ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the free lunch policy in vocational high schools in Indonesia using a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis approach. The research method used is library research, with data collection and analysis from various secondary sources. The results of the analysis show that the free lunch program has the power to improve student health, provide access to nutritious food, and increase academic achievement. However, the weaknesses are budget limitations, logistical challenges, and increased administrative burdens on schools. Opportunities that can be utilized include support from local communities, nutrition awareness campaigns, and curriculum integration with health education programs. Threats that must be anticipated include food price instability, an increase in plastic waste, and food safety problems. This research provides in-depth insight into the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing free lunch policies in vocational high schools. These findings open up future research opportunities to evaluate program implementation over a long period of time.

Abstract

Learning using E-Learning has recently become part of education in Indonesia, however its implementation needs to be evaluated so that it meets standards. So, this research aims to start implementing Online exams using Padang State University E-Learning. This research is evaluation research using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) approach. The research subjects were 30 students taking measurement and instrument lectures in the electrical engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The data was analyzed for the average value of the questionnaire which was classified and explained for each aspect of the evaluation. The research results that describe the implementation of Online exams with E-Learning at Padang State University are quite good, with average scores reflecting adequate quality. Context evaluation indicates the user's skill level and sufficient means available, although graphics and E-Learning content require further attention. Evaluation input shows good improvements in user capabilities and availability of E-Learning access facilities. The evaluation highlights the good process of using E-Learning applications, despite challenges in implementing assessments through the platform. Product evaluation shows that the quality and benefits of E-Learning are quite good. In conclusion, although the implementation of Online exams has provided positive benefits, there are still aspects that can be improved, such as the security of Online exams and more authentic evaluation methods. These findings provide valuable insight for further development in facing the dynamics of educational technology that continues to develop. The findings of this research open up opportunities for further exploration in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in conducting Online exams.

Abstract

Background: Teachers in vocational schools play an essential role in integrating renewable energy education into the curriculum, but limited tools and knowledge in assembling solar panels hinder practical learning. The program aims to provide teachers with practical knowledge and skills in assembling solar panels. Method: This activity was attended by productive teachers of SMK in the field of expertise in Electrical Power Installation Engineering throughout the province of West Sumatra. Activities are carried out in 4 stages, Preparation, Implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Follow-up. Written tests and practical tests are conducted to find out the extent of the teacher's ability to use solar panel trainers. Result: The result of this program is an increase in knowledge and skills, teachers in solar panel assembly. This program contributes to trained teachers, to provide an interactive and interesting learning approach for students in the use of renewable energy. Conclusion: This training program not only meets the needs of education in facing the development of renewable energy technology, but also makes a real contribution in creating human resources who are ready to work in the renewable energy sector.

Abstract

TheĀ development of technology in the industrial sector has experienced very rapid and advanced development at this time. In the production process in the industry, especially the sorting process, optimization is needed both from the performance and the results of the performance so that high work efficiency and maximum results can be obtained. So a goods sorting tool with a barcode system is needed as a tool that can sort goods automatically which is equipped with a barcode system to obtain information about the goods to be sorted so that it can make it easier for users to arrange goods according to what is desired. This goods sorting tool is equipped with a conveyor to move goods to the sorting place. This goods sorting tool method uses a barcode sensor that functions to detect the qr code on the goods, a weight sensor (loadcell) that functions to measure the weight of the goods, and an infrared sensor to detect the presence or absence of goods on the distribution line. After testing and analyzing the goods sorting tool with an Arduino Uno-based barcode system on the goods sorting system, the conclusion is that the goods sorting tool works well and the results achieved are in accordance with the function and work of the tool.

Abstract

RFID enables fast and accurate user identification via radio waves, while ESP32-CAM, an ESP32 microcontroller-based camera module, adds a layer of security through visual verification. Optimizing the attendance process by reducing the time required for attendance recording, thereby reducing disruption to daily activities. The RFID and ESP32Cam Attendance System Based on the Internet off things "is by attaching the RFID card in front of the RFID reader. The RFID reader will read the unique ID contained in the card. The ESP32-CAM connected to the RFID reader will receive data from the RFID card. The ESP32-CAM will process this information and record the employee's entry or exit time. The ESP32-CAM will use an internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) to send employee attendance data to Google Sheet as a storage for attendance data, such as: (employee ID, entry/exit time, and date) This allows overall attendance data management. Based on the results of the tests and discussions carried out, the tool that was made has been successfully tested and works well. From the tests that have been carried out, in order for the card to be read properly, the maximum distance of the card from the sensor is 3cm. The process of sending data to Spreadsheet takes an average of 4 seconds. The speed of sending also depends on the speed of internet access. Esp32 CAM works well in sending photos to Google Drive The author hopes that this tool can be developed further by using the website and adding fingerprint sensors and Face detection
