Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Gontoran Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Pemilihan Kabupaten Lombok Barat karena dekat dengan Wilayah Kota Mataram yang memiliki tingkat infeksi Covid-19 tertinggi di wilayah NTB. Lombok barat berada pada peringkat 2 setelah Kota Mataram. Angka ini terus meningkat jika tidak ada kesadaran dari masyarakat untuk mengikuti himbauan pemerintah. Desa Gontoran adalah jalur perekonomian wilayah kecamatan lingsar, sehingga banayak masyarakat melewati Desa Gontoran menuju Pasar Mandalika, sehingga alat semprot disinfektan sangat dibutuhkan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberi kemudahan kepada masyarakat agar dapat melakukan penyemprotan secara otomatis agar tidak terlalu banyak tenaga yang dibutuhkan karena Desa Gontoran merupakan jalur ramai menuju pasar Mandalika untuk memasarkan hasil pertanian dan perkebunan masyarakat kecamatan Lingsar. Metode yang digunakan adalah membuat modul dan membuat langsung alat semprot bersama masyarakat Desa Gontoran dengan memanfaatkan pengetahuan elektronika di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika. Hasil pengabdian berupa modul pembuatan gerbang disinfektan dan produk gerbang otomatis disinfektan desa Gontoran. Kata kunci: alat semprot disinfektan otomatis; covid-19. ABSTRACTCommunity service activities are carried out in Gontoran Village, West Lombok Regency, West Lombok Regency Election because it is close to the Mataram City Region which has the highest Covid-19 infection rate in the NTB region. West Lombok is ranked 2 after the City of Mataram. This number continues to increase if there is no awareness from the public to follow the government's call. Gontoran Village is an economic route for the lingsar sub-district area, so that many people pass through Gontoran Village to the Mandalika Market, so that disinfectant spray equipment is needed. This service is done to make it easier for the community to spray automatically so that not too much energy is needed because Gontoran Village is a busy route to the Mandalika market to market the agricultural and plantation products of the Lingsar district community. The method used is to make modules and make a spray device directly with the people of Gontoran Village by utilizing electronic knowledge in the Physics Education Study Program. The results of the service are in the form of making disinfectant gate modules and automatic gate disinfectant gate products in Gontoran village. Keywords: automatic disinfectant sprayer;covid-19.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan buku petunjuk pratikum pada pokok bahasan gelombang dan bunyi untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R & D). Sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa MAN 2 Model Mataram Kelas XI. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Dick & Carey yang terdiri dari 10 langkah yang harus diikuti untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku petunjuk pratikum. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to develop a pratikum manual on the subject of waves and sounds to improve student motivation. This research uses research and development (R & D) method. As subject in this research is student MAN 2 Model Mataram Class XI. The development model used is Dick & Carey which consists of 10 steps that must be followed to produce the product in the form of manual pratikum. Data obtained through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative to measure student's learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian yang telah dilakukan ini tentang penerapan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan bukua ajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Labuapi semester gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Labuapi Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan buku ajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas empat tahap kegiatan, yaitu Perencanaan, Tindakan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi Teknik analisa data untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II menggunakan rumus t-tes dengan hipotesis sebagai berikut: H0 = tidak terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara Siklus I dan Siklus II, Ha = terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan antara Siklus I dan Siklus II. Adapun untuk ketuntasan belajar klasikal dinyatakan berhasil jika persentase siswa yang tuntas belajar atau siswa yang mendapat nilai ≥ 70 jumlahnya lebih besar atau sama dengan 85 % dari jumlah siswa seluruhnya. Hasil analisis data, ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh pada siklus I sebesar 4.76% dan siklus II sebesar 85.71% sehingga tindakan kelas selesai pada siklus II. Peningkatan hasil belajar ini masuk dalam kategori signifikan karena uji t beda rata-rata siklus I dan siklus II menunjukkan nilai thitung (= 5.30671) ttabel (= 2.84534) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa siswa kelas X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Labuapi Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 mengalami peningkatan setelah mengalami pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan buku ajar.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan 4.0 secara keseluruhan akan berkontribusi dalam membangun generasi saat ini, yang disebut “Z Generation”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Instagram #physics in my live pada model blended learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir Z Generation yang meliputi keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah pada siswa SMA. Masalah yang diteliti adalah (1) apakah ada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA Kediri Lombok Barat; (2) apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan media instagram #physics in my live model blended learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA Kediri Lombok Barat; (3) apakah ada hubungan antara aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif Z Generation siswa SMAN 1 Kediri Lombok Barat. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Perlakuan dilaksanakan pada satu kelompok ekperimen tanpa kelompok pembanding. Teknik Analisa data kuantitatif menggunakan uji Gain & uji regresi linear ganda dengan satu variabel terikat & tiga variabel bebas. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Tes tulis, Angket & Lembar Observasi. Tes paper pencil untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA. Angket penelitian untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media Instagram #physics in my live model blended learning, sedang lembar observasi untuk mengetahui pencapaian pembelajaran blended learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) media instagram pada pembelajaran blended learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA, (2) pembelajaran berbasis proyek mampu meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA, (3) setiap aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis mempunyai hubungan dengan aspek keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Kata kunci: instagram; keterampilan berpikir; Z generation; blended learning. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Instagram #physics in my live blended learning model on critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation of Kediri High School students, West Lombok. The problems to be researched are (1) whether there is an increase in critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem solving for Z Generation students at SMA Kediri, West Lombok; (2) is there any effect of using Instagram media #physics in my live blended learning model on critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation students of SMA Kediri, West Lombok; (3) whether there is a relationship between aspects of critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation students of SMA Kediri, West Lombok. The type of research that will be used is mixed research that emphasizes the collection of quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative research method used is a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The treatment was carried out in one experimental group without a comparison group. Quantitative data analysis technique using Gain test & multiple linear regression test with one dependent variable & three independent variables. The instruments of this research are Tests, Questionnaires & Observation Sheets. Paper pencil test to determine critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation high school students. The research questionnaire was to determine student responses to the Instagram #physics in my live blended learning model, while the observation sheet was to determine the achievement of blended learning. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) Instagram media in blended learning has an effect on increasing critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of high school students, (2) project-based learning is able to improve problem solving skills of high school students, (3) every aspect of skills critical thinking has a relationship with aspects of creative thinking skills. Keywords: instagram; thinking skills; Z generation; blended learning.

Abstract

In this research has been developed the application of flat coil as vibration sensor for early detection of earthquake. The flat coil is a very thin wire winding and acts as an inductor. This flat coil along with the capacitor constructs an oscillator which generates frequencies depending on the value of inductance and capacitance. This oscillator is called the LC oscillator. The flat coil inductance depends on the distance of the metal object in front of the flat coil. If the inductance changes, the frequency will change as well. Frequency can be converted into voltage form to represent distance. This effect is then applied to low frequencies using a pendulum on the sensor housing. The sensor system created can measure low-frequency vibrations in the range 0.26 - 1.0 Hz. Based on the research, the vibration sensor that has been made can measure one of the low frequency vibrations of 0.468 Hz at the frequency of 0.46 Hz vibration source

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini berjudul Pendampingan Pembuatan Alat Peraga BOKAS (Botol Bekas Hasil) sebagai Media Pembelajaran Alternatif Bagi Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) memberikan pendampingan bagi Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram dalam merancang alat peraga kreatif berbasis Botol Bekas Hasil (BOKAS); 2) Memberikan pendampingan Guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram dalam menyusun modul alat peraga BOKAS. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu 1) Tahap persiapan, melakukan komunikasi awal dengan kelompok guru SD 2 Aisiyah Mataram pada sekolah mitra tentang jumlah peserta PKM dari guru yang akan terlibat pada kegiatan PKM, 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, berupa kegiatan sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian, dan 3) Monitoring dan Evaluasi untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang ada kelompok mitra dengan cara memberikan masukan dan saran pada setiap kekurangan alat peraga BOKAS dan modul alat peraga yang belum dipahami oleh mitra. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut dapat disimpulkan yaitu 1) 95% guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram mampu merancang alat peraga berbasis Botol Bekas Hasil (BOKAS) sesuai dengan topik pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan; 2) 80% guru SD 2 Aisyiyah Mataram mampu menyusun modul alat peraga BOKAS sesuai dengan pedoman penyusunan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Kata kunci: alat peraga; BOKAS; media; alternatif. ABSTRACTThis service is titled Mentoring for Making Props of BOKAS (Botol Bekas Hasil) as Alternative Learning Media for Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram. The aim of the service is 1) to give mentoring to teachers of Aisyiyah’s elementary school in Mataram to design creative props based on used bottles; 2) to give mentoring to Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram to arrange the module of props of BOKAS. The method that was used consisted of three steps that is 1) the preparing step, doing the initial communication with Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram about the number of PKM participants from teachers involved in the PKM’s activity, 2) the implementation step, that is socialization and implementation activity of the service, and 3) monitoring and evaluation to help overcome partner’s problem through giving input and suggesting any props’ shortcomings of BOKAS and module that the group of the partners have not understood. Based on the result of the socialization dan the implementation of the service community can be concluded that 1) 95% of Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram could design props based on used bottles according to the topic of learning that they are teaching; 2) 85% of Teachers of Aisyiyah’s Elementary School 2 in Mataram could arrange the module according to the students’ worksheet (LKPD). Keywords: props; BOKAS; media; alternative.

Abstract

People's awareness of earthquakes is very deficient, and their earthquake mitigation is also relatively scant. The research objectives are: 1) Designing a flat coil-based vibration sensor on a Security Pos Drums as a Disaster preparedness media for Muhammadiyah Elementary School students; 2) Analyzing how high the level of disaster preparedness for Muhammadiyah Elementary School students through a flat coil-based vibration sensor on the Security Post Drums. This study uses two methods, i.e., 1) The experimental method was used to design the flat coil-based vibration sensor installed on the Security Post Drums. The vibration frequency measured by the flat coil sensor is the low frequency. The Security Post Drums work by striking it once or more, and then the vibration propagates to the sensor so the siren will blare; and 2) Qualitative and quantitative method used to measure students' preparedness in Muhammadiyah Elementary School. The samples applied are 26 students taken by random sampling method. The data on students' preparedness was collected using a questionnaire instrument. The research variable of the preparedness consisted of 5 aspects, i.e., 1) knowledge on types of disasters; 2) steps taken at the beginning of a disaster; 3) steps undertaken right after the disaster occurred; 4) materials need to prepared when disaster struck, and 5) preparedness in dealing disaster. The assessment was carried out using the Likert scale. The results of this research are 1) the disaster preparedness media for Aisyiyah Elementary School students has been designed in a flat coil-based sensor integrated with security post drums); 2) the level of disaster preparedness for Aisyiyah Elementary School students increased. This improvement was indicated that the posttest score (ranges from 60 until 68.18) was more significant than the pretest score (ranges from 49 until 58) on the overall five aspects.

Abstract

Physic learning usually requires more observation to form certain knowledge and concepts. Physic does not only consist of a collection of various knowledge or facts that can be memorized, but also consists of an active process of using the mind in studying natural phenomena that cannot be explained. Physics subject is one of the keys to success in increasing the ability to adapt to change and enter the world of technology. Therefore, certain ways are needed to convey the material in science lessons, especially physics. This study aims to produce Motion Graphic-based Work and Energy Learning Media on feasible work and energy materials in terms of materials, media, and students' responses. The research method used is research and development (R&D), using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The subjects were conducted in class X IPA 1, which consisted of 15 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results showed that media could be used as a teaching media in the physics subject of work and energy based on expert judgment with very good categories for media, materials, and students' responses. So it can be concluded that Work and Energy motion graphic media can be employed as a ground-breaking teaching tool for engaging Work and Energy physic material.

Abstract

Learning physics requires students to master the basic concepts of physics. Not infrequently, the physics concept is abstract, so it isn't easy to be perceived by students. However, abstract concepts in physics learning can be overcome by visualizing physics concepts packaged in computer software-based application programs in the form of computer simulations. This study aims to develop a 2-D motion simulation program based on the Matlab GUI. This study uses the Research & Development method. The development of this application program is carried out through 4 stages called 4-D: Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. The subjects in this study were 20 students of class XI MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of the product that has been developed is very feasible, with a percentage of 89,09% based on the assessment of material experts, 93,33% by media experts in the appropriate category, the response of students in class XI MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan on the motion simulation application program 2- D-based GUI Matlab with a percentage of 88,20% with an excellent category, and an increase in understanding of physics concepts on the subject of 2-D motion; projectile motion after students use the 2-D motion simulation application program is in the medium category, seen from the class average gain value of 0.62. Therefore, the application program that has been developed has met the eligibility criteria and can be used in physics learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPrioritas permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra yaitu guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek belum bisa merancang media pembelajaran berbasis botol dan kardus bekas (BOKAS). Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu 1) memberikan pelatihan bagi guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek dalam merancang media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis botol dan kardus bekas (BOKAS); 2) memberikan pendampingan bagi guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek dalam implementasi dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis BOKAS. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari 3 langkah yaitu 1) Tahap persiapan, melakukan komunikasi awal dengan mitra, 2) Tahap pelaksanaan, berupa kegiatan sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian masyarakat, dan 3) Monitoring dan evaluasi untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan yang ada pada kelompok mitra dengan memberikan masukan dan saran pada setiap kesulitan dalam membuat media pembelajaran sains inovatif berbasis BOKAS dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat tersebut dapat disimpulkan yaitu 1) sebesar 90% guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek mampu merancang media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis BOKAS sesuai dengan topik pembelajaran yang sedang diajarkan; 2) sebesar 90% guru PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek mampu menerapkan metode pembelajaran sains inovatif menggunakan media pembelajaran sains berbasis Botol dan Kardus Bekas (BOKAS) dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran; sains; inovatif; BOKAS. ABSTRACTThe priority problem faced by the partner is the teacher of PAUD As-Sholihah Banyumulek can not design media learning based on the used bottle and cardboard box (BOKAS). The objectives of this service are 1) to provide training for PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers in designing innovative science learning media based on used bottles and cardboard (BOKAS); 2) to provide assistance for PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers in implementing learning using innovative science learning media based on BOKAS. The method used consists of 3 steps, namely 1) The preparation stage, conducting initial communication with the partners; 2) The implementation stage, in the form of socialization and implementation of community service; and 3) Monitoring and evaluation to help overcome existing problems in the partner group by providing input and suggestions on any shortcomings in making innovative science learning media based on BOKAS and its implementation in learning. Based on the results of the socialization and implementation of community service, it can be concluded that 1) 90% of PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers are able to design innovative learning media based on BOKAS according to the learning topic being taught; 2) 90% of PAUD As Sholihah Banyumulek teachers are able to apply innovative science learning methods using science learning media based on Used Bottles and Cardboard (BOKAS) in classroom learning. Keywords: learning media; science; innovative; BOKAS.
