Abstract

This study addresses the growing issue of excessive gadget use by framing behavior modification within the principles of Islamic child-rearing (Tarbiyah al-Awlad). The primary aim was to reduce gadget dependency and screaming behavior in a preschooler by applying an intervention model that is spiritually meaningful for Muslim families. This research employed a single-subject (AB design) experimental approach with a 4-year-old male participant. The intervention was adapted to align with Islamic values: the token economy was transformed into a "Good Deed Star" (Bintang Kebaikan) system to reinforce patience (sabr), and time-out was reframed as a "Reflection Time" (Waktu Muhasabah) to encourage self-control. Data, collected via parental observation logs, showed a significant reduction in daily gadget use from an average of 108.6 minutes during baseline to 47.8 minutes during intervention. The conclusion is that integrating behavioral techniques within an Islamic Tarbiyah framework is highly effective. This study implies that such a model not only modifies behavior but also provides parents with a practical, faith-aligned tool for cultivating positive character (akhlak) in the digital age.

Abstract

Through an integrated curriculum, it is expected that the fulfillment of a maximum standard of learning for students' problems while learning, the integrated curriculum will determine the content, processes, materials, and learning materials that teachers do to students in the classroom. Students who have problems are expected to be able to overcome the problem both those who lack achievement and are left behind, the evaluation carried out is also expected to be able to measure the ability of students to improve learning that has been done, besides it can be compared between one school to another with an evaluation. So we need a standard-based approach and an integrated curriculum, the second offers several strategies in developing an integrated curriculum that has been proven in its implementation, thirdly to validate an integrated curriculum by offering examples of integrated curricula that have proven to be successful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran guru TPQ dalam mengatasi hambatan membaca dan menulis huruf hijaiyah pada anak usia dini di TK Muslimat NU 200 Kureksari. Sebanyak 12 anak usia 5–6 tahun, satu guru TPQ, dan kepala sekolah dilibatkan sebagai subjek penelitian. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa anak mengalami beberapa kesulitan utama, yaitu hambatan membedakan huruf yang memiliki bentuk serupa, kesalahan makhraj, koordinasi motorik halus yang belum optimal, rendahnya konsentrasi, serta kurangnya stimulus belajar dari lingkungan keluarga. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, guru menjalankan empat peran strategis: sebagai fasilitator dengan menyediakan media multisensori; sebagai pembimbing teknis melalui demonstrasi pelafalan dan latihan menulis bertahap; sebagai motivator melalui penguatan positif dan model emosi yang stabil; serta sebagai role model dalam sikap, intonasi tilawah, dan kerapian tulisan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan pengalaman pendidik dalam menumbuhkan konsep zona privasi pada anak usia dini, serta menentukan pendekatan, unsur pendukung, dan hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran tersebut di kelompok B1 TK Muslimat NU 200 Kureksari Sidoarjo. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi Colaizzi, penelitian ini menggali makna subjektif pengalaman guru melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mengintegrasikan pendidikan zona privasi melalui strategi pembelajaran konkret seperti lagu, cerita, diskusi, simulasi menolak sentuhan, serta pembiasaan perilaku melalui aturan kelas. Strategi tersebut disesuaikan dengan tahap perkembangan anak sehingga membantu mereka mengenali bagian tubuh pribadi, membedakan sentuhan aman dan tidak aman, serta mengembangkan personal safety skills (recognize-resist-report). Faktor pendukung pembelajaran meliputi keberadaan SOP perlindungan anak, lingkungan belajar yang ramah anak, serta komunikasi dua arah antara guru dan orang tua. Adapun faktor penghambat mencakup persepsi sebagian orang tua yang menganggap materi ini tabu, keterbatasan media edukatif, serta perilaku anak yang masih belum stabil dalam menjaga batas bagian tubuh. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi ilmiah dengan menghadirkan perspektif fenomenologis dalam kajian pendidikan seks usia dini.

Abstract

This study investigates preventive deradicalization efforts in lower-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through the internalization of religious moderation values in Quran-Hadith and Aqidah-Akhlak subjects. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research subjects were selected purposively, and data were gathered via in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The analysis followed Miles, Huberman, and Saldana's interactive model, involving data condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through credibility tests and triangulation. The findings indicate that nationalistic values were instilled in students through value transformation by teachers, value transaction in flag ceremonies, and transinternalization, where students memorized the national anthem and Pancasila principles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the role of drumband extracurricular activities in developing motor and cognitive abilities of early childhood at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 50 Kindergarten, Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires involving teachers, parents, and students as research subjects. The results show that drumband activities provide a positive contribution to the development of gross and fine motor skills of children, especially through rhythmic movement exercises, hand-eye coordination, and body control when playing musical instruments. In addition to motor aspects, drumband activities also play a role in improving children's cognitive abilities, such as concentration, memory, the ability to follow instructions, and understanding musical patterns and rhythms. Children's active participation in drumband activities also helps shape discipline, the ability to work together in groups, and increases children's self-confidence. Thus, drumband extracurricular activities can be used as an effective and enjoyable learning medium to support the motor and cognitive development of early childhood holistically and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to improve early childhood learning activities by utilizing vacant land as a nature center at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 50 Kindergarten, Surabaya. The underlying problem is the lack of variety in early childhood learning, which tends to be limited to the classroom and the suboptimal use of the surrounding environment as a learning resource. This study used a qualitative approach with the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 15 children in Group B, characterized by active learning but limited focus on learning and environmental exploration. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed that children's learning activities increased significantly after the implementation of nature-center-based learning. Children became more active, enthusiastic, and were able to interact better with their environment and peers. Activities such as planting, watering, observing insects, and maintaining garden cleanliness provided meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences. In addition, the utilization of vacant land was an effective solution in creating a contextual and child-friendly learning atmosphere. The environment around the school was optimally utilized as a learning medium appropriate to the development of early childhood. This study concluded that the nature center significantly contributed to increasing children's learning activities. Therefore, this nature-based learning model can be recommended as an innovation in early childhood learning for other educational units.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic behavior modification strategies through reward implementation on improving children's discipline in early spiritual activities at TK Unggulan An-Nur Surabaya. A quantitative approach was used with the Equivalent Time Sample Design involving 13 children aged 5–6 years. Observations were conducted over three weeks using indicators such as punctuality, attentiveness in prayer sessions, neat sitting, and memorization of short surahs and prayers. The results showed an increase in discipline scores during the first and second weeks when rewards were given, but a decline in the third week when rewards were withheld. These findings indicate that Islamic behavior modification strategies through rewards significantly improve young children’s discipline. Additionally, the effectiveness of the strategy depends on each child’s characteristics and the consistency of reward implementation. The findings support Skinner's reinforcement theory, asserting that positive behavior can be cultivated through proper reinforcement, particularly within the context of Islamic early childhood education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan sosialisasi imunisasi kejar dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat RW 01 Kelurahan Ampel, Surabaya. Latar belakang studi ini adalah adanya resistensi sebagian warga terhadap program imunisasi yang disebabkan oleh faktor keyakinan agama dan budaya, serta penyebaran informasi yang keliru terkait kehalalan dan kodrat ketuhanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan warga, tokoh agama, kader kesehatan, serta studi dokumentasi dari laporan kegiatan dan data cakupan imunisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan sosialisasi yang berbasis budaya dan agama, seperti pelibatan tokoh agama, penyampaian informasi keagamaan oleh ahli kesehatan Muslim, serta edukasi dari pintu ke pintu, mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerimaan warga terhadap imunisasi. Dalam tiga bulan pelaksanaan program, cakupan imunisasi meningkat dan terjadi penurunan kasus campak baru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi antara petugas kesehatan dan tokoh agama lokal merupakan strategi efektif dalam menghadapi resistensi masyarakat terhadap imunisasi di wilayah multikultural. Sosialisasi yang bersifat kontekstual dan berkelanjutan sangat dianjurkan dalam membangun kesadaran kesehatan masyarakat.
