Mental disorders are behavioral patterns shown in individuals that cause distress, reduce quality of life and dysfunction. Mental disorders also affect Some mental disorders that are quite common in the community include depression, anxiety/anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, PTSD, personality disorders, etc. Those who experience mental disorders will experience changes in their thoughts, feelings and behavior, so that it can interfere with work, daily activities and patterns of relationships with other people. One Heart to Empower Foundation (YASAM) is an institution engaged in Social, Education, and Humanitarian fields. YASAM's address is at Jalan Bunga Rampai IV, Simalingkar B, Kec. Profit Field. YASAM has 4 programs, one of which is social rehabilitation which deals with drug problems and mental health disorders. The services provided to patients are religious guidance, counseling with psychologists, assessment by social workers, music therapy, skills guidance, and recreation. On this occasion, the practitioner applies learning about self-creativity to one of the patients at YASAM.

This research purpose to describe the social intervention of the Birmingham Small Arm Owner Motorcycle Siantar (BOM'S) community in fighting for pedicabs with the Birmingham Small Arm (BSA) motorbike brand as a means of transportation for tourists. The research method was carried out with a qualitative approach, the informants in the study were the key informants and 4 main informants. The location of the study was carried out in Pematangsiantar City. The results of this study describe social intervention by the Birmingham Small Arm Owner Motorcycle Siantar (BOM'S) with 4 demands called the " Empat Tuntutan Rakyat Bikers Becak Siantar ", with demonstration activities, besides the community also conducts social activities such as touring, tourism promotion in Pematangsiantar City. antique motorbike exhibitions, cultural arts performances, and the next action was the construction of the Becak Siantar monument in the Siantar City Square in 2018, which featured the Siantar pedicab with the Birmingham Small Arm/BSA brand motorbike as an icon of the Pematangsiantar City. The conclusion of this study is a model of social community intervention that is carried out using a model of social action and community development.

Children are an inseparable part of the context of change because children have an important role as the next generation of the nation. In order to be able to fulfill their responsibilities and roles in the future, every child needs to get protection and the opportunity to grow and develop physically, mentally and socially optimally. Children are vulnerable to becoming victims of various social problems because they are physically weak and easily manipulated. Orphanages are social welfare institutions that accommodate children with various social problems to help and ensure they have the basic rights to grow and develop optimally. The problems that exist at the Baitul Amanah Irwansyah Dakhi Orphanage are limitations on infrastructure and funding such as the absence of educators and the low academic ability of the orphans. Fun-Learning is a teaching method that focuses on creating comfortable and interactive teaching conditions so that learning can take place effectively. The Fun-Learning implementation was carried out during the Job Training-2 carried out using the General Method, which consisted of Engagement and Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Termination.

Pengasuhan yang diterima dari kedua orang tua merupakan hak mutlak bagi setiap anak. Namun, ketiadaan orang tua dalam kehidupan anak membuat anak tersebut tidak mendapatkan pengasuhan yang optimal dari orang tuanya. ketiadaan orang tua ini merupakan kondisi dimana orang tua sang anak tidak diketahui keberadaannya atau kondisi-kondisi lain yang membuat anak tidak mendapatkan haknya untuk diasuh. akan tetapi, hal ini dapat diatasi dengan memberikan pengasuhan alternatif. Pengasuhan alternatif itu berupa pengasuhan yang dilakukan dengan cara berbasis keluarga pengganti atau bisa juga dengan Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Dan Juga Mendeskripsikan Bagaimana Pola Asuh Pada Anak Panti Asuhan Dalam Perspektif Kesejahteraan Sosial Di Panti Asuhan Baitul Amanah Irwansyah Dakhi serta Dampak Perubahan Perilaku Anak Dari Penerapan Pola Asuh Di Panti Asuhan Baitul Amanah Irwansyah Dakhi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan sample penelitian yaitu 4 informan utama, 1 informan kunci dan 1 informan tambahan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data dilakukan pada 3 tahapan yaitu Reduksi data, Penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk pola asuh yang di gunakan di Panti Asuhan Baitul Amanah Irwansyah Dakhi ini adalah pola asuh gabungan yaitu antara pola asuh demokratis dan juga pola asuh otoriter serta tidak adanya dampak yang menyebabkan perubahan perilaku pada anak dari punishment yang diberikan oleh pihak panti. Pola pengasuhan di Panti Asuhan Baitul Amanah Irwansyah Dakhi masih belum sesuai dengan Permensos No.30/Huk/2011.

Ukhuwah Islamiyah dapat diartikan sebagai persaudaraan dalam islam. Ukhuwah Islamiyah memiliki 4 prinsip diantaranya Ta’aruf (saling mengenal), Tafahum (Saling memahami), Ta’awun ( saling menolong), dan Takaful (saling memberikan rasa aman). Ukhuwah Islamiyah ditujukan untuk membantu memenuhi kebutuhan mendasar dalam kehidupan, salah satu kebutuhan mendasar dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat adalah pengurusan jenazah, dalam kasus ini pengurusan jenazah secara muslim memerlukan keahlian khusus dan dana yang dianpgap tidak sedikit pula. Untuk itu perlu adanya prinsip saling membantu dan tolong menolong agar masyarakat dapat menyelesaikan pemenuhan pengurusan jenazah ini dengan mudah. Mustahil bila masyarakat mengurus jenazah nya sendiri ketika ia telah meningggal dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melihat langsung fenomena yang terjadi dilapangan dan bertujuan untuk menemukan fakta tentang ketarkaitan ukhuwah islamiyah dengan serikat tolong menolong Al-Amin. Secara sederhana hasil yang ditemukan ialah benar adanya kegiatan yang ada dalam proses pengurusan jenazah yang dilakukan oleh Serikat tolong menolong Al-Amin menerapkan prinsip ukhuwah islamiyah dan menjadi solusi pemenuhan kebutuhan pengurusan jenazah secara islam.

The orphanage is a social institution that aims to shape the development of children, such as orphans, orphans, orphans, abandoned children. Children will feel safe, receive support, attention if they feel their presence is accepted by all parties. However, in reality these expectations are difficult to achieve due to lack of attention from caregivers, facilities, unable to form warm relationships with other people. Through service activities, students do service to the children of the Al-Washliyah Orphanage, Kec. Binjai City, Binjai. Beginning with institutional observations. There were several problems with children, such as frequent fights, bullying, harsh words to others, and lack of hygiene. The intervention method used in this service is the Mezzo Intervention by Zastrow consisting of: Intake/Engagement, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and Termination. The results of the service are able to foster good character behavior through sharing session programs, self-introspection letters, learning groups, socializing the impact of bullying, making rules, sanctions. The implications of this service activity are able to contribute to forming a good personality, attitude, tolerance for orphans.

The soul and values of nationalism are very important to apply to students. In an effort to develop a spirit of nationalism in students, Rumah Pintar the Dolok Marsait Foundation, builds during a pandemic, which is one of the activities carried out for the children of the nation's generation, with the hope that it will foster a sense of love for the motherland and instill the values of nationalism and Pancasila. The purpose of carrying out this activity is to instill a spirit of nationalism by introducing national and national anthems to students, sharpening the meaning of Pancasila as the basis of the state so as to foster a sense of love for the motherland and instill nationalism and Pancasila values in students as the next generation of the nation so that created morals and morals in accordance with existing values. The target of this activity is students studying at the Dolok Marsait Foundation's smart house to build in order to create a generation of nations who have character with the spirit of defending the country and love for the motherland. This activity lasts for approximately 3 months which is carried out at each learning meeting. From this activity it can be seen that a sense of togetherness and nationalism grows within the students.

This study aims to describe the social service program for children at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi orphanage, evaluate the social service programs that have been carried out, and analyze the driving and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the children's social service program at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation orphanage. This research is descriptive. This study uses an evaluation method, the results of the study indicate that social services at the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation orphanage are lacking. There are four types of services found, namely physical and health services, education services, mental spiritual services, and skills guidance services. Anugrah Kasih Abadi Orphanage is one of the privately owned orphanages that was established in 2008, the number of children in the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Orphanage is 61 people including 30 boys and 31 girls and 6 caregivers. The results of the study are that planning is carried out before the implementation of social service activities for children in orphanages. The involvement of all elements in planning is very important both, providing guidance and direction to foster children. Always supervised by both the caretaker of the orphanage and by the teacher who teaches.

The role of parents for adolescents is very important in shaping the character of adolescents. Teenagers who are in orphanages cannot feel the role of parents because they do not have parents. One way that is done so that teenagers are in care is to accommodate these children into a container, namely an orphanage. The orphanage is one of the child protection institutions that functions to provide protection for the rights of children as representatives of parents in meeting the mental and social needs of foster children so that they have the opportunity to develop themselves until they reach a mature level of maturity and are able to carry out their roles as individuals and groups. citizens in social life. Anugrah Kasih Abadi Foundation Orphanage as a developer in shaping the character of children who are better with the strategies used by the orphanage. The results of the study indicate that the orphanage strategy in shaping the character of the child is by, (1) assigning tasks to foster children, (2) obliging the children to worship. The obstacles encountered in the character building strategy are: (1) The influence of children outside the orphanage, (2) Unruly nature and character.

One of the most important aspects of life is self-confidence. Self-confidence is an attitude or feeling confident about one's own abilities. Cultivating self-confidence starts from within yourself and support from others. Therefore, a child who does not have self-confidence needs help from friends or family in order to grow his confidence. Especially children who are in the Orphanage, because since childhood they are not with their parents, their self-confidence may decrease when they meet other people or friends outside the Orphanage. A child who has self-confidence will certainly easily overcome the problems faced, but on the contrary if a child does not have self-confidence, he will tend to experience difficulties. The same thing happened to one of the children in the Anugrah Kasih Abadi Orphanage who needed help to increase their self-confidence. The process of providing assistance is interspersed with increasing their sense of community. This process is carried out in the PKL I mini project activity, using the casework method through general or general intervention stages consisting of Engagement, Intake Contract, Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation, and Termination.
