Abstract

One of the obstacles in the business sector in Indonesia is corruption. Efforts to eradicate corruption are carried out through education, prevention and prosecution strategies or known as the TRISULA strategy. One of the corruption prevention efforts carried out by the KPK is through the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) with eight areas. This study aims to analyze the relationship between prevention and complaints and regional corruption cases. This study uses secondary data. Secondary data consists of the Regional Corruption Prevention Index, complaints, and regional corruption cases handled by the KPK in 34 provinces in Indonesia, 2018 – 2022. Primary data was obtained through a survey with purposive sampling in 22 local governments. Data were analyzed using regression analysis with e-VIEWS software. The results of the study show that the areas of prevention that have an influence on corruption complaints are planning and budgeting, procurement of goods and services, supervision of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP), and management of regional property. The prevention area that has an influence on corruption cases is the procurement of goods and services.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze behavioral patterns and experiences of purchasing multivitamins after the COVID-19 pandemic and analyze the level of consumer knowledge regarding multivitamins. The research results show that there has been a decrease in the consumption and purchase of multivitamins after the Covid-19 pandemic. However, respondents are still accustomed to taking multivitamins from the last year until now. Many respondents buy multivitamins through pharmacies and e-commerce. Sources of information about multivitamins are mostly obtained from professionals and friends/relatives. Instagram and TikTok are social media that are sources of information search. The availability of information and packaging labels was considered by respondents to be very important when purchasing multivitamins. Most respondents trust and are satisfied with the multivitamins they have purchased and intend to purchase again. The level of knowledge of respondents regarding multivitamins is good. It needs to be explained that multivitamins are not a type of medicine that can cure disease and cannot be consumed long-term.

Abstract

Palm oil is one of the most efficient and widely consumed vegetable oils globally, but its expansion has been linked to tropical deforestation, biodiversity loss, and land use change. As global environmental concerns intensify, scholarly interest in the palm oil-deforestation nexus has grown rapidly. This study offers an updated science mapping analysis of global research on this topic until 10 July 2025. Drawing on 1,622 peer-reviewed articles retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science, we applied bibliometric analysis and science mapping to examine publication trends, thematic structures, collaboration networks, and the intellectual foundations of the field. Findings reveal a sharp increase in research output since the early 2000s, with Environmental Research Letters, Land Use Policy, and PLoS One emerging as the most relevant sources. The most prolific authors and institutions are primarily based in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia, with the University of Göttingen and Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University) playing central roles. Indonesia now leads in single-country publications, reflecting its growing research capacity and strategic importance in the global palm oil landscape. The existing literature is predominantly framed through ecological and technical lenses, focusing on biodiversity, emissions, and sustainability certification. Keyword and co-citation analyses show emerging themes such as ‘spatial analysis’, ‘machine learning’, and expanding regional focus beyond Southeast Asia. However, critical gaps remain, particularly around social justice, land rights, and indigenous knowledge. This study highlights the need for more inclusive and interdisciplinary research approaches that foreground power dynamics, local voices, and alternative knowledge systems. Additionally, as a major producer and increasingly active research contributor, Indonesia holds strong potential to be a focus in future research agendas. The study provides a strategic foundation for researchers, funders, and policymakers engaged in sustainability and land-use governance.

Abstract

Chili commodity production has been rising and falling over the years. In contrast, prices for chili experience extreme variability. A price fluctuation of more than 40% indicates that something is wrong with supply management. Chili price volatility poses significant challenges for food security and inflation control in Indonesia. This study investigates the factors influencing cayenne pepper prices using daily data from January 2023 to September 2024 at the Kramat Jati Wholesale Market. An Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model was applied to estimate the dynamic relationship between prices and supplies of cayenne and curly red chili. The results indicate that previous prices, substitution effects with curly red chili, and supply shocks have a significant influence on cayenne pepper prices. These findings underscore the importance of real-time supply monitoring, market integration, and strategic distribution planning in mitigating price spikes. The study offers empirical evidence to support more responsive government interventions in stabilizing chili prices and reducing inflationary pressure in perishable food markets.

Abstract

Abstract

Community service activities were carried out in Palon Village, Jepon District, Blora Regency, a center for beef-cattle production. The initiative responded to the continued reliance on traditional practices, especially manual financial record-keeping and product marketing, which limit efficient, evidence-based decision-making and constrain market access to mostly local buyers. The capacity-building program equipped 27 participants (farmers, livestock keepers, and fish cultivators) with practical skills in farm recording and digital marketing through a participatory approach covering preparation, training, and evaluation with pre-test and post-test. Results show substantial gains: understanding of farm recording rose from 29,63% to 48,15%, while digital marketing comprehension increased from 37.04% to 88.89%. Two primary benefits followed: participants adopted structured financial records to track costs and revenues, and they gained digital-marketing skills that expanded market reach and increased income via online platforms. These outcomes demonstrate the program’s effectiveness in enhancing financial and digital literacy and equipping farmers with managerial and marketing capabilities aligned with the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

The study aimed to visualize and understand how circular economy practices had been adopted within emerging apparel industry by employing the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) through Rich Picture analysis. Qualitative data were collected from interviews, focus group discussions, and policy document reviews. The study explored interactions among key stakeholders within the apparel industry ecosystem, which consisted of government institutions, apparel producers ranging from large brands to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), associations, recyclers, and consumers. The analysis applied SSM through Rich Picture to visualize technological readiness, entrepreneurial innovation, stakeholder relationships, and socio-political dynamics that shape the adoption process. The finding revealed that the adoption of circular practices was still at an early and fragmented stage. Limited technological capacity, weak policy coordination, and unequal power relations between dominant brands and smaller producers created significant barriers to progress. Several emerging initiatives led by ethical brands and community-based recyclers demonstrated a growing entrepreneurial creativity and moral commitment toward sustainable production. The Rich Picture captured these dynamics visually, connecting technological constraints, regulatory gaps, and market perception that influenced the system’s current state. This study concluded that accelerating circular adoption required systemic collaboration among entrepreneurs, policymakers, and technology actors. By extending SSM to the context of sustainability-driven innovation, this research provided practical insights for policymakers and industry practitioners to strengthen technological capacity, financial incentives, and partnership mechanism in building a more circular and inclusive apparel ecosystem.
