Abstract

Most of the load in the motorcycles industry is motors. So, the largest energy use is in motorcycles. This study aims to prove the effect of speed change on a three-phase induction motor on energy consumption with a V.S.D. drive. The method used in this proof uses direct experiment methods and data analysis. The relationship between speed and energy use can be demonstrated through testing and data analysis. The results show that V.S.D. is set at frequencies of 20 Hz and 40 Hz to regulate the speed of the motor as a pump drive can save its energy use. This resulted in a reduction in energy consumption of 20.54% and operational costs of up to Rp 3,292.32 per month in the implementation of the motor as a pump driver.Bahasa IndonesiaSebagian besar beban di industri adalah motor. Sehingga penggunaan energi terbesar adalah pada penggunaan motor. Penelitian ini untuk membuktikan pengaruh perubahan kecepatan pada motor induksi tiga fase terhadap konsumsi energi dengan penggerak VSD. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuktian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen langsung dan analisa data. Melalui pengujian dan analisis data, hubungan antara kecepatan dan penggunaan energi dapat ditunjukkan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa VSD di atur pada frekuensi 20 Hz dan 40 Hz, untuk mengatur kecepatan motor sebagai penggerak pompa dapat menghemat penggunaan energinya. Merugikan penurunan konsumsi energi sebesar 20,54% dan pengurangan biaya operasional hingga Rp. 3.292,32 per bulan pada implementasi motor sebagai penggerak pompa.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPola distribusi beban antara ketiga fasa pada saluran distribusi sekunder transformator kurang diperhatikan, berakibat ketidakseimbangan antara ke tiga fasa pada sistem distribusi sekunder transformator dan menyebabkan rugi energi yang terjadi pada jaringan distribusi sekunder akan semakin meningkat. Peneliti merancang sistem monitoring keseimbangan beban pada saluran distribusi sekunder transformator dengan metode eksperimen dan pembuatan prototipe. Penyimpangan rata-rata pembacaan sensor arus 6.7% dan pembacaan sensor tegangan 5.84% dan rugi energi terbesar didapatkan pada saat persen pembebanan di fasa R=88,13%, fasa S=42,80% dan di fasa T=20,14%, yaitu 24,1 Wh pada penghantar netral dan 109,64 Wh pada penghantar pembumian.Kata kunci: voltage sensing, current sensing, beban tidak seimbang, arus netral, rugi energi ABSTRACTThe pattern of load distribution between the three phases in the transformer secondary distribution channel is not noticed. This situation results in an imbalance between the three phases of the transformer secondary distribution and causes energy losses that occur in the secondary distribution network will increase. The researcher designed a load balance monitoring system in the transformer secondary distribution channel with the experimental method and prototype manufacturing. Abstract

Tingginya angka kecelakaan kapal di Indonesia memerlukan sistem navigasi dan komunikasi yang andal. Salah satunya adalah automatic identification system (AIS), pengembangan AIS sampai saat ini masih terus dilakukan. Implementasi protokol advanced message queuing protocol (AMQP) pada manajemen data automatic identification system (AIS) multi-station dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keamanan navigasi maritim. AIS PPNS sebagai objek penelitian memiliki beberapa station penerima data AIS yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah Indonesia seperti Surabaya, Semarang, dan Batam. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, studi literatur, analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi performa sistem. RabbitMQ berperan sebagai broker dalam pengaturan pengiriman pesan AIS dari producer (station AIS) ke consumer (server AIS PPNS). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen data AIS dengan protokol AMQP mampu menangani trafik data yang tinggi dengan performa yang baik. Throughput pengiriman pesan stabil antara 2500 hingga 3500 pesan per detik, dan latensi pesan tetap rendah dan stabil, menunjukkan sistem yang dibangun dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam monitoring aktivitas kapal.

Abstract

Water quality is essential for safeguarding both public health and the environment. This study aims to develop a predictive model for assessing water quality using the Dtree (Decision Tree) method with the C4.5 algorithm. The research involves analyzing water samples from different sites around Sidomulyo Village, focusing on key parameters such as pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and turbidity. The objective is to create a model that categorizes water samples according to class II water quality standards. The research process includes data collection, initial data preparation, model development with the C4.5 algorithm, and performance evaluation. The results reveal that the dtree model achieved a high accuracy rate of 95.65% for water quality prediction. The confusion matrix analysis demonstrated a precision of 92.31% for predicting class II standards and 100% for identifying samples that did not meet these standards. These findings underscore the effectiveness of the C4.5 algorithm in evaluating water quality. The model offers valuable insights for water resource managers and policymakers, aiding in improved water quality monitoring and management. This research makes a significant contribution to enhancing decision support systems for more effective water quality management

Abstract

Application of Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Algorithm in determining PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) parameters to optimize AC motor control through simulation using MATLAB. AC motors are a critical component in a wide range of industrial applications requiring efficient control to ensure optimal stability and response. This research focuses on optimizing the motor's RPM control by fine-tuning PID parameters using the ACO algorithm. Precise RPM control is crucial for maintaining performance in dynamic industrial environments. The ACO algorithm is used to optimize the PID parameter by referring to the objective function of Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE). The optimization results show that this algorithm can achieve optimal convergence in the 33rd iteration with a fitness value of 6269. The optimal PID parameters obtained were Kp of 164.98, Ki of 23.47, and Kd of 10.51. The simulation of the AC motor control system shows a significant improvement in performance compared to the Trial-and-Error method. The simulation results demonstrate that ACO reduces steady-state errors by up to 9%, while Trial-and-Error reaches 25%. The settling time is also faster with ACO, which is 0.7 seconds, compared to the Trial-and-Error method which takes longer. The use of the ACO method in PID tuning has been proven to be more efficient and accurate than conventional approaches, thus improving the RPM stability and response of the AC motor control system. This study concludes that the integration between ACO and PID can be the optimal solution in automated control applications in industries that require responsive and stable motor RPM control.

Abstract

Kenyamanan dan kekhusukan beribadah sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi mendengar (akustik ruang) di tempat ibadah. Karakteristik akustik ruang meliputi tekanan bunyi yang mencukupi, distribusi suara yang merata, waktu dengung optimum, bebas dari cacat akustik dan tingkat bising yang rendah. Kondisi akustik yang baik dalam masjid merupakan kebutuhan. Ini menjadikan perlunya penelitian mengenai karakteristik “akustik ruang”. Masjid Masyithoh di Perumahan Wisma Permai Surabaya belum pernah diukur tingkat karakteristik “akustik ruang”nya. Dengan banyaknya penggunaan material reflektor dan absorber yang tidak imbang berpotensi menimbulkan reaksi cacat akustik berupa gema dan dengung ruang, pemusatan dan bayangan bunyi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif berbasis eksperimen dengan perhitungan Sabine dan spasial menggunakan simulasi software surfer golden 11. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pola penyebaran titik tekanan bunyi bernilai tinggi terletak pada titik dekat dengan sumber bising dan celah kecil pada masjid. Nilai background noise pada masjid lantai satu dan dua sebesar 53,98 dan 48.98 dBA (memenuhi standar KMNLH No. KEP-48 MENLH/11/1996 untuk tingkat kenyamanan pada tempat ibadah sebesar 55 dBA). Nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi maksimum sebesar 92,2 dBA di lantai 1. Persebaran suara pada masjid lantai satu tidak menyebar secara merata dan lantai dua menyebar secara merata. Nilai reverberation time dengan volume ruang masjid 2.204 m3 yaitu 4,46 sekon (belum memenuhi standard).

Abstract

Pneumatics has advantages in terms of response speed, cleanliness, and ease of maintenance, making it suitable for application in small to medium-scale automation systems. This study aims to design and simulate a semi-automatic cup sealing machine based on a pneumatic system using a cascade control logic approach. The background of this research is based on the increasing demand from the beverage packaging industry for efficient and partially automated cup sealing systems to enhance productivity. The methods employed include system analysis, formulation of control logic in the form of Boolean equations, and grouping of actuator work sequences using the cascade method to ensure a systematic and structured workflow. The system consists of three pneumatic actuators (pistons A, B, and C), a position sensor, a timer, and a 5/2-way two-position five-port pneumatic valve suitable for a two-channel system. Simulation and performance validation of the system were conducted using FluidSim software. Simulation results show that all components operate according to the designed sequence, with synchronised and timely actuator movements without logic conflicts. The implementation of cascade logic proved effective in regulating the system's operational sequence in a stable and efficient manner. This study concludes that a cascade logic-based pneumatic control system has the potential to enhance the efficiency of semi-automated systems and can be further developed towards full automation in industrial applications.

Abstract

The current manual process of planting and harvesting carrots in greenhouses is considered inefficient. Therefore, automation using electropneumatic technology presents a promising solution to enhance efficiency and agricultural yield. This research aims to design an electropneumatic installation for an automatic carrot planting and harvesting tool. The method used is design and simulation control based on a displacement diagram to determine the sequence of actuator motion. From this diagram, logical equations were formulated using Boolean algebra to form the basis of the control circuit. The entire circuit was then designed and tested through simulation using Fluidsim software. The design results show that the system requires 3 cylinders groups, three 5/2-way valves, 2 proximity sensors, and 2 gripper groups operating in six sequential stages. The simulation in Fluidsim successfully proved that the designed electropneumatic circuit can function according to the predetermined logic and working sequence. Thus, this design contributes a simulation-validated automated system design with the potential to be implemented to replace the manual harvesting and transplanting of carrots

Abstract

Kualitas standarisasi kelayakan kemasan menjadi parameter utama pada bidang industri untuk mencapai visi dan misi perusahaan dalam memastikan produk yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi standar yang diharapkan. Sistem pemilahan produk umumnya masih dilakukan dengan cara manual dengan pengamatan visual yang rentan terhadap ketidakakuratan dan interpretasi subjektif oleh operator yang menyebabkan kesalahan dalam mengenali produk. Penelitian ini melakukan perancangan sistem sortir produk dengan penambahan arsitektur UNet-Inception pada model CNN. Arsitektur UNet-Inception yang dikembangkan peneliti memiliki konstruksi layer konvolusi sebanyak 5 layer, pooling layer sebanyak 2 layer, up sampling 1 layer, serta pola concatenate sebanyak 1 layer, penambahan layer inception convolutional (Concv2D) dengan neuron hidden sebanyak 128 neuron. Model dengan penambahan arsitektur UNet-Inception berhasil mencapai tingkat akurasi training yang lebih tinggi daripada model tanpa arsitektur UNet-Inception dengan perbandingan yakni 98,39% berbanding 71,47%. Pada pengujian deteksi real-time didapatkan akurasi sebesar 93,34%. Sistem yang diciptakan mampu melakukan klasifikasi produk dengan sangat baik berdasarkan karakteristik bercak pada panjang bercak 3 cm, 5 cm, dan 7 cm, dengan akurasi keberhasilan mencapai 100%. Sistem integrasi dalam bentuk sortir yang telah diimplementasikan berhasil memberikan respons aksi reject yang sesuai dengan hasil deteksi produk cacat dengan akurasi keberhasilan mencapai 100%.
