Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between Islamic guidance and counseling (BKI) and the ḥalāqah ta'lim method to improve students' spirituality at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study type. Data in the form of Islamic Guidance and Counseling service activities with Ḥalāqah Ta'lim in Improving the Spirituality of Students at Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung obtained through observation techniques, in-depth interviews (with Ma'had administrators, ustadz/ustadzah, and students), and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results indicate that the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, as one of the methods in Islamic guidance and counseling, plays a significant role in improving students' spirituality. The ḥalāqah ta'lim method can be an effective form of service because it includes important elements that align with Islamic counseling principles, such as spiritual guidance, character development, and improving the quality of individual life. The activities of the ḥalāqah ta'lim method, which include learning the Qur'an, learning English and Arabic, and moral development, can increase the spiritual awareness of Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Raden Intan Lampung students.

Abstract

Background: Habits of Mind require calm and confidence. High cognitive anxiety can hinder biology learning. This study analyzes the 9E Learning Cycle Model to improve 11th-grade students' Habits of Mind on the digestive system topic. Methods: The research employs a Quasi-Experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consists of the 11th-grade students from SMA A in Bandar Lampung, selected through Cluster Random Sampling. The research instruments include multiple-choice tests and a habits of mind questionnaire. Data is analyzed using Independent Samples t Test. Results: It is revealed that the Learning Cycle 9E Model Based on Performance Assessment is a solution to improve high school students' habits of mind in biology learning, as evidenced by normally distributed and homogeneous data, with a calculated significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 (α). Conclusions: The findings of this study are expected to serve as a literacy source that encourages readers to understand and delve deeper into the Learning Cycle 9E model based on performance assessment that can be applied to enhance students' habits of mind. Additionally, the results of this research can be used as input for educators to enhance the quality of learning activities, particularly in the subject of biology. The implications of this study indicate that the use of the 9E Learning Cycle Model can significantly improve students' critical thinking, creative thinking, and self-regulation skills, which are essential for preparing them to face 21st-century challenges.

Abstract

Pembelajaran pada materi biologi memiliki banyak proses, mekanisme dan juga konsep yang sering kali sulit dipahami oleh siswa, maka pemahaman konsep menjadi hal krusial. Menggunakan media pendidikan adalah sekian dari satu cara dalam membantu siswa untuk mengerti sebuah mata pelajaran.   Menemukan dan mengevaluasi kelayakan dan keefektifan konten augmented reality berlandaskan Android dalam mengembangkan pengertian siswa kelas XI SMA tentang konsep sistem peredaran darah adalah tujuan dari proyek ini. Desain pengembangan menggunakan Borg & Gall yang sekedar memakai 9 aspek pada 10 tahap yang ada. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket ahli (bahasa, media, materi), angket respon, serta tes pemahaman konsep bentuk essay. Analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase kelayakan, uji n-gain, dan uji independent t-test. Menurut uji kelayakan pada ahli media, 82% ahli materi memiliki kriteria sangat layak, 84% memiliki kriteria sangat layak, dan 79% memiliki kriteria praktis.  Produk ini mendapat respon 83% dari siswa yang memenuhi syarat sangat layak. Efektifitas produk diketahui dari hasil n-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (0,47) dari kelas kontrol (0,23), sedangkan nilai t-hitung (5,94) lebih besar melalui t-tabel (2,00), sehingga H1 diterima, artinya media pembelajaran augmented reality berlandaskan android efektif dalam mengembangkan pengertian konsep dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi siswa.

Abstract

Artikel ini berisi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku gangguan kecanduan game online pada siswa. game online sendiri memiliki salah satu penyimpangan yang dilakukan oleh remaja karena kecanduan game online termasuk berbohong. Kebiasaan berbohong ini disebabkan oleh remaja yang notabene masih pelajar mendapatkan uang dari orang tua mereka. Jika mereka berkata terus terang meminta uang untuk bermain game online, tentu saja orangtua sulit memberi. Karena alasan ini, banyak remaja memilih untuk berbohong. Jumlah waktu yang dihabiskan untuk bermain game dapat memengaruhi perilaku remaja, termasuk kemalasan. Selain itu, berbagai game online sering membutuhkan uang untuk membeli senjata game, sehingga ada kemungkinan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna masih pelajar yang berbohong kepada orang tua karena berbagai alasan untuk memenuhi hobi mereka bermain game online. Perubahan perilaku pada remaja yang kecanduan game online mungkin tidak dirasakan oleh remaja itu sendiri, tetapi dapat dirasakan oleh orang lain di lingkungannya, terutama orang tua, hal ini dibuktikan dengan banyaknya remaja yang sering bermain bolos dan menghabiskan waktu di depan komputer daripada buku, sehingga menyebabkan kegiatan sekolahnya terganggu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan remaja lebih memilih game online. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, penelitian ini dilakukan di MA Al Furqon Prabumulih pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 pada tanggal 26 Februari hingga 26 Maret sesuai dengan jadwal yang disepakati. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X MA Al-Furqon Prabumulih sebanyak 53 siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase interest in learning mathematics class XI IPS students SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung using group guidance with discussion techniques. Method used in this study is quasi experimental research. The population of this study is the students of class XI IPSSMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung is 119 then the sample of research is 25% ie 30 learners by adjusting the purpose of research using random sampling. The data collection techniques using quesioner, observation, interview and documentation. The result of data analysis The interest of learning in class XII IPS of SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung that there is an increase of learning interest from both experiment and control group. There was 34.77% to 73.44% thus explaining that in the experimental group experienced an increase in learning interest of 38.67% and in the control group from 48.82% to 59.85% this showed that there was an increase in the control group of 11, 03%.

Abstract

The problem in the research is the low social skill of the learners. The problem in this research is "what is group guidance service with effective discussion technique to improve low social skill to class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017?". The purpose of this research is to know that group counseling service with an effective discussion technique to improve low social skill in class XII student of IPA 2, IPA 5 and IPS 1, IPS 2 SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is quasi experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design design. Subjects in the study amounted to 20 students class XII IPA and IPS SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung who have low social skills. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire (scale of social skills). The results obtained in this study indicate that social skills can be improved using group counseling services with discussion techniques, it is shown from the results of data analysis using t-test, from the scores obtained experiment and control class that is tcount = 2.678> ttable = 2.101 then, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve low social skills. Brief conclusions in this study that group guidance services with effective discussion techniques to improve the social skills of student class XII SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung academic year 2016/2017

Abstract

Social skills and self-confidence are two things that are interrelated. In junior high school students who have social skills and confidence is very important for learners. The research design uses correlation design. The researchers collected data on social enlightenment and self-confidence using the scale of skills and social beliefs that had been tested for their validity and reliablity. The subjects used in this study were 158 students at SMPN 8 Yogyakarta taken through random sampling technique from the population as much. The results of data processing showed that most of the students of grade VIII SMPN 8 Yogyakarta had high social and confidence skills, and data analysis showed that there was a relationship between social skills and students' self-confidence.

Abstract

The phenomenon of disciplinary problems of the student  is still happen. Discipline behavior is a behavior that demonstrates obedience and compliance which requires students to comply with established regulations. One of the most frequent disciplinary violations is leaving school without permission. Several factors that influence students to break discipline are environmental factors. Therefore, it needs proper handling in overcoming discipline problems of students. one technique that can be used in overcoming disciplinary problems, namely self-management. In the use of self management techniques to overcome undisciplined behavior students are directed to modify environmental aspects that can influence the emergence of undisciplined behavior.

Abstract

Co-working spaces, which were initially favored by freelancers and startups, are now starting to be eyed by students as a suitable place for alternative learning. This study involved a sample of Postgraduate students at the Masters and Doctoral levels from one of the Universities in Bandung. The purpose of this study was to see what students wanted from a collaborative workplace or co-working space as an alternative learning place. The data collected includes student preferences for facilities, atmosphere, and time flexibility offered by co-working spaces. The results of the study show that students in the midst of their busy learning activities really need a supportive place, the majority of students consider co-working spaces as a more productive place to study. This choice is influenced by several factors, including convenience, fast internet access, an environment that supports collaboration, and the existence of supporting facilities such as discussion rooms and the availability of food that can be ordered. These findings indicate that there is great potential to build a student-friendly workplace

Abstract

An electronic cigarette is a device designed to deliver nicotine without tobacco acid by heating a solution of nicotine, flavoring, propylene glycol and glycerin. This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students at junior high schools (MTsN 3 North Lampung) who have a low understanding of the dangers of electronic cigarettes because lack of provision of information services. This research aims to determine the effect of information services in increasing understanding of the dangers of e-cigarettes among students at junior high schools (MTsN 3 North Lampung). The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The instrument used is a questionnaire or questionnaire. The population in this study was 60 students, namely class VIII. The research results show that there is a significant influence on information services to increase understanding of the dangers of e-cigarettes among students at MTsN 3 North Lampung.
