Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa mencakup empat aspek yaitu: menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Permasalahan yang terjadi di SB Kulim bahwa keempat aspek keterampilan berbahasa tersebut belum optimal. Masih terdapat siswa belum dapat membaca dengan baik. Hal tersebut tentu menjadi penghambat peningkatan kompetensi menulis. Anak yang tidak bisa membaca sudah pasti tidak bisa menulis. Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca berbasis edugame untuk mengoptimalkan kualitas dalam proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan budaya dan menarik minat anak-anak untuk gemar membaca di SB Kulim, dan terciptanya lomba literasi membaca antar anak-anak di SB Kulim. Metode pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan secara blended learning. Permasalahan di SB Kulim dapat diatas melalui sosialisasi mengenai konsep media berbasis edugame, pelatihan pemanfaatan media berbasis edugame untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca, pendampingan penerapan media berbasis edugame kepada anak-anak di SB Kulim Malaysia, dan lomba literasi membaca. Hasil pelatihan membaca nyaring berbasis edugame untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca anak di SB Kulim adalah dengan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SB Kulim. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pelatihan yang telah direncanakan berdurasi 400 menit dalam setiap pelasanakannya dan dilaksanakan selama 2 semeseter (gasal dan genap). Hasil pengabdian terdapat peningkatan keterampilan literasi membaca yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan media edugame yang ditunjukkan melalui pre test dan post test. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui berdasarkan rata-rata hasil skor pre tes adalah 65,08 sedangkan nilai rata-rata post test mengalami peningkatan sebesar 86,03 artinya ada perbedaan atau peningkatan rata-rata skor pre test dan post test yaitu sebesar 20,95 poin. Oleh karena itu, melalui pengabdian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa produk education game dapat meningkatkan literasi membaca pada anak-anak.   Children's literacy revolution: The excitement of reading aloud through edugames at Sanggar Bimbingan Kulim, Kedah Malaysia   Abstract: Language skills include four aspects, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The problem that occurs at SB Kulim is that the four aspects of language skills are not optimal. There are still students who cannot read well. This is certainly an obstacle to increasing writing competence. Children who can't read definitely can't write. This training aims to improve edugame-based reading literacy skills to optimize quality in the learning process, improve culture and attract children's interest in reading at SB Kulim, and create a reading literacy competition among children at SB Kulim. This community service method is carried out using blended learning. Problems at SB Kulim can be addressed through socialization regarding the concept of edugame-based media, training on the use of edugame-based media to increase reading literacy, assistance in implementing edugame-based media for children in SB Kulim Malaysia, and reading literacy competitions. The result of edugame-based reading-aloud training to improve children's reading literacy at SB Kulim is to show an increase in the quality of learning at SB Kulim. This is proven by the training, which has been planned to last 400 minutes in each implementation and is carried out for two semesters (odd and even). The results of the service include an increase in reading literacy skills carried out through edugame media training, which is demonstrated through pre-tests and post-tests. This is proven based on the average pre-test score being 65.08, while the average post-test score has increased by 86.03, meaning there is a difference or increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores, namely 20.95 points. Therefore, through this service, it can be proven that educational game products can increase reading literacy in children.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan peningkatan kesejahteraan mitra Kebun Dakwah Muhammadiyah dengan pengoptimalisasian smart farming melalui sistem aquaponic berbasis IoT. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dikaukan secara luring yang bertempat di Kebun Dakwah Muhammadiyah  terletak pada Jl. Nitikan Baru No.88 A, Sorosutan, Kec.Umbulharjo, Kota Yogyakarta, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Permasalahan di Kebun Dakwah Muhammadiyah dapat diatasi melalui Sosialisasi, Pelatihan integrated smart farming untuk mitra, Penerapan Teknologi intergrated Smart Farming, serta Pendampingan dan Evaluasi. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dibuktikan dengan adanya pelatihan dan penerapan integrated smart farming yang berupa aquaponic. Pelatihan dan penerapan ini menggunakan sayuran kangkung dan ikan lele. Sayuran kangkung dipilih dikarenakan sebagai salah satu tanaman yang banyak digemari oleh Masyarakat Indonesia dan memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Ikan lele digunakan dipilih dikarenakan sebagai salah satu komoditas ikan air tawar yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat di Indonesia dan peminatnya selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya.  Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya pemahaman mitra untuk mengembangkan atau budidaya sayuran dengan ikan dengan waktu yang bersamaan melalui hasil rata-rata hasil skor pre-tes 5,75 dan hasil rata-rata post-test sebesar 8,95. Hal tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 3,2 poin. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa penerapan integrated smart farming dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mitra dalam pengoptimalisasian smart farming melalui sistem aquaponic berbasis IoT.   Training on integrated smart farming through aquaponic system aquaponics at the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Garden   Abstract: This training aims to improve the welfare of Muhammadiyah Da'wah Farm partners by optimizing smart farming through an IoT-based aquaponic system. The method used in this community service is conducted offline at the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Garden located at Jl. Nitikan Baru No.88 A, Sorosutan, Kec.Umbulharjo, Yogyakarta City, Yogyakarta Special Region. Problems at the Muhammadiyah Da'wah Farm can be overcome through socialization, integrated smart farming training for partners, application of integrated smart farming technology, and assistance and evaluation. The results of this Community Service are evidenced by the training and application of integrated smart farming in the form of aquaponic. This training and application uses kale vegetables and catfish. Kale vegetables were chosen because they are one of the plants that are widely favored by the Indonesian people and have high economic value. Catfish is used because it is one of the freshwater fish commodities that are in great demand by the people in Indonesia and its demand always increases every year. This is also evidenced by the increased understanding of partners to develop or cultivate vegetables with fish at the same time through the average results of the pre-test score of 5.75 and the average results of the post-test of 8.95. This shows an increase of 3.2 points. Therefore, this training can prove that the application of integrated smart farming can improve partners' ability to optimize smart farming through an IoT-based aquaponic system.

Abstract

Guru SD Muhammadiyah di Kecamatan Seyegan belum sepenuhnyamenerapkan Kurikulum 2013 yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah.Alasannya, guru masih belum memahami mengenai penyusunanperangkat pembelajaran tematik-integratif. Program pengabdiankepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: a) meningkatkan pengetahuanguru sekolah dasar dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran tematikintegratif untuk kegiatan pembelajaran, dan b) meningkatkan mutuproses pembelajaran dan proses yang terkait yang dilakukan oleh gurusekolah dasar. Perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun terdiri daripenyusunan RPP, pembuatan media pembelajaran, penyusunan soalyang berbasis High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), dan penilaianautentik. Metode yang digunakan berupa ceramah, praktik, diskusi,dan self and group reflection. Manfaat yang diperoleh peserta meliputidapat memanfaatkan ide dan gagasan penyusunan perangkatpembelajaran tematik integratif; dapat mengoptimalkan perangkatpembelajaran tematik integratif untuk kegiatan pembelajaran; dapatmenyusun perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif yang terdiri dariRPP, media pembelajaran, dan penilaian autentik untuk setiappembelajaran di sekolah; termotivasi selalu menyusun perangkatpembelajaran tematik integratif dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas.Hasil yang diperoleh adalah para peserta mampu menyusun RPPtematik-integratif, membuat media pembelajaran yang menarik,mampu menyusun soal berbasis HOTS dan menyusun penilaianautentik yang meliputi penilaian afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorikdengan ketentuan sesuai dengan format yang telah diberikan.Berdasarkan nilai pretest-posttest mengalami peningkatan dari ratarata99,78 dengan kategori cukup tinggi setelah diberikan pelatihanperangkat pembelajaran tematik-integratif menjadi rata-rata 113,22dengan kategori tinggi. Selain itu, para guru mampu menerapkanpembelajaran tematik-integratif dalam proses pembelajarannyasehingga tuntutan pemerintah untuk menerapkan Kurikulum 2013dapat dilaksanakan secara lancar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan urgensi pendidikan multikultural sebagai wadah strategis untuk menanamkan karakter toleransi di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas atas maupun bawah dari 6 SD di 3 kabupaten di Yogyakarta. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) karakter toleransi mulai luntur pada anak sekolah dasar yang terlihat pada kurang menghormati ketika teman lainnya sedang beribadah; 2) pemahaman siswa dan guru tentang pendidikan multikultural masih sangat minim yang terlihat dari responden yang tidak memahami penjelasan terkait pendidikan multikultural padahal pendidikan multikultural adalah wadah strategis untuk mengembangkan karakter toleransi. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan multikultural dianggap urgen untuk dikenalkan ke siswa dan guru sehingga diharapkan karakter toleransi akan berkembang pula.

Abstract

Implementasi pembelajaran masih sering mengalami banyakkendala. Siswa sebagai subjek sekaligus objek pembelajaran masihsering mengalami gangguan psikologis ringan (neurose). Salah satujenis gangguan psikologis ringan ditunjukan dengan adanyagangguan kesulitan belajar (GKB). Selama ini masalah GKB yangdialami siswa di Gugus Girikerto belum dapat tertangani denganbaik. Hal ini disebabkan masih minimnya Pengetahuan danketerampilan guru dalam melakukan perencaaan, pelaksanaan,evaluasi dan Tindak lanjut intervensi gangguan kesulitan belajar.Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuandan keterampilan guru dalam mengintervensi permasalahan siswayang mengalami gangguan psikologis ringan. Program inidilaksanakan di Gugur Girikerto Kabupaten Sleman, DIY pada bulanJuli-Agustus 2019. Sasaran program adalah 30 guru SD dariberbagai kualifikasi pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalampelatihan ini adalah problem based learning dengan mengangkatpermasalahan-permasalahan di sekolah asal guru. Datapengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dikumpulkan melalui observasidan tes. Hasil pelaksanaan program pelatihan berhasilmengidentifikasi permasalahn yang dialami guru di dalam kelasterutama yang terkait dengan gangguan psikologi ringan pada siswa.Selain itu, pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengatasigangguan psikologi ringan pada siswa juga meningkat.

Abstract

The livelihood of the residents of Towua Village is generally farming, including both pond farming and rice field farming. Towua Village has a pond area of 585.69 hectares used for milkfish farming. Discussions with the village head revealed that the productivity of the community-owned ponds is still very low because they are managed traditionally. This issue also affects the Harapan Jaya Bandeng Farmers Group. One possible solution is to implement or apply technology to help improve the quality of the ponds. The solutions to address the partner's problems include increasing the supply of natural feed through organic farming systems, improving pond management and governance, and providing business management training. These solutions are implemented using a holistic and multidisciplinary research-based approach to achieve farmers' welfare and village economic independence. The method used in this activity is the action research approach. The results of training, assistance, and monitoring of pond quality have led to an 80% increase in partner knowledge, an 80% increase in partner skills, a 60% increase in partner accessibility, and a 50% increase in partner income.

Abstract

The Effect of the Application of the Mind Mapping Method on Creative Thinking Skills and Learning Outcomes of PGSD Students. Objective: this study is to determine the effect of the application of mind mapping methods on the ability to think creatively and learning outcomes of PGSD UAD students. Method: This research is a quantitative research with the type of research type -Experimental Design One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample used in this study was PGSD Semester 2 students in the Advanced Social Studies course totaling 29 students consisting of 24 women and 5 men. Pretest and posttest test questions developed by researchers were given to students to obtain research data. Then analyzed using t-test with a significant level of 0.05. Findings: The application of mind mapping method improves creative thinking ability and learning outcomes. Conclusion: There is a significant effect on the learning outcomes of UAD students using the mind mapping learning method. Abstract

This research examines the utilization of Virtual Reality (VR) and its implications for the learning process, specifically focusing on learning interest, prior knowledge, learning engagement, and content comprehension. The central objective is to establish a comprehensive model that unravels the intricate interplay between these factors within the context of VR-based learning. The study also aims to shed light on the impact of integrating Cognitive Load Theory into VR development and its effects on the learning experience. Adopting an observational design, this study elucidates the intricate relationships among learning interest, prior knowledge, learning engagement, and content comprehension in VR-based education. The VR technology employed in this research has previously undergone rigorous feasibility testing. The VR application was designed following cognitive load theory principles. Its immersive content offers users a lifelike immersion into the natural habitats of diverse animal species across various global regions. By leveraging VR technology, elementary school students engage in a more profound and authentic learning journey. A total of 85 participants, encompassing fourth and fifth-grade elementary school students, were involved in the study. These students were drawn from schools situated in rural areas in particular regions in Indonesia and had moderate to low economic backgrounds. The variables under examination include Prior Knowledge, Learning Interest, Engagement, and Content Comprehension as learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted utilizing a blend of linear regression and path analysis techniques, with a confidence level of 95%. The Guttman scale questionnaire was used, and total scores were transformed into a ratio scale through a conversion process. The study reveals a positive correlation between learning interest and learning outcomes, highlighting that a strong interest in a subject contributes to improved learning results. Additionally, both learning interest and prior knowledge influence learning engagement. Students with higher learning interests and prior knowledge are more likely to actively engage in the learning process actively, underscoring internal factors' role in motivating participation. Learning engagement moderates the relationships between learning interest, prior knowledge, and learning outcomes. By enhancing the effect of learning interest and prior knowledge on learning outcomes, engagement enables more comprehensive and practical information processing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui efektivitas e-book berbasis blended learning terhadap keterampilan literasi siswa kelas V SD; dan 2) mengetahui efektivitas e-book berbasis blended learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Jenis penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan yaitu Pre-Experimental Design dengan tipe One-Group Pretest-Posttest.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan uji prasyarat analisis. Pada penelitian ini sudah dikembangkan e-book berbasis blended learning untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SD. Selanjutnya e-book berbasis blended learning untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi siswa kelas V di SD divalidasi oleh para ahli (media, pembelajaran, bahasa, materi). Pada penelitian ini e-book yang sudah dikembangkan diuji keefektivan di Sekolah Dasar dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh untuk keterampilan literasi nilai pretest adalah 26,02. Sedangkan rata-rata hitung posttest 37,46 sedangkan untuk hasil belajar diperoleh nilai pretest 65,07 sebesar dan nilai posttest 86,03 sebesar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya e-book berbasis blended learning terhadap keterampilan literasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sangat efektif diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran dikelas.   Exploring the success of blended learning through e-books: A case study in class V of SD Muhammadiyah Ngadiwinatan   Abstract: This study aims to (1) determine the effectiveness of e-books based on blended learning on the literacy skills of grade V students and (2) determine the effectiveness of e-books based on blended learning on the learning outcomes of grade V students. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with experimental methods. The type of experimental research used is a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest type.  The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and prerequisite test analysis. In this research, a blended learning-based e-book has been developed to foster literacy skills and learning outcomes of grade V students in elementary school. Furthermore, experts validated e-books based on blended learning to foster grade V students' literacy skills in elementary schools (media, learning, language, material). In this study, the developed e-book was tested for effectiveness in primary schools in fostering literacy skills and learning outcomes of grade V students. The results of the study obtained for literacy skills the pretest score was 26.02. The average post-test count is 37.46, while for learning outcomes, the pretest value is 65.07, and the post-test value is 86.03. Based on these results, the e-book based on blended learning on literacy skills and learning outcomes of grade V students is very effective in the classroom learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan dan kelayakan media Tangga Pintar penjumlahan dan pengurangan Matematika kelas I sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah ahli media, ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, guru dan peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara dan angket. Hasil pengembangan berupa media pembelajaran Tangga Pintar penjumlahan dan pengurangan Matematika kelas I sekolah dasar, berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli media mendapat nilai 78,12 (baik). Ahli materi mendapat nilai 88,75 (sangat baik). Ahli pembelajaran mendapat nilai 78,94 (baik). Hasil uji coba I dan II, penilaian angket dari guru diperoleh nilai 97,36 (sangat baik). Penilaian angket respon peserta didik uji coba I diperoleh hasil 78,07, uji coba ke II 89,92 dengan rata-rata nilai kedua uji coba tersebut 83,99 (sangat baik) nilai pretest 54,58 dan nilai posttest 84,58. Sehingga dari hasil tersebut media pembelajaran tangga pintar layak digunakan oleh peserta didik. The development of tangga pintar learning media in addition and subtraction learning materials of first grade elementary schoolThis research aimed to determine the development and feasibility of tangga pintar (smart ladder) media in Mathematics addition and subtraction learning materials of first grade elementary school. This was development research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were media expert, material expert, learning expert, teachers, and students. The research instruments were interviews and questionnaires. The results of the development were in the form of Tangga Pintar (smart ladder) learning media of Mathematics addition and subtraction of first grade elementary school. The results of the media expert assessment was scored 78,12 (good). The material expert scored 88,75 (very good). Learning expert scored 78,94 (good). For the results of trials I and II, the questionnaire assessment from the teacher obtained a score of 97,36 (very good). The questionnaire of students' responses of the Trial I is 78, 07, while the Trial II is 89,92, thus the average of the two trials is 83,99 (very good). pretest score is 54,58, while the posttest is 84,58. Therefore, from these results, Tangga Pintar (smart ladder) learning media is feasible to be used by students.
