Abstract

Legacy of Sunan Gunung Djati Existing in Cirebon are mosques and palaces which are full of pre-Islamic material elements, both architecturally and objects from the past. This paper aims to explore pre-Islamic material elements in the Cirebon palace and analyze their meaning. The method used in this research is explorative-descriptive, namely one of archaeological research, research by exploring the place under study to look for the desired problem and try to describe it. Based on research, it can be concluded that: first, there are many pre-Islamic elements including, the Barong Lion Train (a train used for the purposes of the sultans), Kamasutera Carvings (reliefs depicting sexual activities), Nandi Statues (vehicles of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parwati), Lingga Yoni (Phallus symbolizing the male genitalia; Yoni symbolizes female genitalia), Bentar Temple (the entrance building of a temple-shaped temple that is split in half), the Derum Elephant Statue on the water (Gajah Derum Tirta Linuih; shows 1458 Saka), the Garuda Statue wrapped around a Snake (Bujnagga Ratu Obahing Bumi; shows 1618 Saka), The Firearms relief Monument (Braja Asta Rasaning Bumi: 1625 Saka), Lotus or Lotus (spiritual symbol symbolizing purity), The Garuda Mina stretcher (a vehicle for the sultans' children to be circumcised), Surya Majapahit (found on the mihrab of the Great Mosque of Cirebon; is the symbol of the Majapahit Kingdom), Ganesaha Carvings (scientific symbols in Hindu mythology), and Jaladwara (a hole to release water in a temple). Secondly, the existence has the meaning of friendship with other countries at that time such as China, India, and Arabia, it was found on the Barong Lion Train. In addition to this, the existence of pre-Islamic elements is a process of acculturation carried out by Sunan Gunung Djati to captivate the hearts of the people of Cirebon to know and embrace Islam.

Abstract

Research related to religious activities carried out by habaib located in the South Sumatra Region, more precisely in Lampung and its role in Islamic proselytizing in the period 1998 to 2014. The majority of habaib in the archipelago are predominantly from Hadralmaut and are quite large in spread, while this research is more specifically only discussing habaib in the Lampung region. This research was conducted to find out the history of the entry of habaib in Lampung as well as habaib religious activities in Lampung which of course have a variety of activities to broadcast Islamic proselytizing, as well as strengthen the Islamic community in Lampung. The research method used by the author is a historical research method, which is research that studie past events or events based on the traces produced, through four stages, namely: heuristics (collection of sources), criticism (internal criticism and external criticism), interpretation, and historiography (historical writing). Based on the research, it can be concluded that: first, this habaib community came from Hadhramaut (Yemen) in the 18th century. Initially, the habaib community in Lampung was still classified as an Arab community in Palembang, but in 1872 the Lampung community broke away from the Palembang Arab community, and spread throughout the area in Lampung. Although the Arab-Lampung community is younger than the Palembang Arab community, Secondly, this habaib community carries out religious activities in Lampung consisting of weekly, monthly and yearly activities As for the religious activities of the habaib community that are carried out per week are the reading of Rattibul Hadad, and the reading of 40 shalawat, then the monthly habaib religious activities, which contain the reading of the history of the Apostle, and the Dhikr Asmaul Husna. The last is the religious activity per year habaib, which is carried out at the Lampung sports center which is held every November to coincide with the anniversary of Lampung Regency.

Abstract

The study aims to identify The effectiveness of Librarians' interpersonal communication within circulation services at the Library and Archives Division of Lampung Province, as well as to comprehend the nature of the circulation services offered within the organization. The employed research approach with descriptive qualitative methodology, that describes information about the problem under study. Methods of gathering information encompassed observing, conducting interviews, and utilizing documentation. Data was subsequently analyzed by condensing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that interpersonal communication holds significance in delivering library services, encompassing abilities like openness, empathy, support, positive attitude, and equality. Researchers interviewed 5 librarians and 5 users, using a structured interview approach. These results indicate that librarians have implemented various communication skills, including openness, empathy, support, positive attitude, and equal treatment. Even so, the views of the users are different, they argue that the application of these skills is still not optimal. In conclusion, overall, circulation services provided by librarians at the Library and Archives Division of Lampung Province, are considered quite good, but the opinions of users indicate that the implementation of communication skills still needs to be improved.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini menginvestigasi penerapan strategi kolaboratif dalam implementasi program moderasi beragama bagi narapidana (Napi) di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Bandar Lampung melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research. Tujuan utama Pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan program moderasi beragama di lembaga pemasyarakatan dan untuk merancang strategi kolaboratif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi Napi dalam program tersebut. Metodologi Pengabdian melibatkan partisipasi aktif berjumlah 30 Napi, staf lembaga pemasyarakatan, dan pemangku kepentingan terkait dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi program. Hasil Pengabdian mengungkapkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti pemahaman agama, dukungan staf, dan partisipasi aktif Napi berperan penting dalam keberhasilan program moderasi beragama. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, Pengabdian ini mengusulkan sejumlah strategi kolaboratif, termasuk pelatihan staf, fasilitasi interaksi antara Napi dari berbagai latar belakang agama, dan peningkatan komunikasi dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal. Hasil dari Pengabdian ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi lembaga pemasyarakatan lainnya yang ingin meningkatkan efektivitas program moderasi beragama bagi Napi, serta memberikan wawasan berharga tentang pendekatan Participatory Action Research dalam konteks ini. This service investigates the application of collaborative strategies in the implementation of religious moderation programs for prisoners (prisoners) in Bandar Lampung Class I Penitentiary through a Participatory Action Research approach. The main objective of this Community Service is to identify factors influencing the success of religious moderation programs in prisons and to design effective collaborative strategies to increase prisoners' participation in such programs. The Community Service methodology involves the active participation of 30 inmates, prison staff, and relevant stakeholders in the program planning, implementation, and evaluation process. The results of Community Service revealed that factors such as religious understanding, staff support, and active participation of prisoners play an important role in the success of religious moderation programs. Based on these findings, the Community Service proposes several collaborative strategies, including staff training, facilitation of interaction between prisoners from various religious backgrounds, and improved communication with external stakeholders. The results of this Service can serve as a guide for other prisons seeking to improve the effectiveness of religious moderation programs for prisoners, as well as provide valuable insights into Participatory Action Research approaches in this context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komunikasi efektif pustakawan di perpustakaan perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR), dengan ekstraksi data dari database Google Scholar dan Scopus. Dari hasil pencarian, diperoleh 25 artikel yang relevan, setelah dilakukan analisis, 15 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi, sementara 10 artikel masuk dalam kriteria eksklusi. Dari hasil uraian diatas komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting dalam dunia perpustakaan, baik antara pustakawan dan pemustaka maupun dalam pelayanan informasi. Pustakawan yang memiliki keterampilan komunikasi yang baik dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan membuat pemustaka merasa nyaman dalam mencari informasi. Strategi komunikasi yang tepat, yang melibatkan komunikasi verbal, nonverbal, serta kemampuan untuk menyampaikan pesan secara jelas, berperan besar dalam mencapai tujuan perpustakaan. Kualitas pustakawan sebagai komunikator yang efektif akan mempengaruhi hubungan dengan pemustaka, yang pada gilirannya berdampak pada kepuasan dan keberhasilan layanan perpustakaan.

Abstract

Abstract. A child's world can be turned into a world of play that is full of joy and pleasure. Children are not the same as adults, everything related to their world is seen as far as possible from the child's perception. Unique individuals with different potentials are children's perceptions. Children's development is not only physical but also psychological, parental guidance is important in encouraging these qualities which become the foundation of life as the child grows. This research is qualitative. The research stages are carried out by selecting materials, focusing, simplifying, abstracting, and organizing so that conclusions can be drawn from the materials. Violence against children occurs virtually in the digital world. Relationships in the digital environment need to be managed wisely and carefully, and must be careful of incorrect assumptions. Increased awareness regarding internet use and violence in partner relationships highlights how important it is for parents to communicate better with their family members. Abstrak. Dunia anak dapat dijadikan dunia bermain yang penuh kegembiraan dan kesenangan. Anak-anak tidak sama dengan orang dewasa, segala sesuatu yang berkaitan dengan dunianya dipandang sejauh mungkin dari persepsi anak. Individu yang unik dengan potensi yang berbeda-beda merupakan persepsi anak. Perkembangan anak tidak hanya secara fisik, tetapi juga psikis, bimbingan orang tua penting dalam mendorong sifat-sifat tersebut yang menjadi landasan kehidupan seiring pertumbuhan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan dengan pemilihan bahan, pemfokusan, penyederhanaan, pengabstraksiandan pengorganisasian sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan dari bahan tersebut. Kekerasan terhadap anak terjadi secara virtual di dunia digital. Hubungan di lingkungan digital perlu dikelola dengan bijaksana dan hati-hati, serta harus berhati-hati terhadap asumsi yang tidak benar. Peningkatan kesadaran mengenai penggunaan internet dan kekerasan dalam hubungan pasangan menegaskan betapa pentingnya orang tua untuk berkomunikasi dengan anggota keluarganya secara lebih baik.

Abstract

Technological advances that are happening today have had a significant impact and progress in various sectors, especially in the field of information and communication. Communication, in its various forms, is one of the aspects affected by these developments, including interpersonal communication. A close relationship between interpersonal communication and libraries can be found. The library, as a building, serves as a place where various activities related to managing, collecting, compiling, organizing, and processing library materials are carried out. Interpersonal communication plays an important role in the context of this library. This study applies qualitative methods in data collection by approaching literature review, namely "Interpersonal Communication as a Strategy for Increasing the Utilization of Library Services in the Digital Era". These data are obtained through online observations from websites that support data collection, from books and journals available. The purpose of this study was to understand the role played by interpersonal communication in service use strategies in libraries. In the application of interpersonal communication, librarians must have the following traits and attitudes. 1. Empathy 2. Support 3. Positive attitude 4. Equality or similarity 5. Openness. Interpersonal communication is used as a form of communication in this context. Interpersonal communication includes the interaction between communicators and communicants, either directly or through media or intermediaries. This type of communication is considered very effective in approaching, changing opinions, and human behavior as a strategy to increase the utilization of library services in the digital age.

Abstract

In the context of the development of the Islamic Civilization History Study Program, several challenges need to be overcome. One is the need to optimize strategic communication of the Lampung Center for Islamic History Studies as an integral part of the study program development efforts. Although the Lampung Center for Islamic History Studies has potential and resources, governance, transparency, and communication effectiveness challenges can affect the progress and quality of the study program. This study uses a qualitative research method consisting of a series of approaches to explore the Lampung Center for Islamic History Studies communication strategy in the development of the Islamic Civilization History Study Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung, namely Participatory Interviews and Observations. Strategic communication optimization is the key to success in developing the Islamic Civilization History Study Program at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. Through a planned and effective communication approach, the Lampung Center for Islamic History Studies can achieve the goal of developing a better and sustainable study program. Improving the quality of research and publications is one of the positive impacts of optimized strategic communication. By developing a good communication strategy, the resulting research becomes more quality and relevant, and the results can be widely published, improving academic reputation and attracting the interest of students and other researchers

Abstract

Salah satu cabang ilmu komputer yang dapat digunakan dalam berbagai hal, salah satunya perpustakaan, adalah kecerdasan buatan atau AI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan yang lebih luas kepada pembaca, khususnya pustakawan, tentang bagaimana memanfaatkan AI untuk memberikan layanan perpustakaan dalam hal peta sebaran bibliometrik dan tren penelitian pada database Scopus dan Google Scholar dengan menggunakan VOSViewer. Pencarian literatur dilakukan secara khusus pada artikel-artikel pada periode 2019-2024. Pencarian awal pada kata kunci pertama menemukan 260 artikel pada database Scopus dan Google Scholar dalam bentuk jurnal, buku, dan prosiding. Setelah dilakukan seleksi berdasarkan jenis artikel untuk jurnal, terpilih 60 artikel. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa ChatbotWIDYA, sebuah perpustakaan CSOnline berbasis AI, bekerja dengan baik; sistem dapat berinteraksi dengan pengguna dan menjawab pertanyaan mereka. Perpustakaan BRIN telah menggunakan Scispace, sebuah platform berbasis kecerdasan buatan yang mempermudah pemahaman artikel ilmiah. Kehadiran Scispace sangat membantu para pustakawan dalam mendapatkan bahan bacaan ilmiah. Karena Scispace tersedia dalam berbagai bahasa, pustakawan dapat lebih mudah menelusuri dan mendapatkan literatur yang sesuai dari berbagai sumber bacaan dan bahasa.

Abstract

One of the motivations for women to work in the public sector is to increase family income. Usually, the husband's income is insufficient to meet family needs, so some women work in this sector. This study aimed to describe the Islamic views and conditions of working women in the Kita Muslim Fashion Convection, Way Serdang District, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province, in helping to increase family income. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data sources consist of primary data from interviews and secondary data from research-supporting documents. At the same time, the data analysis model uses interaction analysis. The results of this study are that Islam positions women as equal to men, where they also have rights and responsibilities within the family. Husband and wife can complement each other's tasks in the family. Women can replace or share the burden of meeting family needs with their partners. This phenomenon is similar to the women workers at the Kita Muslim Fashion Convection, Way Serdang District, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province, who contribute to helping the family economy so that household needs can be fulfilled.
