Abstract

The problems faced by children in orphanages are generally related to learning in the current pandemic season. The limitations of the learning process at school have reduced interest in learning. The target to be achieved at the Mercy Clement Indonesia Foundation Orphanage is to increase children's interest in learning with the reward method. The implementation of this service activity lasts approximately three months from the time of release, and takes place twice a week. The method used in the implementation of this activity is the Group Work method by Zastrow with 5 stages, namely: Intake and contract stages, Member Selection Stage, Assessment and Intervention Planning Stage, Group development stage, and the last stage is the Evaluation and Termination Stage. The results obtained from the implementation of this program can be seen from the increased interest in children's learning at each meeting.

Abstract

Beliefs that are owned by someone that is positive and must be owned by everyone who is born from oneself without any coercion from others to admit a reality that can be accepted by others. Strong interactions from time to time foster mutual trust and high solidarity. This can be seen from the mutual trust and sense of comfort. The social relationships that have been formed move them to see and form networks and have goals. This is very influential on its implementation effectively, and to maintain each individual who is emphasized for norms and rules that have been mutually agreed upon. Self-knowledge and interests are very difficult if done by individuals alone, therefore values, norms, self-confidence, are very important. especially in today's era, there are very minimal morals, so that it can damage their identity. There are also those who have good morals for children and are in accordance with their abilities as well as interesting interests and talents so that they can develop the capability to learn and work optimally with great enthusiasm.

Abstract

Based on the transformation of the agrarian struggle into a political movement carried out by Serikat Petani Indonesia (SPI) as a mass peasant organization over the problem of inequality in agrarian control in Indonesia, this paper describes and analyzes how the pattern of agrarian political movements is carried out. By using data collection techniques such as literature studies and in-depth interviews at the SPI management level (from the base level in the village sector; the regional level in the provincial sector, as well as the central level in charge of the national and international sectors).By using the Narrative Research Analysis approach, the authors classify the patterns of political movements carried out by SPI, classified into local, national and international levels, each level having links as a pattern that is deemed necessary to synergize with each levels. SPI has taken actions from a social, economic, cultural, and political standpoint that are manifestations of views based on problems faced by peasants themselves. Based on the findings of this study, the authors believe that agrarian issues necessitate a massive multi-dimensional political movement that is justly oriented toward the interests of the people.

Abstract

An orphanage is a social institution that has the responsibility to provide social welfare services to neglected children, as well as to provide substitute services for parents/guardians of children in meeting the physical, mental and social needs of children. Social services are very much needed for children in orphanages. especially education services, referring to the results of research showing that the fulfillment of the rights and educational needs of children in orphanages has not been maximized. Education is basically the right of every child without exception. Education functions to shape students' attitudes and orientation towards learning, instill a positive attitude and thirst for knowledge. In providing educational training to children using the fulfillment of educational needs using the group method (Group Work) this is a comprehensive education about educational training as a garden of learning. The intervention program used in this Practicum activity is the Mezzo Intervention by Zastrow which consists of; Preparation (with a Non-Directive Approach), Intake / Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Action Plan, Evaluation and Termination.. Can increase the knowledge, skills and creativity of orphanage children. The children of the Kasih Hati Orphanage Foundation can read, write, and count well.

Abstract

Mathematics lessons are very important at the present time, mathematics as a field of study taught in formal educational institutions is an important part of efforts to improve the quality of education. Mathematics lesson is a lesson that deals with many concepts. The problems faced by children in orphanages are generally related to learning, especially mathematics. This happened at the Nazar Indonesia orphanage. The solution offered in this Practicum activity is to utilize YouTube media in the form of animated videos learning mathematics which aims to increase the curiosity of orphanage children in learning Mathematics. This practicum uses the Group Work method proposed by Zastrow, as follows: Intake and contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, Termination. The results of this practicum activity are intended so that children in the Nazar Indonesia Orphanage can understand learning in formal educational institutions, especially mathematics.

Abstract

English Social Work Journal that social service is a form of social work practice that is embodied in social service agencies. This is in line with the change in mindset in the provision of social services. Efforts made by social care institutions for children are providing social services to neglected children who do not have parents, father, mother or family and are economically disadvantaged. To realize this, it is necessary to increase the professionalism of social services, one of which is to increase the quality of services in social institutions. This journal discusses the quality of social services at the Shade of Kasih Kemuliaan Orphanage. This was done by carrying out an English learning program where the training program was carried out at the Shade of Kasih Kemuliaan Orphanage and there were 13 children and 6 students involved. and fundraising to meet the basic needs of the Orphanage by providing groceries.

Abstract

Life skills are various skills or abilities to be able to behave positively and adapt to the environment that enables a person to face various demands and challenges in his daily life effectively. One that includes life skills for adolescents is vocational skills, the point of which is how to turn hobbies and talents into independent living businesses. Hobby is a recreational activity that is done in spare time to calm one's mind. Talent is an innate ability in the form of potential that still needs to be developed or trained to achieve specific skills, knowledge and skills. Hobbies and talents are very useful for growing potential within. The author has carried out practicum activities at the Islamic Education Builders Orphanage which is guided and supervised by Mr. Fajar Utama Ritonga, S.Sos, M.Kesos as the school Supervisor and also the Teaching Lecturer for Practicum II Courses. The author chose 14 clients to carry out a mini project, namely "Growing Children's Hobbies and Talents at the Islamic Education Development Orphanage to Improve Life Skills (life skills)" using the approach method according to Zastrow. This Mini Project is carried out as the final goal of practicum II. These stages consist of intake case, assessment and program planning, member selection, group development, evaluation and termination.After doing this practicum, it is hoped that the client will be able to improve life skills through hobbies and talents.

Abstract

in writing The purpose of writing this article is to look at the Medan City government's efforts to deal with the need for Social Welfare Services (PPKS), especially Street Children based on Medan Mayor Regulation Number 6 of 2003 concerning the Prohibition of Begging and Begging in Medan City which is carried out by the Medan City Social Service in coordination with the Civil Service Police Unit. Praja (Satpol PP) of Medan City and in collaboration with the Medan City Police. This journal discusses the process of dealing with Homeless and Beggars through the Social Rehabilitation Program carried out by the Medan City Social Service. Social rehabilitation is basically to restore and develop the abilities of someone who experiences social dysfunction so that they can carry out their social functions properly. The method in writing this journal is to use the group work stage method in general (general).

Abstract

Mahasiswa baru S1 dari luar Kota Medan T.A 2020/2021 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sumatera Utara sejak awal memasuki perkuliahan menggunakan platform sistem pembelajaran daring sebagai media pembelajaran maupun media yang menghubungkan mereka dengan kegiatan kampus dan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Pengaruh Sistem Pembelajaran Dalam Jaringan (Daring) terhadap Penyesuaian Diri Mahasiswa Baru S1 Dari Luar Kota Medan T.A 2020/2021 Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Sumatera Utara. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan persamaan Y= 25,369 + 0,615 X. dengan R Square 0,467 atau 46,7% yang artinya Sistem Pembelajaran Daring (zoom dan E-Learning USU) mampu menjelaskan Penyesuaian Diri Mahasiswa Baru S1 Dari Luar Kota Medan T.A 2020/2021 sebesar 46,7%.

Abstract

Childhood is an essential period in human life. Because it is during this period that childrens have strong memories so that they can easily learn and develop from what childrends see and hear. Every human, who is going through growth and development, through various phase and stage in life. From infants, babies, toddlers, children, teenagers and adults. Crucial moments in growth and development lies on the stages of children and teenagers. In the stages of adolescence and adulthood, every child must be equipped. Debriefing children can be done in various ways and methods of learning. Before entering the public environment with peoples, every children must be equipped with a sense of self-confidence to make it easier for children to socialize with the surrounding environment. In hence to achieve,the needs of self-development of children at the Ora Et Labora Nusantara Orphanage, located at Jalan Perkutut No. 44, Central Helvetia, Kec. Medan Helvetia, Medan City, North Sumatra, learning activities are carried out with a system of mutual participation and interaction in each activity. The learning method is called the Look and Do Method. The goal is that every child is able to express himself so that in the development towards adolescence to adulthood each child is equipped with a sense of self-confidence.
