Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find the effect of Self-Determination Motivation and academic achievement of the students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and to reveal the motivation of self-determination in the lectures of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This study uses correlational quantitative methods with the research subjects of Tarbiyah students and Teachers at UIN Sunan Ampel. Sampling was done using a stratified random sampling technique from 676. The sample was taken randomly from 127 students from 8 study programs. Data was collected through self-determination motivation questionnaires and documentation of student academic scores, as well as with a statistical regression analysis technique using SPSS Version 23 simple linear and descriptive analysis. The t-count value is 7.721, with a significance value of 0.000. The t-table value obtained from the statistical table is 1.979. If a comparison is made, then t count > t table or the significance is < 5% significance level so that the self-determination motivation has a significant effect on academic ability at the significant level (5%). The results of the statistical analysis found intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and no amotivation was found in students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, and the variety of self-determination motivation was the intrinsic and extrinsic variety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji status pernikahan suami yang hilang (mafqud) menurut pandangan imam mazhab dalam hukum Islam. Suami mafqud adalah suami yang hilang tanpa jejak dan tanpa kabar, menyebabkan ketidakpastian bagi istri dan keluarganya mengenai status pernikahan dan masa depannya. Hal ini memunculkan berbagai implikasi hukum yang perlu dipertimbangkan secara seksama. Mazhab Hanafi cenderung menetapkan bahwa istri harus menunggu sampai ada kepastian mengenai keberadaan suami, ketika ada bukti yang cukup tentang kematian suami, maka hakim yang akan memutuskannya. Mazhab Maliki memberikan jangka waktu empat tahun untuk penantian sebelum istri bisa menikah lagi, sementara Mazhab Syafi'i dan Hanbali umumnya memperbolehkan istri untuk mengajukan pembatalan pernikahan setelah empat tahun penantian, dengan proses pengadilan yang memastikan bahwa suami tidak mungkin kembali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis, dengan menggali sumber-sumber klasik dan kontemporer dari masing-masing mazhab untuk memahami argumen dan dasar hukum yang digunakan. Fokus utama adalah solusi mengatasi masalah ketidakpastian yang dihadapi oleh istri suami mafqud, serta implikasi hukum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan pandangan antara imam mazhab mencerminkan kekayaan dan fleksibilitas hukum Islam dalam menyikapi masalah kompleks seperti suami mafqud. Pendekatan yang diambil oleh masing-masing mazhab menunjukkan upaya untuk mencapai keadilan dan perlindungan hak-hak istri, meskipun dengan jangka waktu dan prosedur yang berbeda. Pemahaman yang mendalam tentang pandangan-pandangan ini sangat penting bagi institusi hukum dan masyarakat dalam mengatasi kasus-kasus serupa di era modern. Abstract

In this era of rapid technological development, promoting student discipline is a major challenge for educators. This research focuses on examining the strategy of promoting student discipline through a constructivist approach from the perspective of QS. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data will be taken from the Qur'anic Hadith, various books of Tafsir, articles and relevant journals. The data collected is then analysed in depth in order to draw conclusions. The results show that the constructivist approach is an effective method used to promote student discipline. The strategies used by teachers are role modelling, advice, reward and punishment systems, habituation and special attention to students. In the Islamic perspective, it is also derived from QS. Luqman verse 17 provides a glimpse of disciplining students through the command to pray, amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar, and always be patient in the face of trials. Thus, the application of the constructivist approach in promoting student discipline from the perspective of QS. Luqman verse 17 is very relevant and effective. Thus, this research has been conducted to add insight to the literature for educators, educational institutions and other educational institutions.

Abstract

Student disciplinary violations have become a significant educational challenge, particularly in rapid technological advancement and social change. This study aims to identify adaptive strategies that can be implemented to address student disciplinary violations and to analyse relevant challenges and solutions from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education. This research employs a literature review method, a research approach that aims to produce written work based on the analysis of existing literature. The findings indicate that strategies involving restorative approaches, character strengthening based on Islamic values, and the wise use of technology in discipline management are more effective than conventional, repressive methods. Principles in Islamic education, such as spiritual development (tarbiyah ruhiyah), moral cultivation (akhlaq), and exemplary behaviour (uswah hasanah), play a significant role in shaping students' spiritual and moral awareness. The main challenges include the lack of parental involvement, the influence of social media, and limited school resources. Proposed solutions include enhancing collaboration between schools, parents, and communities and using technology to support the development of students' Islamic character. By implementing appropriate adaptive strategies grounded in Islamic values, student disciplinary violations can be minimised, creating a more conducive and harmonious learning environment.

Abstract

The enhancement of educational institution standards has emerged as a primary concern in the field of education, with the effectiveness of teachers being a crucial element in achieving successful learning outcomes. This study intends to assess teacher effectiveness through the lens of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to elevate educational quality. A qualitative approach using a case study methodology has been utilized for this investigation. Participants involved in this research consist of educators and administrative staff from schools. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation analysis, while the data processing was guided by the interactive model created by Miles and Huberman. The findings of this research show that context evaluation uncovers various obstacles within the educational setting, particularly issues around discipline and the preparedness of teachers to instruct effectively. Input evaluation stresses the necessity of ongoing professional development to improve both the pedagogical skills and professional abilities of teachers. Process evaluation indicates that creative teaching approaches and effective classroom management are integral to enhancing learning quality. Product evaluation suggests that well-organized assessments of teacher performance have a favorable influence on the overall educational quality. The recommendations arising from this research underscore the importance of establishing more robust institutional policies to foster teacher development, the regular updating of the CIPP evaluation framework, and the need for intensified training tailored to contemporary educational demands.

Abstract

Abstract: Classroom management is an important factor in education as it directly affects the quality of learning. This paper discusses effective strategies in classroom management and examines the role of educators in creating a learning environment that supports the academic process. The main objective of this study is to identify the obstacles teachers face in managing the classroom and offer appropriate approaches to overcome them. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a literature study approach, in which various academic sources were described in order to obtain relevant data. Data validity was guaranteed through the application of validation techniques such as credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The findings of this study indicate that optimal classroom management can help students achieve better learning outcomes. Effective classroom management includes efficient utilization of resources as well as implementing solutions to challenges that arise in the learning process. In addition, this study also highlights the urgency of professional development for teachers through training, internship programs, institutional cooperation with higher education, and the integration of technology in teaching. The implementation of these strategies is expected to improve teachers' competencies and have a positive impact on the quality of education in Indonesia. This study is expected to be a reference for future research related to classroom management and learning strategies. With a more comprehensive understanding, the learning process can run more effectively, improve student discipline and encourage their involvement in academic activities. Keywords: Classroom Management, Education Strategy, Learning Management. Abstrak: Manajemen kelas merupakan faktor penting dalam pendidikan karena secara langsung mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini membahas strategi efektif dalam manajemen kelas dan mengkaji peran pendidik dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung proses akademik. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengelola kelas dan menawarkan pendekatan yang tepat untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, di mana berbagai sumber akademis dideskripsikan untuk mendapatkan data yang relevan. Validitas data dijamin melalui penerapan teknik validasi seperti kredibilitas, transferabilitas, ketergantungan, dan konfirmasi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas yang optimal dapat membantu siswa mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Manajemen kelas yang efektif mencakup pemanfaatan sumber daya yang efisien serta penerapan solusi untuk tantangan yang muncul dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyoroti urgensi pengembangan profesional bagi guru melalui pelatihan, program magang, kerja sama institusi dengan pendidikan tinggi, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pengajaran. Penerapan strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan berdampak positif pada kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya terkait manajemen kelas dan strategi pembelajaran. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif, proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan lebih efektif, meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa, dan mendorong keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan akademik. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Kelas, Manajemen Pembelajaran, Strategi Pendidikan.

Abstract

Era pendidikan 5.0 menuntut adanya transformasi yang mendalam dalam sistem pembelajaran, di mana teknologi dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan harus terintegrasi secara harmonis. Guru profesional memegang peran sentral sebagai pilar utama dalam membentuk generasi unggul yang mampu berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan adaptif terhadap tantangan global. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik generasi unggul yang adaptif, kreatif, dan berkarakter serta strategi guru professional dalam menghadapi tantangan di era Pendidikan 5.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (Library Research) yang mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur seperti jurnal, buku, artikel dan dokumen yang terkait dengan topik profesionalisme guru serta strategi guru professional dalam menghadapi tantangan di era Pendidikan 5.0. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru profesional harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, serta kompetensi teknologi yang menjadi penentu keberhasilan pendidikan di era 5.0. Namun keberhasilan tersebut menghadirkan tantangan utama yang dihadapi guru yaitu adanya keterbatasan dalam penguasaan teknologi, serta kesenjangan antara kemampuan digital siswa dengan guru. Sebagai solusinya dalam menghadapi tantangan tersebut, guru harus memanfaatkan teknologi digital serta memberikan metode pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan di era pendidikan 5.0. Dengan kompetensi dan strategi yang tepat, guru profesional dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam menciptakan generasi unggul yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis tetapi juga beretika dan berdaya saing tinggi di era pendidikan 5.0.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the internalization of Islamic values in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan, Sidoarjo Regency. The focus of the research was the eleventh-grade odd-semester students using a case study approach. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The data collecting techniques employed were observation and interviews with various informants, such as the principal, curriculum representative, project assistant teacher, and Islamic religious education teacher. The researchers conducted data analysis using the Miles and Huberman analysis method to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed the importance of the integration of Islamic values in student character education at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan, making a significant contribution to understanding Islamic education strategies to strengthen Pancasila values at the senior high school level.

Abstract

Persistence is important for students to form a personality with tough character in facing difficulties based on faith in Allah SWT. This study aims to develop an Islamic Perspective Learning Persistence instrument and find its correlation with learning outcomes. This research approach is quantitative research using exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The development of the Islamic Perspective Learning Persistence instrument is then carried out to study the effect of Islamic perspective learning persistence on learning outcomes with multiple linear regression tests. Respondents are students at MAN 3 Jombang class XI, with a sample representing class XI as many as 156 male and female students. The results showed that there were five factors formed from the EFA test of Islamic perspective learning persistence, namely the intention of worship because of Allah, patience with effort, istiqomah or never giving up, husnudzan towards Allah and husnudzan towards one's abilities. The study's results with the Simultaneous test (F) and the analysis of the coefficient of determination show that Islamic perspective learning persistence simultaneously influences student learning outcomes. The dominant factors that support learning outcomes from an Islamic perspective are patience with effort (11.0%) and husnudzan to Allah SWT in helping students’ learning difficulties (8.2%). The other three factors proved to be less dominant in improving students' learning outcomes.
