Abstract

In the mathematics learning materials taught by teachers of SDN 14 Kampung Jambak still using lecture methods anduse of learning media in schools have never been applied in the learning process. The research aims to produce a valid and practical Macromedia Flash-based learning medium on math subjects. This research uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model. The population in this study is students and students of class V SDN 14 Kampung Jambak which amounted to 53 people. Sampling techniques use random sampling techniques, which number 13students, data collection instruments in the form of validation sheets and practical questionnaires. Data analysis uses percentage techniques. Assessment results from media experts with an average of 92.55% of categories are very valid, and assessments from material experts with an average of 91.66% of categories are very valid. The results of practicality tests by teachers with a percentage of 92.66% so that it is declared very practical, and practical results from students with an average of 91.14% are declared very practical. So it can be concluded that macromedia flash-based learning media is very valid and very practical to use as an alternative medium in the learning process.

Abstract

The difficulty of students in operating Microsoft Excel programs as one of the data processing programs as a major factor in the low ability of students to process data. The training activities aim to make participants comprehensively understand the material presented, so that it can be implemented applicatively in the world of work and have the professional ability to operate Microsoft Excel and deliver participants to the International Microsoft Office Specialist Excel Certification. The method used in the implementation of this activity is teaching in a computer laboratory, tutorials (mentoring) using Microsoft Excel 2010 modules, discussions and questions and answers. The activity was carried out at the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Laboratory. The population is the 2017 STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Mathematics Education Study Program students who will graduate. Based on the activities carried out, it was obtained that out of 44 participants who were registered to take part in the training and international certification exam, only 29 participants took part in the training. Of the 29 participants who could take the international certification exam only 22 participants. There were 45% of participants who passed the certification exam so that they received the MOS Certified certificate from Microsoft. While 32% of participants received a Certificate of Completion certificate and as many as 23% of participants received a Certificate of Attendance certificate. So it can be concluded that the training provided is able to improve the ability of students to operate Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out the valid and practical characteristics of the Interactive Multimedia Design subject at SMK Negeri 1 Sijunjung, the method used is Research and Development (R&D), while the development model used is the ADDIE development model, namely the development which consists of five stages, namely, Analysis (analysis), Design (design), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). Research on the development of the ADDIE model was carried out only up to the Development stage, because the purpose of this research was only limited to developing and producing a valid and practical learning media, to be implemented. Making learning media in this Android-based interactive multimedia design subject uses the MIT App Inventor. The validity test of this Android-based learning media was carried out by 3 validators, namely the media validator and the material validator, for the media validator it was carried out by 3 lecturers, while the material validation was carried out by 1 lecturer and 2 teachers who teach interactive multimedia design subjects at SMKN 1 Sijunjung. the validation results of media experts were 0.903% in the valid category and material experts were 0.859% in the valid category. Android-based learning media is declared valid. The practicality Test of Android-based learning media from teacher practicality data is 91.66% in the very practical category.

Abstract

Materi bangun ruang sisi datar menjadi kendala dalam mata pelajaran matematika dan kurangnya penggunaan media berbasis teknologi untuk membantu proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan Smart Apps Creator yang valid pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development (R&D) dengan model Plomp (2013). Tahap yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini hanya 2 tahap yaitu preliminary research dan prototyping phase yang merangkap sampai uji validitas. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu angket validitas dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil validasi media pembelajaran oleh validator, didapatkan nilai akhir 95% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android menggunakan Smart Apps Creator pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar telah teruji kevalidannya untuk digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai media pembelajaran bangun ruang sisi datar.

Abstract

Bahan ajar yang tersedia belum mampu membuat siswa memahami konsep dalam matematika, terutama pada materi Peluang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi, lembar praktikalitas dan pedoman wawancara. Uji kepraktisan melibatkan 6 orang siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMPN di Kabupaten Agam. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian, diperoleh hasil sangat valid dan sangat praktis. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education pada materi Peluang sudah dapat digunakan. The available teaching materials have not been able to make students understand concepts in mathematics, especially in Opportunity material. The research aims to produce valid and practical LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education. The type of research used is Research and Development research about the Plomp development model. The instruments used were validation sheets, practicality sheets, and interview guidelines. The practical test involved 6 class VIII students at an SMPN in Agam Regency. Based on the results of the assessment, the results are very valid and very practical. It was concluded that LKPD based on Realistic Mathematics Education on Opportunity material can already be used.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still many students who are less interested and motivated in learning mathematics so that many students make mistakes in solving math word problems. The purpose of this research is to identify and identify the types of mistakes made students in working on word problems based on Newman's Error criteria and knowing the causes of students making mistakesIn doing story problems.The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach . The sample of this study were 24 students of class XI MIA 3. The research instrument was tests and interviews. The test results were analyzed based on Newman's criteria, after which students were interviewed based on the types of mistakes made by students.The results of this study indicate that the types of errors made by students based on Newman's criterion analysis consist of 5 errors, namely Reading errors, Comprehension errors, Transformation errors, Process Skill errors and Endcoding errors. The biggest mistake was made at the stage of writing the final answer, namely as much as 46.67%, while the smallest error was made at the stage of understanding the questions, namely as much as 5.33%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student mathematics learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an increase in the learning outcomes of class XI F1 students at SMAN 2 Basa Ampek Balai Tapan after implementing the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model. This type of research is pre-experimental, with the research design used: one-group pretest and posttest design. The subjects in this research were class XI F1. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling, chosen as the sample class was class XI F1. The research instrument for this research was the initial pretest and posttest. Analysis of the learning outcomes data used was the paired t-test. The analysis of learning outcomes data, it was obtained =19,72 at the real level ?=0.05 with =1.729. Because the data produces  then rejecting H0 means that student learning outcomes after applying the Auditory Intellectually Repetition model increase. Thus, there is an increase in the learning outcomes of class XI F1 students at SMAN 2 Basa Ampek Balai Tapan after implementing the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran teknologi layanan jaringan untuk siswa Kelas XI TKJ di SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau bisa disebut dengan Reseach and Development (RD), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian untuk mengukur validitas media diuji coba kepada validator media. Validator media yang terlibat adalah ahli materi dan ahli media. Subjek penelitian untuk uji kepraktisan media video pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran teknologi layanan jaringan menggunakan aplikasi canva dan H5P adalah siswa kelas XI TKJ 3 di SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan yang berjumlah 9 orang respon siswa dan 2 orang respon guru sebagai subjek ujicoba. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket, kemudian instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validitas dan angket praktikalitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai validitas media dengan  rata-rata 0,91 dengan katagori "sangat valid" sedangkan validitas materi dengan rata-rata 0,88 dengan katagori "sangat valid" dan penilaian dari praktikalitas guru dengan rata-rata 96,19% dikategorikan "sangat praktis" sedangkan praktikalitas siswa dengan rata-rata 90,54% dengan kategori "sangat praktis".
