Abstract

Social media use has increased significantly in recent years, including the YouTube platform. The phenomenon allows religious organizations such as the Lampung Province Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) to convey religious messages to the wider community. There are various understandings, approaches, and different interpretations of Islamic teachings. This diversity often results in division and tension, increasing the potential for intolerance and radicalism. This article is qualitatively descriptive in analyzing the implementation of religious moderation on the “MUI Lampung” YouTube channel; how MUI Lampung constructed lectures on religious moderation from March 2020 to September 2021. This research aims to discover, describe, and analyze the content of religious moderation da'wah conducted by MUI Lampung using Teun A. Van Dijk's discourse analysis. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Lampung MUI packages da'wah videos by inserting the notion of moderation; (2) in each content of its YouTube channel, MUI Lampung provides support to the government in applying moderation to the community; (3) the affiliation of organizational power in conveying moderation discourse influences the ulema in conveying his da'wah.

Abstract

This article discusses the value of da'wah based on local wisdom in the tradition of the paliare ceremony in Lampung province, considering that the community has local wisdom values and has a reciprocal relationship. The diversity of society that influences cultural diversity in the form of Semende community rituals based on local wisdom is closely related to community life, community relations, and life search systems, safety and happiness. One of the elements of culture and belief that is still preserved in the people of Lampung province is a traditional ceremony carried out in the form of a sacred event showing local wisdom in the tradition of the Pangku Paliare ceremony which is held every year on 25 Muharram. The formulation in this study is how the tradition of the Pangku Paliare ceremony and how the values of da'wah in the Pangku Paliare Ceremony Tradition. This type of research is qualitative research using the methods of observation, interview, documentation. This study succeeded in describing the value of da'wah appearing in local wisdom in the pangku paliare upacra tradition, namely in the value of silahtuhrahmi, worship, and helping.

Abstract

The empowerment of religious moderation based on local wisdom in Pujodadi Village, Negeri Katon District, Pesawaran Regency, is an important effort to strengthen religious harmony by utilizing traditions maintained for generations by the local community. There is a value of local wisdom in Lampung culture called the Pill Pesenggiri culture, which means upholding the values of dignity, dignity, and self-esteem in running the social system. The value of piil pesenggiri consists of four value terms: Juluk Adok, Nemui Nyimah, Sakai Sambayan, and Nengah Nyappur. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach is applied by identifying and utilizing community assets such as religious leaders, traditional leaders, places of worship, and local values to hold joint activities, develop tolerance education programs, and provide training to community leaders. Collaboration between various community groups, religions, cultures, governments, and related stakeholders is very important in this process. The main purpose of this service is to increase religious tolerance and harmony, strengthen community capacity in resolving conflicts, increase community participation, and preserve local wisdom as the foundation for harmony and tolerance between religious communities. With this approach, it is hoped that a more tolerant and harmonious society can be created in carrying out religious life, as well as ensuring the sustainability of religious moderation programs that have a positive impact on the local community.

Abstract

Inter-religious tolerance is essential in maintaining social harmony and harmony in society. In Indonesia, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is an Islamic organization that has a major role in advocating the values of tolerance and diversity. In the context of Wana Village, Melinting Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency, the role of NU in strengthening interfaith tolerance is the main focus of this research. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques that include direct observation in the field, face-to-face interviews with informants, and documentation. Primary data was obtained directly from informants regarding NU's da'wah methods in improving interfaith tolerance in Wana Village, while secondary data included books, journals, scientific papers, and other online sources. The results showed that in Wana Village, the role of the Nahdlatul Ulama community in improving interfaith harmony is very important. As the religious majority and the largest group of religious adherents in the village, the NU community has a great responsibility in maintaining existing pluralism. Not only that, the role of the NU community also includes various efforts that must be carried out to maintain inter-religious harmony. In a life of tolerance, an attitude of openness, acceptance, and respect for differences is very important to maintain.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of interpersonal communication among librarians in supporting the successful preparation of accreditation at the Central Library of Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Intan Lampung. Interpersonal communication is considered a crucial factor in creating effective coordination, accelerating document preparation, and fostering solid teamwork among librarians. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection methods such as direct observation, in-depth interviews with librarians, and documentation review related to the accreditation process. Data analysis is conducted descriptively to provide a detailed depiction of communication dynamics, encountered obstacles, and strategies implemented by librarians during the accreditation preparation. The findings reveal that effective interpersonal communication significantly contributes to smooth coordination and synergy among librarians, despite challenges such as differences in communication styles and limited time availability. The use of digital communication technologies and interpersonal skills training emerge as important solutions to overcome these barriers. This study concludes that strengthening interpersonal communication is a key factor in the success of accreditation preparation and in enhancing the overall quality of library services. These findings provide a foundation for developing communication management and human resource training in academic libraries moving forward. This paper specifically highlights the role of librarian interpersonal communication in the context of library accreditation preparation, including its relation to teamwork dynamics and user perceptions.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times and technology, of course there are many things that must be addressed in carrying out da'wah activities so that they are in accordance with the development of today's society. This includes the use of various existing media for da'wah purposes, both in print, internet and electronic media which are considered more effective and efficient in conveying da'wah messages, one of which is film. The focus of the problem to be studied is what are the da'wah messages contained in the film Tilik Karya Wahyu Agung Prasetyo. The purpose of this study was to determine the messages of da'wah contained in the film. This study uses a qualitative method. This type of research is library research. The data were then analyzed using Roland Barthes' Semiotics which emphasized two levels of signification, namely the denotation stage and the connotation stage. The results of this study indicate that the Tilik film contains da'wah messages which include creed, sharia, and morals.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era is considered a phenomenon of combining cyber technology with automation technology, which is characterized by changes in various sectors.  In this case, mass communication is system communication that is carried out through mass media and has a significant impact, especially in its application in everyday life with diverse impacts. This research uses qualitative methods while using a library research approach. The results of observations and literacy studies conducted by the author concluded that mass communication has a considerable social impact on society along with technological developments. Because the media plays a big role in the method of replacing existing social norms with new ones, even changing and creating new ones.

Abstract

This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to explore the relationship between interpersonal communication and libraries, focusing on the role of librarian-user interactions in fostering a comfortable atmosphere and ensuring user satisfaction. Our research shows a positive correlation between effective interpersonal communication and success in the library environment. Our findings underscore the importance of librarians' direct involvement in achieving a high quality library through good interpersonal communication, thereby increasing user satisfaction. This research contributes valuable insights to understanding the dynamics of interpersonal communication within libraries, paving the way to improve communication strategies and enhance user experience.

Abstract

Law No. 3 of 2006 concerning Religious Courts (PA) provides significant changes regarding the position and existence of PA in Indonesia. The PA's authority is 1) family law cases, 2) sharia economic cases. Follow up on the authority in the field of Islamic economics. KHES was ratified through Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) No. 2 of 2008 concerning the Compilation of Sharia Economic Law. One of the themes in KHES and which is quite widely used by the community is the Syirkah Agreement. The provisions on Syirkah in KHES are contained in Book II Chapter VI concerning Syirkah and Ownership Syirkah. KHES allows all forms of syirkah contracts which include syirkah inan, syirkah abdan, syirkah mufawadhah, syirkah wujuh and syirkah mudharabah. The Maliki School allows shirkah inan, shirkah abdan, and shirkah mufawadhah but does not allow syirkah wujuh. Syirkah is valid because it is only related to the value of property and work. Meanwhile, there are no two main elements in syirkah wujuh. The Maliki school also does not include syirkah mudarabbah as a form of syirkah. Because the Maliki School supports Mudharabah as a separate contract, in other forms of cooperation. Keywords: KHES, Sharia Economic Law, Maliki School, Syirkah

Abstract

Pada saat proklamasi telah dikumandangkan atau dalam hal ini kemerdekaan negara Indonesia terjadi pada 17 Agustus 1945, Negara Republik Indonesia dihadapkan pada tahapan untuk mengisi perjuangan, dan memproteksi kemerdekaan yang disebut dengan revolusi. Salah satu pengorbanan itu diberikan oleh para Pasukan Siliwangi yang merupakan garda terdepan Pengamanan di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah atau yang disebut histografi yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis obyektifitas keberadaan Provinsi Jawa Barat pada saat perjuangan pasukan siliwangi pada masa revolusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah histografi, yaitu suatu proses penelitian yang sistematis untuk meneliti dan memahami secara komprehensif tentang sejarah atau proses berlangsungnya peristiwa masa lalu yang memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kemerdekaan Negara Republik Indonesia, berupa catatan dan manuskrip tentang persitiwa pada masa lalu dengan empat tahapan pekerjaan dimulai dari heuristik (pengumpulan data sejarah), kritik sejarah, interpretasi (pandangan teoritis) dan historiografi. Terlepas dari hal itu hasil penelitian simpulannya pertama adalah pada saat revolusi terjadi di Provinsi Jawa Barat, pada saat timbul berbagai peristiwa pertempuran dan rebuilding  Negara Pasundan sebagai proses untuk membentuk federasi Hindia-Belanda di Indonesia. Keadaan ini berakibat pada kehidupan sosial (social life) dan kondisi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pada 20 Mei 1946 lahir Pasukan Siliwangi sebagai pasukan perjuangan Indonesia di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dua ultimatum perjuangan Pasukan Siliwangi pada masa revolusi terlihat pada perjuangan mereka melaksanakan disposisi untuk hijrah berdasarkan keputusan kesepakatan Renville diantara Negara Indonesia - Negara Belanda terjadi pada 17 Januari 1948. Pasukan Siliwangi menjadi pioner untuk menyelesaikan pemberontakan Muso PKI yang berjibaku di Madiun. Usai menjalankan tugas menyelesaikan pemberontakan, pada bulan Desember 1948 Pasukan Siliwangi melaksanakan perjalanan secara bersamaan atau disebut Long March menuju ke Provinsi Jawa Barat yang berakhir pada bulan Februari 1949.
