publications on the Missouri Mathematics Project Learning Model was 177 articles from 2012 – 2022. There was a constant number of publications between 2014 – 2017 and a significant increase in 2018. Then the number of publications decreased in 2021 and 2022. Visualization results from the application Vos Viewer shows there are two clusters and each cluster has four variables each. The dominant variable is the Missouri Mathematics Project variable. This indicates that the Missouri Mathematics Project learning model has been extensively researched. Variables that are rarely researched are variables about effectiveness and study. For the next researcher, you can include the effectiveness or study variable as a research variable.
